Drake Slimes Fan On “Big As The What?” Tour

Drake and J. Cole are currently traveling the United States on their It’s All A Blur tour expansion, Big As The What? Of course, fans are loving it, especially since it’s not every day that two of the greatest rappers of the past fifteen years decide to hit the road together. However, a lot of fans also wondered what extra antics or spectacles would accompany their solid performances, and they certainly weren’t disappointed by the results. Moreover, a video surfaced online on Friday (February 16) of the 6ix God using a massive bucket to slime a fan, referencing his For All The Dogs SZA collab, “Slime You Out.”

Not only that, but Drake also recently took some time to address his skeleton outfit for this tour, which many fans clowned on. “Everybody had jokes yesterday, asking why I wore the spine out here,” he told the crowd at his second Tampa show of the trek. “I wore the spine because most of these guys that I look in the eyes are spineless as f**k so I had to wear the whole backbone. Plus, we made that s**t out of the skeletons you got in your closet, so be careful who you talking to.”

Drake Drops A Bucket Of Slime On A Fan: Watch

Fortunately for fans, this tour isn’t the only way in which they can engage with new Drake content these days. In fact, he just released a new collab with Yeat, “As We Speak,” which serves as somewhat of a deluxe cut for the latter’s brand-new album, 2093. What’s more is that its distorted and industrial instrumental, mixing together a lot of woozy and grandiose aesthetics, might be the most unique beat that the Toronto MC has hopped on in recent memory. Some might say that it’s the most unorthodox sonic pallet of his entire career, but we’ll save that debate for your takes in the comments section down below.

Meanwhile, this is also an opportunity for the 37-year-old to give back, as he usually does on the road. He recently offered to pay for a fan’s surgery while onstage, which is one of his many acts of kindness as a performer. Hopefully the Big As The What? tour gives us many more amazing moments -– and a whole lot of slime. For more news and the latest updates on Drake, stay posted on HNHH.

Young Thug’s YSL Co-Founder Defines “Slime” In Court: Watch

Young Thug’s RICO trial is still underway, with YSL co-founder Trontavious Stephens recently being called to the stand. Stephens, who also goes by nicknames Tick and Slug, took a plea deal back in December of 2022. As part of the deal, he’s had to testify, and most fans can agree that it’s been a win for Young Thug’s defense.

Most recently, he was asked to define the term “slime” in court, though his definition may not be exactly what fans expected. According to him, it’s an acronym that stands for “Slug Love I Me Everything.” Social media users have had mixed reactions to the clip. While some think his definition makes a lot of sense, others are cracking jokes.

Slime Means “Slug Love I Me Everything,” Trontavious Stephens Claims

Earlier in the trial, Young Thug’s lawyer similarly made headlines for claiming that the title of the rapper’s track with Future and Gunna, “pushin P,” actually stands for “pushing positivity.” This resulted in countless memes, and even prompted an educational post from Thugger’s Instagram account in December. The post included definitions of several of his frequently used slang terms, such as opp and slime. According to the post, slime means “seeing lord in me everyday,” while opp means “overly positive pal.”

While plenty of fans approve of Stephens’ approach to his testimony, others have been critical, including Ralo. Earlier this month, he took to social media to reveal that he’d never testify like he is, particularly if it concerned one of his own childhood friends. “Man ain’t no way Shawty just got on that stand against his childhood friend,” he Tweeted. “I rather die ah thousand deaths before I do some sh*t like that.” What do you think of Young Thug’s ongoing RICO trial? What about YSL co-founder Trontavious Stephens defining “Slime” in court? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Kid Cudi Reveals His Next Acting Role Is A Dystopian Sci-Fi Horror Film

Kid Cudi is returning to acting with a new animated vehicle, Slime. The Cleveland musician is set to star in and produce the film about two individuals who set off on a quest to find a cure for the side effects of a medical trial. The film will serve as the directorial debut of Jeron Braxton, an animator best known for Baby Demon. The script is the work of Brian Ash, best known for The Boondocks.

Cudi is set to play Glenn, a lab worker kidnapped by protagonist Muna as she searches for a cure for the trial that she underwent and that Glenn was involved in. It has not been revealed at this time who will be voicing Muna. This year, Cudi won an Emmy for his work in the trippy Netflix special, Entergalatic. He also had a supporting role in the Disney+ series Crater. However, the series was controversially pulled by the streaming platform after just a few weeks.

