Rapper Feezy Lebron Threatened By Crazy Cop

The video of yet another police officer threatening an unarmed Black man is going viral on social media. Although the incident occurred on New Year’s Eve, the bodycam footage has recently been circulating across Twitter.

The victim is rapper Feezy Lebron, who was simply sitting in his car on his phone while in Los Angeles. Two officers subsequently approach his car to question him. However, one is frighteningly quick to pull his gun and explicitly threaten him.

“You take off in this car, I’ma shoot you. I’m gonna make it super easy on you.. you put this car in drive, you’re getting one right to the chest,” the cop threatens while pointing his gun at Feezy. The rapper has his arms up and is evidently complying.

The pair of police were allegedly questioning him for smoking weed in his car. However, marijuana is legal in the state of California. It has been since 2016. Additionally, Feezy says he did have weed in his car, but claims he wasn’t smoking it.

“Unfortunately for you, you shouldn’t smoke so much weed in your car and we wouldn’t have to search you,” the officer attempts to explain. He goes on to inappropriately accuse the rapper of having anger issues based on his response and denial to these claims.

The L.A. rapper is continuing to speak about the incident on his Instagram account. “jus glad to have survived tht last encounter…-these guys are literally hunting us…Please continue to SHARE[.] This is the way I’m most likely to DIE..it will always end with HANDCUFFS or GUNS DRAWN,” he writes in the caption of a post on January 3.

The incident is evidently causing outage all across social media. Attorney Ben Crump took to his Twitter account to voice his thoughts on the unfortunate situation on Monday (January 9). “This is grossly UNPROFESSIONAL & concerning – on Dec. 31, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy reportedly threatened to shoot an LA-based rapper during a traffic stop! A complaint has been filed, & the Sheriff’s Department is investigating the deputies’ actions and language,” he writes.

Feezy Lebron was ultimately detained and put into the police car. The Los Angeles Sheriffs Department is responsible for releasing the footage. They say they did so in order to be transparent. “One deputy displayed pepper spray, then drew his firearm and used unprofessional language, which later resulted in a complaint filed by that community member,” reads part of their statement.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Opens Up About His Mother’s Injury & PnB Rock’s Death In New Interview

A Boogie Wit da Hoodie is still fresh off the release of his newest album, Me vs. Myself. Ever since his debut mixtape, 2016’s Artist, the New York native has been steadily working to become a household name in mainstream hip-hop.

Thanks to his melodic sound and several hits to his name, the 27-year-old continues to see success.

On Thursday (January 12), Billboard published their brand new interview with the “Drowning” rapper. During the sit-down, A Boogie opens up about a number of different topics. Notably, he talks about an injury that his mother suffered and its effects on him. During a raid of the rapper’s home in 2020, 16 SWAT officers are responsible for busting through the door. His mother subsequently rolled her ankle while falling down the stairs.

“When I seen Mom Dukes fall down the stairs that day, bro. I’m looking up to see what was coming behind her, and all I seen was a flashlight, and whatever kind of chopper those SWAT teams have. It was crazy, and I just froze up. I couldn’t do anything,” he details. The New York native says isolation has helped him to grow and reflect on his past.

Elsewhere in the interview, he also addresses dealing with the loss of one of his closest friends, PnB Rock. “When it comes to someone close to me passing away, it’s hard, but I can’t lose focus because I have to be responsible and find the balance to deal with those tough losses so I can properly help out in any way I can. Isolation helped with that,” says the 27-year-old.

His latest project, the aforementioned Me vs. Myself, arrived just over a month ago. It boasts features from Roddy Ricch, G Herbo, Lil Durk and others. Furthermore, it’s backed by the single, “Water (Drowning Pt. 2)” with Kodak Black. Of course, this serves as the sequel to their 2017 track together.

A Boogie released a deluxe version of the album with an extra song just a few days after the original release. “Needed That” features the late PnB Rock and serves as the deluxe version’s first song on the tracklist.

Quentin Miller Accuses Big Sean Of Attempting To Deny Him Songwriting Credits

DJ Vlad is notorious for getting rappers to open up about some pretty wild topics throughout their interviews with him.

