Boosie Badazz Slams Usher Over Alicia Keys Super Bowl Embrace

Boosie Badazz is demanding Usher apologize to Swizz Beatz for the way he embraced Alicia Keys during his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance on Sunday night. Boosie reacted to the viral moment with a post on Instagram after the game.

“@USHER ENOUGH IS ENOUGH BRO” Boosie wrote. “U NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO SWISS SHE MARRIED MY N***A I KNOW THAT WASNT PLANNED.” Not all of Boosie’s followers were in agreement with his disappointment. “Swizz Beatz knew what it was when his wife agreed to perform. Usher is a performer,” one commented. Another added: “Y’all so goofy on this app, This was a performance, just like acting. They’re both married and I’m sure both their spouses knew of this hug.”

Swizz Beatz spoke out in response to the backlash on Instagram after the game, defending Usher and his wife. “Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing !!! y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium,” Swizz wrote. “Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants ! Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic. We don’t do negative vibes on this side we make history. Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, & Chris Brown Are Taking No Prisoners On Epic “BEG FORGIVENESS”

After a weekend with Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign’s collaboration tape VULTURES 1, fans are lukewarm on it. Some say it is an outstanding record, while others do not like how Ye comes across on some of the tracks. One thing that people seem to be collectively agreeing on is the quality of the production. It certainly helps when you have so many creative geniuses coming together like JPEGMAFIA and London On Da Track, for example. They have excellent contributions to “BEG FORGIVENESS.”

It is one of the few serious moments on the LP, and this may be the strongest of that bunch. When Kanye drops introspective and minimal tracks, they almost always seem to hit differently. If you do not believe us, go listen to ones like “FML,” “Say You Will,” or “Come to Life.” Those are just a handful of examples that show him at his best. Ye’s verse on “BEG FORGIVENESS” is quite touching as he hopes that his children will live amazing lives. Additionally, he talks about his own mortality and that he is comfortable with what he accomplised if he were to perish.

As for Ty and Breezy, they both dig deep and bring emotional performances. Brown delivers expertly written choruses, refrains, and pre-choruses. Ty finishes things up, belting out raspy and powerful lines like, “Say you wanna make amends before I go / Now you wanna put your heart on the line.” Both R&B talents are feeling resentful and it will send chills down your spine. For ultimate the crescendo, the instrumental feels tribal, epic, and cold in all the right ways. The chants of “beg forgiveness” are haunting but beautiful as well. Doja Cat Gets Restraining Order Against Brother Denied

If you’ve been up to date on what Doja Cat is up to online, you might have seen some concerning news about her brother. Moreover, Raman Dlamini allegedly stole from her and engaged in physically and mental abuse, and also received similar accusations of poor treatment towards their mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer. Her restraining order against him expired, but she’s since gained a new one that will last five years. However, when it comes to the Scarlet superstar, the court reportedly denied a permanent restraining order in her favor against her brother, per AllHipHop. At press time, it’s unclear exactly what prompted this refusal or what grounds it stands on, as this didn’t come with an exoneration or excuse for her brother’s alleged behavior.

Furthermore, these claims come from Doja Cat’s mother, who claimed Raman Dlamini engaged in these crimes “several times” and made them feel “unsafe.” Another allegation concerning this is that the 30-year-old male destroyed property belonging to his 28-year-old sister. “Raman has destroyed and stolen property,” the original filing regarding Doja Cat and her mother read. “Raman has verbally assaulted [Doja] in a very degrading and demeaning [manner]. [He] has made her feel unsafe and traumatized.” In addition, Sawyer claimed that Raman’s actions led to “constant anxiety and fear” in their lives.

For what it’s worth, Doja Cat’s brother previously denied all these allegations. This occurred when a reporter found him out in the open and asked him about it, for which he had strong words. Not only did Raman deny that there was any abuse involved, but he also suggested that he hasn’t spoken to his family in years. As such, this is still a pretty muddy case, especially given the discrepancy between the acceptance and denial of two different restraining orders.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles native recently teased a deluxe version of her latest album, which has fans very excited. Still, this paints any activity from a career standpoint in a darker light. Taylor Swift was in Las Vegas last night for the Super Bowl. Overall, it was a huge celebration for the Chiefs and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Kelce had himself a huge second half that helped the Chiefs keep the game tied. Subsequently, the match ended up in overtime and the Chiefs scored a touchdown to win the whole thing. Although some felt like the game was boring, it was clear that the finish was truly incredible. In many ways, it was one of the most memorable Super Bowls in recent memory.

