Bobbi Althoff & Saweetie Seemingly Tease An Interview Together

Thanks to a recent social media tease in which Saweetie and Bobbi Althoff put together some awkward dance moves in front of a pool to the former’s new anticipated single, a lot of folks think that they could have an interview on the way. Moreover, it would follow a lot of the usual hype-up for an Althoff sit-down, and the link-up seems a little too out of the blue to not involve something grander. Still, maybe they are just really getting along and wanted to show themselves having some fun online, and that wouldn’t be a bad thing at all. We’ll see if there are similar talking points or contentious moments that result of this hypothetical conversation like the ones that have came up in the past.

Furthermore, Bobbi Althoff’s interviews lean towards slight awkwardness in the public eye given her comedic style, and as of late, they inspired a lot more debate such as her viral “I’m not a musician” moment with Sukihana. Perhaps a convo with Saweetie will hold another miscommunication instance like this, although we’re sure that it would still be an entertaining one to witness even if it’s a completely normal and chilled-out sit-down. But for all our theorizing, there’s no official announcement. So we’ll see what pans out in the near future.

In fact, for Saweetie in particular, she has a lot that she could talk about and address. For one, there’s the aforementioned teased track that’s apparently titled “Nani” that should be coming out very soon. But on a more tantalizing and scandalous note, the Los Angeles MC also came up in the beef between her ex Quavo and Chris Brown, who claimed that he slept with her while they were still together. It seems like she’s had more to chastise the former Migo for than Breezy, but we’ll see if this stays the same or if she has some extra bars on her next song.

Meanwhile, do you think this interview is actually happening or is this just a random social media post? Do you think the Althoff or the Icy Girl are going to talk about the rumors and statements other people made on their behalf these days? Whatever your theories are, let us know how you think they’ll respond to it down in the comments section below. Nas & DJ Premier Excite Fans With Another Possible Collab Album Tease

Arguably the greatest hip-hop album of all time, NasIllmatic, turns 30 years old tomorrow (Friday, April 19), and to start celebrating the occasion, it seems like the Queens legend is reminiscing on the moment with one of the people that helped make the album the golden standard that it is for rap music. Moreover, he shared an Instagram post on Wednesday (April 17) that featured a photo with DJ Premier in the ’90s, and a picture of them right now. “Then v.s Now. What if…” the “One Time 4 Your Mind” MC captioned the post, and those last two words really got fans thinking that their mythical collab album might still arrive.

Furthermore, for those unaware, a team-up for a full LP’s been on the cards for Esco and Preemo since at least 2007, if going off of recorded history. A Scratch interview saw them mention it, but nothing else has manifested since then other than occasional teases and promises that it will (or could) still happen. However, the most recent tease about this DJ Premier joint project came on Nas’ “30” off of his King’s Disease III album, which was ironically a collaborative effort with another producer, Hit-Boy. “Superhero material, rap star status / Premier album still might happen,” he spits on the song.

Nas Hints At DJ Premier Collab Album, Fans Think

Going back to Illmatic, which contains some of DJ Premier’s most legendary beats for Nas, the latter recently reflected on this time of his life in a recent IG post. “Grainy pictures for grainy times,” he captioned about the pictures in the post. “I had a dream I could get my favorite producers to produce on my debut album. I knew exactly what I wanted and how it should be. But I didn’t know anyone except for Paul, so I asked him would he connect me to them all. The cool soul brother that he is helped me line it up.

“On April 19th we smashed s**t,” the 50-year-old continued. “Even tho the album leaked months before the release date we still are apart of music history. Thank you Large Professor (Paul) and Dj Premier who drove into the projects to pick me up a time or two. Qtip , Pete Rock , and my man from The Bridge DJ LES, and my guy AZ who was just coming up himself. And thank you to everyone involved. Friday is the albums 30th. 2 The Listeners- ONE LOVE.” Do you think this collab album is ever coming out? Let us know in the comments and stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Nas and DJ Premier.

