Fat Joe Says He’s Praying For Diddy Following House Raids

Fat Joe says he’s praying for Diddy and his family following the recent Homeland Security raids on his properties in Los Angeles and Miami. Speaking about the situation during an appearance on Hot 97 on Friday, Joe explained that he’s been friends with Diddy for decades and described the drama as a nightmare.

“What I can say in the most respectful way is, I don’t know all the details,” he said. “But I’ve been praying for him and his family. He’s my friend for 30 years. And so, I’m gonna just see what the outcome is, and I’m praying for the best thing for him, and his family, and everybody involved. So I’m not disrespecting nobody. I’m just praying for this whole situation — this whole nightmare — I’m praying that it goes away.”

Agents reportedly raided Diddy’s properties in connection to an investigation into alleged sex trafficking. Diddy’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, quickly came to his client’s defense with a statement after the house raids. “Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” he explained. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.” Check out Joe’s comments on the situation below.

Offset Defends His Relationship With Quavo: “Don’t Ever Try & Turn Us Against Each Other”

Offset is tired of people trying to pit him and his Migos partner, Quavo, against one another. Appearing on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, he discussed their relationship with hosts Gillie and Wallo.

“I don’t feel like I owe it to people to show how much me and bro love each other,” he explained. “We went through something. We don’t have to show you smiles on faces … so stop doing that. We aint on no sucker sh*t with each other. We both came in this sh*t together and we both knew that, we understood that, and we lost our brother. I still go through sh*t; I know bro go through sh*t, N****s love each other though at the end of the day. We men, we real brothers, and we cool with it, so be cool with it. Don’t ever try and turn us against each other. I hate that sh*t. At the end of the day, it ain’t your business.”

Offset previously referenced being on good terms with Quavo during an interview on The Breakfast Club in October. “That’s my brother at the end of the day,” he said at the time. “We good though, bro, we just linked up in Paris.” Following the death of Takeoff, Offset and Quavo reunited for an emotional performance at the BET Awards. “That was healing for the world and us,” he said after the show. 21 Savage Refuses To Describe Drake Friendship, Calls Doing So “Zesty As Hell”

21 Savage and Drake are two artists who have been working a lot with one another as of late. Overall, there is very good reason for this. Firstly, they are both at the top of their respective games. Secondly, they have a lot of common interests in terms of production choices and even subject matter. Last year, the two teamed up for the album Her Loss which proved to be a massive success. The album is up for a Grammy and fans are still bumping it. Moreover, the two went on an extremely successful tour together.

At this point, the two are good friends and that will stay true for quite some time. That said, you will not hear 21 describe this friendship, anytime soon. Recently, the artist was interviewed by Rolling Stone, which is where he was asked to talk about his relationship with Drizzy. 21’s response was very matter-of-fact, and quite frankly, a bit ridiculous. “I feel like describing male friendships is zesty as hell,” the artist said. It was a pretty wild thing to say, although some will always have that mentality.

Gender roles was something that was clearly on his mind during the interview. For instance, at one point he said: “Like in the argument, a man’s supposed to think more about what he say. I feel like a woman is supposed to cry, like, ‘Fuck this shit.’” Once again, this another statement that could very well come with some controversy. After all, gender roles and norms have been hotly debated over the last few years, especially. Only time will tell whether or not anyone is offended by the thoughts expressed in the interview.

2 Chainz Used To Be Lil Wayne’s Weed Dealer

During their recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne opened up about how they first began working together. According to Lil Wayne, they first met at a studio in Atlanta, and had great chemistry from the start. “I mean, once we linked up, we were friends from there,” he explained. “Just same type of attitude, cool, but I didn’t know he rapped at the time.”

While they weren’t yet connected through their music, they had come together through another one of their passions- weed. “Uh… Wayne wanted cannabis,” 2 Chainz revealed. Lil Wayne elaborated, “And so every time I would go to Atlanta and I wanted to speak about that one thing [marijuana], I would always call this guy [2 Chainz] to talk about that.”

Eventually, 2 Chainz let the cat out of the bag that he can rap, playing Lil Wayne the track “Duffle Bag Boy.” Right away, he was in. “The moment he said he rapped and the moment I heard it, we got to the studio, and I did this hook for the song, ‘Duffle Bag Boy.’ And the rest is history,” he explained. Clearly, the duo have come a long way since they first started collaborating, as they’re only weeks away from their follow-up to 2016’s ColleGrove.

