J. Cole “Might Delete Later”: Full List Of Production Credits

Wow. That is all we have to say about J. Cole dropping Might Delete Later. This totally took everyone surprise over the wee hours, as the Dreamville head honcho put out 12 new cuts which have no relation to The Fall Off. This is genius marketing from one of the biggest rappers in the world, as what used to be a series of vlogs that teased new music, is now a full album’s worth of material. In fact, the volumes lived up to their name, being deleted from all of Cole’s social media platforms. With Might Delete Later now out, fans might want to know some of the production credits or features.

Well, we got you with all of those details right here. For J. Cole’s ninth project, he is back working alongside some familiar faces. The legendary T-Minus has his talented hands all over this album. His expertise can be heard on “Pricey,” “Crocodile Tearz,” “Ready ’24,” and many more. Perhaps the most exciting addition out of them all is The Alchemist. We have heard him and Cole’s potential, especially on “Johhny P’s Caddy.”

J. Cole Brought Spared No Expense For Might Delete Later

However, that was a Benny The Butcher track. Now, we have something to go off from Cole’s solo catalog and “Stickz N Stonez” is a great first collaboration. Other incredible names listed are Mike WiLL Made-It, FNZ, Charlie Heat, ATL Jacob, Conductor Williams, etc. As for the rappers and singers, J. Cole did not leave any stone unturned either. He went ahead and snagged one of Kendrick Lamar’s close pals, Ab-Soul for “Pi.” Dreamville signees all over the LP too, like Bas and Ari Lennox. Gucci Mane gives Cole verse after he got the Might Delete Later creator on Breath of Fresh Air. Finally, New York legend Cam’ron makes a welcome appearance on “Ready ’24.” He previously had a small role on The Off-Season‘s intro track.

Drake “Scary Hours 3” Production Credits

We thought that Drake was taking a break but apparently, that’s not the case. This week, the rapper announced that he was returning with the release of Scary Hours 3. The highly-anticipated third installment of the Scary Hours series has been as anticipated as For All The Dogs. However, the release of his latest studio album appeared to mark the end of an era, one that Drake said would result in his absence from the studio for a little bit. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

In the midst of criticism surrounding his latest album, which many initial naysayers retracted a month later, the rapper was evidently on a mission to ensure people that he still has bars. As a result, his production choices on For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition are vastly different from the majority of his latest project. Even with production from Lil Yachty and ovrkast, Drake aims for more soulful production with credits from The Alchemist (“Wick Man”) and Griselda’s go-to Conductor Williams (“Stories About My Brother”).” Drake previously linked with Conductor on “8 AM In Charlotte.” Additionally, he brings on frequent collaborators Boi-1da, FNZ, Fierce, Vinylz.

Drake Comes Through With Scary Hours 3

The rapper announced the 6-pack project in the wee hours of Nov. 16th with a dramatic trailer filmed at the Roy Thomson Theatre in Toronto. In the clip, the rapper explained his inspiration behind releasing Scary Hours 3, despite announcing that he’d be taking a break from the studio for atleast a year. “I’ll say this to you I’m not… I feel no need to appease anybody. I feel so confident about the body of work I just dropped that I know I can go and disappear for whatever… six months, a year… two years,” he said.

“You know, ultimately it’s coming to me in a way that I haven’t experienced since If You’re Reading This [It’s Too Late] where it’s just kind of like I feel like I’m on drugs,” he continued. “I feel like I’m in that mental state without doing anything. Who am I to fight it?” He then shares some facts, saying the new songs were written in the past five days and that he did not have “one bar written” for the follow-up to 2021’s Scary Hours 2 EP when he released his most recent album, For All the Dogs, a month ago. “It’s not like I’m picking up from some unfinished s–t. You know, this is just happening on its own. And who am I to fight it?” Check out the production credits below via HHNM.

Producer No I.D.’s 7 Biggest Hits

Being dubbed the “Godfather of Chicago Hip Hop” is no easy feat, but No I.D. is more than deserving of the title. The producer worked his way to become one of the most acclaimed hit-makers of the 2000s and 2010s. Beyond it all, his music knowledge earned him the Presidency seat at G.O.O.D. Music between 2008 and 2011. Known for his collaborations with collaborations with Jay-Z and Kanye West, No I.D. has churned out a ton of hits over the years. However, these seven stand as some of the biggest songs he’s put his magic on.

“Bound 2” – Kanye West (2013)

“Bound 2” was never actually released as a single, but it evidently became one of the highlights on Yeezus. No I.D. was not the primary producer on the album, however, but a secondary co-producer, alongside Kanye West, Mike Dean, Noah Goldstein, Ché Pope, and Erick Danchick. The song was met with overwhelming praise and is considered one of Ye’s best tracks. “Bound 2” also enjoyed viral success after the release of its music video. West and Kim Kardashian, who were engaged at the time, both appeared in the passionate video. Kim, who was seen otpless, rode atop Kanye’s motorbike while facing him directly. “Bound 2” peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Find Your Love” – Drake (2010)

Before Drake’s eventual world domination, he was on quite the rise in 2010. He released “Find Your Love” in May, right before the summer and it became a summer staple. Originally intended for Rihanna, the song appeared on Drake’s debut album, Thank Me Later. “Find Your Love” was a joint production venture. No I.D., Kanye West, and Jeff Bhasker each contributed to the song’s distinct dancehall feel. The single performed very well in the United States, peaking at the third spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, it has been certified 3x platinum for over three million units sold.

