Master P Talks Managing Meek Mill & Stepping Away When He Signed With Rick Ross
It’s been a full week for Master P. The No Limit mogul is back with another hot take, this time with talents who worked with him on differing projects. Both Fat Trel and Jess Hilarious revealed their stories with Percy Miller, much o the mogul’s dismay. There has been an indirect back-and-forth of sorts about each of their grievances, and as that settles, a new soundbite has Miller back in the viral spotlight.
Master P recently sat down with The Gauds Show, where he spoke about the days when he used to manage Meek Mill. Miller shared that he was a believer from the start, but P had to bow out when Meek didn’t take his advice. “I was Meek Mill’s manager. My and James, when he first started,” said Miller.
Master P Explains Leaving Meek’s Management Team
“So, let me tell you why I stopped,” he continued. “I knew that Meek was talented, at the beginning. We had that song. I was like, ‘Meek, you don’t need to sign with nobody.’ Meek was like, ‘I’m gonna sing with Ross.’ I had looked at the contract, and Ross, tell y’all from this day, Ross a good dude. But he ain’t have his business straight.”
“So, at that time—Ross got his sh*t together now. He a boss. But I’m sayin’, at that time you involvin’, I seen it,” Miller further shared. He advised Meek against inking the deal, but the Philadelphia rapper decided otherwise. “I had the crystal ball, but [Meek] ain’t want to listen. I told James, ‘Hey, it’s cool, you gon’ handle that.’ I ain’t never got mad at Meek. I just walked away from the deal ’cause if you don’t see what I see, I been there already.” The host noted that if Miller had stayed involved in that deal, he would have been blamed for any fallout.
Master P Says Meek Learned His Lesson
“But look what God did, he had to go find out on his own, and now, he’s in a better position. But I’m tellin’ you, I knew he was a boss from jump.” Check out the clip above and tell us where you think Meek Mill’s career would be if he kept Master P as a manager.
Chrisean Rock & Rick Ross Take A Photo, Blueface Says She Could “Never Be [His] Bitch”
After starting the year on a tumultuous note with her pregnancy announcement, Blueface and Chrisean Rock seemed to be doing better than ever in recent weeks. The pair have shared two collaborative singles, “Lit” and “Dear Rock,” as well as their accompanying music videos. Additionally, the 22-year-old has been stepping out for plenty of big events alongside her friends lately.
We firstly saw her attend Yung Miami’s star-studded birthday party. More recently, Rock joined rapper Rubi Rose for a day out at Super Bowl LVII in Arizona. Of course, countless celebrities were in attendance for the big game, whether to actually watch football or to witness Rihanna’s triumphant return to the stage. Another famous face in the building was Rick Ross. He obviously didn’t miss out on his opportunity to take a selfie with the Crazy In Love star.
At the same time that the big event was unfolding, Rose and her ex, DDG were feuding on social media. She subsequently leaked recent DMs from the Michigan native, which Blueface believes was Rock’s idea. The Baltimore-born entertainer has previously been known to expose controversial material online, and her partner clearly wouldn’t be surprised to see her falling back into old habits.
After venting about the ongoing drama, the “Thotiana” rapper came across the photo of Chrisean and Ross at the Super Bowl. While they don’t appear to be getting handsy or too close together in the image, the California native has since been lashing out at his on-again-off-again partner over the candid. “Could never be my bitch,” he wrote to her via iMessage after sending a screenshot of the troubling selfie.
“But I get it. You [new] to this shit fr so that typa shit excites you. It’s really none wrong with it, I’m just a different type n*gga [with] my bitch,” Blueface’s next message reads. “That’s [why] I told you long time ago you really don’t want that spot,” he went on, pointing out that he was hesitant to make Rock his official girlfriend because of the pressure that comes with it.
In her response, the “Rainy Days” artist clapped back, “What? He literally got a pic walking past. Idk why everyone tryna get a pic with me, I’m not in his face. He literally caught me off guard when I’m waiting for my car. [You] being weird bro, stfu. Like fr stop talking to me sideways.” Over on Twitter, the beef has only been continuing.
Across a series of tweets, Blueface exposes Rock by posting previously recorded clips of her ranting about friends. “She said Rubi Rose walk slow [past] every celebrity tryna get they attention ‘cuz she washed up [and] she boring fr,” he wrote in another post. “She just using her for a place to stay in AZ.” See more of what the controversial rapper had to say about Chrisean below, and check back later for more hip-hop news updates.

