The throwback photos didn’t disappoint. Rather, it revealed that Mrs. Gaston has an hourglass figure too, and she isn’t afraid to flaunt it. Taken in 2021, one snapshot shows Spice and her mom in red and orange dresses, both sporting similar blonde hair and fair complexions. Both women stand with their behinds facing the camera, clearly showing off the curves they have to work with. Additionally, it makes it clear that that “Bikini Bottom” hitmaker had plenty of cake even before finding fame.

Ice Spice’s Mom Makes Her Internet Debut

According to Hot97, the Gaston family matriarch was only 17 when she gave birth to Spice, meaning she’s roughly 40 now seeing as her daughter turned 23 this year. Other images of her are beginning to pop up on Twitter, these ones giving a better look at her body in a pair of tight blue jeans, as well as one captured in a bright blue bikini. In past interviews, the New York native made it known that she takes after her mom’s baddie ways, but still, social media wasn’t expecting them to look this similar.

“I’m not the step dad I’m just the dad that stepped up,” one Twitter user quipped, shooting their shot with Spice’s mother. “What’s impressive is it took my brain a second to pick out which one was Ice Spice lol good for her mom,” someone else said, gaving Mrs. Gaston her flowers.

Earlier this morning, Chainz posted a lighthearted clap back of him informing his 12.3 Million followers of his son trolling him. He posted a photo of him and his son’s message threads showing an image circling his son’s stomach. In the message, he appears to respond using the laughter button. In recent years, the announcement of the NFL schedule has become an event unto itself. Teams relish the opportunity to hype and humor fans about their upcoming season. Furthermore, it’s a chance to energize younger viewers and fans by jumping on the latest trends and memes.

After numerous leaks and teases, the NFL schedule for 2023 was released at 8pm on May 11. Soon after, most teams revealed their individual schedules with pre-recorded videos. However, no all of these videos were made equal and we’re here to break down the best, and the worst, of the league’s 32 schedule announcements.

The Best Of The 2023 Schedule Announcements

The Chargers won the schedule announcement for the second year in a row. After debuting their reference-filled anime announcement in 2022, the Chargers ran it back with another anime announcement this year. As with 2022, the highlight of 2023 was the absolute shade thrown at one opponent. Last year it was a joke about not making a joke about the Browns. This year, it was putting up information about gambling addiction when revealing a game against the Lions.

Other notable announcements included DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart “eating the schedule” for the Colts. Meanwhile, the Broncos concluded their trilogy of The Office parodies, featuring Peyton Manning and The Office‘s Angela Kinsey. Elsewhere, the Jets tasked Geogussr god “Rainblot” to uncover their schedule while the 49ers employed the skills of rapper Locksmith.

The Worst Schedule Announcements of 2023

Let’s start with the Eagles and Cardinals. Neither team produced a schedule video this year, with both opting to produce a Twitter thread instead. The Eagles compared their opponents to cute dogs while the Cardinals went with Spotify tracks. Very tame, very boring. The Eagles turned it into a video but still, low-effort work.

The Commanders, Lions, and Buccaneers all did videos around the joke of “what if we AI-generated the schedule release” but unfortunately, it appears that AI doesn’t know what comedy is. Meanwhile, the Raiders did a video that looks exactly like the sort of thing that the head office forces its employees to make in order to look “cool”. As for the rest of the league, there were some videos that were fun enough but didn’t exactly wow you. Honorable mention goes to to Saints and Jaguars for making videos with the exact same premise of “here’s the guy who scripts the NFL”. Regardless, what was your favorite video? Dionne Warwick Joked That She Will Be Twitter’s New CEO After Elon Musk Announced He Is Stepping Down

Elon Musk is reportedly stepping down as CEO of Twitter. While many Twitter users were elated over the news, the future of the social platform is still uncertain.

In a post shared to Twitter today, Musk revealed that he has lined up his replacement.

