Tony Shhnow Drops Is Extremely Curious On “Tryna See”

2023 was a productive year for the underground rapper from California, Tony Shhnow. The mumble trap rapper likes to deliver carefree and sometimes dark trap bangers. In 2023, Tony put out 23 (!) singles and two projects. The first of the LP drops was a solo release called Love Streak which was 16 songs and just 37 minutes long. Shhnow fed his fans a second plate of the record four months later with a ChopNotSlop version. Then, in October right before Halloween, he teamed up with Robb Bank$ for I Can’t Feel My Face Too. That tape was even shorter, sitting at 14 tracks and 29 minutes. DRAM was the only feature to be found on the tape.

2024 is already shaping up to be another year of massive proportions for Tony. On his Instagram, the 28-year-old revealed that another album or tape of sorts could be in the works. About one week ago, Tony Shhnow posted a picture of himself with the caption, “loading..” Then, a couple of days later, he posted another photo, saying, “mode.. #otw 🍃❄”

Last year’s Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame festivities were mudded by co-founder Jann Wenner’s disparaging remarks about Black artists and women. Now that Wenner has reportedly been removed from all levels of the ceremony, the 2024 process can focus back on the contributions of entertainers across genres.

On Saturday, February 10, the 2024 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame class nominees have been announced. Among the potential inductees are Mariah Carey, Ozzy Osbourne, Cher, Sinéad O’Connor, Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, Eric B & Rakim, Foreigner, Lenny Kravitz, Oasis, Sade, A Tribe Called Quest, Peter Frampton, Jane’s Addiction, and Kool & The Gang.

The most interesting acts on the nomination list are Cher and A Tribe Called Quest, as both have been called out semi-recently for being snubbed. In December, during her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Cher called out the organization for “snubbing” her in the past.

“It took four of them to be one of me,” she said. “And I’m not in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! I’m not kidding you; I was about to say sh*tting you! You know what, I wouldn’t be in it now if they gave me a million dollars… I’m never going to change my mind. They can just go you-know-what themselves…I changed music forever with ‘Believe.’”

A Tribe Called Quest has been nominated multiple times but hasn’t been formally inducted. In 2023, former member Consequence spoke to TMZ about the “snub.”

“This is the family tree for me,” he said. “This is the tree that brought you G.O.O.D Music. This is the tree that allowed Common Sense to be Common. This is the right-hand man to De La Soul. Stop me when I’m lying. What we not gonna do is keep subjugating that name, A Tribe Called Quest, to a white popularity contest.”

The voting members of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame have their work cut out for them.

Super Bowl Sunday is approaching fast this weekend in Las Vegas, and a lot of stars are already there or on the way. Moreover, according to TMZ, it seems like the Kardashians arrived at the city via private jet on Saturday morning (February 10), with Kim, Khloé, and Kendall Jenner walking out of the airplane in bundles. They wore low-profile outfits, but it wasn’t until they reportedly made it to their hotel that people really started getting excited. Out of their van emerged a man with a puffy coat, white beanie, and blue jeans, which many fans theorized could be Justin Bieber, who’s been in heavy rumors as of late about potentially joining Usher as a special musical guest for his Super Bowl halftime show.

Furthermore, this is all still speculative at press time, but it will surely fuel these rumors even more regardless. What’s more is that Justin Bieber is not the only special guest rumored to appear tomorrow for the big game’s mid-way spectacle. Alicia Keys reportedly rehearsed for the big event, so a lot of fans predict that she will surely join Usher onstage. Whether these “surprise” appearances actually manifest, we’re sure it will still be a great show.

In fact, Usher recently spoke of incorporating a roller skating bit from his Vegas residency into his Super Bowl halftime show. “When you think about skating, it’s not just rolling and the music,” he told Access Hollywood. “It’s also to what you wear. It’s how you feel. Somewhere during the pandemic I had this bright idea to just go back to having fun, and that’s what this is. I want to offer the same thing to people who come here to dance, and listen to music, have a few drinks, and just chill out or even get on skates and have a good time. Again, you might fall down but you get back up, but you have fun.”

Reports have emerged indicating that Quavo had a verse removed from “Fuk Sumn” on Vultures 1 and fans are not happy. “Quavo verse >Travis verse aside. Ty has NO aura. The aura coming off of quavo is insane next to weak a– retwist needing a– Ty,” one fan wrote. “I haven’t seen the TL defend quavo like this lol. Seems like Kanye really messed up with removing him on ‘FUCK SUM’,” added another. “Kanye robbed quavo by taking him off fuk sumn. I don’t give a single f-ck about carti, travis or even kanye’s verse on here, quavo was carrying the song bro 😞 SHYYYYT,” a third noted.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Drop “Vultures 1”: All Features & Production Credits

Vultures 1, the first album in a trilogy of releases from Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign, is finally out. Along with it comes a whole host of features across the 16 tracks, with more expected across the upcoming releases. The first feature of Vultures 1 is India Love on “Keys To My Life”. Two songs later, Kanye is joined by his daughter North West for “Talking/Once Again”. That is followed by an appearance from Freddie Gibbs on “Back To Me”. Tracks 7 and 8 are another pair of back-to-back features, with Nipsey Hussle & YG appearing on “Do It” and Quavo featuring on “Paperwork”. The final four features can be found between tracks 10 and 13. There are two appearances by Playboi Carti – “Fuk Sum” (also featuring Travis Scott) and “Carnival” (also featuring Rich The Kid). Meanwhile, Chris Brown adds his vocals to “Beg Forgiveness”. Finally, there is the album’s namesake, which features Lil Durk & Bump J.

