Big Mota In Critical Condition After Memphis Shooting: Report

Local Memphis rapper Big Mota is currently fighting for his life in a hospital following a deadly shooting, AllHipHop reports. Moreover, the incident took place on Thursday night (October 26) in the city’s Oakhaven section, and local police provided more details and elaborations. Upon their response, they found a car with more than a dozen bullet holes in it, which the rapper and the other victim were assumedly in at the time of the altercation. Unfortunately, the other victim did not recover from their wounds, and authorities pronounced them deceased the following morning. On the other hand, Big Mota went to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, in which he supposedly remains as of writing this article.

However, there are conflicting reports on his status online, so take this report with a tiny grain of salt. At press time, law enforcement officials previously declared that a motive behind the shooting is still unclear. During their investigation, they will hopefully understand if someone targeted Big Mota or if this was a more impromptu situation. Unfortunately for the city of Memphis, the worlds of crime and rap music have had far too much fatal crossover, resulting in a lot of pain around the community.

We wish him a speedy recovery, no further violent incidents, and more success, satisfaction, and safety in his life and career.

Meanwhile, this is sadly the latest in a series of violence that results in lost lives within the Memphis scene. The same can be said in other areas, of course- and that’s not meant to minimize any city or state’s experience with this- but it seems like this community is particularly pained. Whether it’s Blac Youngsta’s brother’s tragic passing or the void left behind in Young Dolph’s wake, we hope that events like these undergo, if not a complete disappearance, at least a conversation about what needs to be done to prevent this from continuing. Foolio Is Recovering Well In Hospital Following Shooting

Fortunately, it seems like Foolio is having a swift recovery in the hospital following a Friday (October 6) shooting. For those unaware, one of his parents let his fans know to keep him in their prayers by posting on his Instagram Story over the weekend. In addition, multiple police sources in the Jacksonville area also reported this, detailing that the rapper was shot in the foot. Now, a new picture of him in a hospital bed circulated around social media, seemingly originally posted on an IG Story. However, it’s unclear where this post came from, as there is nothing on Julio Foolio’s social media pages about this as of writing this article.

Furthermore, it could be assumed that this picture comes from one of his family members, friends, industry peers, or other associates. While this is promising news and heartening to see, it seems like law enforcement is no closer to finding the perpetrators of this crime. Little to no updates on the case emerged at press time following the initial news, so local authorities are assumedly still hard at work on a probe. Hopefully they reach a conclusion out soon, as Foolio could suffer more attacks like these if they don’t.

It looks like there actually won’t be a lot of development in this area- at least, from the victim himself. In reports on the shooting, sources also claimed that he said he would not cooperate at all with police officials in this investigation. As such, Foolio is essentially wiping his hands clean of this based on reports, and it’s meaningless to speculate as to why. All that matters is that he’s getting better and will be able to see family and friends soon.

Meanwhile, this is unfortunately not the only attempt on his life that the Florida MC faced. Much of his space in the public consciousness these days relates to his feuds with other rappers. Victim Of Lil Baby Concert Shooting Reveals His Health Following The Incident

Lil Baby’s Memphis concert resulted in a shocking and dangerous night as shots rang out while he performed with Rylo Rodriguez. Moreover, police are still investigating the incident that resulted in one man sustaining injuries, though fortunately no one else was struck. Similarly fortunate news is that the victim in question is seemingly all healed up now, as he posted a video of him getting ready for the day listening to music. Furthermore, with bandages on his body and a positive attitude, it seems like he fully recovered from what could’ve been a tragic occurrence.

If you’re curious as to who the victim is, who the perpetrator is, and why this all happened, Memphis PD are still looking into it. However, reports indicate that the man who got shot at the Lil Baby concert is Young Dolph’s cousin, CEO Jizzle. Authorities are still searching for the shooter, and investigating how they entered a firearm into the FedEx Forum arena. As such, it’s still a murky case. With time and effort, though, hopefully they can crack down on this for future concerts, both on the tour and at this venue.

Here’s what some of the artists billed to perform had to say about this incident. “Memphis is ghetto as f**k,” GloRilla wrote on social media shortly after the shooting. “We been on this tour this whole f***ing time and today they want to f***ing shoot. It ain’t been a shootout at not a one of these shows… Man, this some ghetto s**t. It ain’t even funny, for real.” Meanwhile, Lil Baby didn’t directly address the shooting, but did issue a statement. Also, he cited “unforeseen circumstances” and announced that he canceled his following show in Kentucky as well.

