Al B. Sure Details “Miraculous” Recovery After Coma Amid Rumors Diddy Caused It

Amid the slew of damning allegations Diddy is facing these days, Al B. Sure recently added one more to the list, suggesting that the mogul had something to do with his 2022 coma. He prompted the speculation during his appearance at the Equal Justice Now Awards in L.A. late last month when he shared that he’s working on a new film centered around his life.

“We’re going to be producing the Al B. Sure! life story,” he said onstage. “So hold on to your britches, and you’ll really understand how I ended up in a coma. You’re really gonna need to call Homeland Security.” The exact cause of Al B. Sure’s coma has yet to be revealed, but he suffered from multiple illnesses prior, including renal failure. He had a liver transplant and has since recovered.

During a recent chat with his fans on Instagram Live, Al B. Sure unveiled more details of his life-threatening condition and subsequent comeback. The performer says his case was so “miraculous” that it’s being studied by scientists. “My medical case is almost a scientific study related to how sick I was, or became miraculously,” he began. “There’s gonna be a scientific study on the fact that I survived.”

“Those of you that know, only by the grace of God,” he added. He then went on to reflect on how his whole system was failing at one point, noting how his faith and determination kept him alive. Dr. Dre Reveals He Suffered Three Strokes Following 2021 Brain Aneurysm

Back in 2021, Dr. Dre woke up with “the worst pain” behind one of his ears, which he admits he initially brushed off. As his day went on, however, his son and a friend urged him to seek medical attention. Eventually, he went to the hospital, where he was told that his condition was “serious.” During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s This Life of Mine with James Corden, the Grammy-winner reflected on the frightening experience of learning that he had suffered a brain aneurysm. He also revealed that during his hospitalization, he suffered three strokes.

“I got up and went about my day, and I thought I could lay down and take a nap,” he explained. “My son and a female friend were like ‘No, we need to take you to the hospital. Next thing you know, I’m blacking out, I’m in and out of consciousness and I end up in the ICU. I was there for two weeks. I’m hearing doctors come in, ‘You don’t know how lucky you are.’ I asked questions about what I could’ve done to prevent this.”

“Nobody could give me an answer,” Dr. Dre continued. “I had no idea that I had high blood pressure or anything like that because I’m on my health sh*t. I’m lifting weights, I’m running, I’m doing everything I can to keep myself healthy.” He added that he isn’t sure whether or not the experience made a “significant change” to his life. He does say, however, that a scare like that “definitely makes you appreciate being alive.”

“It’s cr*zy, so now knowing that I had no control over that. It’s just something that could happen out of the blue,” he described. “You wake up and you go, ‘Sh*t. Jamie Foxx had a pretty harrowing 2023. Early in the year, he suffered from an undisclosed health crisis while on set. The crisis was serious enough that he spent an extended stay in the hospital and required months of recovery. In discussions about the crisis once he recovered he described it in near-death terms. He even claimed that he once saw “the tunnel” during a particularly rough point in his health scare.

Over the weekend, he accepted an award from the African American Film Critics Association. During his speech for getting the Producer’s Award, he reminded everyone just how entertaining he can be. First, he promised to eventually tell his entire story and reveal what happened to him. He clarified that he was going to do it when he’s ready and do it his own way. In his speech, Jamie Foxx brings up a theory that was spread online after his health crisis. When he re-emerged there were some spreading wild rumors that he had somehow been cloned. Clearly, he finds those rumors pretty amusing as he cracks jokes about how ridiculous they sound. He finishes by joking that the clone rumors stopped once he was spotted dating a white woman, which got a raucous laugh from the crowd.

He expanded on that joke afterward, asking the crowd if he’s even “black enough” to receive the award he’s getting. Given that the award was given to him by the African American Film Critics Association that joke also goes over pretty well with the crowd. Jamie Foxx Claims He Will Tell The Full Story Of His Health Scare Last Year

Jamie Foxx spent much of 2023 out of the public eye as he dealt with an unspecified health crisis. He was reportedly on set working on a project when something pretty serious happened. As a result, he was hospitalized and needed extended recovery time in the following months. He’s already popped up in a few places in 2024 looking like his normal self again. His most recent appearance came African American Film Critics Association Awards over the weekend where he accepted the “Producer’s Award.”

During his acceptance speech, he reminded the crowd just how sharp he can be with one hilarious quip after another. “I’m emotional. I get emotional to even music that I’m not supposed to be emotional to. I was listening to Sexyy Red like, ‘Skee Yee,’” Foxx joked at the start of his speech. He went on to reveal that he has a plan for revealing exactly what happened to him last year. “Now look, everybody wants to know what happened, and I’m going to tell you what happened, but I’m going to do it in my way. I’m going to do it in a funny way. It’s gonna be on the stage. We’re going to go back to the stand-up roots, but I’ll tell you in my way. She detailed her emotional reaction to learning of her stroke, explaining that she “started breaking down crying.” She also questioned what she could have done to deserve the frightening incident, leaving fans devastated for her.

