Cardi B Leaves Thai Fans In Tears: Watch

It looks like Cardi B really had some Thai fans feeling emotional. The “Up” rapper was performing at Rolling Loud Thailand on Thursday, April 13. Cardi performed to an insanely packed crowd of more than 30,000 people. It was her first time performing in the country. “THAILAND OWES ME NOTHING!!!” the rapper tweeted. “Thank you soooo much …..Either way you slice bottom line IM THE TOP B*TCH !!!!!!…..But question? Why this country soooooo hot ?”

The performance almost went off without a hitch. However, Cardi did experience a small wardrobe malfunction. In the midst of her set, the rapper paused the show after realizing she had ripped her outfit. After attempting to find something to cover herself with, Cardi decided the show must go on. If nothing else, it goes to show what an incredible performance she was putting on for her Thai fans. The set included all of her hits, and the crowd was deafeningly loud singing along to the lyrics. Some of her fans even posted videos of themselves crying during the set.

Bring A Bucket And A Mop

Cardi did warn you to bring a bucket and a mop, didn’t she? Clearly, one Thai fan forgot. In a video posted to social media, the fan films herself watching the show as tears roll down her face. Additional videos from the show depict Cardi at her best. The rapper strutted around the stage wearing a sparkly gold outfit hung with dozens of tassels. She gave it her all, and her Thai fans clearly appreciated her for it. The fan reaction is something you generally only see from diehard fans. As such, it’s becoming pretty clear that Cardi B has begun to carve out quite a legacy for herself in the industry.

In addition to selling Diamond and Platinum-certified records, Cardi is making sure she secures the bag. The rapper just celebrated selling 2 million cans of whip shots in a partnership with Starco Brands. “Boozy and beautiful since day one, and two million cans later, there is no slowing us down,” she said. “I love the fans supporting our brand — let’s keep this party going!” That wasn’t her only brand deal, however. She and Offset also released a McDonald’s meal earlier this year. Cardi has quite the schedule coming up, as well, as she has also been announced to headline the Hot 97 Summer Jam. What did you think of Cardi B’s performance at Rolling Loud Thailand? Will you be hitting up any of her shows this summer? Sound off in the comments!

Lil Pump Reveals Conversation With J. Cole: “You’re Actually Smart”

One of new-age hip-hop’s most interesting spats continues to develop itself into a respectful relationship in the public eye. Moreover, Lil Pump recently sat down with Complex for an interview, during which he detailed an interesting conversation with J. Cole. Between the Miami MC teasing a song whose chorus was “F**k J. Cole” and the Dreamville boss seemingly talking down on him on his album KOD, these two have some history together. However, that history is equally marked by their reconciliations. They spoke in a lengthy YouTube video together, bridging their artistic styles, and now Pump is back to talk about their link-ups.

“I don’t have no hate against him, I respect him, I was just trolling at the time,” Lil Pump remarked about his tussles with J. Cole on wax and public statements. “I met him, we had a long talk at Rolling Loud. We were talking for like a whole hour, just chopping it up. And he was like, ‘Damn, you’re actually smart! I thought you were gonna be fried out walking over here, falling, drugged out.’ And I was just having a regular conversation with him, just like we are now, and he was like, ‘Yo, you’re a smart kid. You just play dumb on the internet, but you know what you’re doing.’”

While many might see it as slightly condescending, it’s heartening to see Lil Pump take it in stride. The 22-year-old was presumably the subject of Cole’s “1985 (Intro to ‘The Fall Off’)” on his aforementioned 2018 album. “One day, them kids that’s listening gon’ grow up,” he rapped on the track. “And get too old for that s**t that made you blow up. Now your show’s lookin’ light cause they don’t show up, which unfortunately means the money slow up. Just remember what I told you when your s**t flop. In five years you gon’ be on ‘Love & Hip-Hop,’ n***a.”

To his credit, the “D Rose” rapper hasn’t appeared on any reality shows yet. In fact, he just dropped his tape Lil Pump 2 earlier this year, which contains much of his usual musical fare plus a few experimentations. Whether it’s for his trolling or for his divisive music, he’s still in the conversation for many fans. Also, this just goes to show that people can say what they want online, but respect from a fellow student of the game can go a long way. Regardless, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Lil Pump and J. Cole.

Cardi B Headlines Opening Night of Rolling Loud Thailand

Rolling Loud / @izzynuzzophoto

This weekend, people from all around Thailand will come together to celebrate Songkran, a joyous and reflective new year’s festival. The first-ever Rolling Loud festival to take place in Asia, Rolling Loud Thailand, has the ideal setting as the year begins. Fans from Asia will have the opportunity to witness their favorite rappers live at the festival, which ushers in a new era for the premier rap festival brand in the world.

