Melle Mel Hits Back At Eminem’s “Realest” Diss Track: Stream

After hearing what Eminem said about him on Ez Mil’s “Realest” single, Melle Mel is finally hitting back. On Tuesday (August 8) afternoon, the hip-hop veteran chiefly shared his response to the Detroit native on YouTube. Beforehand, he shared a teaser with fans on Instagram to generate plenty of buzz. “No apologies, this ain’t a disclaimer / I’m the king of legend, the first hall of famer,” Mel firstly rhymes in the clip. “Makin’ diss tracks, I know you with that / Now everybody get ready for the kickback.” At the end of the brief clip, he asks Em, “Why you hurt?”

As HipHopDX points out, it was only a few months ago that Melle speculated that the 8 Mile actor has only been so successful due to his skin colour. “Hip Hop has been good to me, huh / But when they say that I’m only Top 5 ’cause I’m white, why would I be stunned?” Slim Shady recently rapped before name-dropping his nemesis directly. “I’ll be the last to toy with a juice head whose brain is half destroyed like a meteor hit it / Now with Melle Mel, he lost his ass to ‘roids.”

Melle Mel Has a Response for Slim Shady

Upon dropping his video this evening, Mel’s highly anticipated diss for the “Mockingbird” artist was revealed. Unfortunately, it’s left many listeners predicting that Eminem won’t even bother to respond. “Yo, check your man. Come look at your friend ‘cuz I think that Eminem is popping pills again,” he spits midway through the brief video above.

“I never thought it was possible to make a worse diss than Nick Cannon [did] to Em,” one person markedly wrote in the comments. “Today, I was proven wrong. Well done.” If you haven’t already heard Eminem’s initial diss aimed at Melle Mel, you can stream that at the link below. Which of the two rap legends do you think has better bars? Open Mike Eagle Drops “WFLD 32” With Video Dave, Eshu Tune & STILL RIFT

Open Mike Eagle has been a unique talent in the underground for years now, and his talents never fail to impress. Moreover, he just released a new single titled “WFLD 32” alongside Eshu Tune (better known as Hannibal Buress), as well as frequent rap collaborators Video Dave and STILL RIFT. Overall, this is quite a woozy, often comical, but nonetheless engaging piece of abstract-tinged hip-hop with a lot of sharp lines and descriptions. Most importantly, each MC comes through with their own mood and approach, whether it’s in lyrical or performance terms. In addition, the cut boasts production from Kenny Segal, who recently teamed up with billy woods for the excellent LP Maps.

Furthermore, the beat here is led by some ghostly and dusty piano key loops, enveloping the track in a hazy cloud. With warm and similarly lo-fi boom-bap drums with a slower tempo, it creates a languid but laidback atmosphere. Of course, sonic pallets like this mean that the lyrics take center stage, and the MCs here don’t slouch on that metric. Open Mike Eagle talks about his desire to be the best in the game and proves his chops with intricate rhyme schemes and clever turns of phrase. Eshu Tune brings some vivid and nostalgic bars, whereas Video Dave and STILL RIFT come through with some slightly more cold-blooded and rough deliveries that provide a nice contrast.

Meanwhile, this is an exciting track considering that Mike is following up his last album very soon. Apparently this is a single for Open Mike Eagle’s next project, another triumph of ghetto engineering, which is believed to come out in August of this year. As such, we can expect all the lyrical density, wit, charm, and soothing soundscapes that the Chicago-born MC is so skilled at delivering. If you haven’t heard “WFLD 32” yet, you can find it on your preferred streaming service and check out some standout bars below. Wiz Khalifa is a man with plenty of confidence – there’s no denying that. Still, on today’s New Music Friday (August 4) release, the “Taylor Gang” hitmaker made it clear that even he needs to hear words of affirmation from time to time. On “Hype Me Up,” Khalifa rhymes about how others validating his awesomeness makes it easier to recognize in himself over production by TM88, E. Dan, C$D Sid, and WizzleGotBeats.

“I ain’t got a gun but their hands to the ceilin’ / I ain’t palm readin’ but I got ’em in their feelings, yeah,” the 35-year-old spits on his first verse. “Ain’t Vanilla Ice but I’m iced out, chillin’ / Was the good guy ’til they made me the villain,” he continues, reflecting on the public’s perception of him.