The Alchemist Teases J. Cole Collab

One of the best Twitter pastimes for any hip-hop head is whenever The Alchemist hosts open Q&As with fans on the platform. Not only does he get pretty funny with a lot of his responses, but he could actually manifest some big collaborations. For example, the producer linked up with Kid Cudi after tweeting at each other about a potential joint album. As such, his most recent response as a part of these fan back-and-forths has Dreamville stans particularly hyped. On Saturday (February 24), the California legend responded to a fan asking about a J. Cole collab with zipped-up mouth emojis.

As such, it stands to reason that he can’t say too much yet, but that they’re probably working on something together as we speak. Fans wonder whether The Alchemist will provide production on J. Cole highly anticipated upcoming album, The Fall Off, or perhaps another team-up. After all, when the former produced and the latter featured on Benny The Butcher’s “Johnny P’s Caddy,” they all crafted one of the best hip-hop songs of the decade so far. Given that Benny and Cole have a really tight relationship following this, it’s likely that Uncle Al also has a lot of love for the North Carolina MC.

J. Cole Collab Might Be On The Way, The Alchemist Suggests

Of course, this also follows J. Cole’s own teases and build-up to The Fall Off while on his tour with Drake, which he ramped up recently. Furthermore, if you didn’t catch it, he dropped a Smack DVD-style vlog including studio sessions, a new song tease, and some other antics. As such, fans can’t wait for the “Kevin’s Heart” lyricist to provide even more details and information about his next moves, but they’ll be patient for them. After all, he’s one of the few MCs today that can prove his dominance through guest verses and longevity without having to drop every year.

Meanwhile, as for the Alfredo producer, a new leak surfaced of a collaboration between him, Kanye West, and Freddie Gibbs. Unsurprisingly, fans are loving how it sounds, and they hope they’ll get to hear it in some form in the future. But with this new tease in mind, they won’t have to wait long either way for some great new music. For the latest news and updates on The Alchemist and J. Cole, log back into HNHH.

Adin Ross Teases Playboi Carti Reunion Stream… Again

Adin Ross has had a streak of bad luck as of late when it comes to his Kick livestreams with rappers, one that might see brighter days ahead. Moreover, the most notable of these recent instances is his contentious and frankly tough to watch gambling stream with 21 Savage. In it, the rapper apparently played with marked cards, which Ross noticed halfway through and led to an awkward moment where 21 questioned how this happened in the first place. Since then, apparently everything’s resolved and they were able to even their mismatched bets, but the Florida native faces some other challenges for his platform.

Furthermore, Playboi Carti agreed to stream with him after the Grammys, but only showed up for ten minutes due to alleged discrepancies over payment. It was a pretty disappointing moment not just for Adin Ross fans, but for vamps who were looking forward to a more fleshed-out media appearance from their king. Alas, he mostly just stood around in the dark, and we honestly don’t know what else fans might’ve expected from it. Overall, it caused a lot of clowning online for both parties, and it puts into question what their true motives, expectations, and goals are with this link-up.

Adin Ross Teases Playboi Carti Stream Part Two: Watch

However, Adin Ross returned to stream this week, and once again teased that a part two to the Playboi Carti collaboration would come soon. “Carti part two, me and Carti texted that,” he claimed to his viewers. “Guys, Ye is doing a bunch of events right now. I’m pretty sure after the album comes out and stuff -– ’cause Carti obviously has to attend to that s**t, right? I’m pretty sure. A bunch of artists are gonna probably go to his event. So y’all gotta understand, after that, Carti part two. He texted me today. I was like, ‘Yo, bro, we gotta make this s**t right for the vamps, for my community, for everyone, the world.’ He’s like, ‘It’s all love, bro, I swear. Let’s do it, let’s lock in.’ He’s texting back and telling me he wants to do it and run it.

Extended Remarks

“I’m following up with Carti every day,” he added. “So if it doesn’t happen, it’s not gonna fall on me, it’s gonna fall on Carti. I’m following up with him every single day. To make sure that it doesn’t go back on me, yeah, I’m gonna be releasing all the proof. I don’t want the vamps against the AR loyals, we’re already like this! *crosses fingers* I follow up with him every day, every f***ing day. No, I’m trying to give the fans what they want, bro. Carti’s fans what they want. I got a list of questions I’m gonna ask him and everything.” For more on Playboi Carti and Adin Ross, stay logged into HNHH.