Rick Ross Invites Rod Wave To Kick It In Million-Dollar Super Bowl Skybox
In just a few days, millions of people will tune into the Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles—and with Rihanna taking over the halftime show, it’s a game no one wants to miss. Of those hoping to be watching from the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona is Rod Wave. He didn’t have a bit of shame as he joked about how expensive skyboxes were for the Super Bowl.
“Man, I know one of y’all Rap n*ggas, somebody tryin’ to go to the motherf*ckin’ Super Bowl,” he said in a video. “Skybox, n*gga is $1.2 million, n*gga. I don’t f*ck with these n*ggas, but if you wanna go half…” He then laughed at the suggestion and was joined by his team, who were in the background.

DJ Akademiks reposted Rod Wave’s clip, and it earned a response from Rick Ross. It’s expected that Rozay would enjoy the Super Bowl from one of the luxury suites, and he said that’s just where he’ll be. He invited Rod to join him and his team—an invitation that we can only assume was accepted without hesitation.
“Keep ya $ come to mine,” Ross commented. “And I got @wingstop in 26 person suite, great field view – Rozayyy.”The Wing Stop jokes poured in, but even so, not everyone gets a personal invitation from the Rap mogul. It also seems that Rick Ross will have a million-dollar view of Rihanna’s halftime performance.

JAY-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross & DJ Khaled Perform “GOD DID” At 2023 Grammys
Jay-Z Gave A Divine Performance Of ‘God Did’ With DJ Khaled At The 2023 Grammys
The week leading up to the Grammys is one of the most exciting in music, just for the sheer fun of speculating who will win and wondering what the performances will look like. But that still pales in comparison to actually watching the performances, when the nominated acts pull out all the stops. This year, in addition to a tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, the ceremony included a rare appearance by Jay-Z, who joined his collaborator DJ Khaled for a breathless performance of the song “God Did” from Khaled’s album of the same name.
Joined by Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, John Legend, and Giveon, the group performed outside the Staples Center — sorry, Crypto.com arena — at an opulently-laid dinner table.

They didn’t only perform the song; they were also nominated for Song Of The Year, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song, putting Jay in a tie for most-nominated artist of all time. His only competition? Why, his wife Beyoncé, of course. They both had 88 nominations total, although Beyoncé had more nominations this year with nine — and the opportunity to become the most-awarded artist ever. She accomplished it thanks to winning won Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Break My Soul” and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Plastic Off The Sofa” ahead of the televised ceremony and Best Electronic/Dance Album.

Rick Ross Reveals His First Rap Name In The 4th Grade
Fans love a good “before they were famous” story, and this one arrives courtesy of Rick Ross. The Florida mogul has floated at the top of the Rap game for some time, but he comes from humble beginnings like other aspiring artists. Rozay sat down with The Crazy Sexy Cool Show and detailed his first Rap group in the fourth grade. The host wanted to know what the young rapping Ross’s name was.
He paused briefly before admitting, “It was a wack name. I don’t even want to say it.”

With a bit of coaxing, Ross decided to tell the world. That is before showing off a tattoo with his previous moniker.
“It’s Willow,” he said apprehensively. “And where that came from was, it was a film with the short, fat dude. And, you know, everybody know me as ‘Will,’ and they was like, ‘Yo, you Willow.’”
Ross was referencing the 1988 classic fantasy film Willow starring Warwick Davis. “I was like, ‘Yo, that’s wack,” Ross added.

Rick Ross Has Never Driven In A Tesla Because He Fears It Will Automatically Drive Him To The Police
Rick Ross may love to live the flashy lifestyle, with large mansions and luxury vehicles. But there is one luxury vehicle he refuses to set foot in. In a since-expired Instagram Story (per XXL), Ross revealed he has never ridden in a Tesla. His reason: He believes the vehicle may bring him to the feds.
Ross said to someone off camera
“I won’t say I’ll never have a smart car, but I’ve never ridden in a Tesla. Never. Never in my life. I’ve never ridden in a Tesla and the reason being is because I’ve always had in the back of my mind, the government could tap into the brain of the car. ‘OK, where’s Rick? He’s over there. Nah, bring him in for questioning.’ [Makes car sounds with mouth]… It’s leaving Wingstop. You pull up to the building and the agent walk out. ‘Hey, Rick.’”
He continued, “What, you think it can’t? So if you get in that muthaf*cka, that muthaf*cka lock the door and take you where it wanna go. You think you finna smoke a blunt? That b*tch will suck the air out that b*tch.”
It’s safe to say Ross will most likely be sticking with his Aston Martin.