Meanwhile, the album also features a whole host of producers. with Genius listing 40 in total. Big names include JPEGMAFIA, London On Da Track, Timbaland, and Wheezy. Another veteran presence is Ambezza, a multi-platinum producer who produced “Life Is Good” from Future & Drake. There are also 51 writers on Vultures 1.

Per several outlets including TMZ and PEOPLE, Jonathan Majors and Megan Good have reportedly moved in together following an LA to New York road trip with a brief Texas detour. Despite Majors’ guilty verdict in his assault trial and other news that broke about the actor this week, the couple is still “very much in love”, according to one source. The pair share a three-month-old puppy. However, this comes as more allegations break about Majors’ alleged behavior on the set of Lovecraft Country.

Meanwhile, a judge has delayed Majors’ sentencing after the actor’s legal team filed to dismiss his guilty verdict. Majors’ team argued that the actor had not been given a fair trial. The argument is based on the premise that the prosecution had portrayed the actor’s assault on his ex-girlfriend as intentional before eventually asking the jury to consider his actions “reckless”. As a result, the presiding judge has continued Majors’ case until early April.

Jonathan Majors Faces New Allegations From Two Ex-Girlfriends

Elsewhere, Two women, Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper, have gone public with allegations of physical and emotional abuse against Majors. Both women had their allegations referred to in a Rolling Stone exposé about Majors last year. However, the pair have since publicly reiterated their claims in an interview with The New York Times. Duncan claims that Majors “threw her across the room” and “threatened to make sure she couldn’t have children” during a fight in 2016. Meanwhile, Hooper called Majors “deeply controlling” and told her she was “not allowed to speak with anyone about the relationship”. Majors has denied the accusations. However, his attorney noted that the actor was “deeply embarrassed by some of his jealous behavior”. Both women had previously declined to speak directly to Rolling Stone, with one citing a fear of retribution.

The testimony of Duncan and Hooper follows semi-public claims from another woman, who spoke to The Cut under a pseudonym. “Anna” told the publication that she had pulled her story from the Rolling Stone article after receiving a threatening letter warning her not to go public with her allegations. According to “Anna”, the phone number included with the letter was linked to the law firm retained by Majors for his criminal trial last year. Majors’ attorney denied any involvement from her or her firm in the letter.

Kodak Black Still In Prison Despite Dropped Drug Possession Charge

Kodak Black is still in significant legal trouble and behind bars right now, despite a judge dismissing his drug possession charges stemming from a December 2023 arrest. Moreover, according to The Associated Press, Judge Barbara Duffy dropped this charge on Friday (February 9), but she and the court ordered him to stay in prison. This is because the Florida rapper still faces evidence tampering charges in this specific case, and if those are dismissed, only then will he see freedom. Concerning this December 7 arrest, prosecutors could not verify whether or not his claims of actually having an oxycodone prescription are true.

Furthermore, law enforcement officials searched Kodak Black’s vehicle that day in Plantation, Florida. They found him sleeping in his Bentley’s driver’s seat. They claimed they found a substance similar to cocaine within, which he tried to discard of and even ingest orally. Still, the 26-year-old maintained that this was not cocaine at all, but rather the aforementioned and prescribed oxycodone in his possession. Not only that, but he claimed that this was to deal with injuries sustained during a nightclub shooting in Los Angeles in February of 2022.

However, his lawyer Bradford Cohen hopes that this will lead to a dismissal of the evidence tampering charge, as well. “I wasn’t surprised,” he stated concerning Judge Duffy’s decision to drop the drug charges, according to the Sun-Sentinel. “Whenever a court follows the rule of law, I’m never surprised. I’m surprised when they don’t follow the rule of law, that’s when I’m surprised.” Not only does Kodak Black’s attorney want him free from jail, but he also wants his bond reinstated.

In a new clip, a man is seen standing in the aisle of the plane, waiting for his partner to leave the restroom so he can pop the question while Boosie films. Put me on,” he shouted at the man. “I’m performing at your wedding. No charge. It feels like MadeinTYO was someone who was known for his idiosyncratic bangers. The multi-cultural rapper and singer really burst onto the scene with his viral hit “Uber Everywhere.” It got so popular, that he recruited Travis Scott for an equally fire remix. But, it seems that MadeinTYO is looking to move over into another lane on the bustling musical freeway.

His 2023 record NEO TYO still had some more trappy-sounding instrumentals. But, the songs came across as more low-key than normal. Maybe he was trying to tell the fans something because TYO 808 is a full dive into more R&B/soul cuts.