One of the most recent artists to sit down with VLADTV is Quentin Miller. During their conversation, the “Arkham Asylum” rapper dishes on an array of different topics.

However, one rapper he decided to hone in on, is Big Sean. It all begins when Vlad brings up other artists that Miller has worked with in the past, mentioning G-Eazy, Sean and Ty Dolla $ign. However, upon hearing the “Blessings” rapper’s name, he decides to open up about their experiences together. “Yeah I worked with Big Sean. Big Sean, man, that really broke my heart,” he begins.

He goes on to detail meeting him for the first time in the studio with Drake for the recording of the aforementioned “Blessings.” “When I get to working with Sean on this last project, the What You Expect [EP] with Hit-Boy, I’m part of three songs. There’s only six songs on there. Man, we texting and talking everyday. I’m pullin’ up on Sean’s crib, like, every other day,” he continues afterwards.

Miller says he had a full-circle moment when he noticed that there was a plaque for “Blessings” up in the Detroit native’s house. “Maybe, like, a week before the album drops, he’s just not responding to me at all. Then, like a week before, I’m in the studio with Hit-Boy, I just randomly hear in a conversation with Hit, ‘yeah, the album drops next week.’ I’m like, ‘wait, what?’ I didn’t even know,” says the “Potential” rapper.

When the EP did drop, his name wasn’t initially in the credits for the first three months. “I didn’t know we was doin’ the ghostwriter thing, ’cause if that was the case, I would’ve asked for some cash,” says Miller. Allegedly, Sean and his team were attempting to explain that they had to get all of the paperwork done firstly. However, everybody else who was involved in the project, had their respective names in the credits.

Elsewhere in the lengthy sit down, Miller details writing “R.I.C.O.” and sending it to DJ Drama. He says he wasn’t aware that Meek and Drake were using the reference track to release it on their own.

Of course, Meek Mill publicly called out Drake for using Miller as his ghostwriter during their notorious beef in 2015.

Drake Flexes Pharell’s Skateboard Pendant & Chain

As one of, if not the biggest artist in the world, Drake continues to live the most lavish lifestyle possible. Through his braggadocios bars and constant flexing on Instagram, we always seem to get a sneak peak into what the 36-year-old has going on behind the scenes.

He’s certainly had lots to celebrate recently. This is thanks to the success of his most recent offering, the 21 Savage-assisted Her Loss.

During a recent vacation in Saint Barths, it appears as though the Toronto superstar was sporting some insane jewelry. While posing for a photo with model Sara Benedikte Nilsen, some fans are noticing that the pendant he’s rocking is actually a famous one. It’s Pharrell‘s double skateboard pendant and accompanying chain from Jacob & Co.

Skateboard P famously put the chain up for sale as part of his auction site, Joopiter. Since launching it last year, he’s sold an array of jewelry pieces, clothing and sneakers from his own personal collection. The chain reportedly sold for $103,750. Apparently we now know who the buyer is.

While on the vacation, however, the “Jimmy Cooks” rapper was putting in some work as well. He shot a music video there for Popcaan‘s latest single, “We Caa Done.” The video shows the OVO crew turning up on the island, riding jet-skis and having an all-around good time. Furthermore, Lil Yachty and even Kevin Durant make cameos.

The song marks the first official OVO Sound release of 2023. On January 2, the label took to their Instagram account to tease new music and sounds from their artists in 2023. “OVO SOUND ’22 NEW SOUND ALL ’23,” reads the caption.

The second release, PARTYNEXTDOOR‘s brand new single, “Her Old Friends,” is set to arrive on streaming services tonight. It will certainly be interesting to see whether or not this “new sound” includes even more new music from the “God’s Plan” artist himself.

Additionally, Drake directed TVGUCCI’s newest music video for his 2021 song, “Bora Bora,” which dropped on New Year’s Day.

Lisa Marie Presley Suffers Cardiac Arrest, On Life Support

Hollywood has been engulfed in chatter about Elvis Presley these days, thanks to Austin Butler’s portrayal of the Rock ‘n’ Roll great. However, earlier today (January 12), it was shared that the music legend’s daughter, Lisa Marie, suffered a health scare.

