On Friday (September 8), the West Coast rhymer celebrated his 36th birthday, and his baby mama was among those in attendance at his party. “’70s bday party for my baby daddy ,” the socialite wrote in a video posted on her IG Story earlier this weekend. She looked perfectly dressed for the occasion, covering her usually buzzed head with a platinum blonde afro. Rose showed off her famous curves in a brightly coloured dress, and she accessorized with huge hoop earrings.

In another clip posted online, Rose recorded Khalifa as his guests applauded him and another year of growth. “Happy Birthday old man @wizkhalifa ,” she wrote on that clip. Elsewhere at the function, there was plenty of music, dancing, and roller skating, all of which the man of the hour looked happy to be a part of. Seeing as his ex’s 40th birthday is coming up on October 21, we’re curious to see what sort of teasing he’ll have in store for her then.

Her relationship with Wiz Khalifa is obviously one of her most high-profile. The pair are bonded for life because of their son. DJ Khaled Opened Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Show And Brought 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, And More Surprise Guests

During Beyoncé’s Renaissance show tonight as the first of her Los Angeles dates at SoFi Stadium, she brought DJ Khaled as a special guest to entertain and energize the crowd before her set even started.

And he too had some surprises in store. During DJ Khaled’s set, he brought out even more famous faces, including 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Roddy Ricch, Coi Leray, Offset, and Lil Wayne, to perform with him.

DJ Khaled treated the audience to some of his biggest songs, including “All I Do Is Win.” Wiz Khalifa played “Young, Wild, & Free,” as the two sung along to the carefree track.

Fans attending Beyoncé’s SoFi Stadium show tomorrow (Sept. 2) will also get a chance to see DJ Khaled as an opening act — possibly with new and/or returning special guests to join him. He had first revealed the news through Instagram.

“I’m telling you now GET THERE AT 7 PM!” DJ Khaled captioned his post from earlier this afternoon. “Trust me! History in the making!”

Wiz Khalifa Makes Surprise Appearance at Morgan Wallen Concert in Pittsburgh

Country artist Morgan Wallen is known for pulling surprises on his fans (he recently shaved off his iconic mullet) and his Thursday night concert in Pittsburgh was no exception as the country singer mixed up genres a little bit at his show and brought out a surprise guest- Wiz Khalifa.

Wiz, a Pittsburgh native, has reportedly been a fan of Wallen’s for some time and has attended some of his concerts in the past as just a fan (taking obligatory post-show photos, obviously) and the two have become friends. On Thursday, the PNC Arena was already packed to its full 40,000-person capacity and going crazy during Wallen’s set when Khalifa appeared amidst flames onstage and started performing “Black and Yellow” with Wallen acting as sort of a hype man.

Wallen was in Pittsburgh as part of his “One Night at a Time Tour” while Wiz is preparing for the next leg of his own tour in September.

A few hours after sharing some highlights to his Instagram story, Wiz dropped a new single- “Oakland Originals,” a collab with Chevy Woods.

Jay Worthy, Wiz Khalifa & OHGEESY Team Up For New Single, “From The Jump”

Jay Worthy, Wiz Khalifa, and OHGEESY just came together to craft a club-ready West Coast banger with their new single “From The Jump.” While this is a pretty atypical collab considering all artists involved’s typical output, it’s a welcome and successful crossover. Moreover, each MC is able to fit the sunny and bounce-heavy beat with ease, as lengthy or small as their contributions may be. For example, Jay and Geesy come through with some elaborate verses that see them flexing and boasting about their possessions and greatness. On the other hand, Wiz takes over chorus duties, complimenting the instrumental well with his vocal melody and tone.

Furthermore, the beat contains some infectious piano leads, plucky bass, and crisp fast hi-hats to give it that West Coast flavor. However, this might not be the pallet you’re used to if you’re a Jay Worthy fan, although OHGEESY certainly floats on this with ease considering that it’s right up his sonic alley. Readers might know Worthy for his collaborations with the likes of Harry Fraud, on which he flexes his lyrical pen a little bit more. Still, there’s more than one way to make a great song, and it will be at the very least refreshing for you to hear him tackle this. If anything, it just sets up his success for more experimentation and lane-switching in the future.

On “Hype Me Up,” Khalifa rhymes about how others validating his awesomeness makes it easier to recognize in himself over production by TM88, E. Dan, C$D Sid, and WizzleGotBeats.

“I ain’t got a gun but their hands to the ceilin’ / I ain’t palm readin’ but I got ’em in their feelings, yeah,” the 35-year-old spits on his first verse. “Ain’t Vanilla Ice but I’m iced out, chillin’ / Was the good guy ’til they made me the villain,” he continues, reflecting on the public’s perception of him.
