Anthony Anderson Hospitalized After On-Set Action Injury

Anthony Anderson has a bone to pick with a chair now following his recent hospitalization for an on-set injury while filming the action movie G20. Moreover, he got many scans and X-rays for the accident that occurred during a particularly hectic fight scene on the Cape Town, South Africa set. “I spent the night in the emergency room,” the entertainment figure and stand-up comic captioned an Instagram post of him on a gurney on Thursday (February 1). “Movie set fight gone wrong. Me against two goons and a chair! Guess who didn’t win! Who needs a stuntman? Me that’s who! I’m not as young as I used to be!”

Fortunately, it seems like Anthony Anderson recovered quickly, as he returned to the social media platform to swear revenge on his new enemy: a chair. “This is the chair that whooped my a** last night!” the storyteller wrote alongside a picture of the furniture. “Something about it is menacing! It sucker punched me in the kidneys and back with no mercy! When I got on set today it was grinning at me! Little does he know I got something for that a**! He gone learn today!”

“CT scan and X-rays showed nothing fractured or broken in my back just a deep contusion,” Anthony Anderson had assured in his previous gurney-bound IG post. “That chair will never be the same though! Bloodied and bowed but never broken!” As such, it’s at least heartening to hear that things went smoothly for him, as we’re sure that those injuries on an action set can be difficult to deal with. We’re sure that, slowly but surely, the Black-ish star will go back to relaying hilarious stories about co-stars and fellow celebrities like Tracee Ellis Ross as if nothing happened.

Meanwhile, that perseverance to entertain and stay happy amid all that is a true testament. It also reminded us that he has some great things on the way which we should all be excited for. Statik Selektah has announced that he was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, last week, and is currently recovering. He detailed the situation in a post on Instagram, on Sunday, while sharing a picture of himself with an oxygen tube in place. Many artists and fans shared supportive messages in the comments section in response.

“Rush into to have an emergency 1 hour surgery … 2 days later,” Selektah wrote. “Life gets complicated. I’m good now breathing on my own & will be back on the streets in a sec. Thanks for the love from everyone. Can’t reply to each of you so if you’re seeing this thank you. Happy to be here. [prayer hands emoji, purple heart emoji] (ps thanks to @mama_selektah holding me down since day 1). Love yours. Rappin 4-Tay Reveals He’s Been Discharged From The Hospital & Is Recuperating

Rappin 4-Tay says that he’s out of the hospital after suffering a medical scare prior to Christmas. While he didn’t go into details about what was ailing him, the 55-year-old rapper asked for fans’ prayers in a concerning post on Twitter, last week. When HipHopDX covered the situation on Instagram, 4-Tay took the comments section to reveal that he was doing much better already.

“THANK YOU FAM. I AM AT HOME NOW RECOOPERATING. BEEN OUT OF SF GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR A FEW DAYS NOW, RECOOPERATING AS BEST I CAN,” he wrote. “KEEP PRAYING FOR ME AND LOVE THE ONES YOU GOT.” The original post had read: “I NEED ALL MY LOYAL ONES TO SEND A PRAYERS. I BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL FOR DAYS NOW HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS 4-TAY!!!”

2 Chainz Cleared From Hospital After Miami Car Crash

2 Chainz is fortunately okay following a three-car accident in Miami over the weekend for Art Basel, allegedly close sources to him told TMZ. Moreover, they relayed that he left the hospital hours after he initially went in on Saturday morning (December 9), following a check-up from doctors. The rapper didn’t sustain any significant injuries, was just a little rattled, and is reportedly happy to be out of the medical facility and back home to rest before the holidays kick into full swing. On his Instagram account, he shared a picture of the car that struck his vehicle from behind, a video of him walking to a private jet, and a thankful and heartfelt message for his supporters and loved ones.

“This the car that hit us from behind,” 2 Chainz wrote on the social media platform. “Praise God for the blessings , Things could have been worse , but it wasn’t. Don’t wanna pity party, but i do appreciate every single person that checked up on me. Sometimes someone in my position don’t feel like the love real or maybe it’s mind thing. But I truly felt the love and don’t worry bout me , I’m good , shake back king.”

Derek Chauvin Heads Back To Prison Following Brutal Stabbing

Derek Chauvin is one of the most hated people on the entire planet. Overall, this is due to the fact that he killed George Floyd by suffocating him with his knee. Subsequently, Chauvin was convicted of murder and was sentenced to a lengthy prison stay. However, that prison stay has not been in easy for Chauvin. Just a couple of weeks ago, the man was stabbed by an inmate by the name of John Turscak. The perpetrator did so 22 times and said he did it because he wanted to show support to the Black Lives Matter movement.

This entire situation has been well-documented. However, Chauvin’s family is not happy with how things went down. Essentially, they found out about what happened through social media. The prison never told them what happened, although they eventually provided an update by saying he was in serious condition. Despite being stabbed nearly two dozen times, Chauvin survived. Now, he has to go back to his previous reality.

As Vlad TV reports, Chauvin is now back in an Arizona prison facility. However, we imagine there will be increased security for him now. Once an inmate goes through a situation like his, there is a hefty protocol that soon follows. Only time will tell whether or not another inmate tries this on Chauvin.

Ray J’s Mom Hospitalized After Bad Reaction To IV Therapy

Ray J’s mother, Sonja Norwood, is currently in recovery after suffering from a bad reaction to a home IV drip meant to deliver essential vitamins and nutrients directly to the bloodstream. According to TMZ, Norwood began feeling light-headed after the treatment and had to lie down due to sudden rapid breathing.
From there, Ray and other members of the family called an ambulance out of concern.

