2023 MTV VMAs Red Carpet: Nicki Minaj, Yung Miami, Megan Thee Stallion & More

One of the biggest evenings in music went down without a hitch last night (September 12), as the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) were the talk of the industry. Hundreds of stars descended on the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, to celebrate the year’s highlights in all things music and pop culture. This year was particularly special for the Barbz, as Nicki Minaj hosted the star-studded event.

Of course, MTV made sure to make Minaj feel as welcome as possible, as the VMA logo was even changed to her favorite shade of pink. The performances were also hot topics of conversations across social media, which included the likes of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion as a duo, Doja Cat, Lil Wayne, Future, Metro Boomin, Nav, Swae Lee, and a Diddy Global Icon Medley, led by Sean Combs, himself. Additionally, the Hip Hop 50th Medley saw some of the genre’s greats take to the stage. Doug E. Fresh, LL Cool J, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, and DMC were just a few who joined for an epic celebration. Minaj also lent her talents to the show, where she even previewed a track set to be featured on her anticipated forthcoming album, Pink Friday 2.

Prior to the event kicking off, the red carpet was sizzling with our favorite entertainers’ hottest looks. They were dissected, praised, and critiqued online—some more than others. Although Ashanti was flying solo for the night, she made sure her boo Nelly was present, with a picture of the couple printed on her clutch purse. Doja’s web-like gown turned heads, and Offset’s hair clips were a cultural statement, while Weezy and Lil Uzi Vert kept things simple—yet expensive—with their ‘fits. Saweetie’s bone-accessory gown had social media calling her dress Flintstone’s Fashion, but it was Yung Miami’s red carpet display that stole the show. Chloe Looks Gorgeous And Glamorous In New Photo Dump

Chloe is no stranger to a gorgeous fit and she shared another one with fans yesterday. She shared 7 new photos from the recent Culture Creators brunch where she and her sister were honored. Alongside the pair, Busta Rhymes, MC Lyte and more were honored as black leaders in the entertainment industry. Chloe sported an earth tone cutout dress with blended green and brown fabrics weaving around each other.

The fit drew most of the attention from fans in the comments of Chloe’s Instagram post. “Girl you are NOT playing with us and I love it!!” one comment reads. “Gorgeous my love,” read another comment from singer Bree Runway. Many left gif responses highlighting just how great not only Chloe’s dress was, but also her hair. “Y’all loc versatility needs to be studied!!! Wow,” one of the top comments reads. “I ain’t never seen nobody eat braids up like this whewwww,” says another.

This isn’t even the only time Chloe’s had a fit check get people’s attention in recent weeks. Last week she stunned fans with a gorgeous Tina-Turner tributing outfit in celebration of Juneteenth. The pictures in the post and the caption both also paid tribute to the legendary singer. She made specific references to Turner’s songs and famous photoshoots. The fit was made for Chloe’s performance during CNN’s special Juneteenth show. As a part of the concert, she teamed up with Nelly to perform his classic duet “Dilemma.” Her performance attracted some attention for the wrong reasons after fans online claimed she was over-singing.

Earlier this year Chloe released her debut solo album In Pieces. The project followed two albums she made alongside her sister as the duo Chloe x Halle. After releasing the album she took off on her first-ever solo headlining tour to promote it. Despite her popularity, the album had an underwhelming performance both critically and commercially. Julia Fox’s Cannes Red Carpet Look May Be Her Most Salacious Yet

Now, the mother of one is unleashing more of her most eccentric looks overseas in France at Cannes Film Festival. She’s already stepped out for two separate functions. Both of them have seen her turning heads for reasons only Fox could. One of them was the highly anticipated premiere of The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp’s The Idol. For that, she covered her face in ghostly white makeup.

To contrast her pale complexion, Fox added black lipstick and donned a gown that, from afar, almost appears to be made out of plastic bags. It remains unclear exactly what the Uncut Gems starlet’s vision was. Nevertheless, she certainly had all eyes on at the Palais des Festivals today (May 22). Thankfully, her other Cannes outfit is getting far more praise online – and it’s so racy we can’t even share photos here.

On Sunday (May 21), the Italian entertainer stepped out for the Art of Elysium “Paradis” 25th-anniversary party. While her bottom half was covered by a flowing white maxiskirt trailing out in front of her, though her entire chest was on full display under a see-through breastplate. Maintaining some modesty, Fox used metallic nipple covers to hide her areolas, though from a distance it looks as though she’s left everything out in the open. Her hair was pulled back into a messy but elegant bun, ensuring that her midsection was the centre of attention.

Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Appear To Fight During “The Mother” Premiere Red Carpet: Watch

When news of their reunion after two decades apart was first announced, pop culture fanatics couldn’t have been happier for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. After a brief second engagement, they finally tied the knot in the summer of 2022, and have spent the time since searching for a place to call home while working on various projects separately and together. We’ve seen the embattled lovers make several public appearances so far this year, including at the Grammys, where Affleck looked less than enthused to be in attendance nearly every time the cameras caught him.