The sequel, Welcome 2 ColleGrove, is slated for release on November 17. “Me and Wayne’s album drops next month. This is a full circle moment,” 2 Chainz announced during an interview in September. “It was built on a relationship. Wayne at the time, was the hottest artist in the world. Gucci Mane And T.I. Put Their Rivalry Behind Them At His Latest Show: Watch

The longstanding beef between Gucci Mane and T.I. has finally come to an end. This all went down last night (October 17) at Guwop’s show in Atlanta. It took place at The Tabernacle, according to HipHopDX. It was to recognize the release of his brand new album, Breath of Fresh Air which also came out yesterday. Gucci has not released a solo project since 2021, which is a fairly big deal considering his constant output. While most people might be a bit more familiar with his and Jeezy’s beef, T.I. has also not been seeing eye to eye with him either.

However, it seems that things are back to normal. Gucci brought out T.I. at one point during the show. The two embraced onstage by dapping each other up. This led right into Tip playing one of his classic hits, “24’s.” He got the crowd going as they sang most of the words. Gucci let him have the stage to himself for the performance.

Shortly after the song ends, both come in front of the crowd to publicly acknowledge things and bury the hatchet. It is hard to make out what they are saying but the two look to be at peace with each other. The arguing began back in 2012 with Gucci saying he started the the trap subgenre. T.I. responded in total disagreement saying that his ’03 album, Trap Muzik started it all. Gucci thanked his friend on his IG Story saying, “Much respect @Tip” with the chilly face emoji.

Lil Yachty recently discussed his friendship with Drake and how close the two are despite having very different lifestyles. He explained their relationship during an interview with Complex, last week. Yachty revealed that he enjoys staying in and making music, while Drake is more social. Despite the difference, they are still close friends.

“Me and him are kind of different when it comes to lifestyle,” Yachty said. “Like we’re really similar as people, but as far as life, we’re very different. Like, I don’t go out, he loves to go out, he loves to host people, he loves to party and I don’t like people that much.”

He continued: “And I record every day all day, where he kind of is very selective on his recording days as he has more of a life than I do. And, he is much more into actually living life as to where I am literally trying to record music every day. And I don’t know if I get that from him of like, ‘Oh, I should go live a life too,’ because I enjoy not living life, I enjoy making music. This is my fun. I hate going out. So, if anything, I just realized that you can be so similar to somebody yet so different at the same time.”

The comments come as Drake gears up for the release of his new album, For All The Dogs. While he’s kept many of the details close to his chest, he has confirmed that his longtime collaborator, Nicki Minaj, will appear on the project. Sources speaking with The US Sun shared this earlier in the week. They noted that there’s fear of Censori’s “brilliant” mind being put to waste. Nevertheless, it’s hard to deny that she and her beau can’t get enough of each other. They never shy away from packing on the PDA while out with other friends. As she navigates this major transitional period in her life, the model’s former circle has tried to get in touch with her. However, they’ve reportedly been iced out by Censori.

Fat Joe Credits Eminem For Keeping Him Away From Retirement

However, the artist has kept it going over the years. As it turns out, a big reason for that is none other than Eminem. While speaking on the Rap Radar podcast, Fat Joe revealed how he wanted to retire a few years ago. Fortunately, he was convinced not to by Em who randomly picked up the phone one day. The rapper was very surprised by the call, although it felt wonderful to receive. To this day, the rapper feels like he is indebted to Eminem in some way.

Drake Reflects On LeBron James Believing In Him When No One Else Would

Drake is easily one of the biggest artists in the world. Overall, his tour is making a whole lot of money. Moreover, there have been some exceptionally famous people making their way to his shows. On Monday night, LeBron James and his oldest son Bronny showed up to the party. Bronny and LeBron got to walk Drizzy to the stage, which must have been an incredible sight to see. After all, LeBron is easily the most famous person to get to do this thus far. If you live in Los Angeles, these things are probably to be expected at this point.

LeBron and Drake have been friends for a very long time now. The NBA superstar has always supported Drizzy and his music. Additionally, the Canadian artist has always made it a point to go watch Bron play. This mutual respect has lasted over a decade. On Monday, during the concert, Drake decided to pay homage to his friend. Below, you can see a speech in which he spoke about just how supportive of a guy LeBron really is. It was a truly great speech to hear, especially when you think of the history behind it.
