Diddy’s Lawyers Have Reportedly Filed A Motion To Have Several Claims In ‘Revenge Porn’ Lawsuit Dismissed

Diddy’s legal team is attempting to chip away at the mounting claims stacked against him. Following the bombshell lawsuit filed by his former Bad Boy Records signee Cassie, Diddy was named in several similar sexual assault cases. While, the mogul quickly settled with his ex-girlfriend, Diddy seems to be preparing to fight the outstanding allegations in a court of law.

However, according to AP News, Diddy’s lawyers are looking to reduce the amount of allegations made against him.

The outlet reports that on April 26, Diddy’s legal filed a motion to have the claims made by Joi Dickerson-Deal, including revenge porn and human trafficking, to be dismissed with prejudice. On November 23, Dickerson-Deal issued a lawsuit against Diddy (obtained by Rolling Stone), in which she alleged that Diddy drugged and sexual assaulted. She also claims that the encounter was filmed and shared by Diddy amongst his close associates.

In the motion, Diddy’s lawyers reportedly argued that he “cannot be sued because certain laws didn’t exist when Joi Dickerson-Deal made the allegations against him in 1991,” referring to revenge porn which wasn’t signed in to New York state law (the place of filing) until 2019.

“Without addressing the Complaint’s numerous false, offensive, and salacious accusations, which the Combs Defendants vehemently deny, substantially all of the claims purportedly alleged by Joi Dickerson-Neal (“Plaintiff” or “Dickerson”) cannot survive this Motion to Dismiss because they were brought under statutes that did not exist at the time the alleged misconduct occurred and against corporate entities that were not formed or in existence,” read the motion.

Dickerson-Deal’s attorney has not issued a public statement regarding the motion.

Lil Rod Claims He’s Got Diddy On Tape Admitting To Crimes

Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones claims he has a recording of Diddy admitting to a litany of crimes, including pressuring artists into record deals, inappropriate sexual acts, tax evasion, and more. He made the claim in a sworn affidavit to the court in his sexual assault lawsuit against the Bad Boy mogul, according to AllHipHop. Jones got to know Diddy while working on his latest project, The Love Album: Off the Grid.

“He shared how he would get things by force,” Lil Rod explained. “This included record deals, signatures on contracts, sex acts from women and men, as well as the women of his enemies. He bragged about departed attorney Johnny Cochran’s savvy legal skills and ability to pay off the witnesses through private investigators and other third parties.”

Jones added: “Mr. Combs bragged about the power he has and the fact that he beat up record executive Steve Stoute’s ‘ass.’ He laughed uncontrollably as he talked about busting him in the head with a bottle of champagne and a chair. On another occasion, Mr. Combs bragged about beating up Gerard Rechnitzer outside of a nightclub in Hollywood. Mr. Combs also informed me that only poor people pay taxes. He shared that it is a common practice in the music industry to wire money from anonymous accounts overseas. This way, if there is ever a need to take care of a problem, it would never be traced back to him. These accounts were in Germany.”

Diddy and his legal team have already vehemently denied the allegations stemming from the lawsuit. His attorney labeled Jones, “nothing more than a liar” and accused him of “shamelessly looking for an undeserved payday” after he filed the lawsuit. 50 Cent Admits Lil Rod’s Diddy Lawsuit “Might Be Some Bullsh*t”

Following reports that Diddy‘s sexual assault accuser, Lil Rod, has yet to speak with federal agents regarding the investigation into the Bad Boy mogul, 50 Cent has admitted that the producer’s lawsuit may be “some bullsh*t.” Sharing the news on Instagram, Sunday, 50 asked: “Wait a minute this sh*t might be some bull sh*t, how they didn’t talk to him yet?”

The admission comes after 50 has been using the claims made in the lawsuit to troll both Diddy and Stevie J on numerous occasions in recent weeks. Rod accused Diddy of sexual assault but mentioned several other celebrities as being involved in various incidents as well.