“Like I’m only 24, what did I do in my past to deserve all of this,” she wondered. Broadus has been open previously about her Lupus diagnosis, which she received at the age of 6. “I’ve had medication since I was 6 years old, depending on these drugs all my life. So I wanted better for myself,” she shared. “I wanted to change because it just became a lot. I’m only 24 years old, taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. Rappin 4-Tay says that he’s out of the hospital after suffering a medical scare prior to Christmas. While he didn’t go into details about what was ailing him, the 55-year-old rapper asked for fans’ prayers in a concerning post on Twitter, last week. When HipHopDX covered the situation on Instagram, 4-Tay took the comments section to reveal that he was doing much better already.

“THANK YOU FAM. I AM AT HOME NOW RECOOPERATING. BEEN OUT OF SF GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR A FEW DAYS NOW, RECOOPERATING AS BEST I CAN,” he wrote. “KEEP PRAYING FOR ME AND LOVE THE ONES YOU GOT.” The original post had read: “I NEED ALL MY LOYAL ONES TO SEND A PRAYERS. Krayzie Bone Recalls Nearly-Fatal Hospitalization, Didn’t Think He’d Survive

Back in 2016, Krayzie Bone was diagnosed with pulmonary sarcoidosis, a rare lung condition. Up until a few months ago, he thought he was in remission, but an unexpected hospitalization proved otherwise. In September, the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony performer was spending his evening playing video games at home, when he began to cough up blood.

While this wasn’t entirely uncommon due to his aforementioned lung condition, his wife demanded that he go to the hospital. He quickly learned that something wasn’t right, and doctors were forced to put him in a medically-induced coma for 10 days. He reflected on the frightening experience during a recent interview with Spin Magazine, revealing that doctors didn’t believe he would make it.

“I didn’t even know how serious it was until I woke up,” he explained. “They informed me of everything that was going on. The doctors in the ICU, I don’t know if it’s what they see every day, but their outlook was grim. They were like, ‘He might not make it out of here. The lung function on the left side is completely dead. He will need a lung transplant.’ This is everything they’re telling my family when I’m in the process of waking up.”

“When I wake up, everybody’s looking grim,” Krayzie Bone continued. “They tell me this and I’m like, ‘OK.’ They were gearing me up for a lung transplant, so they sent me right over to the Ronald Reagan Center because my primary doctor, when she heard them talking about a transplant, she was like, ‘Wait, let’s slow down here. This is my patient. I just had a visit with him and he just had one of the best breathing tests. We need to slow this down. I don’t think he needs a lung transplant.’ That’s why I was in the hospital for so long. They were doing a whole evaluation.” Though his health scare pushed some of his upcoming projects back, he still has multiple solo releases lined up for 2024. Kel Mitchell Shares New Details Of Recent Health Scare

Earlier this week, it was reported that Chicago-born actor and comedian Kel Mitchell had been hospitalized for an unspecified medical emergency. For obvious reasons, the news sparked concern among his fanbase, as very few details were revealed. Fortunately, his supporters were quickly reassured, as Mitchell took to Instagram shortly after to give them an eagerly-anticipated update. He shared that he was back at home and “on the road to recovery.”

He also thanked his fans in his message, telling them their “kindness has been a lifeline.” Followers were relieved to hear from Mitchell, and to know he was doing well following the scare. Mitchell had yet to reveal the nature of the hospitalization, however, leaving them to speculate. In a new video, Mitchell’s seen in good spirits, appearing to be doing well amid the headlines. He recalls being out shopping when he noticed some troubling symptoms, prompting him to head to the hospital. “Suddenly the whole rooming started spinning,” he explains. At the time, he decided to drink some water, assuming he was just dehydrated. “When I did that, the whole right side of my arm and my leg was numb, followed by me not being able to swallow,” he describes. “And that’s when I panicked. So, I drove myself to the hospital — I wouldn’t advise anybody to do that — but I was panicking so I wobbled myself to the car.”

Upon arriving to the hospital, he failed a series of tests, causing him to have to stay overnight. Ray J & Brandy’s Mother Gives Health Update Following Recent Hospitalization

Earlier this week, it was reported that Ray J and Brandy’s mother Sonja Norwood was hospitalized after having a bad reaction to at-home IV therapy. TMZ shared that Norwood’s IV treatment included C and B vitamins, calcium, and magnesium. According to the outlet, she started to feel light-headed after the treatment, and had to lay down due to rapid breathing. Ray J and other family members then decided to call an ambulance, and Norwood was taken to a nearby hospital.

Now, she’s shared an eagerly-anticipated update with supporters on Facebook, revealing that the health scare was nothing too serious. “I don’t usually address stories about myself,” she began. “But I was quite surprised to wake up to a call from a long-time friend/publicist asking, ‘Sonja, are you in the hospital, and are you okay?’ ‘What? Madonna Shares New Details On Her Health Scare

Madonna’s Celebration Tour is officially underway. The legendary pop singer began her new series of shows in London over the weekend. During the performance, she spoke to fans about the difficulties she underwent trying to pull the tour off. Most notably, she suffered a major health scare earlier this year that left her hospitalized while fans speculated on her well-being. Rumors swirled that she had been pushing herself to extremes in order to prepare for the start of the tour on time but it ultimately had to be delayed.

Now that the tour has officially begun she shared some new details with fans. “I didn’t think I was going to make it, neither did my doctors. That’s why I woke up with all of my children sitting around me,” she began during a discussion between songs. Her children being there seems to ultimately be what inspired her to pull through. “If you want to know my secret and how I pulled through and how I survived, I thought, ‘I’ve got to be there for my children.