“Excited to announce that I’ve a new CEO for X/Twitter,” said Musk. “She will be starting in ~6 weeks! My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops.”

At the time, Musk had not yet named the woman who will be taking on the role, however, one Twitter favorite has teased that she, herself, will step in after Musk. Singer Dionne Warwick revealed, seemingly as a joke, that she will be Twitter’s new CEO.

“I am excited to officially take on the role as CEO of Twitter,” said Warwick. “This has been in the works for months.”

Over the past few years, Warwick’s tweets have become a joy to users of the site, as she often expresses her thoughts on newer artists as she discovers them in real time.

However, she doesn’t seem to be much of a fan of Twitter, as she recently revealed she is now on a rival of the site, called Bluesky.

But don’t even think about asking her for an invitation to Bluesky.

“Stop asking me for invite codes,” she said in a recent tweet. “I wouldn’t even know where to find one and I do not intend on trying.”

Ukrainian And Russian Delegates Fight After Flag-Stealing Incident

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is firmly in its second year. At the time of writing, Ukrainian forces are successfully holding a frontline in the far-eastern regions of the nation. After initial gains early in the war, Russian forces are currently limited to the regions of Crimea, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia. However, fighting remains fierce, with Russian state media recently claiming Ukraine had launched a drone strike on the Kremlin. Ukraine denied the allegations, stating they only fought in their sovereign territory.

A key aspect of the way has been supplies. While foreign nations have been able to provide Ukraine with aid, it is still a dire situation for the nation’s 43.79 million inhabitants. Tangentially, there has also been the issue of what Ukraine supplies the world. Ukraine is a major grain exporter. The European Commission estimates that Ukraine accounts for 10% of the global wheat market, 15% of the global corn market, and 13% of the global barley market. They could be a global crisis in regard to grain supplies if exports from Ukraine were to falter.

Ukrainian And Russian Officials Clash At Grain Talks

To prevent said global grain crisis, talks have been underway to ensure the safe passage of Ukrainian agriculture exports. The proposed solution would allow Ukrainian exports to cross the Black Sea. The Black Sea nations are currently meeting in Turkey to find a solution before the current grain agreement expires on May 18. While the main talks are occurring in Istanbul, the related Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization Parliamentary Assembly is happening in Ankara. During the summit, Ukrainian delegates had loudly protested as Olga Timofeeva, Deputy Head of the Russian Delegation and Deputy Head of the State Duma, spoke.

It was here that a physical altercation occurred between a Ukrainian and Russian official. Oleksandr Marikovskyi, a Ukrainian parliamentary member and economist, was posing for a photo while holding the Ukrainian flag. Valery Stavitskiy, the secretary of the Russian delegation, approached Marikovskyi and grabbed the flag out of his hands. Marikovskyi proceeded to chase Stavitskiy across the room, striking him several in the head and body before recovering the flag. Video of the altercation went public after being posted to Marikovskyi’s Facebook page. Additionally, the caption “Paws off our flag, paws off Ukraine…” was included along with the video. Beyond the viral fight, talks are expected to conclude positively next week.

Brian McKnight recently caught a lot of heat online for something seemingly innocuous: celebrating his daughter-in-law’s birthday. However, what got people mad is how, for years now, reports have come out that McKnight forgot about his four biological children. After social media riled against him for what many found to be an insensitive post, the R&B/soul singer finally addressed his viral backlash. For one, he posted various pictures of him and his kids over the years, which he believes disproves these criticisms. Also, he said that there’s always another side to the story, albeit one that he hasn’t shared often.

“Not sure how these posts that have been sitting here this whole time were left out of the false narrative that is trending,” Brian McKnight wrote on Instagram. “Abandonement? There’s always more to every story. Stay tuned.” Furthermore, he also included the captions for these family pictures with his kids. For example, one read “Throw back to our wedding day with my sons happiest day of my life.” Another, this time from McKnight’s wife, contained the following message: “My husband my sons and daughter on the most beautiful day of our lives.”
