Saweetie Targets Quavo, But Not Chris Brown: Fans React To Her Responses To Disses

Saweetie is causing some significant fan debate right now around her role in the beef between Chris Brown and Quavo. For those unaware, the most recent development between those artists was the latter’s “Over H*es & B***hes” diss against the former, which got mixed reactions from fans and outright dismissal from Brown himself. However, the Los Angeles femcee heated things up in a different way by posting a screenshot of an unopened DM that the former Migo sent her. What fans found contentious and scandalous, particularly for Huncho Jack, is that she is only targeting her former partner here and not the person that dragged her into this mess in the first place.

As such, a lot of folks think that what Chris Brown said about Saweetie cheating on Quavo with him could be true, although this is obviously just gossip still. There’s also her upcoming single to consider, something that she teased rewriting the bars for to perhaps address some of this. Regardless, fans still debated whether this timeline was warranted, whether the Georgia rapper deserves some primary criticism from the Icy Girl, and what her lack of response to Breezy says about the dynamic. Some are analyzing it from the rap beef perspective, and others are simply here for the relationship and cheating drama.

Saweetie Causes Fan Debate With Her Quavo Shade While Staying Silent On Chris Brown

Either way, this is definitely contributing to a lot of wild discussion and theorizing. One ironic part about all this is that Quavo and Chris Brown aren’t making back-and-forth claims about a single lady. Saweetie is very much in a relationship with YG at the moment, or at least, that’s what they’ve indicated in live performances and on social media following break-up rumors. As such, many wonder if he’ll have anything to say about all of this, or if he’s standing by his woman 100%.

More Fan Reactions

Meanwhile, many folks wonder what this beef could bring next, especially since the R&B star seems uninterested in a response. Nevertheless, who do you think is “winning” right now and is the “Richtivities” artist right in taking these approaches? In any case, give us your takes down in the comments section below. Also, log back into HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Chris Brown, Quavo, and Saweetie.

Saweetie Puts Quavo On Blast With Embarrassing DM

Quavo is having a rough week. The Migos rapper had to stand by while Chris Brown dropped the diss track “Weakest Link” to positive reception from fans. He clapped back with “Over Hoes & B*tches” on April 22, but it did not get the same love as Breezy’s. Some felt Quavo relied too heavily on the feature from the late Takeoff, while others thought the rapper failed to dig up any real dirt on Brown. It gets worse. The same day “Over Hoes & B*tches” dropped, Saweetie hopped on X (formerly Twitter) to disprove one of Quavo’s claims.

Saweetie has become a central figure in the Quavo versus Brown feud. While Karreuche Tran was previously the focus, due to the fact that she dated both artists, Saweetie has been referenced in both “Weakest Link” and “Over Hoes & B*tches.” In the former, Brown claimed to have slept with the rapper while she was still dating Quavo. In the latter, Quavo claims he doesn’t care. “I can take a model b*tch and make a Saweetie, n**ga,” he raps, with the implication being that she’s replaceable. It’s a less than stellar bar, and one that Saweetie was more than happy to upend.

Saweetie Shared Instagram Receipts With Fans

The rapper posted a screenshot of her Instagram DMs, and one of the messages left on read was from none other than Quavo. The entirety of the message is unclear, but the first couple words read: “Damn. We used to mean af to each…” Saweetie posted a withering caption with the screenshot, making it clear that she meant more to Quavo than he’s letting on. “Hopefully the model he turns into me replies,” she wrote. Saweetie and Quavo dated for three years before breaking up in March 2021.

Saweetie talked about their relationship during an appearance on Caresha Please. She skirted around the question of whether or not Quavo cheated on her, and ultimately chalked their split up to differences. “I thought we was gonna spend the rest of our lives together,” she admitted. “With him, I knew it was the one. It was different.” Ironically, the two rappers first connected when Quavo DM’d Saweetie on IG in 2018, which means this new DM drama brings things full circle. Like they say: all’s fair in love and war.