However, some people are now worried about Taylor Swift and her safety. This is all because of an altercation that took place between Travis Kelce and his head coach, Andy Reid. In the clip below, you can see Kelce getting into it with Reid. Kelce began screaming in his coach’s face and even bumped into him. Overall, Kelce was upset that he wasn’t on the field during Pacheco’s fumble in the first quarter. Eventually, cooler heads prevailed and Kelce played well the rest of the way.

Beyonce Taps Hit-Boy For New Country Songs: See Full Production Credits

Beyonce’s country era is officially here, and ahead of Act II‘s release on March 29, she surprise-dropped two new singles for the album. These are “16 CARRIAGES” and “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” and folks are loving the songwriting, vocal performance, and instrumental aesthetics behind them. As expected, they both had a lot of hands working on them, and we now have the full list of production credits. On both songs, the Houston icon produced, composed, wrote lyrics, was the associated performer, provided vocals, and was also the main vocal producer. Mariel Gomerez was the A&R director for both, and Matheuz Braz was the assistant engineer.

Raphael Saadiq, a frequent collaborator in the Beyoncé universe, composed and wrote lyrics for both cuts. Stuart White also provided production on both and was a recording and mixing engineer for them, whereas Andrea Roberts engineered them and Colin Leonard was the mastering engineer. That’s all the overlap; now, let’s move into “16 CARRIAGES” specifically. Its producers include Dave Hamelin and Ink, with Hamelin and Atia Boggs also composing and writing lyrics. Saadiq was also an additional producer here, Hamelin and Ink provided guitar, Hamelin and Gavin Williams played the organ, and Hamelin played the piano.

Furthermore, Dave Hamelin was also a recording engineer, Justin Schipper and Robert Randolph played steel guitar, Hamelin also took over synth duties, and Ryan Svendsen played the trumpet. Now onto Beyonce’s “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM”: for this one, acclaimed beatsmith Hit-Boy provided additional production along with Mariel Gomerez, and also did some synthesizer work. Its producers are Killah B (who also did drums) and nathan ferraro (who also played bass and piano, plus has lyric and composition credits). Brian Bates, Elizabeth Lowell Boland (who also played piano), and Megan Bülow helped compose and write lyrics for this track.

Rhiannon Giddens played banjo and viola, and Raphael Saadiq (who also was co-producer and played drums, organ, and piano) and Khirye Tyler (who also played piano) take over bass duties. Meanwhile, “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” also has a couple more recording engineers. These are Alex Nibley and Hotae Alexander Jang. Beyonce Hints At The New Direction For “ACT II” With “16 CARRIAGES” & TEXAS HOLD ‘EM”

Beyonce is a living legend and a masterful businesswoman. Amid all the hype surrounding Super Bowl LVIII, she teased some new music in a pair of commercials. One of them was a hilarious Verizon collaboration, with Beyonce trying to break the internet by trying to pull off crazy stunts. At the end of the advertisement, she said, “Drop the new music.” Somewhat separate from that ad, Queen Bey previewed one of her two new singles “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM.” This is going to be a part of ACT II.

At the end of that commercial, she revealed the release date. It looks to be March 29 and based on both tracks, it seems we are transitioning. We are going from the undeniable grooves of house and dance to country. Beyonce did drop a single, “MY HOUSE,” back in December, but that appears to have no ties to ACT II based on its sound alone. But, how do these songs sound?

Well, they sound pretty damn good. Beyonce has something cooking for ACT II and it may be one of her most ambitious projects. “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” is more of a hoedown song with animated background vocals and a thumping drum pattern. Contrastingly, “16 CARRIAGES” is a more serious vibe with a grand instrumental. It is a self-reflecting Beyonce who looks at all the difficulties and hard work she has put in to get to where she is now. She embraces her Texan roots in a very tasteful way. Grab your lassos and cowboy hats, RENAISSANCE ACT II is going to be a hell of a ride.