“Unfortunately I couldn’t perform last night in Memphis,” the 4PF leader wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “Ima make sure everybody gets a refund tho.” As unfortunate, scary, and potentially tragic as this situation is, at least the injured person is back on his feet. Memphis Police Name Prime Suspect In Blac Youngsta’s Brother’s Death

Blac Youngsta and his family recently suffered a tragic loss, that of his brother Tomanuel Benson. Moreover, a shooting at a Memphis gas station in the early hours of Friday, August 18 took his life, and officials soon confirmed his identity. Shortly after, they also issued a call for help in identifying the shooter in question, who they suspected drove off in a vehicle after the crime. To do so, they shared an image from security footage that depicts who they believed was the man responsible. Now, according to Fox News in Memphis, they expressed their belief that they found the prime suspect, and are now searching for him.

Furthermore, the Memphis Police Department reportedly named Randy Ewing as the lead person of interest in this crime. In addition, they also released another image of the individual, which seems to match up at first glance with the earlier image that they released. That was a controversial decision in many’s eyes, since it could ruin the person’s life if they were actually innocent in this scenario. While it’s still not confirmed that Ewing is the man responsible for this tragedy, authorities still brought forth charges of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder.

After news broke of Benson’s death, Blac Youngsta took to Instagram to share a pained and unfortunately vengeful tribute to his brother. “I Love U Baby Brother Rest Up,” the 33-year-old wrote on as an IG Story post. “I’m Gone Make The World Pay. I Swear To God Nobody Safe. Standing Over Everybody. Everybody #4LIFE. Gone Make Sure They Feel Me I Promise. Life Will Never Me The Same But God Got Me. I’m The Strongest Man N The World.”

Meanwhile, this is still a developing case and an open investigation, so this is no surefire assurance of Ewing’s guilt. Still, it’s at least moving along, and hopefully this will prevent more tragedies in the future from occurring for these families and communities. New Photo Shows Person Of Interest In Murder Of Blac Youngsta’s Brother

Blac Youngsta and his family were hit with tragedy recently, after it was revealed that the rapper’s younger brother was the victim of a deadly shooting. The murder of Tomanuel Benson took place at a gas station in Memphis last week, leaving police searching for who’s responsible. According to witnesses, a man in in a passing vehicle was the shooter, but authorities had yet to zero in on a suspect. Now, however, Memphis Police have a very clear image of who they believe could be behind the attack, meaning that they’re closer than ever to bringing him to justice.

Sadly, this wasn’t the rapper’s first time losing a sibling. Blac Youngsta lost his brother Ronnie B back in 2016, as well as his other brother HeavyChampTD in 2019. The Memphis Police Department has shared the image of the alleged murderer on social media, in hopes that it could get them some leads. The image has caused some controversy among users, however. Though it seems like this could be a promising step forward in solving the case, many are claiming that putting the image out could put the man’s life at risk. Police are urging those with any information on the man to come forward.

Ugly God Draws Strong Response From Alleged Victim’s Sister After Flexing On Social Media

Over the last couple of weeks, Ugly God has been embroiled in controversy. Although he has largely been absent from the internet and the music world, he has still managed to make some headlines. According to a report from WLOX in Mississippi, the rapper was arrested. This arrest came in connection with an alleged shooting death of a man named Renaldo Delavallade. The man was 50 years old at the time of his death and just so happens to be the father of the artist’s best friend.

Subsequently, Ugly God was let go by the police, and it doesn’t seem like any charges are on the way. The alleged incident happened in late June, and since that time, the rapper had been radio silent. However, that changed on Friday with an interesting Twitter post. In the Twitter post below, he could be seen posing with cash and even a weapon. “A lot can happen in a year. #dontbelievethehype,” he wrote. This was then called out by Delavallade’s sister, Tishia.

In the tweet up above, Tishia Delavallade goes off on Ugly God for his flexing. Overall, she is not impressed and believes he is faking a lot of his wealth at this point. “YALL WE HAVE A NUMBER #1 STUNNA !!! It’s a very bold post to make, although it is not the first time Tishia has called out Ugly God. She is very upset with the lack of justice, and it seems like she will stop at nothing to make people believe the rapper had something to do with her brother’s passing.

At the time that these developments emerged on social media, no outlets were able to confirm in a surefire way that it was the CMG MC’s relative who had been killed. However, he took to his Instagram Story to share a brief but saddening tribute to his brother. While it was vengeful, heartbroken, and deeply tragic, we hope Youngsta finds the strength to heal healthily and privately amid this loss.

As far as the tragedy itself, it took place on Friday (August 18) at a BP station on South Parkway East around 9:30am in Memphis. Police were able to confirm the event, but not the identity of the deceased individual in question. Regardless, it seems like outlets still caught wind of the relation, as publications like No Jumper claimed that the victim was Blac Youngsta’s brother, though no official source existed for it. With this new tribute message in mind, further details concerning the shooting will likely emerge in the coming days or weeks.

Meanwhile, it’s an especially disheartening loss, given that the two should’ve been enjoying the 33-year-old’s new music releases together.