Jay-Z Releasing New Album In 2024, Director Hidji World Teases

Jay-Z shook the rap world when he released a collaboration with D’Angelo this year, but perhaps he’s not done. Moreover, director Hidji World -– who’s worked with A$AP Rocky, Metro Boomin, Future, and many more rap superstars -– recently teased a shoot he directed on Sunday (January 28) for a 2024 album from Hov. Of course, this is just speculative and largely based on the hopes of fans, as the New York legend himself hasn’t said anything. However, with a visual project on the cards labeled as a shoot for a project this year, we wouldn’t expect this to result in anything less than a ballistic listenership.

Furthermore, Jay-Z hasn’t dropped a full-length project since 2017’s excellent 4:44. Back when Gayle King interviewed him for CBS, he didn’t close the door on another album, but he did remark how it would have to be something really special for him to craft it and sink the necessary time into it. As such, perhaps the 54-year-old finally found that reason… or this is all just a troll to send folks wild online. These days, we can’t rule that out, and with a catalog and career as revered and successful as his, he doesn’t have anything else he owes us other than some social media spectacle.

Hidji World Teases Jay-Z Album In 2024

For the sake of Jay-Z fans (and the ears of any person who likes music), we hope we’re wrong about this probably being misdirection. Still, it begs the question: so what is Hidji World doing related to him that prompted him to tease this on his Instagram Story on Sunday? The “Can I Live” MC is busy collaborating with Moncler; what time does a billionaire have to make a new album, music video, or whatever else this is? We’ll probably find out in due time (after all, this has a 2024 expiration date), and when we do, even the smallest of career moves will surely excite fans.

Meanwhile, the rift between him and Dame Dash over Roc-A-Fella is still a raging battle, albeit a one-sided one. Jay’s got much more pressing problems to handle, and also a whole lot more success to find across his fields. But we can’t help but dream about a new album this year, as it’s what most people love him the most for. With that in mind, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Jay-Z.

Ice Spice Previews Music Video For Upcoming Single

Ice Spice is looking to kick off her 2024 in a big way, it seems. Recently, she took to social media to tease a music video or other promotional visual for an upcoming single, which presumably contains the infamous “fart” bar that the Internet went wild over earlier in the week. Moreover, the Bronx rapper was arguably 2023’s shining star when it comes to hip-hop, and it’s no surprise that she wants to heat things up even more this year. Of course, there’s no release information or anything like that yet, but there’s still a lot of anticipation and excitement for this single. After all, we got so much from the 24-year-old in the last 12 months that a two-month break feels like a two-year one.

Still, these new visuals aren’t just hinting at that, as no promo is safe from beef rumors that plague rap discussion. This time around, the speculative conversation is around Ice Spice and Latto, as many believe that the two have a feud going on. However, what’s funny is that the instances of “evidence” that people point to could just as easily be an attack as it could be a co-sign. For example, when the Atlanta artist recently previewed a snippet, she played Spice’s “Pretty Girl” music video on a TV in the background as she raps, “I just want a one-on-one, don’t know why she so nervous.” We’ll let you be the judge.

Ice Spice Teases New Visuals: Watch

Elsewhere, though, the “Bikini Bottom” MC is building many more bridges in the game than the ones she’s allegedly burning. Playboi Carti recently shouted her out on his new single “BACKR00MS” featuring Travis Scott, another highly anticipated artist poised to dominate the year. Ice Spice actually shouted the song out online, giving her blessing and provoking God’s wrath by making a Carti and Spice collab a possibility in fans’ heads. The Lord will never forgive us for this, the Gen Z-est temptation in music these days.

Meanwhile, we actually wouldn’t be surprised if RiotUSA’s dynamic duo partner takes it easy these days. She just celebrated her birthday, and might want to just enjoy life right now. So whenever these visuals for this song drop, we’ll know that Ice Spice is ready to play. For more news and the latest updates on her, stay posted on HNHH.