Kanye West Dubs Chris Brown A “God” Amidst Quavo Feud

Kanye West is an unpredictable guy. Fans can never predict what he’s going to do or say next, and his recent appearance on The Download podcast was a startling reminder. He claimed he would have sex with Michelle Obama, called J. Cole a “p**sy” and vowed to ruin Drake’s career. He did, however, take some time out to discuss artists he was a fan of, and felt deserved their fame. One of these artists was Chris Brown. At a seemingly random interval in the interview, West asserted that Brown was a “god” in the music industry.

The topic came about when Kanye West talked about restrictions within the music industry. He theorized that truly great artists have had a harder time breaking through due to the machinations of “middle men.” He even referenced his own verse on the song “Carnival,” which name drops Brown. “I’m the new Jesus, bitch,” West rapped. “I turn water to Crist, this for what they did to Chris. They can’t do sh*t with this.” In the emcee’s estimation, Brown is one of the aforementioned “greats” that deserves to thrive. “Chris is a god,” he asserted.

Kanye West Has Praised Brown For Decades

This is not the first time Kanye West has spoken in Brown’s defense. He asked fans to forgive the R&B singer shortly after he was charged with assaulting Rihanna in 2009. “Can’t we give Chris a break?” he asked during his VH1 Storytellers performance. “I know I make mistakes in life.” West also gifted Brown with a YEEZY truck in 2020. The truck came with a written letter that read: “Congratulations to Chris, 20 years in the game you have overcome many hurdles and obstacles, you deserve the recognition for all the hard work you have put in.”

The affection Kanye West and Chris Brown have for another contrasts with some of their other high profile relationships. Both men are involved in feuds with other hip-hop superstars, and have dropped diss tracks in the last week. West released a remix of the Future and Metro Boomin smash single “Like That,” which took at Drake, while Brown bombed on Quavo with “Weakest Link.” Both disses were well received, with many feeling that Chris Brown delivered the decisive blow in the Quavo feud. The muted response to Quavo’s “Over Hoes & B*tches” all but solidified this theory. West, meanwhile, is still at war with the 6 God.

Quavo’s Latest Chris Brown Diss Gets Mixed Reaction From Fans

Quavo and Chris Brown are in full-on battle mode. Fans have gotten four diss tracks in the span of two weeks: the latter dropped “Freaky” and “Weakest Link,” while the former dropped “Tender” and “Over Hoes & B*tches.” “Weakest Link” was a devastating diss from Brown, with the R&B star taking aim at Quavo’s current romantic relationship. The bars were inconsistent, but Brown brought swagger and aggression to the table, and fans were impressed. The same can’t really be said for Quavo’s response. Credit to the rapper for getting a response out in three days, but fans aren’t thrilled by what they heard.

The biggest talking point with regards to “Over Hoes & B*tches” is Takeoff. The standout member of Migos (and Quavo’s late nephew) handles the chorus of the song, but some felt like his inclusion was distracting. Obviously, he’s not involved in the feud. It makes sense to include Takeoff on paper, given that Brown mentioned the Migos rapper on “Weakest Link,” but it didn’t really translate the way Quavo wanted. Brown certainly felt this way, as he took to Instagram to make fun of the diss. “Damn and I was excited,” he wrote. “That s**t don’t even need a response. Takeoff rap better.”

Quavo’s Diss Track Is Being Criticized

The fans who liked “Over Hoes & B*tches” complimented the flow and the production. Then there was the single artwork, which replaced a controversial photo of Brown choking a woman with Quavo choking Brown. What the song lacked for many, though, was energy. The Migos rapper goes after Brown’s drug use and bipolar disorder, but he doesn’t reveal anything fans didn’t already know.

“I’m still crying,” wrote one X user. “Quavo’s whole diss was cultivating sh**ty tweets & google searches against Chris Brown.” Another user blamed the people in the rapper’s inner circle. “Quavo doesn’t have any good friends,” they added. “Anyone who really liked him would have warned him that it was a bad idea to respond with this pathetic diss.”