Rolling Loud Thailand broke records as the biggest music festival ever held in the Land of Smiles after just one night of the three-day event. The first day of Rolling Loud Thailand, which took place at Legend Siam in the coastal city of Pattaya, featured the fusion of cultures that make this festival special. Cardi B finished the night’s performances on the OKX Stage with a string of classics that got the crowd singing along. Cardi wasn’t the only performer that day; Uzi Vert and Rae Sremmurd also offered incredible energy, while Ferg, Blueface, and Tana put on a show for the audience.

The first day of the festival featured a star-studded display for Asia’s prodigious rap talent, featuring performances by Malaysian veteran Joe Flizzow and multi-talented South Korean Bibi. Homegrown Thai artists like rap pioneer F.Hero and indie rap superstar UrboyTJ also shone on the Levi’s Stage.

As big names like Travis Scott, Chris Brown, Jessi, and Thaitanium take the stage over the rest of the weekend, there will be plenty more music and cross-cultural interaction.

Here Are The Rolling Loud Thailand Set Times For 2023

Rolling Loud might have canceled one of its many festivals this year, but the rest appear to be continuing on schedule. The next one is in Thailand with headliners Cardi B, Chris Brown, and Travis Scott, and kicks off this weekend in Pattaya City. In addition to presenting a lineup featuring many of the Rolling Loud regulars like Lil Uzi Vert, Rae Sremmurd, and Sky Mask The Slump God, the roster also highlights a slew of local artists such as F.Hero, as well as other Southeast Asian standouts like Yoon Mi-rae, Ramengvrl, and Teriyaki Boyz.

The festival shared the set times today on social media. The festivities will kick off on Thursday at 3 pm ICT, with K. Charles opening things up at 4 and Cardi B wrapping things up at 11:10. Friday, April 14, Hoosh gets opening honors at 4, while Chris Brown’s 10:55 headlining set will finish out the day. Finally, the Saturday lineup will begin 15 minutes earlier with Drownmili at 3:45, but finish at the same time with Travis Scott taking over at 10:55. You can see the full schedule below.

Although New Yorkers are going to miss out this year, there are still plenty of Rolling Loud options for those willing to travel. Fests still on the docket after Thailand include Portugal, Germany, and of course, Rolling Loud Miami, the festival’s hometown.

Lil Uzi Vert Eats Cockroach In Thailand

It seems like Lil Uzi Vert has been watching some old Odd Future videos recently and thought, “Why not?” Moreover, they uploaded a video to their social media of them eating a cockroach while out in Thailand. If you’re wondering why Uzi is overseas, they will perform during Rolling Loud Thailand on Thursday (April 13), the festival’s first iteration in the nation. Following a heap of headlining festival appearances, award show performances, and having one of the biggest songs of the past year, Uzi’s winning big with audiences. What’s more is that there’s even more substantial and exciting music on the horizon that should be getting here sooner rather than later.

To elaborate, DJ Drama recently revealed that the Philly MC’s upcoming album The Pink Tape is in its final stages. “It’s on the way,” the fellow Philly legend expressed while on Justin Credible’s podcast. “The Pink Tape– [Lil Uzi Vert] and Cannon have been super hard at work. They’re in the process of pretty much finalizing the final sequencing and tracklisting of the project but it’s pretty much done. You’ll be surprised. You’re gonna get some of [Just Wanna Rock] as well as some other pockets.”

How’s The Cockroach, Lil Uzi Vert?

In addition, Uzi’s antics extend far beyond what they’re eating. Most recently, they got a tattoo that takes up their entire forehead, which is still pretty wild and taboo for many audiences. Still, the 27-year-old has much bigger fish to fry when it comes to their public image. Between their suggestive social media posts, lyrics, and more body art, they find themselves often fighting back at claims that they’re a satanist. While Uzi denied these accusations, their eclectic and provocative style certainly doesn’t make those arguments easy to retort.

Regardless, Uzi’s on top of the world, and fans are more excited than ever to hear what’s next on The Pink Tape. In fact, the “Sanguine Paradise” rapper might have even more to gift to fans this year in the form of a teased world tour. Even though Uzi wearing a shirt from the supposed tour’s merch line is all we have to go by, that’s hard evidence for hardcore fans. As such, hopefully the Generation Now artist backs up their long-form project return with a return to the stage. For more updates on that and the latest on Lil Uzi Vert, check back in with HNHH.

