Young Dolph’s Accused Murderer Meets New Judge

Last month, it was revealed that the man accused of being behind Young Dolph’s murder would have a new judge assigned to his trial. The suspect, Hernandez Govan, met the new judge who will oversee his case for the first time earlier this week, Judge Jennifer Mitchell. Govan was charged in connection to the Memphis rapper’s murder along with three other men, Justin Johnson, Cornelius Smith, and Jermarcus Johnson.

He allegedly planned the attack. The other men are accused of stealing the vehicle used to carry it out, and firing off the deadly gunshots. Young Dolph was shot several times at his favorite bakery, Makeda’s Homemade Cookies, in November of 2021. The judge formrely overseeing the case, Judge Lee Coffee, was removed due to his alleged mistreatment of Justin Johnson. “It would appear to a reasonable person that Judge Coffee has a prejudice of a personal character directed at the defendant,” the Court of Criminal Appeals said of his removal.

Justin Johnson, also known by rap moniker Straight Drop, released a song called “No Statements” last year from behind bars. Coffee later called the facility Johnson was at and had them put him in administrative isolation. The warden claims that no rules were broken by Johnson recording the song.

Govan was released from jail earlier this year on a $90K bond, and has since been on house arrest. During his meeting in the courtroom with Judge Mitchell on Thursday (November 2), she simply urged him not to violate his bond ahead of his next court appearance. His next appearance in scheduled for December 14 of this year. What do you think of Hernandez Govan meeting the new judge overseeing his case for the first time? Rico Recklezz Slams FBG Duck’s Mom, Claims Her Son Didn’t “Make The Cut”

The mother of late rapper FBG Duck, LaSheena Weekly, has continued to be vocal about who she believes was involved in her son’s murder. Previously, she’s alleged that King Von put $100K on Duck’s head, claiming that she felt betrayed by those responsible his death. She’s also said that those behind his 2020 shooting have already been “telling on themselves,” leaving little room for speculation.

Now, Rico Recklezz has appeared on No Jumper with a message for Weekly, and it appears as though he has little sympathy for her. According to the rapper, instead of celebrating the incarceration of Duck’s alleged killers, she should be trying to “do better.” He seemingly suggested that Duck’s death was a result of his own actions, claiming that Weekly should have advised her son not to mess with him. “She on that, ‘Y’all finna go to jail, yeah I can’t wait y’all killed my son!’ B*tch, your son was out here trying to play Hunger Games and couldn’t f*cking make the cut. F*ck you talkin’ bout b*tch, I ain’t showing you no motherf*ckin’ respect,” he said.

Rico Recklezz With A Message For FBG Duck’s Mother

His rant didn’t stop there, however. Rico Recklezz added that if she had told Duck to stop “playing” with him, “his a** wouldn’t have got dropped.” Back in 2020, FBG Duck was shot at least 16 times outside of a Dolce & Gabbana store in Chicago. This resulted in his untimely death at the age of 26. Earlier this month, jury selection for the trial of six men accused of being involved in FBG Duck’s death began.

Prosecutors claim that the six alleged rival gang members publicly admitted to their involvement following Duck’s death. What do you think of Rico Recklezz’s message to FBG Duck’s mother? Do you think he has a point, or were his comments disrespectful? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Mad Muzik Cali Accused Of Murdering His Pregnant Ex Girlfriend

Mad Muzik Cali, born Justin Rene Lewis, was recently arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Raesha Heard. According to reports, 31-year-old Heard was killed while bringing groceries into her parents’ Georgia home earlier this month. Sadly, she was two months pregnant when she was shot “multiple times.” The rapper has been charged with one count of malice murder.

Police reports claim she was hit “twice in the back, once in the chest, leg and head.” The tragic incident also played out in front of her nine-year-old son. Allegedly, the “child’s father” had asked her to terminate the pregnancy, though Lewis says there’s only a “possibility” that the child was his.

Mad Muzik Cali Arrested, Charged With Malice Murder

The police report also states that the same man had fired shots towards Heard’s car just “a few months earlier,” though the incident hadn’t been reported. She hadn’t been injured at the time due to the fact that “the clip fell out the weapon.” In 2017, Lewis was also a suspect in the murder of his ex-wife Sidni Dalcour, but was never charged. The Shade Room’s Justin Carter spoke with Dalcour’s sister Traci, who detailed the alleged abuse that Sidni endured throughout their relationship. “She was married to Justin for five years — he was really abusive to her. He fought her a lot like he gave her black eyes, he put her in the hospital, she had to have staplers in her head,” she alleged.

