Rod Wave Arrested: What We Know

Rod Wave is a 25-year-old rapper from St. Petersburg, Florida. He is best known for his work on tracks such as “Checkmate,” “Heart On Ice,” and “Rags2Riches.” Last week, the soul-trap pioneer became embroiled in a shooting scandal, leaving him briefly incarcerated. Luckily, Rod Wave is already home following his April 3 arrest. Still, the rapper remains under investigation for several items that may, in fact, link him to the crime. Details are still murky as investigators dig deeper into the shooting. Regardless, here’s everything we know about Rod Wave’s arrest at this time.

The Shooting Occurred In A St. Petersburg Bar

According to authorities, the incident happened on the evening of Easter Sunday at Sonic Sports Bar and Lounge. The location was hosting an event which drew a large crowd. This means the shooting could’ve been a random act of violence or a targeted assault on one or more patrons. By all accounts, Rod Wave was not present at the scene during the time that the shooting took place. However, the multiple gunmen are said to have sped off in a vehicle registered to the Florida rapper.

Once authorities traced the vehicle, they discovered it parked at a residence that Rod Wave was renting and subsequently searched the property. The search resulted in multiple assault rifles being recovered, as well as two pounds of marijuana and several other items that have been tagged as additional evidence. Shortly after that, Rod Wave was arrested by authorities under the charge of possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.

Rod Wave Was Freed The Same Day He Was Arrested

Rod Wave was let go for several reasons. Notably, the rapper was incorrectly charged and listed as a convicted felon despite having never been convicted of a crime. Wave’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, elucidated on these erroneous charges in a statement to the press. The lawyer stated, “Rod was arrested and detained with absolutely no evidence of wrongdoing. The police claimed he was a felon in possession of ammunition. Not only was he not in possession of ammunition, a basic check of public records would have easily demonstrated to the police that he was not a convicted felon. The prosecutor and the judge immediately agreed that the evidence did not support the charge and set him free the same day.”

In the aftermath of Rod Wave’s arrest, authorities identified several suspects, including 20-year-old Kevontre Wesby, 21-year-old Keith Wesby, and 24-year-old Christopher Atkins. These young men are allegedly involved with a local gang and are currently considered primary suspects in the ongoing investigation. Their affiliation with Rod Wave is unknown.

Luckily, Nobody Was Killed

The incident, luckily, hasn’t resulted in any deaths, as reports indicate none of the victims were treated for life-threatening injuries. Several individuals between the ages of 17 and 29 sustained minor injuries, and six motor vehicles were pierced with gunfire during the March 29 shootout. For now, Rod Wave is a free man. However, authorities still have questions regarding his affiliation with the suspects, including the use of his vehicle as a getaway ride and the guns and drugs found in his rented residence.

Diddy Was Allegedly Involved In Recording Studio Shooting, Lil Rod Claims

Diddy’s image and likeness has to be at an all-time low at this point. The rap legend’s legacy could be all ruined no matter how all of these allegations and lawsuits play out. The Harlem, New York native has been hit with sexual assault claims, treating co-workers unfairly, and everything in between. Furthermore, there are some believers and rumors floating around that Diddy and Meek Mill were intimately involved with one another. Now, Lil Rod, one of his most recent accusers, is back with some more serious declarations. According to him Diddy was an integral part in a recording studio shooting in Los Angeles.

Uproxx recently reported that this all happened in September 2022 at a producers’ camp at Chalice Recording Studio in LA. Lil Rod says that the shooting involving Diddy all went down after he heard gunshots following an quarrel in a bathroom. In the ensuing moments, Rod recalls that he saw him along with his son, Justin, leave the room. When Rod entered the producer saw Justin’s friend, “G,” on the ground with blood flowing out of his leg.