According to reports, Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital after enduring a cardiac arrest. Los Angeles news station KTLA 5 reports “paramedics performed CPR” at her Calabasas home before transporting her to emergency care.

The outlet also stated paramedics helped Presley “regain a pulse.” She is reportedly on life support and in a coma.

Days ago, the 54-year-old attended the 2023 Golden Globes alongside her mother, Priscilla, and Austin Butler. She has been an avid supporter of the recent film about her father and was excited about its success.

“My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital,” Priscilla additionally said in a statement to PEOPLE. “She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers.”

She also shared, “We feel the prayers from around the world and ask for privacy at this time.”

Evan Peters “Dahmer” Golden Globes Win Slammed By Victim’s Relative

Netflix had a huge hit on its hands when it released Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, but the families of the serial killer’s victims weren’t fans. The series took over timelines as people relived the gruesome, predatory murders of the late murderer Jeffrey Dahmer. He infamously coerced his 17 victims—all men and mainly non-white—before slaughtering and consuming their bodies.

Dahmer’s frightening real-life tale was sensationalized for the series, and the public praised Evan Peters’s depiction. He even took home a win at the 2023 Golden Globes for Best Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Television Film. However, the mother of one of Dahmer’s victims immediately stepped forward to condemn the series.

Tony Hughes was one of Dahmer’s victims, a deaf man, and his mother, Shirley, spoke with TMZ about the popularity of Dahmer.

“There’s a lot of sick people around the world,” she said. “People winning acting roles from playing killers keeps the obsession going, and this makes sick people thrive on the fame.”

She added, “It’s a shame that people can take our tragedy and make money. The victims never saw a cent. We go through these emotions every day.”

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, aka the Milwaukee Cannibal, is an American serial killer and sex offender, who committed the rape, murder and dismemberment of 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991, with many of his later murders also involving necrophilia, cannibalism and the permanent preservation of body parts, typically all or part of the skeletal structure. Ebro Clarifies Saying He Didn’t Want Tory Lanez To Go To Jail

Next month, Tory Lanez will learn his fate, and Ebro Darden is clearing up his comments about the incarcerated star. Lanez was convicted of three counts related to the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. He has long argued he wasn’t the person responsible, but Megan named him as the shooter. A jury agreed, and the singer will find out his prison sentence during a hearing on February 28.

Last year, Darden went viral after he shared his thoughts on the case. “There’s also a world where we can be sad for Tory Lanez and sad for Megan Thee Stallion,” he said during an episode of Rap Life Review last April.

“He was apologetic to her,” Darden also stated at the time. “In public, he was doing something else. But the reason I say that is I don’t want to see another Black man go to jail. That’s not what I want to see. That’s part one.”

He continued: “Part two, I also believe he was probably highly intoxicated, right? And was being completely ridiculous… Her version of him standing up just shooting talking about, ‘Dance, b*tch, dance,’ that sounds insane. You are not in your right mind. That sounds like you was off… He sounds like he was off the full Pusha T album. He shoved it up his nose.”

Megan’s supporters didn’t appreciate the hot take, and now, Darden is clarifying his statement.

“I expressed how I felt about Tory going to jail, which, you know, I never wanna see a Black man go to jail,” Darden stated. “But he deserves it, and he deserves what he’s getting. So, when I was asked about it, I was like, ‘I hope he doesn’t have to go to jail.”

“But, the truth is, I’m sad. Even as Megan is getting justice, she’s not a winner in this scenario. She was abused. And then, she’s being verbally abused, and then she’s being framed in a bad way. Then, when she goes to put out music, this is gonna continue to come up all the time. That’s sad to me.”

Darden further said Lanez is “an artist we watched grow” to a hitmaker with several No. 1 projects. “His ego gets out of control,” he said. “He starts doing dumb sh*t and his toxic behavior is on display. Next thing we know, here we are in this scenario.”

He also touched on the jail call Lanez made to Kelsey Harris that seemingly sealed his fate. Darden called the rapper an “idiot” because, on the call, Lanez seemed remorseful. However, in public, Ebro claimed Lanez gaslighted and taunted Megan.