While he and Lopez were apparently aware of the memes circulating about them at the time, he didn’t hesitate to wear a very similar expression while attending the premiere of her latest movie, The Mother. On Wednesday (May 10) evening, the “On the Floor” songstress and her husband stepped out in their best-dressed, and while they certainly looked glamorous, we couldn’t help but notice a tense exchange taking place between them as photographers snapped away.

It remains unclear what upset Affleck, though he obviously was visibly uncomfortable while posing beside Lopez. As charismatic as ever, the Hustlers actress continued to laugh and smile away, even as the 50-year-old expressed what appeared to be discontent. After a few moments of awkwardness, however, he seemed to recover, carrying on like a gentleman for the rest of the evening.

Apart from the Grammys and The Mother premiere, DailyMail reports that the father of three was also seemingly angrily confronting his partner back in January. At the time, they were attending the first viewing of her Shotgun Wedding project, though it remains unclear what exactly caused the multi-talent to lash out this time. Chloe Bailey Shares Pics From “The Little Mermaid” Premiere

Chloe Bailey posted a series of pictures and videos on Instagram from the premiere of Disney’s Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid, Tuesday. Her sister, Halle, stars as Ariel in the highly-anticipated remake. For the event, organizers swapped out a traditional red carpet for blue to match the setting of the film.

“The flounder to her ariel,” Chloe captioned the post. Fans had many wholesome responses in the comments. “I love y’all’s sister bond. It’s the dopest most beautiful thing,” one wrote. Another commented Y’all’s relationship is priceless.” Many followers also asked Chloe to reveal the name of her hair stylist to no avail. “Y’all not gon give up the name of y’all’s hair lady for nothin,” one joked.

“I get chills,” Chloe Bailey told ET on the blue carpet of her sister’s performance. “To know that all of those beautiful girls will be able to see proper representation, whether you’re black or white or anything like that, you’ll be able to look at my sister and say ‘I can be anything I want to be no matter what the world tells me is acceptable. There could not be a more perfect Ariel.”

Outside of Chloe, many other stars were in attendance including John Stamos, Melissa McCarthy, Daveed Diggs, Javier Bardem, Awkwafina, Kelly Rowland, and more. Migos rapper Offset also brought his two daughters to the event.

The Little Mermaid is set to release later this month on May 26. The film was directed by Rob Marshall and features a cast composed of Halle Bailey, Jonah Hauer-King, Daveed Diggs, Awkwafina, Jacob Tremblay, Noma Dumezweni, Javier Bardem, and Melissa McCarthy. It will be the latest of several adaptations Disney has done in the live-action style. They also remade Mulan in 2020, The Lion King in 2019, and more.

Method Man Shows Love To GloRilla

While Method Man isn’t super tuned in to what’s hot in hip-hop music right now, he did reveal one artist that’s always playing in his household. Moreover, HipHopDX caught up with the Wu-Tang Clan legend while on the red carpet for the 2023 Grammy Awards. In a newly surfaced clip from the publication, Jeremy Hecht asked Mef what new artist he was listening to at the time, and his answer might surprise some fans. Furthermore, he expressed that he doesn’t listen to too many new things in hip-hop these days, especially as he became successful in other entertainment areas. However, he gave a big shoutout to Memphis’ own GloRilla, who he says is in heavy rotation in his home.

“I don’t really listen to much [of] today’s music,” Method Man replied to Hecht’s question. “But right now, who’s relevant in my household? Who they playing in my house? Glo.” In addition, he revealed that GloRilla apparently didn’t know who he was when they met. Still, she remained graceful, respectful, and kind during their interaction, which the Long Island legend appreciated. “That speaks volumes to her character. Love her.”

Of course, the Grammys red carpet also had other rap legends speak on the “Tomorrow 2” star, most notably Grandmaster Flash. HipHopDX actually got his very first reaction to her smash hit “F.N.F.,” as the Furious Five legend admitted that his children tried to get him to listen to her. As he heard the song, he bobbed his head along and took note of her blunt, boastful lyrics. “Okay GloRilla! This s**t sounds like fun too,” he said of the track. “She’s talking s**t and she’s having fun which is what Hip Hop should be. Word up! Okay, my kids… They were right.”

Meanwhile, all three artists formed part of the grand tribute to hip-hop at the awards ceremony, which celebrated the genre’s 50th anniversary. These remarks actually fit quite well within that context, as generations come together to celebrate each other’s greatness and importance in the game. After a lot of discussion in the 2010s decade about the old guard against the new, it’s great to see them in a more respectful and appreciative space. Already, however, the young boy is making is red carpet debut alongside his famous mother and her boyfriend, Darius Jackson. The couple stepped out for the closing night screening of her upcoming Big Boss visual album during the 2023 Atlanta Film Festival, both Leo and his father rocking all-black outfits for their first major public appearance together.