Furthermore, Diddy said that the reason “G” was bleeding was because of a drive-by, which Rod claims he was told to tell police that. However, there might be a plot hole in the producer’s allegations. The LAPD report says that the shooting involving “G” happened a few blocks away during failed robbery attempt. Additionally, police arrested three people two months later, crediting them with the shooting, most likely the assailants who were trying to rob “G.” Finally, Diddy’s attorney, who has had a busy past couple of months, says that he was not at the camp when the shooting went down.

What are your thoughts on Lil Rod accusing Diddy of a shooting incident at a recording studio? How do you think this allegation will play out? Tory Lanez’s Bodyguard Insinuates Kelsey Harris Could Have Shot Megan Thee Stallion In New Letter

Tory Lanez’s driver and bodyguard, Jauquan Smith, recently submitted a new letter in the case of Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting. According to him, he wanted to testify during Lanez’s trial, but was prevented from doing so by the District Attorney. He identifies Lanez as his former employer as well as a “close personal friend.”

In his letter, Smith claims that he was acting as a driver for Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion, and Kelsey Harris on the evening of Kylie Jenner’s infamous 2020 party. He recalls Meg and Lanez getting into an argument in the car, which ultimately led her to get out and sit at a nearby bus stop. He says that Lanez got out of the vehicle to talk to her, and eventually, they both got back in the car.

Allegedly, Harris and Meg then began to fight “both verbally and physically.” This prompted Smith to stop the car to break things up. At this point, he claims to have allegedly seen a gun in Harris’ hand. He says that Lanez ran towards Harris and struggled to get the weapon from her.

A shot was then fired, though he didn’t see who pulled the trigger. “The whole incident happened so quickly,” he says. “Within [just a] couple of minutes.” He claims to feel “lucky” to have not been injured, and adds that in his opinion, Meg was “fortunate” too. Jackboy’s Brother Shot, Rapper Uninjured Despite Previous Reports

Earlier this morning, Jackboy’s brother was reportedly shot multiple times outside of his Florida home. He was immediately airlifted to a nearby hospital, and is now said to be in “serious” condition. The suspect, who’s not yet been identified, fled the scene in a vehicle. Previous reports suggested that Jackboy had been shot, but the artist told Urban Islandz that it was his sibling shortly after the news began to circulate.

“Preliminary investigation revealed that a young adult male was in his driveway when the suspect approached him and shot him several times,” local authorities shared on Facebook. “This appears to be a targeted attack and there is no immediate threat to the surrounding community,” they also added. “Please avoid the area as there is a heavy police presence.” It remains unclear what prompted the shooting.

Jackboy’s Brother In “Serious” Condition

Fans are hoping that Jackboy’s brother will make a full recovery following the attack. The performer later insisted that their relationship was “not like Chrisean [Rock] and Blueface.” This prompted a fiery response from Chrisean, who made it clear that she didn’t appreciate the reference. “Jack boy shut yo ugly a** up,” she responded. “What I got to with you beating ya b*tch up if I was her both of us would have black eyes not just her with ya small a** n ya dreads would be pulled out … and dats ain’t how u say my name either tf.” Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Foolio Shot In Jacksonville: Report

Jacksonville rapper Foolio was reportedly shot in his home city last night (Friday, October 6), according to various sources. Moreover, the first one people noticed in mass was an Instagram Story post on his account, which seemed to come from one of his parents. “Keep Foolio my son in Yall prayers,” the message read (posted on Saturday, October 7), and including a prayer hands emoji. “He was shot last night in his hating city.” Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be the rapper’s first brush with violence, and we send him our best wishes for a speedy recovery and better days ahead.

In addition, various law enforcement sources reportedly confirmed this incident to WTLV-TV Jacksonville. According to these reports, suspects shot Foolio (real name Charles Jones) in the foot last night, and it’s unknown how worrisome these injuries are as of writing this article. The shooting took place around the 3100 block on 18th Street W. in the city, which is near a residential neighborhood that’s less than a mile away from the Paxon School for Advanced Studies. From what a picture obtained by First Coast News suggests, his black Dodge Challenger (which the Florida MC drove at the time suspects shot him) is full of bullet holes.