Delcour was similarly found “shot to death” in her car in New Orleans in May of 2017. According to the late woman’s cousin, Moriah Dyer, Lewis was suspected by her family right away. “We all instantly knew he had something to do with it,” she said. “Like my cousin said, she [Sidni] had no problems with nobody. She was loved. She was adored by everybody.” Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Dan Serafini Of MLB Fame Arrested For Alleged Murder Of Father-In-Law

Authorities in Nevada arrested former MLB baseball player Dan Serafini, 49, in connection to the murder of his father-in-law and attempted murder of his mother-in-law in 2021, California’s Placer County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) announced. Moreover, police also apprehended suspect Samantha Scott, 33, in Las Vegas. Serafini previously pitched for the Minnesota Twins, the Chicago Cubs, and various other professional teams throughout his career. Furthermore, his arrest follows a two-year investigation into a 2021 incident that left 70-year-old Robert Gary Spohr deceased and attempted to do the same to 68-year-old Wendy Wood. The perpetrator (or several) shot them in their North Lake Tahoe home, but only Wood recovered from her injuries, although she passed away a year later.

While Placer County awaits Dan Serafini and Samantha Scott’s extradition, they shared more information on the incident in question. On the day of the murder, video surveillance showed a hooded male figure with a face-covering mask and backpack went to Spohr and Wood’s house hours before the crime. The PCSO complied a lot of evidence in this investigation thanks to detective follow-ups and collaboration with the District Attorney’s office. All this led them to believe that Serafini and Scott are suspects, as both have ties to the victims and each other.

PCSO Announces Dan Serafini’s Arrest

“Today, justice was served,” remarked Placer County Sheriff Wayne Woo in this statement about Dan Serafini’s arrest. “The apprehension of those responsible for the tragic events that unfolded in Homewood, North Lake Tahoe in 2021 stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication of our detectives, law enforcement partners, and the persistence of our pursuit of truth. Understand that my team’s commitment to unraveling the most complex of cases prevails. Those who inflict harm upon our community will [face accountability] every time.”

However, other revelations point to Serafini and Scott having other crimes to answer for. The former, according to NBC News, is an inmate in the Humboldt County Detention Center and faces fugitive from justice charges. The same goes for Scott who, in Clark County Detention Center records, has charges of law in evasion another state. Keefe D’s Indictment Claims He Was Seeking “Retribution” Against 2Pac And Suge Knight

Yesterday (September 29), Las Vegas police finally made an arrest in the murder of Tupac Shakur. Duane “Keefe D” Davis was taken into custody and charged with murder with a deadly weapon for the 1996 shooting, though he’s not believed to have pulled the trigger. Instead, authorities have gotten him on grounds of aiding or abetting. They believe that he planned the attack, and provided the murder weapon to his nephew.

Now, his indictment has made its way online, courtesy of Meghann Cuniff. She notes that he’s named as having gotten the gun “for the purpose of seeking retribution against Tupac Amaru Shakur and/or Marion Knight aka ‘Suge.’” He’s also listed as committing the alleged crime in order to further the South Side Compton Crips.

Keefe D’s Indictment Unveiled

Keefe D is currently being held without bail, and is scheduled to be formally arraigned on October 4. Investigators have had their sights set on him for some time. His wife’s home was searched by police earlier in the summer, and they removed various items that they believed could be evidence. Keefe D’s also spoken about the case for years, even claiming himself that he gave his nephew the gun.

Though it’s safe to say that many were glad to see a new development in the case, 2Pac’s sister recently issued a statement revealing that she won’t feel closure until all legal proceedings are carried out. “This is no doubt a pivotal moment,” she explained. “The silence of the past 27 years surrounding this case has spoken loudly in our community. It’s important to me that the world, the country, the justice system, and our people acknowledge the gravity of the passing of this man, my brother, my mother’s son, my father’s son. His life and death matters, and should not go unsolved or unrecognized.” What do you think of police finally making an arrest in 2Pac’s 1996 murder? Aspiring Rapper Charged With Murder After Seemingly Confessing In Song

Up-and-coming rapper The Biggest Finn4800, born Kenjuan McDaniel, was arrested earlier this week for alleged murder. Police accuse the Nevada-born artist of being responsible for shooting and killing a man back in 2021. Witness accounts suggest that McDaniel was the one behind the alleged murder. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, detectives also think he rapped about it in his song “Fadee Free.” On top of murder with the deadly weapon, McDaniel was also charged for violating his probation. He’s currently being held without bail.