Chris Brown Roasts Quavo’s Diss Track: “Don’t Even Need A Response”

Rap beefs are moving at lightning speed these days. Chris Brown fired off the disrespectful “Weakest Link” on a Friday, then Quavo responded with “Over Hoes & B*tches,” on a Monday. Both disses were loaded with disrespectful bars about ex-girlfriends and past indiscretions, but the latter has gotten a mixed reception from fans. Some felt Quavo should have gone harder against Brown, and others felt it was gimmicky to include a verse from the late Takeoff. One of the most vocal critics, unsurprisingly, is Brown himself.

Chris Brown was so underwhelmed by Quavo’s “Over Hoes & B*tches” that he didn’t even respond on wax. Instead, he hopped on social media an hour after the song dropped and roasted it. “Google raps,” he wrote on his IG Story. “That s**t is pooooooop.” The facepalm and laughing emojis would have sent the message, but Breezy didn’t stop there. He actually voiced disappointment in Quavo, asserting that he was excited for a competitive rap feud. “Damn and I was excited,” he added. “That s**t don’t even need a response.” The R&B singer rubbed additional salt in the wound by referencing Takeoff (again).

Chris Brown Clowned Quavo’s “Google Raps”

Brown claimed that Quavo was the worst rapper in Migos, and that fans wished it was him who died instead of Takeoff. “R.I.P. Takeoff, he the only real one that got true respect,” Brown rapped on his diss track. “Crazy how when he died, everybody really wished it was you instead (Oh sh*t, brrah).” A cruel statement, for sure, but one the R&B singer was able to reiterate because of the late rapper’s inclusion on “Over Hoes & B*tches.” He ended his mocking IG post by writing: “Takeoff rap better.”

Quavo has been open about the difficulty he had getting over Takeoff’s death, and he even alluded to it in “Over Hoes & B*tches.” He doesn’t really take Brown to task over his bars, however. “I’m still f**ked up about Takeoff, I want who did it, n**ga (Uh),” he rapped. “But that’s some real street s**t, back to the industry (For real).” Brown’s social media trolling is only go agitate the situation further, but the future of the Brown and Quavo beef is currently unclear. The former claimed he doesn’t even need to put out a response, but it ultimately falls to the fans to determine who the winner is.

Quavo Responds to Chris Brown with New Song “Over Ho*s & B**ches”

Quavo is firing back at Chris Brown following the release of his diss track, dropping one of his own “Over Hoes & Bitches (OHB).” The new track comes courtesy of an Akademiks premiere. You can hear it below.

Late Friday night (April 19), Chris Brown dropped off “Weakest Link,” which featured a voicemail from Quavo, Brown claiming to have sex with Saweetie while she dated Quavo and a wild Takeoff line.

In the opening voicemail, Chris Brown can be heard saying: “Now we can settle this like you got some class or we can get into some gangsta shit.” In response, Quavo said, “I don’t want no issues, I don’t want no smoke, I don’t wanna fight you.”

After a chant of “Who want smoke with me?” and calling Quavo “a bitch with dreads,” Chris Brown claims he had sex with Saweetie while she was dating Quavo.

“What’s all that boss shit you talkin’? You ain’t no huncho, nigga
You the weakest link outta yo’ clique, let’s keep it a hundo, nigga
You fucked my ex-ho, that’s cool, I don’t give no fuck, lil nigga
‘Cause I fucked yo’ ex when you were still with her, bitch, I’m up, lil nigga
They say revenge is sweet, now think about that shit
Don’t let that line go over your head, I might just sing about that shit
I had her fiending ’bout that dick, there’s something sweet about that shit
I got some tea up out that bitch, but I ain’t go speak about that shit”

Following that set, Breezy claims Quavo beat Saweetie in the elevator and that he wanted to beat the Migo at Fashion Week but wouldn’t mess up his money. Then the diss hits another level:

“You know it’s on, put you to bed, night, night, that’s Sudafed
Show me that I’m tender, bitch, time to prove what you just said
R.I.P. Takeoff, he the only real one, I got true respect
Crazy how when he died, everybody really wished it was you instead
You trippin’, Chris, don’t say that, don’t lose your head”

And now we go to the Saweetie reaction:

You can hear the single below.