Furthermore, sources also told First Coast News that he will not cooperate with police officials in this case. Whether they actually spoke to Foolio or used other information or testimonies is unclear. Another detail these allegations include is that medical authorities took him to U.F. Health Jacksonville for treatment. There’s little else we know about this happening at press time, but surely more details will emerge in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Charles Jones is more well-known for his high-profile rap beef these days, which violence also surrounds with a shroud. It’s been rough to see him go through the motions and lead this life online; not for any posturing or boastfulness, but because of the danger. Hopefully he recovers well after this shooting and doesn’t face any further situations like these. For more news and the latest updates on Foolio, stay logged into HNHH.

Trey Songz Associate Wanted For Alleged Strip Club Shooting

According to the New York Post, one member of Trey Songz’ crew is wanted for a shooting. Reportedly, the performer and his crew were spending time at an NYC strip club, when a verbal altercation took place. Things escalated from there, and eventually shots were fired. Fortunately, nobody was shot as a result of the incident, but Trey Songz’ associate could be facing some legal consequences.

Upon arriving to the scene, police found one shell casing in the club, though two gunshots can be heard in videos taken from outside. Trey Songz was not directly involved in the shooting. Footage captured by security cameras at the venue reportedly confirms this, and shows the chaos that ensued after the gunfire. The man allegedly behind the shooting is described as being in his late 20s, and was last seen in black sweatpants, a black sweatshirt, and some white sneakers. Police are on the look out for the man, who fled the scene shortly after the shooting.

Trey Songz’ Crew Member Involved In Shooting

Though Trey Songz isn’t directly responsible for the shooting, he is currently dealing with some legal troubles of his own. Earlier this year, a woman filed a lawsuit against him for alleged sexual assault. According to the suit, he exposed her breasts at a casino in 2013 without her consent. His team is trying to get the case thrown out, calling on the three-year statute of limitations.

Earlier this year, a woman who accused Trey Songz of raping her her in 2016 also refiled her lawsuit against him. A judge had previously dismissed it due to the statue of limitations expiring. In the $25 million suit, she says the alleged attack caused her “severe physical and emotional injury.” She also alleges that another musician tried to threaten her into silence, telling her to “keep [Songz’s] name out of her f*cking mouth or he’d kill her.” Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Trey Songz.

ASAP Rocky & His Lawyer Sued By ASAP Relli For Defamation

It looks like the seemingly paused legal case between A$AP Rocky and A$AP Relli just got a huge reopening. For those unaware, the latter sued the former for allegedly shooting him in 2021, a civil case that they paused in December of last year. Moreover, now Relli sued Rocky again, but this time for defamation, and also added his lawyer Joe Tacopina as a defendant according to legal docs reportedly obtained by TMZ. Specifically, the ASAP Mob member claims that the attorney defamed him during a campaign defending the New York rapper. Not only that, but he claims that the father of two directed Tacopina to portray Relli as a cash-hungry, deceitful extortionist.

“Rocky didn’t commit a crime,” Tacopina said of ASAP Rocky’s alleged shooting in an article reportedly cited by this new suit. “It was an extortion attempt by a former associate, who threatened to make false, criminal accusations if Rocky didn’t pay him.” Furthermore, ASAP Relli wants an unspecified amount in damages in this case, as he stated he received death threats and online harassment due to what he claims are lies about him and the shooting. The “RIOT” MC pled not guilty in the case.

“This is actually nothing more than a publicity stunt which is going to backfire badly,” ASAP Rocky’s lawyer told TMZ. “I more than welcome this lawsuit especially because the resolution of the criminal case has not happened yet. This opens up this extortionist to depositions under oath now before the resolution of the criminal case. It will expose the fraud he committed and unfortunately for his lawyers, it will cause them to be responsible for legal fees in this case.

