Rapper Wiz Khalifa has been going through it lately. He recently posted video of him recovering from a serious pelvic injury and he is currently on tour with rapper Snoop Dogg for the North American High School Reunion Tour. Last night Wiz tweeted that there was a robbery at his home while he was on stage performing.
Luckily for Wiz his security stopped what could have been a scary/fatal home invasion…
TMZ reports:
LAPD tells TMZ Hip Hop … 3 guys tried to get onto the property through a side gate around 6:38 PM — just as Wiz was in Michigan burning through live renditions of his classic songs for the High School Reunion Tour.
We’re told Wiz’s security at the house sprung into action, running out to the gate … where the 3 stooges spotted them and immediately turned to flee.
LAPD responded to the alarm, but the suspects had bolted by the time officers arrived. They filed an attempted burglary report, and opened the investigation.
Meanwhile, Wiz caught wind of the caper while at his concert venue, and noted the timing … pointing out he was actually on stage while it was going down.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are undoubtedly having a ball on their High School Reunion Tour. The pair — whose friendship has only solidified since their iconic 2011 collaboration “Young, Wild & Free” — kicked off the run earlier this month, and it’s stopping by many cities alongside Berner, Too Short, and Warren G, with special guest DJ Drama.

Wiz Khalifa headed back to his hometown to throw out the first pitch during a Pittsburgh Pirates game at PNC Park — as he was also gearing up for a performance stop on his High School Reunion Tour.
Oh, and he celebrated the honor by taking some shrooms before he stepped out at the ball game.

After he tossed the pitch, Khalifa uploaded some pics of weed and the shrooms. He also still managed to catch the rest of the game, as he shared another photo of his view from the stands, complete with some Cracker Jack and an apparent drink.

Throughout his career, Khalifa has praised his Pittsburgh roots. During a 2012 interview with MTV News (via HipHopDX), he pointed out that the city’s hip-hop scene had opened up “a whole new avenue” for kids being raised there.
“You really won’t get it if you’re not from there,” he said. “Just growing up in Pittsburgh and knowing different neighborhoods, having family there, and just loving it, it’s like no other place.”
“Pittsburgh, it’s just laid-back… Midwest almost on some country stuff,” he added.

Wiz Khalifa will forever go down in history as one of rap’s biggest smokers, but he’s also using his platform for the greater good. Most recently, the Taylor Gang CEO unveiled his newest visual titled “Peace and Love,” a single that was released earlier this year. The song is produced by TM88, his Crash Dummy producers, and ID Labs, with the video directed by Deathcats.
The first verse sees Wiz shouting out his 10-year-old, Sebastian. He spits, “My ten year old at home the only thing I spend about, and you ain’t gotta make a choice right now just feel it out. Make your worst your best day, rollin’ papers essay. Get this money, let’s save.”
The feel-good song is paired with an equally vibrant visual as you see Wiz strolling through the streets of Los Angeles enjoying the good life, chock full of beautiful women and fun surprises along the way. The chorus sees Wiz singing on the hook, reminding you to wave to your haters.

Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg kicked off his highly anticipated High School Reunion Tour in Vancouver, BC, alongside fellow rap artists Wiz Khalifa, Too $hort, Warren G, and Berner. The star-studded event at Rogers Arena celebrated Snoop Dogg’s illustrious 30-year career.
Fans were treated to an unforgettable performance as Snoop Dogg took the stage to perform hits from his iconic debut album, DOGGYSTYLE, including crowd favorites like “Gin and Juice” and “Who Am I”. The energy soared as he also delivered an electrifying rendition of “The Next Episode”.
Adding to the excitement, Snoop Dogg shared the spotlight with Wiz Khalifa for a special collaboration on “We Dem Boys” and welcomed The Lady of Rage for a guest performance of the classic track “Afro Puffs”.

