Megan Thee Stallion Drops Flurry Of Bars On “I Think I Love Her Freestyle”

Megan Thee Stallion is looking to put her stamp on her self-proclaimed “Megan May” with a new freestyle called “I Think I Love Her.” This off-the-dome session was just uploaded on the Texas rapper’s various social media platforms. The track, standing at 1:43 sees her spit with great proficiency as she brags over the grimy guitar-backed instrumental. If the beat sounds familiar at all, that is because Gucci Mane made a song of the same name on his 2015 mixtape Wilt Chamberlain (Pt.5).

However, we talked about this Guwop classic much sooner. In fact, it was back in January of this year when Erica Banks, a fellow Texas femcee, spit some bars on “I Think I Love Em (Freestyle).” The remix did well for the “Buss It” rapper, and now its Megan’s turn. This aggressive cut is also a pretty big deal for the Hotties, as this is a long overdue return of #MeganMonday.

Listen To “I Think I Love Her Freestyle” By Megan Thee Stallion

This is a series she has been doing for quite some time and this is certainly a great way to revive it. “Every Monday they gon’ wait for the freestyle / Call me out once, you do not get a redial,” Megan raps. It is clear that Megan is looking to regain her throne at the top of the female rap game. That has been apparent ever since she dropped “Cobra” late last year, as well as her ruthless Nicki Minaj diss track “HISS” in February.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new freestyle “I Think I Love Her” by Megan Thee Stallion? Do you think she should continue to release more of these, why or why not? Are #MeganMondays going to a recurring thing in your opinion? Could you see her dropping her album or new single this Friday? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Drake Attempts To Set The Record Straight With “The Heart Part 6”

Drake had responded to Kendrick Lamar’s allegations about being a pedophile and having a secret daughter in his new diss track, “The Heart Part 6.” In doing so, he claimed he’s been feeding false information to the rapper’s camp to trick him into rhyming about those topics. Additionally, he alleged that Lamar is a victim of sexual abuse and blamed it for his fixation on calling Drake a pedophile.

“This Epstein angle was the sh*t I expected. TikTok videos you collected and dissected, instead of being on this direct sh*t. You rather grab your pen and misdirect sh*t,” Drake raps at one point in the song. Later, he adds: “Only f*ckin’ with Whitney’s, not Millie Bobby Brown’s, I’d never look twice at no teenager.”

Drake Fires Back At Kendrick Lamar With “The Heart Part 6”

At the end of the track, Drake gets more serious and reflects on the feud thus far. “I’m not gonna lie, this sh*t was some good exercise,” he admits. “It’s good to get out and get the pen working. You would be a worthy competitor if I was really a predator and you weren’t lying to every blogger and editor but it is what it is. You definitely got this sh*t burnt the f*ck out though. The one before the last one we finessed you into telling a story that doesn’t even exist. And then you go and drop the West Coast one and try and cover that up.”

Drake Hints At Kendrick Lamar Dropping Again

When Drake shared “The Heart Part 6” on Twitter, he teased that he already knows Lamar is dropping again later tonight. “And we know you’re dropping 6 mins after so instead of posting my address you have a lot to address,” he wrote. Regardless of the warning, Lamar has yet to follow up with any more songs. Be on the lookout for further updates on Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s feud on HotNewHipHop.

Mike Shabb & Boldy James Chomp Like “Big Piranhas” On New Single: Stream

Mike Shabb and Boldy James are here to remind people tuning into hip-hop this week for the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef that there’s much more to offer this week. Moreover, they just dropped an excellent new single, “Big Piranhas,” which is one of the more haunting and coolly confident rap tracks that you’ll hear this week. This also continues a prolific run of collaborations for Bo, including “Stories & Lessons” with Jay Exodus and “No Fighting” with Real Bad Man, Elcamino, and the Black Soprano Family. As for his Montréal partner on this cut, he is releasing an album very soon and also handles production here.

Furthermore, this beat’s combination of faint vocal samples, shrill synths, dramatic piano chords, and cavernous but tom-heavy percussion creates an immediately entrancing atmosphere. Given both Boldy James and Mike Shabbs’ prowess as MCs, it’s no wonder that they’re able to turn this instrumental bed into a place to deliver some sharp bars amid their gritty narrations of hardship. The “Live From The Roxy” spitter has a killer shoe brand stanza here, whereas Shabb provides sharp and vivid imagery like “Can’t even wrap his head around the fact he got a square face.” It might not be the most eventful song production-wise in its evolution, but there’s a lot of vivid penmanship here that will keep listeners engaged.

Maiya The Don Recruits Flo Milli For Remix Of Her Braggadocious 2023 Hit “Expensive”

Back in early 2023, Flo Milli tapped Maiya The Don for a remix of one of her early hits, “Conceited.” Now, the Mobile, Alabama rapper is returning the favor, by helping out the native New Yorker in the same capacity. The newcomer, who got her start in 2021, dropped her debut project in October of 2023, Hot Commodity. On it, Maiya The Don struck gold with “Expensive,” but now Flo Milli is in the fold for this remix.

“Expensive” is a song about flaunting wealth and everything that comes with. Both rappers have made tracks similar to this, so the energy is right in their wheelhouses. With this new version, there are hardly any changes instrumentally. Structurally though, Maiya The Don’s first verse is gone, and replaced with Flo’s toxic bars. “He wanna spoon me, treat me utensils / Don’t do what I say and that boy gettin’ canceled (He gone) / Got a bag? That mean you can spoil me.”

Listen To “Expensive” By Maiya The Don & Flo Milli

A second pre-chorus has also been thrown in, following Milli’s verse. “AP watch, I put it in their face / Yeah, tell a ho to get a taste.” It is also longer than Maiya’s pre-chorus, which still stays in the mix. All in all the chemistry is solid, and we can see more collabs out them.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single and remix, “Expensive” by Maiya The Don and Flo Milli? Do you think this was a necessary adjustment to add the Alabama rapper, why or why not? Is this one of her stronger offerings as of late? Do you still have Hot Commodity in your rotation? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Kendrick Lamar Unloads On Drake In “Not Like Us” Diss Track With Pedophile Accusations: Listen

Kendrick Lamar went back at Drake again on Saturday with a second straight diss track in under 24 hours. On his latest song, “Not Like Us,” Lamar teams up with DJ Mustard to call out several members of Drake’s OVO imprint while also labeling the Toronto rapper himself a “pedophile.” The night before Drake had dropped, “Family Matters,” which prompted an immediate response from Lamar in the form of “Meet The Grahams.”

In one of the more ear-catching moments from the newest song, Lamar raps: “They tell me Chubbs the only one that get your hand-me-downs / And Party at the party, playin’ with his nose now / And Baka got a weird case, why is he around? / Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles.”

Kendrick Lamar Goes Back To Back On Drake

When Lamar uploaded the song on YouTube, fans were shocked by the prolific output of diss tracks in the comments section. “This isn’t even beef anymore it’s just pure hatred,” one top comment reads. “3 diss tracks in 48 hours is crazy.” Another wrote: “Kendrick you were made for this my brother. Truly gifted! Blessings!!!” Fans aren’t the only ones impressed with the recent tracks. Rick Ross compared Lamar to Andre 3000 following the release of “Meet The Grahams,” which he says is the closest there is to the Outkast rapper being in a rap battle.

Lamar kicked off the feud with Drake following the release of his appearance on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” earlier this year. In the weeks that followed, Lamar and Drake traded several diss tracks back and forth. Drake has yet to respond to either “Meet The Grahams” or “Not Like Us.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Kendrick Lamar and Drake on HotNewHipHop.