Quavo Drops Scathing Chris Brown Diss “Over Hoes & B*tches”

Quavo didn’t waste any time. Chris Brown escalated his beef with the Migos rapper on Friday by dropping the fiery diss track “Weakest Link.” The R&B singer claimed he slept with Quavo’s girlfriend when they were still together, and implied Quavo was the worst member of the aforementioned rap trio. The hip-hop world may have been taken aback by how nasty Brown got, but it seems like Quavo saw it coming. He dropped his response track, “Over Hoes & B*tches,” on Monday night, and it does not pull any punches.

Quavo isn’t alone on the diss. He uses unreleased vocals from Takeoff on the chorus, which is a direct response to a line in Brown’s diss. In “Weakest Link,” the R&B singer said that fans wished it was Quavo who died, and not Takeoff, so Quavo enlists the late great to shut him up. Takeoff provides some tough bars about Brown being a phony and fake tough guy, but it’s Quavo’s verses that hit hardest. He blasts Brown for starting a feud over a woman, rapping: “P**sy, every time you see me, keep that energy, can’t believe I gotta beat you ’bout some women beef.”

Quavo Dubs Brown “Crackhead Michael Jackson”

There’s some slick wordplay littered throughout the diss. It’s the drug bars, however, that’s going to catch most listeners off guard. Quavo accuses Brown of being a drug addict, going as far as to call him “Crackhead Michael Jackson.” He dismisses the R&B singer of not being worth his time since became a “junkie,” and even alludes to Brown’s struggles with mental health. “The cocaine got ’em, your honor,” he raps on the track. “Bipolar disorder, no wonder. You was the greatest, n**ga, you fumbled, going out sad, I’m watching you crumble.” Breezy is not going to like what he hears. It’s hard to imagine this feud ending anytime soon.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new diss, “Over Hoes & B*tches” by Quavo? Does Quavo gain the upper hand in the feud? Did he cross the line by mentioning Brown’s alleged drug problems? Will Brown keep things going with another response? We want to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Quotable Lyrics:

N**ga, you ain’t been in the trenches
We stomping the yard, you know how that ended (Stomp)
Want smoke with me? Always beating, fighting over hoes and b*tches (Always beat)

50 Cent Urges Quavo To Fire Back After Chris Brown’s “Weakest Link” Diss

In an unexpected fashion that seemed harder than most rappers’ recent diss tracks, Chris Brown dropped a scathing diss track aimed at Migos’ front man Quavo entitled “Weakest Link” and now the number one online antagonizer is pressuring Quavo to return fire at Breezy or he can count this battle as a loss.

50 Cent seemed to give CB his props for the Weakest Link, posting the song’s cover art, which shows Quavo chomping on a glizzy, along with a snippet of the song.

Screenshot 2024 04 22 at 10.56.46 AM

“Oh my God i just heard this, if Quavo don’t come with some heat it’s a wrap. First the Fatboys break up now this!” he wrote.

Released on Friday (April 19), “Weakest Link” finds Chris Brown taking his feud with the former Migos member to another level.

Breezy addressed Quavo allegedly sleeping with Brown’s ex, Karreuche Tran, rapping, “You fucked my ex-ho, that’s cool, I don’t give no fuck, lil n-gga/ ‘Cause I fucked yo ex when you were still with her, bitch, I’m up, lil n-gga.”

Brown also takes a stab using the death of Quavo’s late nephew and Migos member TakeOff for some vicious get back. “R.I.P. TakeOff, he the only real one, I got true respect/ Crazy how when he died, everybody really wished it was you instead.”

Previously, Quavo had taken shots at Breezy on his song “Tender”, taunting him over his ex Karrueche Tran, history of violence against women and alleged drug habit. “You did the bitch wrong and now the bitch gone, she posted with a thug/ Call the bitch phone, she won’t come home, don’t beat her up/ It must be the drugs, need to cross out your plug,” rapped Quavo.

The beef between these two date all the way back to 2017, where the Brown and Quavo allegedly got into a physical altercation at the BET Awards Afterparty.