Conway The Machine & Swizz Beatz Have A Collab On The Way, Griselda Alum Shares

If you still caught up with hip-hop releases during the 2023 holiday season, you probably heard Conway The Machine’s newly released collaborative tape with Westside Gunn and The Alchemist, Hall & Nash 2. Moreover, you’ll be very pleased to know that he apparently doesn’t plan to slow down his prolific release schedule at all in 2024. Not only does the Drumwork label boss have his artists to push and support, but he’s also cooking up plenty of material on his own. During an Instagram Live session on Friday (December 29), he previewed a hopefully upcoming collaboration with none other than legendary Ruff Ryders (and beyond) producer Swizz Beatz.

Unfortunately, that snippet is pretty much all the information that we have about this cut: no title, no release date, and no project it’s set to appear on. Hopefully that changes soon as both artists think of what their next moves will be. The one and only Swizz Beatz, for example, recently shared that he has enough DMX material in the vault to craft a posthumous album. It’s unclear whether he’ll actually go through with it, though, as those releases tend to be pretty difficult, let alone controversial if done with the slightest disrespect or lack of care.

Conway The Machine Previews Swizz Beatz Collab: Listen

Other than Swizz Beatz and The Alchemist, Conway The Machine linked with the likes of Big Ghost Ltd., Wun Two, Conductor Williams, and many more beatsmiths for either single releases or full-length project team-ups. Of these, we’d highly recommend you check out the Williams-led CONDUCTOR MACHINE. With the Griselda-adjacent sound becoming so popular and imitated, there’s nothing like an OG pairing to refresh its quality. That’s exactly what this duo achieved over just a few tracks, and hopefully quality continues to trump quantity.

Meanwhile, Swizz recently joined Timbaland at the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards to announce that Verzuz is making a return. If the drumless/Griselda-affiliated camp were to participate, which two MCs of this style would you like to see face off in one of these battles? Let us know in the comments section down below. In addition, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Conway The Machine and Swizz Beatz.

Metro Boomin Teases New Music With Paul Wall

Time is money, and Metro Boomin sure knows how to make the most of it, especially when it involves potential collaborations with his favorites like Paul Wall. The producer didn’t waste a beat. Less than two hours after showering praise on the Texas rapper, Paul Wall, Metro took to social media to announce, “just sent @paulwallbaby some heaters.” The genesis of this musical rendezvous can be traced back to Metro’s genuine admiration for Wall’s 2005 collaboration with Kanye West and GLC, “Drive Slow.”

In a social media post that garnered immediate attention, Metro didn’t mince words, hailing the track as “one of my all-time favorite moments in music.” It’s a bold statement, but for a producer of Metro Boomin’s caliber, such declarations carry weight. Moreover, Metro shared a personal story transporting fans back to 2017. To the time when he first crossed paths with the H-town rapper. Reflecting on the encounter, Metro said, “Wall was 1 of the coolest guys you will ever meet.” It’s these genuine connections that often lay the foundation for groundbreaking collaborations in the hip-hop industry.

Metro Boomin Has Heat With Paul Wall

The speed at which Metro Boomin moved from expressing admiration to sending over “heaters” underscores the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the music industry. Wspecially in the realm of hip-hop. In an era where artists can connect instantly through social media, collaborations can materialize at the speed of a tweet. Metro hinted at the excitement and creative energy that arises when two influential minds in the game come together. However, when a producer of Metro Boomin’s stature sends “heaters” to a seasoned artist like Paul Wall, the anticipation among fans reaches a fever pitch. People are excited to hear what they can expect.

What kind of sonic fusion can we expect? Will it be a nostalgic nod to the past or a futuristic exploration of sound? The possibilities are as endless as the collaboration itself. Furthermore, fans eagerly await the unveiling of this musical collaboration. It’s a testament to the ever-evolving landscape of hip-hop, where artists from different generations and regions can seamlessly come together to create something fresh and innovative. Metro Boomin and Paul Wall are poised to break new ground. And the hip-hop world is watching and waiting for the magic they’re about to drop. Stay tuned, because when Metro and Paul link up, it’s bound to be nothing short of fire.