PinkyDoll is coming under fire on social media for disciplining her son while live for one of her viral NPC streams. In one clip, she breaks character to tell her son to stop jumping on the sofa and threatens to send him to his room.

“No that boy is acting out,” one user on Twitter wrote. “And doesn’t get enough attention. To watch ur mom every day speak like a SIMS character to a screen that looks like its just her on it, is wild. And can definitely do something to a child. When The Neighborhood Talk shared the clips on Instagram, many users came to PinkyDoll’s defense. “Breaking News: Mom who works from home disciplines child while also working from home,” one commenter wrote. Another added: “Y’all aren’t concerned; y’all are JEALOUS she’s found a way to be successful for essentially doing nothing, so now y’all are trying to find a flaw to cancel’ her over. Sad!”

PinkyDoll recently addressed the hate she’s received online while speaking with The New York Times. “I don’t really care what people say about me,” PinkyDoll told the outlet. “If they want to think I am this or that, it’s fine with me. At the end of the day, I’m winning.” She also revealed that she earns “$7,000 a day” from a combination of OnlyFans, Instagram, and TikTok streams.

Blueface Reflects On His “House Arrest” In New Single: Stream

Blueface is obviously no stranger to controversy. Earlier this month he got the internet seriously riled up with his parenting techniques. At the time, the Californian shared a video of his 6-year-old son on Instagram. He accused the young boy of being “gay” for looking for snacks rather than hanging out with strippers. After the video went viral, Blue’s mother, Karlissa Saffold, spoke out in defense of her son. Still, it remained unclear why the rapper had nearly naked women at home with his kids.

Now that he’s dropped his “House Arrest” single, everything is beginning to add up. The soon-to-be father of three hired dancers to join him at home for a day of filming the track’s accompanying music video, which finds Blueface reflecting on how he’s been spending his days while stuck at home with an ankle monitor strapped to him at all times.

Blueface is Back with More New Music

As the video begins, we see the 26-year-old playing video games and smoking a blunt before pausing to plug his monitor in. As he spits his bars he’s joined by a group of curvaceous females who entertain him by doing the splits across the kitchen counter while bouncing their booties. Blueface’s baby mama, Jaidyn Alexis, was reportedly home as the visual was being filmed. She doesn’t make an appearance, however, it was just a few weeks ago that the mother of two dropped her own “Stewie” single under her co-parent’s MILF Music label.

YNW Melly Appears In Court As Double-Murder Trial Kicks Off: Where To Stream

After years of waiting behind bars, it’s officially time for YNW Melly’s double-murder trial. Things are finally kicking off today (June 12) in Broward County, Florida. As Miami New Times reports, the rapper is facing charges of killing two of his affiliates back in October 2018. YNW Sakchaser (born Anthony Williams) and YNW Juvy (Christopher Thomas Jr.) were reportedly shot at by Melly inside a gray Jeep Compass. Afterward, they were driven to the emergency room by his accomplice, Cortlen Henry.

The accused killer and his assistant assert that Sakchaser and Juvy were killed in a drive-by shooting. However, prosecutors in the case state that the forensic evidence shows the story was fabricated. Melly (real name Jamell Demons) turned himself in in February 2019. Police subsequently arrested him on capital murder charges. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old has vehemently denied the allegations against him in the years since. Attorneys have long attempted to free the “Murder On My Mind” artist as he sat behind bars awaiting trial to no avail.

Watch YNW Melly’s Trial Unfold Live from Broward County

From what we’ve seen from the courtroom so far today, the Florida native seems to be in good spirits, especially considering the recent update regarding the death penalty potentially looming over his head. While he temporarily had that sentence taken off the table ahead of trial, things took a dramatic turn earlier this month when it was confirmed Demons will be the first person tried under a new law making it easier than ever for a jury to make the fatal decision. Rather than securing a unanimous vote, they instead simply need to rule 8-4 in favour of ending Melly’s life.

Things are only just getting started in Broward County this morning, but there are sure to be plenty of noteworthy updates coming our way later this week. Tap into Law & Crime‘s live stream of the YNW Melly double-murder trial on YouTube above. For more information on the full investigation, check out our recent in-depth report at the link below.

