Los Angeles-based rapper Ab-Soul has released a brand-new track, “Squeeze 1st 2.” The song showcases Soul’s introspective flow over a laid-back, mid-tempo beat, enriched by soulful horn arrangements. This marks his first solo offering since 2022’s critically acclaimed album Herbert, which ended his six-year hiatus.
Drake has been vocal about his support for Young Thug online and in raps, but now he seems to be detailing it a bit more.
Sharing a selfie on his Instagram Story, Drake alludes to putting some money on Young Thug’s RICO case: “I ain’t talking to talk man I really put [bread emoji] on the [briefcase emoji] 3 Jeff.”
After snatching several major wins in court and dodging other cases, 50 Cent has seemingly become music’s “Teflon Don.” Now, the “In Da Club” rapper is putting his legal streak on the line. Yesterday (October 10), 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) reportedly filed a new lawsuit.
According to TMZ, 50 Cent is suing TraxNYC (real name Maksud Trax Agadjani), a popular jeweler, for trademark infringement and violating his right of publicity. The suit, which could cost TraxNYC up to $5 million, isn’t about a purchase made by 50 Cent, but what the business owner is accused of doing to sell his glitzy inventory.
In the filing, 50 Cent alleged that Agadjani used his likeness to sell “knock-off” chains with pendants eerily similar to his famous cross piece. “Mr. Jackson takes the unauthorized use of his name and likeness for commercial purposes seriously,” said a representative for 50 Cent in a statement.
Across Agadjani’s Instagram page, he shared photos with 50 Cent and in other uploads tagging him, which the mogul’s legal team argued could lead potential patrons to assume he was connected to the brand.
In multiple posts, 50 Cent called out Agadjani. “Every now and then someone does something like this,” he wrote. “I don’t know why, but I do know I’m a need that by Monday.”
Then 50 Cent doubled down, writing: “This fool took my custom piece copied it, then posted this 7 hours ago using my likeness to sell them. He must don’t know how this works, if he talks to a lawyer they would tell him this is not good.”
Since the filing, Agadjani has attempted to make amends with 50 Cent. In a video uploaded to his Instagram page, he pleaded for 50 Cent to drop the suit. “Yo, 50, a cross is meant for forgiveness, redemption, forgiveness of sins,” he said. “Forgive, forget, let it go, brother.”
However, 50 Cent brushed it off, writing: “Let me think about it. Nah, you tried to play with me! You know the vibes by Monday.”
Last week saw Lil Durk announced Deep Thoughts, a new album that follows his 2023 LP Almost Healed. He shared the news alongside the new song “Monitoring Me,” and now he’s back with another. This time, he teams up with Hunxho on “Late Checkout.”
The tune sees Durk infatuated as he raps, “It ain’t nothin’ like the first day I put my lips on you / It ain’t nothin’ like the first date you let me kiss on you / Missionary is gettin’ scary when I lick on you / Strict the first night ’cause I tried to put the dick on you.”
Hunxho expresses a similar sentiment in his verse: “Oh, Lord, why it feel like I already know her? / Why it feel like she been ’round before I blowed up? / And I don’t fuck with n****s at all / So it’s like every time you roll up the only time I show love.”
This comes after Durk popped up on Hood Poet, the latest album from Polo G, this summer. Hunxho, meanwhile, embarked on The One Night Only Tour this past summer, which spanned from May to June.

Deep Thoughts is out 10/18 via Alamo. Find more information here.
Earlier this week, it was reported that 50 Cent filed a lawsuit against Maksud Agadjani and his corporation, TraxNYC. He accuses the jeweler of using his face and name to sell merchandise without permission. Fif alleges that Agadjani’s social media posts are misleading to customers, who may believe that he’s affiliated with him in some way. “Mr. Jackson takes the unauthorized use of his name and likeness for commercial purposes seriously,” a rep for 50 Cent told TMZ Hip Hop yesterday (October 10).
News of the lawsuit arrived just a few days after Agadjani showed off a cross resembling 50 Cent’s on Instagram. “50, thank you for the inspiration,” he said. “You’re a true gentleman. I’m sure you won’t mind.” At the time, the artist took to Agadjani’s comments section to issue a warning.
“This was a bad idea,” he wrote. “You will regret doing this I promise.” Agadjani fired back, asking 50 Cent, “Yo don’t you got better things to worry about?” Following the lawsuit reports, Agadjani appeared to have a change of heart and hopped on his Instagram Story to ask the mogul for forgiveness. “The cross is meant for forgiveness, redemption, forgiveness of sins,” he explained. “Forgive, forget. Let it go, brother.”