We have overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies. Our attempts to share this proof with [Lil Rod]’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”

Diddy & Lil Rod Lawsuit: Rodney Jones’ Lawyer Under Scrutiny For Past Litigation Concerns

Rodney Jones, also known as Lil Rod, launched a staggering $30 million lawsuit against Diddy for sexual assault and sex trafficking claims with the help of lawyer Tyrone Blackburn. However, it seems like they may be in for more trouble than they thought. Moreover, Judge Denise Cote referred Blackburn to the Southern District of New York’s Grievances Committee on Wednesday (April 3), according to court documents obtained by AllHipHop. In them, he’s accused of “disturbing” past litigation, including deliberately salacious lawsuits in Federal Court. Judge Cote believes there’s a pattern in the attorney’s behavior that demonstrates he files cases to leverage the Federal Court process in his favor.

Specifically, Judge Cote accused Diddy’s accuser’s lawyer of purposefully attracting media attention to his cases, defaming defendants with unfounded and scandalous claims, and wriggling a rapid settlement out of them. Similar and recent accusations also emerged against lawyers Liane Fisher and Michael J. Taubenfeldckburn. In addition, she alleged that Blackburn did not properly file cases in their appropriate districts and brought up five instances of his continued action despite this lack of due diligence. Apparently, his case did not fall within Rule 11 obligations (which ensures that accusations are well-founded), something the Court is now very troubled with.

“A reasonable inference from Blackburn’s pattern of behavior is that he improperly files cases in federal court to garner media attention, embarrass defendants with salacious allegations, and pressure defendants to settle quickly,” Judge Cote wrote of Diddy’s prosecutor. “Regardless of Blackburn’s intentions, his actions in this and prior cases indicate a repeated failure to meet his Rule 11 obligations.” UMG CEO Sir Lucian Grainge also reportedly considered to sanction Blackburn for Rule 11 violations, and he’s a defendant in the Sean Combs lawsuit. Depending on what the Grievance Committee concludes, this judicial admonishment could impact other high-profile cases of his.

For example, Blackburn also sued Nicki Minaj, Kenneth Petty, T.I., Tiny, and more. As such, this could have pretty hefty consequences for his legal career. Nevertheless, the claims against (or for) the Bad Boy executive remain officially uncharged, unconfirmed, but nonetheless rightfully scrutinized under law enforcement. Christian Combs Accused Of Sexually Assaulting & Drugging Woman, New Lawsuit Alleges

Christian “King” Combs is facing accusations of sexually assaulting and drugging a woman in a new lawsuit that the alleged victim will file soon, according to attorney Tyrone Blackburn. No further details on the victim are available. Blackburn is also representing the producer, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who is one of several alleged victims suing Combs’ father, Diddy, for sexual assault and more. The lawsuit comes after Christian remarked, “Stop with the [cap emoji],” on his Instagram Story, last week.

At the time, his fans assumed the message was in response to Homeland Security raiding the family’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami. Police detained both Christian and his older brother, Justin, as they made their way through the home. They later released the two with no charges. Diddy was flying from California to the Caribbean.

Diddy’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, labeled the raids a “gross overuse of military-level force.” He also clarified in a statement: “Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way.”

While Christian appears to have yet to address the lawsuit officially, Diddy’s legal team previously accused Jones of reckless “name-dropping” and claimed to have “overwhelming, indisputable proof that his claims are complete lies.” In a statement, they added: “Our attempts to share this proof with Mr. Jones’ attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, have been ignored, as Mr. Blackburn refuses to return our calls. We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Christian Combs and Diddy on HotNewHipHop.