“They don’t know the facts of this case or the actions taken by their client,” he continued. “But I will be more than happy to educate them.” This further complicated an already murky legal battle, and reopened it in the public eye. We’ll see if anything significant comes from this, and if it actually ends up resolving the present shooting debacle. On that note, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on ASAP Rocky and ASAP Relli’s lawsuits.

Ugly God Draws Strong Response From Alleged Victim’s Sister After Flexing On Social Media

Over the last couple of weeks, Ugly God has been embroiled in controversy. Although he has largely been absent from the internet and the music world, he has still managed to make some headlines. According to a report from WLOX in Mississippi, the rapper was arrested. This arrest came in connection with an alleged shooting death of a man named Renaldo Delavallade. The man was 50 years old at the time of his death and just so happens to be the father of the artist’s best friend.

Subsequently, Ugly God was let go by the police, and it doesn’t seem like any charges are on the way. The alleged incident happened in late June, and since that time, the rapper had been radio silent. However, that changed on Friday with an interesting Twitter post. In the Twitter post below, he could be seen posing with cash and even a weapon. “A lot can happen in a year. #dontbelievethehype,” he wrote. This was then called out by Delavallade’s sister, Tishia.

Ugly God Gets Called Out

In the tweet up above, Tishia Delavallade goes off on Ugly God for his flexing. Overall, she is not impressed and believes he is faking a lot of his wealth at this point. “YALL WE HAVE A NUMBER #1 STUNNA !!! Yall please give him a round of applause, lil PISSY UGLY GOD for flashing the most amount of fake money!!!!!” she said. It’s a very bold post to make, although it is not the first time Tishia has called out Ugly God. She is very upset with the lack of justice, and it seems like she will stop at nothing to make people believe the rapper had something to do with her brother’s passing.

This remains a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the music world. Additionally, let us know what you think of all of this, down below. We will always be sure to keep you informed.

Blac Youngsta’s Brother Reportedly Killed In Memphis Shooting

A man killed in a shooting at a gas station in Memphis on August 18 has reportedly been identified as the brother of rapper Blac Youngsta. Police report that a man was killed at a BP station on South Parkway East a little after 9:30AM on Friday. No Jumper has since claimed that this individual was the brother of the local rapper. However, the outlet did not identify a source for this information. No statement to this effect has been released on any social media account associated with the rapper and it is unclear where No Jumper has sourced this information from.

Blac Youngsta is best known for his singles “Hip-Hopper” and “Booty”. However, his last three albums have failed to chart and he is yet to release a single this year. Furthermore, he is also associated with a beef involving the late Young Dolph. In May 2017, Youngsta surrendered to police on charges involving over 100 rounds being fired into the SUV of Dolph. He was charged with six counts before being granted bond. Furthermore, Youngsta’s charges were dropped in 2019.

Young Dolph Fans Celebrate Death Reports Of Blac Youngsta’s Brother

As mentioned, the reports that it was Youngsta’s brother who was killed are unconfirmed. However, one sentiment prevailed in the comments section of the No Jumper post announcing the news – dolphins. Fans of Young Dolph showed out in force to drop dolphin emojis and gifs of the aquatic mammals. It’s clear that, given Youngsta’s beef with the late Memphis rapper, there is very little love lost or sympathy given over this alleged news.

Speaking of Young Dolph, there were new reports in the ongoing investigation of his murder this week. Hernandez Govan, the alleged mastermind of Dolph’s murder, was absolutely torn a new one by the presiding judge, Lee Coffee. Judge Coffee berated Govan in a nearly eight-minute speech after Govan filed a motion to have his bond restrictions lessened. It was also revealed that Govan had left violated his house arrest on several occasions. “That’s a violation of your bond,” Coffee said. ” I don’t know who gave you permission, but unless you hear from Judge Coffee..it can’t be done unless it’s approved by this court.”