Unfortunately for him, however, it doesn’t look like 50 Cent went for it. He later shared a clip of Agadjani asking him to reconsider, making it clear that he doesn’t plan to. “Let me think about it,” he captioned the clip. “Nah you tried to play with me ! You know the vibes by Monday.” What do you think of 50 Cent suing a jeweler earlier this week for allegedly using his face and name to sell chains? What about him then shutting down the jeweler after he asked him to reconsider? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
On paper, Atlanta hip-hop duo EARTHGANG and T-Pain may not work out in some people’s eyes. However, if you really think about it, both acts are extremely versatile and can really fit anywhere you drop them in. Also, they have worked together now more than once, if you can believe that. Their first and most recent collaboration landed on Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot’s Mirrorland back in 2019. For those wanting to revisit that before checking out “Love You More,” it’s “Tequila.”
This track is actually leading things off for EARTHGANG, as it’s the first single from their next endeavor, PERFECT FANTASY. Unlike their last couple of releases (EPs), this will be a LP and fans aren’t going to have to wait too much longer for it. The Spillage Village affiliates announced the release date on their social media accounts at the top of October, saying, “PERFECT FANTASY ALBUM COMING 10/29 .” The album also looks to have its features laid out too, with Little Dragon, Snoop Dogg, Cochise, and Eric Bellinger being a few of them. “Love You More” is a pretty straightforward cute and sometimes raunchy pop/trap rap cut. T-Pain, one of the best chorus writers of this generation, does it again here with an earworm of a melody. Then, EARTHGANG tie it all together with some speedy verses about getting down with their special women.
“Love You More” – EARTHGANG, Spillage Village, & T-Pain
Quotable Lyrics:
I know this ain’t no competition (Yeah, yeah) Tell me ’bout your day, I wanna listen (Yeah) Hit the jackpot with you (Woah) Throw these racks out with you (Woah) Shot my shot, now I know I hit the score Bae, I cannot love you more and more and more and more and more, more, more
One of this fall’s most quickly anticipated album releases is, without a doubt, Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s upcoming collab album. It’s an OVO dream come true, especially after the decade-plus that both Toronto artists have spent crafting a sound together and displaying their chemistry. While we don’t have an official release date for it yet, the 6ix God teased at a fall drop, which might presumably carry over into the winter if that doesn’t manifest. But with how much he’s been hyping it up on social media, it feels like the record might be right around the corner.
For example, Drake recently posted an Instagram Reel of Toronto lit up at night as what seems like a Stake ad with a triple-dollar sign graphic, and it’s playing what sounds like a slightly slowed-down version of the PARTYNEXTDOOR P4 cut from this year, “N o C h i l l.” Of course, this isn’t a new song preview or anything like that, but it might hint at the sonic direction that the duo is aiming for this time around. Even though it doesn’t sound far off from their usual R&B fusions, it’s still exciting to hear what past work inspired them.
Either that, or this is just a glorified Stake ad that has nothing to do with this collab album. Regardless, folks can’t wait for it to come out. But there’s a lot more conversation going on around Drake right now, even when it comes to his next musical moves. “He just love doing this s**t,” Rod Wave recently said of whether or not he plans to take a step back from the game. “He love the game. Like Brady… He at home like ‘What the f**k I’m finna do without this s**t?’”
Meanwhile, there’s another Drake collab on the way – not an album, but rather a single with Chino Pacas titled “Modo Capone.” Hearing him cross over into the Latine market again could make for a pretty unique link-up. At the very least, we hope that The Boy sings Spanish better than he did on “Gently” if he’s actually going to go multilingual. Jokes aside, we’ll see what he has in store.
Diddy and his legal team got a lot of updates during his latest federal court hearing in New York on Thursday (October 10), whether it was a potential trial start date or other motions from them. The Bad Boy mogul wasn’t just accompanied by his attorneys, though, as all of his children (seemingly except for near-two-year-old Love) and his mother Janice reportedly attended the hearing in support of Sean Combs. TMZ obtained footage of them walking out of the courtroom hand in hand after their father’s (or son’s) hearing concluded. As such, it seems like the Combs family wants to present a united front.
However, other important updates during this court session didn’t make it clear whether or not Diddy succeeded in his third bail attempt, which would presumably reunite him with his family for at least some time. The judge stated that the court did not receive this third motion at the time of the hearing, so they were not able to rule on it. However, the next court date is reportedly in December, and it’s unclear whether the court will address this bail attempt before this date or exactly on it. Nevertheless, the court proposed a May 5, 2025 start date, and Combs’ lawyer Marc Agnifilo reportedly agreed.
Still, it’s unclear whether the court needs to confirm this start date for the Diddy trial or if their agreement already sets it in stone. Regardless, this federal case will develop as more civil allegations and accusations continue to emerge, such as recent claims from one of Cassie’s songwriters. Tiffany Red recently told ABC about an allegedly nasty phone call between the singer and Combs that she claims to have witnessed, as well as other alleged rifts.
Meanwhile, Diddy’s twin daughters D’Lila and Jessie, plus his mother Janice, reportedly paid him a jail visit recently. This means that, even if the third bail attempt doesn’t go through, it seems like the family will still have space to spend time together. Amid this federal case and slew of allegations, this must feel like some slight reprieve. We’ll see how else the Combs family reacts to all these allegations.