While the boys kept it casual with their looks, Palmer was as extra as ever in a cheetah-print jumpsuit that perfectly hugs her “new body.” As you may recall, the Jump In! starlet previously boasted on Instagram about how the months following pregnancy have seen major changes in her body. Specifically, she’s happy to see natural enhancements in her chest, hips, and booty area, which Palmer admits she lacked confidence in in the past.

The project was written and directed by Palmer herself, and will be exclusively available on KeyTV, YouTube, and Facebook on Saturday, the 13th.

Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson have also taken their little one to a Halos baseball game recently. Following that, she was honoured with a Vanguard Award from the Los Angeles LGBT Centre for her contributions to the queer community. Over the weekend, we got to see even more of it as she walked the red carpet with her mom at The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday (April 23).

The socialite markedly put her perfectly toned body on display in an ombre grey skirt and matching bandeau top. Elsewhere, her daughter was fully covered in an all-black ensemble. The duo obviously both sported stunning hairstyles for the occasion, Kardashian’s shiny raven-coloured locks sitting at chest length. West, for her part, rocked a stylish high ponytail with her adorable outfit. It came complete with side-swept bangs to expertly frame her face. Aside from turning heads with their looks, North is also cracking the internet up thanks to the attitude she gave while posing for photos last night.

Ice Spice & Taylor Swift Post Up On IG After The iHeartRadio Music Awards: Photos

Arguably one of the best parts of award shows is seeing which celebrities wind up interacting with one another amid all the celebrations. On Monday (March 27), several of our favourites from all across the music industry came together for the annual iHeartRadio ceremony, handing out prizes to the year’s best of the best in music. Among those in attendance for the festivities were PinkPantheress and her “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” collaborator Ice Spice, who was clearly starstruck over meeting Taylor Swift.

The Bronx Baddie and her foreign friend were tasked with handing out the award for Song of the Year, which ultimately went to the country-turned-popstar for “Anti-Hero.” While she walked the red carpet in an eye-catching black and white dress, Spice changed into an orange ensemble prior to carrying out her duties, markedly matching her vibrant eyeshadow to her gown’s colour. During their time on stage together, Swift and the rapper shared plenty of smiles and laughs, even turning around to seemingly compare the size of their booties at one point.

Speaking of bodacious behinds, Spice also showed hers off in an Instagram photo dump, kicking off with a not-so-subtle thirst trap of her using a bathroom counter to emphasize her cheeks. Beside her, we see the 23-year-old’s fuzzy purse – worth noting as fans often joke that she always seems to have her bag nearby, something the “Princess Diana” hitmaker says she learned from her time growing up in New York. In the following picture, she and PinkPantheress pose with Swift again, this snap seemingly captured behind the scenes of the iHeartRadio Awards.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an Ice Spice photo dump with more sultry inclusions, both of which chiefly show off her hourglass figure in her long, lace dress. Cardi B’s Red Dress Steals The Show At Vanity Fair Event

Cardi B just stunned onlookers at Vanity Fair’s post-Oscars party in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday (March 12). Moreover, she wore a beautiful red dress with matching lipstick and a stream behind her as she strode down the red carpet. Also, she paired the gown with what seem to be silver heels, plus a sheer see-through headpiece that covered her whole face. Overall, it was a beautiful look, and one that viewers unfortunately missed on Oscars night amid so many other celebrities. What’s more is that her husband Offset also appeared alongside her, wearing a simple but elegant black tuxedo.

Of course, the two are probably enjoying the success of their new McDonald’s meal and merchandising line. However, it hasn’t been all apple pies and Oreo McFlurry sweetness for the two new fast-food moguls. Many of the restaurant’s franchises refuse to promote the meal, as their managers believe Cardi and the former Migo don’t align with the company’s values. Still, the partnership’s brought both parties a lot of success and crossover attention, so they’re looking at the big picture over the minute details.

In other news, the Invasion Of Privacy MC also made headlines recently thanks to a seemingly squashed rap beef. While she didn’t do anything herself, the discussion came from fellow rapper BIA, who denied “switching up” on Cardi recently. Furthermore, she responded to people saying that she deleted her tweets praising Cardi when she was hanging out with Nicki Minaj. Those two have a significant beef, and so many accused BIA of taking a side by deleting her love for the “WAP” star.

“Keep it 100,” BIA began. “Sweetie, I didn’t switch up on anybody because I don’t know Cardi in real life. I’ve never met Cardi, we’ve never had a conversation. Like, I don’t have no issues with her, it’s all love, but I don’t know her.” Still, many fans didn’t buy it, although that could just be a general online thirst for beef. It’s unfortunate that they’re pitted against each other, but at least Cardi’s big red carpet smile and cheeky exclamation of “I’m so scared!” hints that she’s paying it no mind.