She’s laying some rumors to rest, and people believe Lori Harvey is addressing gossip about Diddy. In the summer of 2019, Diddy and Harvey emerged with their unlikely romance. The pair didn’t speak about their union, but they were photographed jet-setting from one end of the world to another. Paparazzi were on their heels at every turn, prompting social media to erupt about Harvey’s alleged dating past.

It was speculated that before her relationship with Diddy, Harvey also dated the Bad Boy mogul’s son, Justin Combs. In a new interview with Adrienne Houghton for E! News, the socialite seemingly addresses the rumors.

In a clip of the conversation, Houghton mentioned Steve Harvey. Houghton wanted to know the “one piece of advice” the model’s famous stepfather has given her “that really has stuck.”

“Just remember that you’re the prize, always,” Harvey answered. “That’s like, his golden slogan for me.” Houghton questioned what that meant for Harvey.

“It just means not like, compromising my values, my happiness, my peace,” she said. “Not settling for less than what I know I deserve. And not being afraid to walk away from a situation if it’s no longer serving me.”

When asked about the biggest misconception, Harvey didn’t hesitate with her response.

“It’s so funny, because I’m so quiet, there’s been so many stories that have been made up about me,” she stated. “I’ve seen stories about me being fully in love with somebody and you have like, this whole relationship. And I’ll see the guy and I’m like, I’ve actually never met him before.”

“Like, full-blown stories I’ve heard, I’ve dated a father and son before. Absolutely not true,” she continued. “I’ve even heard that I’m a lesbian at one point. So, you know, there’s been a lot of different things. A lot of stories, lot of misconceptions. I think they’re hilarious. I love the stories.”

Dr. Dre Victorious After Marjorie Taylor Greene Deletes “Still D.R.E.” Video

After coming down swiftly on Marjorie Taylor Greene, Dr. Dre reigns victorious. The Rap icon wasn’t happy when he learned that far-right conservative Greene used his classic track “Still D.R.E.” Greene is a controversial political figure in the U.S. from Georgia who has often perpetuated unsubstantiated QAnon conspiracy theories. She has also spoken at white nationalist rallies, further cementing her political infamy.

Recently, Greene found her name being mentioned among Hip Hop circles. She emerged on social media in a promotional video with Dre’s 2001 hit. Quickly, the Aftermath mogul’s team fired off a cease and desist letter.

“I don’t license my music to politicians, especially someone as divisive and hateful as this one,” Dre said in a statement. He also called out Greene for not following the proper legal avenues to license music.

“It’s possible, though, that laws governing intellectual property are a little too arcane and insufficiently populist for you to really have spent much time on,” the statement continued.

Kanye West Spotted With Mysterious Blonde Again In Beverly Hills

Kanye West put an end to speculation that he’s gone “missing” after he was spotted in Beverly Hills this week.

Though Ye’s remained lowkey throughout the holidays, the allegations that he’s M.I.A. stemmed from a report that his former business partner couldn’t get ahold of him. Thomas St. John, Ye’s ex-business manager, said that he needed more time to locate him to serve him the lawsuit.

Despite these claims, there have been a few sightings of Ye in recent times. First, the paparazzi spotted him leaving church around Christmas. Then, he was located shopping.

Now, TMZ reports that they spotted Kanye West in Beverly Hills with a mysterious lady. Photographers spotted Ye with the unnamed woman at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills — a hotel that he visits often. Sources say that the two were “comfortable” during their lunch. TMZ notes they spotted Ye and the woman entering the hotel together earlier this week, though the nature of their relationship is still unclear.

Ye’s had a few high-profile relationships in the past year. Following his separation from Kim Kardashian, he began dating Julia Fox briefly before moving on to Chaney Jones. Ye and Jones stayed together for a large chunk of 2022 with Jones later inking “Ye” on her wrist.

Ye’s coming off of a tumultuous year that included his divorce and the loss of his billionaire status. Following his tirade against Adidas and Gap, he lost his Yeezy deal and then, kicked off the 2024 campaign for his presidential run. He made a slew of media appearances alongside alt-right figures like Nick Fuentes and Milo Yiannopoulos. During these appearances, Ye made many insensitive, anti-Semitic remarks that eventually led to brands dropping him and Adidas ending their partnership.