UMG Rebuffed Lil Rod’s Diddy Lawsuit In A Fiery Response Calling His Claims ‘A Delusion Or A Lie’

Universal Music Group would have had enough legal drama to deal with from its row with TikTok over streaming royalties. Unfortunately for Sir Lucian Grainge (CEO of UMG), the company now finds itself drawn into the legal ruckus between Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In Jones’ controversial sexual harassment suit against Combs, he’s alleged that the music mogul’s supposed transgressions have involved a number of celebrities and fellow recording industry higher-ups, including Grainge, Usher, Yung Miami, and even the UK’s Prince Harry. However, in a new court filing UMG blasted Jones and his accusations as its lawyers argued for UMG to be dismissed from the ongoing suit. In addition, UMG wants legal penalties levied against attorney Tyrone Blackburn, who filed Jones’ lawsuit.

In the new filing, which was shared on Twitter by legal affairs journalist Meghann Cuniff and reported by Billboard, Universal’s attorney Donald Zakarin writes:

“A license to practice law is a privilege. Mr. Blackburn, plaintiff’s lawyer, has misused that license to self-promote, gratuitously, falsely and recklessly accusing the UMG defendants of criminal behavior… The [complaint] hurls accusations of criminal racketeering and criminal sex trafficking against the UMG defendants, respected individuals and companies having utterly nothing to do with plaintiff’s claims. These accusations are recklessly false and, but for the fact that they are embodied in a complaint, would be libelous.

…I have never seen any lawyer, in any pleading, in any court, accuse people and companies of criminal conduct without the slightest basis and then try to file an amended pleading completely jettisoning every allegation underpinning the original claims and substituting completely different and irreconcilable allegations to support the very same claims.”

The response refutes claims that Grainge has ever been to one of Diddy’s supposed “freak parties,” and points out that the only UMG entity with dealings with Combs was Motown, to distribute one album, The Love Album: Off The Grid. You can see the filing in part below:

Yung Miami’s Team Refutes Drug Trafficking Accusation In Diddy Lawsuit

It’s been a turbulent few months for Diddy and as a result, for his girlfriend. City Girls rapper Yung Miami has already been facing quite a bit of backlash for her silence on the numerous accusations being made against Diddy. He was even edited out of a reality show following the singer that dropped earlier this year. But recently she was forced into the mix following a raid on two of Diddy’s properties earlier this week.

Following the raids, there were completely unsubstantiated rumors online that Miami was serving as an informant. While she didn’t respond to those claims, once she was added to an actual lawsuit she hit back quickly. Producer Lil Rod’s lawsuit has been one of the most notable filed against Diddy and an update made through his lawyer mentioned Miami directly. It claimed she was serving as a drug trafficker for the rap mogul securing and selling tuci. Miami’s legal team hit back quickly with receipts. They claim that the specific time cited in the lawsuit the rapper was getting fitted for her elaborate Met Gala dress. That puts her in New York at the time of the lawsuits claims, far away from Diddy and his crew in Virginia.

Yung Miami’s Lawyers Hit Back At Lawsuit Claim

While Miami’s lawyers have been hard at work refuting the allegations against her, she’s continued working. Earlier this week she hit back at a fan on Twitter suggesting she may have been caught up in the raids somehow. Even after the drug trafficking allegations hit she was still on her grind. She shared a preview of an upcoming single she has with Skilla Baby that she’s been promoting for a few weeks now. Unsurprisingly, the tease was met with quite a few jokes from fans online given the circumstances.

What do you think of Yung Miami’s lawyers pulling out receipts after she was mentioned in Lil Rod’s lawsuit? Do you think Miami will face any consequences from her association with Diddy? Let us know in the comment section below.

Court Docs Accuse Yung Miami of Bringing Cocaine to Festival Performance for Diddy

Yung Miami Has Fun Weekend in the Streets with Diddy

The accusations surrounding Diddy continue to fly, this time bringing in Yung Miami.

According to XXL, amended court docs from Lil Rod state Diddy had an affinity for “pink cocaine,” which is a combination of ecstasy and cocaine obtained from drug dealer Brendan Paul.