The IV therapy included a mixture of C and B vitamins, as well as calcium and magnesium. TMZ reports it’s meant to boost a patient’s immune system but can induce side effects including infection, rashes, blood clots, air embolism, and more. Ray J has yet to comment on the hospitalization. Norwood isn’t the first celebrity to be hospitalized from an IV drip. Back in 2018, Kendall Jenner found herself in the hospital after a similar reaction.

The health scare comes after Ray J spent last week feuding with Kodak Black. He had expressed concern for the rapper after his worrying appearance on Drink Champs, which Kodak didn’t take kindly to. In fact, the “No Flockin” rapper threatened Ray for bringing up the time the two had dinner with Donald Trump. Ray J responded to the comments on Instagram Live afterward. “No, he don’t want no real fade,” he said on October 30th.

He continued: “He talking about he gon’ beat me up. Bro, if you don’t cut it out… You a street n***a, right? You’re a rapper? Well, let’s take the fade since you said you gon’ beat me up. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s son Rocky was due this week, sources online say, and there’s reason to believe that he may have already been born. Moreover, the pop-punk drummer reportedly went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles this week, from Monday (October 30) to Thursday (November 2). In addition, TMZ alleges that onlookers also spotted Kylie Jenner at the hospital, which is where most Kardashians have given birth in the past. Considering a previous unclear medical emergency, many fans are speculating that it might finally be time. However, there’s a lot of other things to consider here that might inform this activity.

Of course, this is all purely speculative at the moment, as it’s based on alleged reports, sources, and eyewitnesses. On that note, many sources claim that the due date of this week we mentioned before isn’t just rumors. Also, they suggested that they might induce labor, as Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker previously said they wanted Rocky to be born on Halloween. As such, the baby’s birth this week makes sense. But then again, this could also be due to medical check-ups or other circumstances or emergencies that aren’t as obvious or highly anticipated as this birth.

However, if you’re not interested in childbirth but love the Kardashians, there was also plenty of drama recently to unpack. When you have a reality TV show like The Kardashians airing right now, that’s kind of inevitable. For example, there’s a lot of media focus and public discussion on Kourtney and Kim’s rift, whether it’s right now with their current actions or in the timeframe presented in the program. Travis Barker himself denied speculation that he caused this beef, which is a narrative that many fans love to spew online.

Foolio Is Recovering Well In Hospital Following Shooting

Fortunately, it seems like Foolio is having a swift recovery in the hospital following a Friday (October 6) shooting. For those unaware, one of his parents let his fans know to keep him in their prayers by posting on his Instagram Story over the weekend. In addition, multiple police sources in the Jacksonville area also reported this, detailing that the rapper was shot in the foot. Now, a new picture of him in a hospital bed circulated around social media, seemingly originally posted on an IG Story. However, it’s unclear where this post came from, as there is nothing on Julio Foolio’s social media pages about this as of writing this article.

Furthermore, it could be assumed that this picture comes from one of his family members, friends, industry peers, or other associates. While this is promising news and heartening to see, it seems like law enforcement is no closer to finding the perpetrators of this crime. Little to no updates on the case emerged at press time following the initial news, so local authorities are assumedly still hard at work on a probe. Hopefully they reach a conclusion out soon, as Foolio could suffer more attacks like these if they don’t.

It looks like there actually won’t be a lot of development in this area- at least, from the victim himself. In reports on the shooting, sources also claimed that he said he would not cooperate at all with police officials in this investigation. As such, Foolio is essentially wiping his hands clean of this based on reports, and it’s meaningless to speculate as to why. All that matters is that he’s getting better and will be able to see family and friends soon.

Needless to say, the drama has reached heights that are making a lot of people uncomfortable. Despite everything happening with Blueface, Chrisean does seem to be adjusting to motherhood. Moreover, she has no issue showing off her child to the world. In fact, the new mother has been feeling especially sentimental about the little things. So much so that there is one piece of hardware that she is refusing to take off despite the fact she already gave birth.

When you stay at the hospital, they put a bracelet on to show you are a patient, just in case you leave the premises. However, as Chrisean stated, she never wants to take the bracelet off. For her, it is a piece with sentimental value. After all, it marks the time she gave birth for the first time. That said, we don’t imagine her actually keeping it on forever. Perhaps cutting it off and putting it in a memory box is the way to go.

Chandler Jones Swears That He Was Forced Into A Mental Hospital And Given Unknown Substance

It seems that the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders organization cannot get righ. From Jon Gruden to Henry Ruggs III speeding on the highway, and Damon Arnette waving guns on social media, there is always something wrong. Now, there is Chandler Jones’s behavior that has seen him spiral out of control. At the beginning of September Jones claimed the Raiders sent a “crisis team” to his home saying he was in danger.

Jones thought it was nonsense and he remains confused as to why he is not a part of the team. On top of that, he ranted that he did not want to play for the organization, according to TMZ Sports. He went off on Instagram stories, saying, “They won’t let me in the building tho, tryna provoke a n****.” He went on further, “F*** it, I don’t wanna play for the Raiders.” Now, we just learned more from TMZ Sports that he was forced into a mental hospital.

According to the report, Chandler was told by the Las Vegas Fire Department to come with them against his will. In his Twitter post, he shared some journal entries where he said he was injected with a substance he had never seen or heard of before. Additionally, he was transferred to a second mental hospital. Jones also feels that whoever was behind this was not doing it for the right reasons. Finally, he claims that he contacted the Raiders to help him but to no avail. Surely, there will be more to come on this bizarre and messy situation.