The alleged victim, Randall Wallace, was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering a single gunshot to the head. Witnesses believe that Wallace wasn’t the shooter’s intended target. They claim they saw a Black male leaving the crime scene in a white car, but nobody fessed up to knowing who was behind the fatal shooting. Eventually, authorities were able to gather information pointing to McDaniel.

The Biggest Finn4800 Accused Of Shooting And Killing Man

“Fadee Free” was released in July of this year, and contains some pretty coincidental lyrics. “I be the reason why he’s dead, we still taunt him when he die/ not the reason he’s dead, so celebrate the reason why his momma cry,” McDaniel rhymes in the track. Police also claim that the song contains details of the shooting that weren’t otherwise made public. McDaniel’s next hearing is scheduled for the end of this month, on September 29.

It’s clear that gun violence continues to be a major issue. At the end of last month, family and friends were met with the tragic news that Freebandz Tray Tray was shot and killed in Chicago. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unconfirmed. Amid the news, Future took to social media to share a message about his artist’s death. “Forever brodie,” he captioned a clip of the two of them. “Real love never die,” he also added. “What’s understood [don’t] need to [be] explained. Get yo rest g.” Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

YNW Melly Juror Calls Murder Case “A Really Bad Situation Of Being Framed”

YNW Melly is currently behind bars awaiting his second murder trial. The 24-year-old is accused of killing two YNW associates, SakChaser and Juvy, back in 2018. His defense claims that the young men were killed as a result of a drive-by shooting, however, prosecutors believe he shot them from within the vehicle. If he’s convicted, he could be facing the death penalty. In July, jurors were unable to come to a unanimous decision as to whether or not he’s guilty, leading the judge to rule a mistrial.

Now, one of the jurors from the first trial has come forward, making some serious claims about the case. The anonymous juror has alleged that Melly was framed for double murder. “I believe that he didn’t do it and it wasn’t proved in court,” they explained. “This was a really bad situation of being framed.” The former juror further claims that “Melly was a very good person,” adding that he “always tried to help out people around him.”

Juror Says “Melly Was A Very Good Person”

At the beginning of last month, a former juror also said that jury manipulation is what led to the mistrial. They accused one woman on the jury of being “explosive and “manipulative,” further claiming that she’d go off on other jurors who didn’t share her same opinion. According to the juror, she was set on acquitting Melly. In August, the lead detective on Melly’s case, Detective M. Moretti, also had a motion filed against him for allegedly using “excessive force” on a witness.

Melly’s retrial is scheduled to begin in October. The rapper now only needs an 8-4 vote in order to give him the death penalty under Florida state law. In October, YNW Bortlen will also begin his own trial. He drove the victims to the hospital the evening of the shooting, and was also the only living person believed to have been with Melly at the time. According to Bryson “Boom” Paul, Melly will appear in court on September 15 to discuss his request for bond. Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on YNW Melly.

Aspiring Rapper 23 Brazy Accused Of Murdering 10-Year-Old

Police are currently on the lookout for aspiring Norfolk rapper 23 Brazy, born Tashawnda Nicole Drayton. Authorities believe that she’s responsible for the death of a 10-year-old boy, La’Marj Deshawn Holden, who the rapper allegedly shot earlier this month in Franklin, Virginia. Drayton appears to be on the run from authorities, according to the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force. Officials are looking to charge her with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, two counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling, and more.

The alleged shooting also led to some injuries for an unnamed adult man. Drayton’s connection to the alleged victims is currently unknown. Authorities have released a description of 23 Brazy, describing her as African American with black hair and brown eyes, standing at 5-foot-11 and 250 lbs. They also claim that she has a tattoo of her rap moniker on their forehead in red ink, as well as a tattoo reading “only loyalty” just above her left eyebrow.

23 Brazy Is On The Run

Authorities are offering a reward of up to $5K to those able to provide information leading to her arrest. They also claim that she should be considered “armed and dangerous.” It appears as though 23 Brazy’s most recent project came out earlier this year, with a music video for the song “Lonely” dropping in June. She also did a performance of the track on the YouTube channel My Block LIVE in April. The self-proclaimed “hottest female in the city” had appeared on the series again back in February of 2022, performing “Let’s Go.”

In a recording obtained by 10 On Your Side, neighbors are heard reporting the sound of gunfire. “I’m hearing gunshots over here. Somebody’s been shot. Police on the end of Artis Street,” a man tells 911 dispatchers. One woman claims to have been sleeping when the sound woke her up. “A whole bunch of shots fired, a whole bunch, a whole bunch. I was asleep, I was asleep, about six, seven or eight. Yes, I was asleep. Loud, loud,” she explains.