Fan Selling Playboi Carti’s Chewed Gum From Rolling Loud For $40K

Hopefully this is one of those April Fool’s pranks that the perpetrator deletes the very next day. A fan is selling chewed gum that allegedly belonged to Playboi Carti at Rolling Loud for $40,353.67, a hilariously specific amount for a hilariously unbelievable product. To be fair, Carti shows are typically as wild as they can get, and so the image of the Whole Lotta Red star spitting gum on a fan isn’t totally incredulous. Still, many took the opportunity to clown the hustler- and clown the rapper’s fanbase as a whole. What’s more is that people also blasted the $14 shipping cost, as if it makes a significant dent in a $40K investment.

Furthermore, Playboi Carti’s recent set at Rolling Loud Miami included teases of new music coming soon. Not only that, but Lil Uzi Vert also teased that they might drop something together soon, which got a lot of fans incredibly hopeful. After all, their frequent collaborations and teased joint album captured the minds of many, yet never came at the apex of its speculation. Since then, both went on to do great things in their respective careers, and after drifting apart, they seem to have reconnected.

Playboi Carti’s Alleged Chewed Gum Up For Sale

However, the “Stop Breathing” MC is also facing a significant public reckoning at the moment, despite his lack of social media presence. For example, the hip-hop world expressed shock and conflicted feelings upon the news of his December arrest for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. After his ex Iggy Azalea further dug at his questionable behavior, fans were confused as to his future and what his side of the story is. Without a statement or acknowledgement (whose necessity is also debated), fans can only reckon with what police reports indicate and hold his music in that context.

Despite that controversy, hype and excitement for the next stage in Playboi Carti’s career is still strong. Moreover, he reportedly rented out all sessions in a Manhattan studio, which led fans to believe he’s fully in album mode. Given so many teases about it, only time will tell, but fans seem more ready than ever. If they weren’t, maybe that Rolling Loud attendee wouldn’t hold on to that old chewed piece of gum. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Playboi Carti.

Rolling Loud to Skip 2023 New York Show Due to ‘Logistical Factors’

rolling loud new york

There will not be a Rolling Loud New York. The festival hosts announce the New York edition of the touring Hip-Hop festival will not happen this year, citing “logistical factors” as the reason in a social media announcement.

“For the last few years, we’ve made some legendary moments happen in Queens. Sadly, due to logistical factors beyond our control, Rolling Loud will not return to New York in 2023. But don’t worry, this isn’t ‘goodbye,’ more like ‘see you later.’ We’ll be back in New York when the time is right. In the meantime, we invite all of our New York fans to meet us in Miami July 21-23 for our biggest, best festival of the year. Love you all! Rolling Loud forever!”

In addition to Miami, festivals are set for international locations like Germany, Portugal, and Thailand. Rolling Loud recently hosted hip-hop fans in Los Angeles.

Rolling Loud Will Not Return To New York In 2023

Bad news for East Coast festival goers and mosh pit frequenters. Rolling Loud announced on Friday (March 17) that it will not be returning to New York in 2023. Moreover, the massive hip-hop festival just wrapped up its run in Los Angeles and is looking forward to another July weekend in Miami. However, those who wanted to see the celebrations reach Queens again this year are not in luck. Still, their team did say that it’s not a final goodbye to the Big Apple as a festival destination, as it seems that logistical issues became too large to ignore.

“For the last few years, we’ve made some legendary moments happen in Queens,” the statement read. “We saw the beginning of the King Vamp era, Travis power through his full set through the pain, Carti and Uzi reuniting on stage, Nicki, 50 Cent, and A$AP Rocky putting on iconic headlining performances in their hometown, Juice WRLD’s final festival performance, and many, many more moments.

Rolling Loud New York Will Not Return This Year

Of course, the festival’s logistical issues in New York are well-documented and caused quite the controversy. Furthermore, the New York Police Department and the city banned various drill rappers from the area from performing at last year’s iteration. Not only did this anger the artist themselves, but it caused an uproar and major discussion in the culture. Even though festivals are hectic and potentially dangerous experiences, many wondered whether it was right to take such a stance.

Regardless, many incredible live performances at the recent Los Angeles festival should hold fans over from afar. Unfortunately for those close to Queens that looked forward to another run this year, it looks like it’ll be some time before they hit New York. However, Rolling Loud Miami is currently in pre-sale phases, so perhaps this is the year to head on down. Let us know whether you’re going in the comments and return to HNHH for the latest updates on your favorite festivals.