Adin Ross Wants Lil Durk And NBA YoungBoy To “Talk Out Their Differences”

Streamer Adin Ross recently shared during a stream that he’d like to get Lil Durk and NBA YoungBoy together to squash their ongoing beef. He said, “I really want to do this because I think it’ll show we can put shit aside.” Later telling commenters, “don’t laugh it’s real.” Ross revealed, “I want to bring together Lil Durk and youngboy,” explaining that he wants “to have them come together and talk out their differences like men.” He quickly clarified his previous statement, adding, “I’m not saying you guys aren’t men by the way.” “You guys are both men, trust me,” he explained.

Ross continued, saying, “I was gonna say we could do it in person and shit, it would kind of just be too dangerous.” Adding, “If you guys came in Discord on the stream and you guys talked it out (…) it might be fun, who knows.” He told the rappers, “So let me know if you guys would like to do that shit, you know.” No Jumper later reposted the clip, revealing viewers’ feelings on the offer. Many feel as though the feud is too intense to be solved through a simple conversation.

Ross Thinks The Rappers Should Talk It Out

One viewer writes, “Their beef is too deep, they’re never gonna go back together, even though they made one song together, called My Side back in 2017.” They added, “even though their beef should’ve not occurred which is very odd because they never had issues prior to King Von passing away.” Another commenter simply wrote, “Ain’t ever seen somebody so stupid in my life.” The rappers’ feud surrounds the passing of Lil Durk’s mentee, King Von. He was shot during a incident involving YoungBoy’s partner Quando Rondo, leading to his 2020 death. The rappers have both released diss tracks, on top of various social media digs at eachother over the years.

DJ Akademiks recently stated during a stream that the beef between the two rappers “is squashed.” He said, “Durk and them don’t have beef no more.” Adding that he, “might have forgot to tell the public that.” It is unconfirmed whether the rappers have actually solved their issues with one another, or if this is simply speculation.

Lil Yachty & Kai Cenat Discuss DDG’s Diss Track

Lil Yachty was recently on Kai Cenat’s stream, where the two talked about a lot of different topics, some funnier than others. For example, the Let’s Start Here artist complained about Drake’s “annoying” toilets that apparently play a Tupac song whenever you open one. However, Lil Boat also took the chance to stroll down memory lane for a second, and remembered when DDG dissed him on the track “Big Boat.” Moreover, he also explained that he said he didn’t know who the YouTube rap star was (which prompted the diss) because he already knew of a group at his high school that went by the same name.

The record-breaking and award-winning streamer remarked that DDG is the type of person who will really capitalize on a successful endeavor. Not only that, but the “Minnesota” MC agreed, stating that he really respects and likes him as a businessman and hustler. Kai Cenat also asked Yachty how he felt when he saw it, and he said he felt “so confused.” Still, they made sure to give credit where credit was due when it came to DDG shaping his brand and feeding his fans.

DDG’s “Big Boat” Diss Track

Despite that initial beef, Lil Yachty and DDG would actually go on to release music together. For one, there’s the latter’s track “Rule #1” produced by OG Parker, which landed on Parker and DDG’s collaborative tape, Die 4 Respect. Even though he faced a lot of criticism and came up in quite a clout-chasing-heavy scene, the 25-year-old is still a relevant figure in the Internet world. Whether it’s for his collabs with other rappers or his continued (albeit sporadic) success on YouTube, he’s always got something cooking.

Back to the stream, though, Lil Yachty and Kai Cenat seemed to have a really good time, even as they talked about toilets. “Every bathroom in [Drake’s] house has heated seats,” Yachty revealed. “And every bathroom in his house, when you walk up to the toilet, it opens and starts playing 2Pac’s ‘Hit ‘Em Up.’ I swear to God! Every time it’s like, ‘Yeah, you fat muthaf*cka!’ It’s so annoying when you gotta take a s**t ’cause it keeps looping.” Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest on Lil Yachty, DDG, and Kai Cenat and check out the clip below.

Adin Ross Gets “Swatted” Multiple Times, LAPD Responds

Popular YouTuber and streamer Adin Ross got “swatted” multiple times recently, so much so that the LAPD responded. For those of you who don’t know, “swatting” refers to the practice of calling the police about a shooting or high-risk event that would prompt a SWAT team or law enforcement to arrive at a property. What makes these calls “swatting” is that they are completely false and only done to prank a content creator or celebrity. For example, Lil Wayne woke up one night to find police in his Miami mansion due to a false call.