Quavo Apparently Reacts To Chris Brown’s New Diss Track Against Him

It seems like we have another round coming up in the recently boiled-over rap beef between Chris Brown and Quavo. For those unaware, the two experienced a lot of tension throughout their career given shared romantic history and a general aversion to one another that was never very clear. Either way, things really got serious when they sat next to each other at a fashion event, and they spoke about how that didn’t mean they liked each other at all. Diss tracks from each MC followed, and the latest of these (Breezy’s “Weakest Link”) is honestly more brutal and disrespectful than anything that Kendrick Lamar, Drake, or anyone else in that side of hip-hop feuds have done so far this year.

Moreover, a recent Instagram Story post from the former Migo on Saturday (April 20) has fans thinking that this is his first implicit response to this new diss track. Quavo posted a picture of Young Thug in court for his current RICO trial (and that of the rest of YSL) with an annoyed look on his face. It’s a very simple image that could mean a lot, but given the context surrounding the Georgia rapper right now, it’s hard not to think about a potential reaction to Chris Brown’s shots. He’s only sent one diss track against the pop/R&B/rap star so far, but it was such a quick response that fans predict he’ll be quick to hit the booth.

“Tender” wasn’t bad at all, albeit something that Chris Brown definitely turned the heat up on with “Weakest Link” with some direct responses. These included Quavo’s mention of Brown’s documented and often alleged history of abusing women, which the latter turned against the former by bringing up a video in which Huncho Jack attacks his now-ex Saweetie in an elevator. In fact, the Virginia entertainer claims to have slept with her while she was still with the “Hotel Lobby” spitter on this new diss track. The Los Angeles MC, now in a relationship with YG, might’ve responded to all this, too.

Meanwhile, what do you think about this beef and how it’s seemingly ramping up? Do you think that the trap icon will actually respond on wax or is the 11:11 artist safe from a clapback? However you may feel, drop your thoughts down in the comments section below. Also, stay logged into HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Quavo and Chris Brown.

Saweetie Seems To Respond To Chris Brown’s Quavo Diss Alluding To Her

Did everyone choose violence in 2024 (except J. Cole regretting his initial decision) or is this just the most coincidentally hostile time in rap’s history? Moreover, the latest info brewing in hip-hop’s butcher shop is the beef between Chris Brown and Quavo, which just escalated in a nasty and absolutely ruthless way with the former’s “Weakest Link” diss against the latter. On it, he includes the following lines alluding to the former Migo’s ex, Saweetie. “You f***ed my ex-h*e, that’s cool, I don’t give no f**k, lil’ n***a,” Breezy raps. “‘Cause I f***ed your ex when you were still with her, b***h, I’m up, lil’ n***a.”

“They say revenge is sweet, now think about that s**t,” Chris Brown continued against Quavo. “Don’t let that line go over your head, I might just sing about that s**t / I had her fiending about that d**k, there’s something sweet about that s**t / I got some tea about that b***h, but I ain’t gon’ speak about that s**t.” Well, it looks like Saweetie herself has something to say about this whole debacle about these MCs’ exes, as she took to Twitter early Saturday morning (April 20) to seemingly react to this diss. “let me go rewrite these nani verses,” she wrote, and a couple of hours prior late Friday night (April 19), she had tweeted “WHEW ! CHILE.” seemingly before the song came out, indicating that she perhaps knew of its existence before the public. That’s entirely speculative, though, and just a theory with no real proof or backing.

Regardless, the “nani verses” the Los Angeles MC’s referring to is a new song she’s coming out with very soon, which had and still has die-hards very excited. In fact, they’re probably more excited now than they were then considering this Chris Brown and Quavo beef. However, it’s hard to call whether Saweetie will really respond to any of this. After all, she’s not usually one to get into explicit or speculated beef despite some past examples, and this would be one of the more direct callouts she’s ever been involved in.

Meanwhile, the Icy Girl seems to still be with YG and having a great time as a couple right now following break-up rumors. Will he have to step into the booth to defend his girl? Only time will tell. For more news and the latest updates on Saweetie, Chris Brown, and Quavo, check back in with HNHH.