Cudi Responds To Rich Paul’s Cleveland Comments

Elsewhere, Cudi took aim at Rich Paul in a recent tweet Paul had previously gone after Cudi for “not being embraced by the city of Cleveland“. “Ok so I just saw this and heres my thoughts: Rich Paul doesn’t know me. He doesn’t know my life. My mom lives in Cleveland and Ive been goin there on holidays and summer breaks for years. Mostly when im in Cleveland, its family time. I’m not throwin events in the city cuz its already too hot for me in the city. When im there I like the chill. Im not hangin at Cleveland clubs or in the streets or whatever the f-ck else u expect me to do. Oh I get it, was I suppose to catch a couple Browns or Cavs games? Im the most lowkey guy around. You aint suppose to see me brother. Thats number 1,” Cudi began.

However, Cudi wasn’t finished. “Number 2: I will say the city of Cleveland has embraced me over the years. So I disagree. Radio in Cleveland might not play my sh-t, but I had 20k people at Moon Man’s Landing in Cleveland last year. A success. And were doin it again too. Not only does the city embrace me, I make most people in that city and the state of Ohio proud. Everytime I record a record I mention the city. Thats all day. Everybody that listens to my music knows Im proud of where im from,” he concluded.

NBA YoungBoy Drops Surprise New Single & Music Video, “Slime Examination”: Stream

NBA YoungBoy is hand-down one of the most prolific rappers working right now, and to no one’s surprise, he’s still down to keep that work ethic up. Moreover, he just dropped a surprise new single and music video, “Slime Examination,” and it’s a doozy to say the least. The likely divisive track might be a single to the Baton Rouge MC’s upcoming fourth album of 2023, Decided 2, which will be a sequel to his previous 2018 project. Even if it’s not, the music video shows a good indication of where he’s at in his life right now: cars, some female friends, family, luxury within a closed circle. It’s exactly the kind of aspirational but also at-arms-length presentation that YB embodies.

However, you may be wondering why we predict that this will be a divisive track. That’s because YoungBoy’s vocals around the choruses and bridges is very shrill, perhaps the most strained that his voice has ever been up against a melody. Still, for all his online haters, you can’t deny that it isn’t at least a passionate performance from him. Lyrically, the 24-year-old talks about trying to find a balance between the streets, grief, his family, and his career. If you know his personal history and how he’s requesting a change in his house arrest due to his mental health, you know how hard the intersection of these topics hits.

NBA YoungBoy’s “Slime Examination”: Watch The Music Video

Meanwhile, the instrumental here is pretty basic for the “Heard Of Me” artist: sad guitar licks, dry trap rhythms, and an overall minimal atmosphere. It might not be the best beat ever, but for hardcore fans, his vocal performance might be enough to carry it over the edge and increase hype for Decided 2, which drops next week (November 10). On that note, if you haven’t heard “Slime Examination” yet, find it on YouTube, as it isn’t on traditional streaming services as of writing this article. Let us know what you think about it in the comments and peep some standout bars below. As always, log back into HNHH for more on YoungBoy and the latest great hip-hop each week.

Partyin’ with these hoes, I get holy, need to go to church for it,
Wanderin’ inside the hole, I ain’t had to use no cloak

N.O.R.E Is “Disgusted” By Gangs Using The Word “Slime”

There are many people who only know N.O.R.E as a podcast host and one-half of Drink Champs. However, his influence and his reach during his heyday in rap can’t be questioned. Records like “Super Thug” continue to ring off while projects such as Capone-N-Noreaga’s The War Report stand as a classic. However, N.O.R.E’s biggest impact came when he popularized the term “slime” on projects like 2002’s God’s Favorite. Since then, it has since been associated with Young Thug and YSL, which N.O.R.E isn’t happy about.

During a recent interview on Drink Champs with Joe Budden, N.O.R.E seemingly threw shade at Young Thug and other rappers who’ve turned “slime” into a gang term. Though he didn’t mention any specific individuals, he said that he never intended for it to be attached to street gangs. “This is what’s f*cked up about slang. People use that as a gang terminology. They say, ‘you slime.’ Then, you affiliated with a certain gang,” he explained during the podcast.

N.O.R.E Explains “Slime” Origin

Though N.O.R.E made it clear that he never created the term, he made it clear that he popularized it. “You n***as is bozos,” he continued. N.O.R.E said it was intended to be a term of endearment for his friends, one that he hoped would replace the N-word. “I’m gonna say this because – I did not invent the word slime… But I made it famous and it was always used to just be ‘slime,’” he said. “It was also kind of to replace the word ‘n***a.’ It was kind of positive,” he added.

Unfortunately, his intentions with the word muddled over time, and N.O.R.E couldn’t be anymore disappointed. “And now the way they use it – I’m disgusted,” he said as he referenced witnessing two young kids using the term as gang terminology. “I recently seen two young dudes and they was like, ‘Yo, slime!’ I watched him and I literally wanted to shoot them both if I was still in that era.” Ultimately, N.O.R.E feels upset at how the term became redefined these days, especially since his name is still attached to it.