Hip-hop’s biggest stars continue to sell their music catalog this week Wiz Khalifa is the newest to let go of a percentage of his catalog. After both Nelly and Logic sold portions (or their entire music catalog), the Pittsburgh rapper has officially sold the publishing rights to a portion of his music catalog to HarbourView Equity Partners– the same firm that Nelly entered a deal with on Wednesday.
Although Wiz’s earnings in the sale have not been publicized, it has been confirmed that hit songs of his such as “Black & Yellow” and “See You Again” are both included in the deal, as both are the only two songs in his career to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. In a statement attached to the press release, Khalifa spoke on his relationship with HarbourView Equity Partners’ founder Sherrese Clarke Soares and how much the agreement impacts his record label Taylor Gang.
“Sherrese and HarbourView truly understand the value of music and artistry,” he said. “We are excited to partner with them as they continue to build a dynamic media company that is in line with the values and goals we all have here at Taylor Gang.”
Soares also made a statement of her own celebrating Wiz’s talent.
“Wiz Khalifa has already made a profound impact on culture as a musician, executive, media visionary and creative force.” she said, “We celebrate his talent and creativity and are thrilled to welcome him and Taylor Gang to the HarbourView family today.”

Wiz Khalifa and Ty Dolla Sign are two artists who have been holding the music industry down for over a decade now. Even with his recent pelvis injury, the Taylor Gang artist isn’t looking to slow down anytime soon, sharing his See Ya mixtape earlier this month to remind us he’s still got it. To follow that, Khalifa returned on New Music Friday (June 30) to drop off his latest single, “You,” in collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign who recently announced a tour of his own.
This obviously isn’t the first time we’ve heard the West Coast-based duo link up on the track. “Sitting Pretty,” “Hope,” and “Something New” are all past fan favourites, not to mention “Or Nah” with The Weeknd and DJ Mustard. On “You,” the two lyricists call out a lover who has a talent for making themselves the centre of attention at every opportunity. “Say it loud / Said I should just fade out / But everything ain’t all about you,” Ty Dolla’s voice croons on the chorus.

For his part, Khalifa tries to charm his presumably pissed-off partner with compliments like, “How your waist so small with an a** so fat?” after finding his belongings thrown out in the streets. In our opinion it doesn’t top their past efforts, but still, “You” is a fun addition to any R&B party playlists you’ll be putting together over the coming months.

On Friday, June 23, Wiz Khalifa let his fans know what he’d been up to the last couple of days…and it doesn’t sound too fun. The 35-year-old rapper sent out a few Tweets letting the world know he suffered a small tear in the cartilage of his pelvis. While we know he practices martial arts, we’re not sure if his training is the reason for this latest physical setback. “Told the lady I ain’t need no help then proceeded to f*ck my back up,” Wiz said on social media. “This sh*t f*ckin hurts and pain medicine ain’t helping.”
Videos of Wiz Khalifa show him in black Calvin Klein boxer briefs and black kinesiology tape running up and down his lower back. Using two canes, he shows his fans that rehabilitation for this injury involves slowly walking to regain overall physical stability. He’s taking this injury seriously and cautiously, reportedly watching movies and applying remedies so that the swelling in his lower back goes down. Wiz Khalifa updated the masses on Saturday, showing himself walking faster than before. “Ima finna have super hips after this,” he said.

Fans have flooded social media, offering support from afar as the rapper continues to heal. The “Black and Yellow” star appreciated the love, helping fuel his recovery process. Wiz Khalifa got into professional fighting back in 2021. He invested in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) and became an advisor to the budding sports league. Again, we are not sure if his mixed martial arts training has anything to do with his pelvic cartilage tear. But one can speculate it might be a contributing factor.
This injury comes on the heels of a rare public appearance by Wiz alongside his ex-partner Amber Rose. The two co-parents were at their 10-year-old son Sebastian’s fourth-grade graduation. The ex-couple was married for a little over a year in 2013/2014 and shares joint custody of Sebastian. Wiz Khalifa’s current girlfriend, Aimee Aguilar, was also in attendance. For now, the rapper is subjugated to his bed, letting his pelvis and lower back heal so he can get back to doing what he loves.