“My Last” – Big Sean feat. Chris Brown (2011)

Big Sean’s debut album was a lauded effort, and its success was largely in part its lead single. “My Last” was released in March 2011, but still enjoys a healthy rotation at many clubs and parties today. The single featured Chris Brown, who took on the infectious chorus. “My Last” was solely produced by No I.D., who was also the President of G.O.O.D. Music at the time. “My Last” peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, but reached the summit on the Hot Rap Songs chart. As aforementioned, it is one of No I.D.’s most notable tracks that has stood the test of time.

“Heartless” – Kanye West (2008)

No I.D. and Ye both co-produced this track. Furthermore, the former is credited as his birth name, Ernest Wilson, for co-writing as well. “Heartless” was released in 2008 and was one of West’s earlier notable tracks. It was released as the second single on Ye’s acclaimed, experimental fourth album, 808s & Heartbreak. Following the lead single, “Love Lockdown,” “Heartless” follows Ye’s auto-tune sung-rap style. Lyrically, the song details his sadness over his breakup with Alexis Phifer. “Heartless” was a hit upon release, also enjoying success on the charts of other countries. On the Billboard Hot 100, it peaked at the penultimate spot.

“Run This Town” Jay-Z Ft. Kanye West & Rihanna (2009)

Upon release, “Run This Town” was lauded by fans. At the 2010 People’s Choice Awards, it took home the Favourite Music Collaboration award. The song also went on to win two Grammy Awards for Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. No I.D. produced the song alongside Ye, and co-wrote with Hov, Rihanna, and Jeff Bhasker. “Run This Town” is one of the most popular tracks in No I.D.’s discography. Beyond the United States, the track peaked atop the UK Singles Chart. It also performed well in other parts of Europe, as well as in Canada.

“Let Me Hold You” – Bow Wow Ft. Omarion (2005)

Perhaps his first major hit as a producer, No I.D. scored mainstream success with Bow Wow’s “Let Me Hold You.” The track, which featured Omarion, became a huge radio favorite in 2005, and through the 2000s. “Let Me Hold You” was written by Jermaine Dupri, No I.D., who also worked on the song’s production. “Let Me Hold You” was also met with critical praise, particularly for the two artists’ evolving sounds. Brenda Russell was also credited as a songwriter, as the song sampled Luther Vandross’ version of her song, “If Only For One Night.” The song eventually peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. It reached the summit on the Hot Rap Songs chart.

“Holy Grail” – Jay-Z Ft. Justin Timberlake (2013)

The Grammy-winning “Holy Grail” is widely considered one of the best rap songs of the 2010s. Jay-Z is joined by Justin Timberlake on the lauded track. At the beginning of the year, Timberlake had already featured Hov on another Grammy-winning track, “Suit & Tie.” Their second time around evidently proved to be yet another success. “Holy Grail” peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100, and finished the year as the 22nd most popular hit. No I.D. co-produced the song alongside The-Dream, Timbaland, and J-Roc.

Dr. Luke has worked with countless pop stars over the years including Avril Lavigne, Pink, Kesha, Doja Cat, Juicy J, and many more. Kesha famously sued Luke in 2014, accusing him of a litany of offenses. They included sexual assault and battery, sexual harassment, gender violence, civil harassment, violation of California’s laws against unfair business practices, infliction of emotional distress (both intentional and negligent), and negligent retention and supervision.

The credits for Metro Boomin continue a hot streak for the iconic producer who is also handling the soundtrack for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. For that effort, he’s worked with Don Toliver, Coi Leray, and more. The full tracklist drops on June 2nd, alongside the new Marvel film.

Kid Cudi Unveils “Entergalactic” Production Credits, Says He Doesn’t Want To Release Any More Albums

It could be the end of an era for Kid Cudi.

After the arrival of the Ohio native’s highly anticipated Entergalactic album, fans have been praising both Scott Mescudi’s musical work as well as the Netflix Original film that it was released alongside. While the rapper looks to be in a strong place creatively at the moment, he revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe that he’s actually considering walking away from his performance alter ego – for the time being, anyway.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – SEPTEMBER 28: Kid Cudi and Elsie Mescudi attend Netflix’s “Entergalactic” New York premiere at Paris Theater on September 28, 2022 in New York City. (Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images)

“The Kid Cudi stuff, I think I want to put it on the back burner and chill out with that. I think, I want to be done with it. I think, closing the chapter on Kid Cudi,” the 38-year-old shared when asked about his current plans for the future.

Mr. Rager then added, “I’ve made a lot of music, man. I’ve said a lot and I have other desires, I have other things I want to do. And I do not see me never making music, I’ll always f*ck around in the studio, or make something here and there. But, as far as getting in the studio and working on an album, and then going and touring it, I just don’t have it in me. I don’t have the desire.”

At this time in kid life, Mescudi is interested in putting more energy into his personal relationships, particularly the close bond he’s formed with his daughter as she’s gotten older. “We’ve been kicking in a lot lately and I’ve been having more time and it’s good, she’s growing up, our relationship is super tight. It’s what I always dreamed of,” the father of one revealed.

Without music as a primary focus in his life, Lowe was curious about how Cudi plans to channel his creative energy in the future. “I want to just write more TV shows, write more movies, produce more,” the rapper told the host.

“I just want to focus on Mad Solar Productions and just get that shit out a little bit more. And then, on the side, I got my clothing line that’s debuting in January, in Paris, during fashion week. So, I got those two things I’m really focused on and just designing and writing and that’s where I see myself headed.”