Future Teases Metro Boomin Collab Album Yet Again, Acknowledges Long Wait

One of the most anticipated projects of 2024 is hands-down Future and Metro Boomin’s long-awaited collaborative album. Although the two trap icons have an avalanche of material together, it’s going to be very exciting to see them team up for a full LP. Moreover, Hendrix recently took to his Instagram Story to repost a recall of one of his earlier tweets back in May of this year which teased the release. With that, and by saying that the “album [is] on the way,” he seemed to acknowledge that it’s been a long, long wait up until this point. However, given that Pluto is teasing this and not Metro, who usually takes up audience hype duties, this is a pretty promising “update.”

Of course, at this point, all we can really do is wait until it releases, as Future and Metro Boomin have had this in the cards for a while now. Still, recent rumors of bad blood within this camp might affect fan perception of this album, given the spicy narrative. As the producer and Drake are seemingly in a cold war, many folks have theorized how frequent and downright classic collaborators of both, those being the DS2 pioneer and 21 S*vage, are reacting to this. It’s a difficult position to be in, which puts the “truth” behind this speculation more in doubt.

Future Says Metro Boomin Collab Album Is Coming Soon

Other developments that fueled excitement for this album include Metro Boomin’s recent comments on his recording process with Future. Apparently, he doesn’t let him skip on any beats he brought to the table, emphasizing that even if he doesn’t like it at first, he at least has to try. It’s a very interesting revelation, but one that clearly leads to a lot of gems and amazing moments. For example, the beat on “I Serve the Base” off DS2 is forward-thinkingly distorted and aggressive, which wasn’t really the vibe that Fewtch was on during this era. Today, many fans might consider it one of that tape’s best highlights.

Meanwhile, this is what the St. Louis native had to say about his “Superhero” partner to Ebro Darden last year. “He’s one of the best artists to work with like that,” Metro expressed. “I feel like that’s why we get the results that we do because we don’t come in with any ego. He’s completely there, asking you what he should do and what you like. With some other people, sometimes you have to eat whatever s**t they give you that day. But with Pluto, he’s on the same s**t I’m on, and I tell him, ‘Let’s make the hardest s**t we can make,’ and he’s all in.” For more news and the latest updates on Metro Boomin and Future, stay up to date on HNHH.

Gunna Cooks Up Something Good In New Studio Pics

Gunna may have already dropped his comeback studio album in 2023, but don’t think he’s slowing his roll down anytime soon. Moreover, new pictures emerged of him in the studio, wearing the same dapper-as-ever fit that he donned for GQ‘s Men Of The Year event. While we didn’t get any snippets or other information that isn’t just the College Park, Georgia native’s presence in the booth, this should still be amping fans of his music up. After all, he had quite the dominant year with the viral success of his track “fukumean” and a massive narrative about his plea deal in the YSL RICO case. That conversation’s not over yet, but it’s clear that it bears no relevance in the development and interest in the Drip Season rapper’s career.

Furthermore, he also had plenty of singles and other material to fill out his 2023 run. For example, Gunna just dropped a new song with Turbo titled “Bachelor,” which might just be a loosie or an indicator of future projects to come. Either way, it’s nice to see that, at the very least, there’s a whole fanbase within the game that is eating this stuff up. It may not be the best or most contextually beneficial thing for many, but we can’t hate on an MC getting their bag.

Gunna’s New Studio Snaps: Take A Look

In fact, it’s also been great to see him expand his range, go outside of his comfort zone, and do a great job in the process. Gunna remixed Victor Thompson’s “This Year,” which saw him enter the Afrobeat genre as if he was already in it for years. Hopefully this isn’t the last surprisingly welcome change of pace that we get from him following the release of a Gift & a Curse. If the 30-year-old just sticks to his lane, his fanbase and appeal will only get him so far.

Meanwhile, amidst a host of RIAA certifications cementing that album’s commercial success, he has a lot to celebrate. Wunna’s definitely proved that he can work hard no matter what issues come his way. All that fans are waiting on is for him to, if everything goes well, continue this trend.