In fact, this situation became so frequent for Ross that officials told TMZ they’d change responses to calls regarding him. Before sending patrol cars and helicopters, police will contact his security team first. Hopefully a revised confirmation method will result in the content creator being more at peace. However, following a Twitch streaming ban and multiple public controversies, that peace seems harder to find than ever. One instance of his reproached behavior is his continued support of Andrew Tate, whose misogynist views garnered much criticism online.

Adin Ross Gets Swatted Too Often For The LAPD’s Taste

Regardless, swatting is serious business and can even result in severe injury, punishment, or loss of life. Tragically, an innocent man passed away after he faced a swatting incident in his home. Reportedly, he fought with another player over a Call of Duty match and his opponent made the call to send police to his home. What’s more is that it’s affected multiple celebrities to varying degrees, whether it’s unearthed information or simply disturbing their well-being and sense of security. Still, at least in Adin Ross’s case, he still has quite the huge following despite these bumps in the road and controversies.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old’s antics and proximity to the rap world even resulted in a few conflicts and disses. For example, YoungBoy dissed the streamer after he allegedly liked Adin’s girlfriend’s Instagram picture and the YouTuber clapped back. “Tell that YouTuber or streamer, whatever he is,” YB rapped in a song snippet. “Stop playin’ with me, b***h / You ain’t man like that, know them gunnas layin’ with me, b***h / I ain’t got no Instagram, no social media, I wasn’t talkin’ to yo b***h / Ugly a**, y’all disgustin’, you n***as make me sick.” Regardless of that exchange, come back to HNHH for the latest on Adin Ross.

Kodak Black Makes “GTA V” Player Strip At Gunpoint On Stream

Rappers are just like the rest of us sometimes. After a hard day’s work, an award ceremony, or performance, sometimes they just want to get online and destress with some video games. Kodak Black recently did so in hilarious fashion while streaming GTA V with friends. Moreover, he tried the role-play mod on PC for the first time, which lets players assume specific roles like policemen and delivery workers, but still involved the typical Grand Theft Auto shenanigans. In fact, Kodak held a player at gunpoint and told him to strip, which made for a hilarious interaction.

“I don’t want them jeans, fam,” the “ZEZE” rapper demanded in the viral clip. “Okay, that boy butt naked. Take them boxers off, take them boxers off, homie. Let me see how big that d**k is, fam. Let me see if you’re a man, homie.” For what it’s worth, pretty sure that’s not a feature in the game yet, but it prompted some funny reactions from the game chat. Many shouted “pause” in response to the Florida rapper’s comments. Still, Yak laughed along with his colleagues, and for any gamers out there, it does take you back to those early days of random encounters through game chat. You’re probably just not used to a famous rapper holding you up in-game.

Kodak Black Wilds Out On GTA V

In fact, the crossovers between GTA and rap are quite interesting and come from many different levels of experience. For example, the game often includes tracks from prolific hip-hop gamers like Danny Brown in its soundtrack. However, when Dr. Dre appeared on GTA Online: The Contract with new music with Eminem, Anderson .Paak, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, the late Nipsey Hussle, Ty Dolla $ign, and Rick Ross, he wasn’t even a fan. “[Dre] had no idea what [Grand Theft Auto] was about because he’s not a gamer at all,” producer DJ Pooh expressed around its release. “He never played them. He was blown away [by] how deep you can get into the whole thing. He’s like, ‘Oh s**t!’”

Meanwhile, Eminem almost starred in a GTA movie back in 2001 after the release of Grand Theft Auto III. “[The agent] said: ‘Kirk, we’ve got Eminem to star, and it’s a Tony Scott film. $5 million on the nose. Are you interested?’” Kirk Ewing remarked, a friend of series creators Sam and Dan Houser. “And I phoned up Sam and I said: ‘Listen to this. They want Eminem in the Grand Theft Auto movie and Tony Scott to direct.’ And he said: ‘Not interested’ … They realized that the media franchise that they had was bigger than any movie that was going on at the time.” Regardless, the series is still one of the most iconic franchises and certainly video games of the past thirty years. Still, come back to HNHH for the latest funny gaming moments from hip-hop stars like Kodak Black.