In court docs, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones says while Diddy was preparing for an appearance at The Something in the Water Festival in Virginia, he did lines of coke.

“Defendant Sean Combs wanted tuci, but Brendan forgot it, so Defendant Kristina Khorram called Yung Miami,” the docs read. “Who then brought it on the private jet from Miami.”

The feud between Diddy and Lil Rod traces back to a legal battle initiated by Lil Rod, whose real name is Rodney Williams. Lil Rod alleges copyright infringement and breach of contract against Diddy’s record label, Bad Boy Records. Lil Rod claims that Diddy’s label unlawfully used his music without proper compensation or credit. As tensions escalated in the courtroom, the situation took a dark turn when accusations emerged of harassment targeted at Lil Rod’s family, particularly his daughter.

You can read more of Lil Rod’s claims here and here.

What Is Pink Cocaine, The Drug Yung Miami Allegedly Smuggled For Diddy?

The timeline of allegations and lawsuits surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs since last November is approaching novel length. On Monday, March 25, Diddy’s Los Angeles mansion was raided by Homeland Security “in connection with a federal sex trafficking case,” as first reported by FOX 11 Los Angeles. TMZ additionally reported that a raid was carried out at Diddy’s Miami residence. Homeland Security’s statement remained vague, while Diddy’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, released a statement maintaining Diddy’s innocence, as relayed by ABC News.

By Tuesday, March 26, Diddy reportedly sold his shares in Revolt to an anonymous buyer, and Rolling Stone reported that Diddy’s alleged drug “mule,” 25-year-old Brendan Paul, was “taken into custody by Miami-Dade police,” who were working alongside Homeland Security. TMZ circulated videos of Diddy outside a Miami airport at the time of the raids as he was reportedly preparing to leave for the Caribbean.

So, what does this have to do with Yung Miami?

What Is Pink Cocaine, The Drug Yung Miami Allegedly Smuggled For Diddy?

As per USA Today, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr.’s civil lawsuit was filed against Diddy in February, but he filed an amendment in New York federal district court on Monday that implicated Yung Miami by alleging she and other women “were paid a monthly fee to work as Mr. Combs’ sex workers.” She also brought tuci (also referred to as pink cocaine) to Diddy.

According to the National Library Of Medicine, pink cocaine majorly contains “ketamine, often combined with 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), methamphetamine, cocaine, opioids, and/or new psychoactive substances.” Its effects are more similar to ecstasy, making its name something of a misnomer.

As the bad news continues to pour in for Sean “Diddy” Combs, more of the people in his orbit have been pulled into the drama surrounding the lawsuit filed by Rod “Lil Rod” Jones. According to XXL, Jones’ most recent amendment, filed on Monday, now levels a number of eyebrow-raising accusations at Yung Miami, Diddy’s rumored paramour, with whom he’s had a very public association, although both have refused to label their relationship as such.

Jones accuses Miami of both carrying drugs for Combs and of being a sex worker being paid a monthly retainer by Diddy, according to USA Today. Jones said Miami, real name Caresha Brownlee, was one of three women Combs kept on retainer, including wellness coach Jade Ramey and model/actress Daphne Joy. Incidentally, the latter is most notable for her connection with Curtis Jackson — better known as 50 Cent — the father of her 10-year-old son Sire. 50 has notably trolled his ex over her alleged association with Combs, which could be seen as at least part of why he’s carried on a one-sided feud with the fellow music mogul.

Jones’ lawsuit says Miami brought Combs a drug called “tuci” from Miami to Virginia via private plane when his alleged drug mule, Brendan Paul, forgot to bring it along. Tuci is also known as “pink cocaine” and is a synthetic drug made of pink food coloring, strawberry flavoring, ketamine, caffeine, and MDMA. Its effects are similar to those of ecstasy, rather than cocaine, according to drug treatment facilities such as The Willough at Naples and Avenues Recovery.
