Kendrick Lamar’s “N95” Ghostwriter Rumors Debunked, CJ Francis Speaks Out

Rumors that Kendrick Lamar used a ghostwriter for his song, “N95,” have been debunked by the rapper who is at the center of the drama, CJ Francis. Taking to his Instagram Story, over the weekend, he denied any involvement in the making of the track. He wrote: “I had nothing to do with that song. Nor do I have anything to do with it being posted online.”

The drama started when a user on social media made the claim while sharing a snippet of Francis rapping over the “N95” beat. “Quentin Miller associate CJ Francis IV ghostwriting for Kendrick Lamar. This is his demo of N95 (2022). I’d say this is a collab, but his name isn’t on the credits [ghost emoji],” they wrote. Soon after, a screenshot of a 2022 tweet from the user @ItsNotHarold began circulating that read: “My boy CJ Francis IV wrote on the Kendrick project man I’m so f*ckin gassed for my boy!!!! He one of the most talented people in the world bro this sh*t is so next level!!!”

Kendrick Lamar Accepts Best Rap Album Grammy For “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”

The drama comes as Lamar and Drake have been feuding in recent weeks. Lamar kicked things off with his verse on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” last month. On the song, he complained about being considered in the same tier as Drake and J. Cole. Drake finally responded with the unofficial track, “Push Ups,” over the weekend, although it was leaked and not put out by the Toronto rapper himself.

Kendrick Lamar Accused Of Using Ghostwriter Amid Drake Beef, Reference Track Surfaces

As his war with Drake just escalated in a massive way today (Saturday, April 13) thanks to an alleged leaked diss track from Aubrey, Kendrick Lamar now has another big headline to worry about. Moreover, a Twitter user by the name of @certifiedjared and various other social media pages claimed that he used a ghostwriter on the track “N95” off of his 2022 album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. The presumed ghostwriter in question is CJ Francis IV, and a demo also surfaced that’s supposedly from 2019 in which you can hear Francis use the flow and some of the lyrics that the Compton rapper included in his song. Jared and many others pointed out that Francis is not officially credited on “N95.”

However, at press time, this all remains mostly speculative, and both Kendrick Lamar Stans and regular rap fans had a few counter-arguments or questions. First is their claim that “N95” had already leaked in 2019, so the veracity of this claim is more in question than folks assume. Still, either argument for it isn’t really air-tight, and thus this is still part of the rumor mill. But one of the most interesting aspects of this whole debate is how CJ Francis IV is a Quentin Miller associate, the Drake ghostwriter whose name places a heavy cloud over “Prince” and “Mike Jack’s” conflict.

Kendrick Lamar Hit With Ghostwriting Accusations: See Replies For Debate

While this is one accusation of ghostwriting against Kendrick Lamar, Drake has encountered many of these throughout his career, and was still able to overcome them. Having writers is by no means a bad thing… if they’re credited… but even if not, it’s too common of an industry trope to single out any one criminal. If it wasn’t for this current beef, maybe this wouldn’t have really drawn the fanfare that it’s getting on some Internet corners right now. If you take one thing away from our article, let it be this: check out CJ Francis IV’s music instead of dismissing him.

Meanwhile, what do you think about how this feud has evolved over the past three weeks or so? Who’s “winning” right now, and do you even care about this back-and-forth or about ghostwriter accusations? However you may feel, let us know down in the comments section below. Bambi Accuses Lil Scrappy Of Allowing Girlfriend To Post Photos Of Their Kids, Violating Divorce Agreement

It’s no secret that things between Lil Scrappy and his ex Bambi have gotten messy in the past, but it looks like even their divorce hasn’t slowed the drama down. Reportedly, the mother of three recently accused Scrappy of violating their divorce agreement. Allegedly, a clause in their agreement bars either party from allowing their significant others to post photos of their children on social media.

According to Bambi, Scrappy has allegedly chosen not to abide by this. “Since the Final Judgment and Decree was entered, Respondent has allowed a significant other to post the minor children on her social media page,” her filing reads. “Respondent was able to do what this Court ordered. Respondent’s refusal to do so is willful.

While some commenters think Bambi’s right, others are urging her to move on from the divorce, including Momma Dee.

In The Jasmine Brand‘s comments section about the accusations, Momma Dee seemingly threatened to expose Bambi. “If she’s not careful, I’m gonna post a video that will make the whole world turn on her,” Scrappy’s mother wrote. “I have the video Bambi I’m not playing with you girl shut it down and shut it down quick.” What do you think of Bambi accusing Lil Scrappy of violating their divorce agreement? Young Thug Trial: Witness In Tears As She’s Forced To Testify Despite Suicidal Thoughts

Yesterday (March 28) marked the 49th day of Young Thug’s highly publicized RICO trial, and tension only continues to build. The legal battle is on track to break the record for being the longest trial in Georgia state history. It could continue for much longer too, as according to some legal experts, it’s likely to go on until at least 2027.

During the trial this week, one reluctant witness took the stand to recall being allegedly robbed by Young Thug and another man who she believed was his brother in 2013. She didn’t report the alleged robbery right away, but after hearing gunshots outside of her home hours later, called the police. The investigation was ultimately dropped after authorities could no longer get a hold of her. She denies ever reporting the alleged crime.

Witness Denies Accusing Young Thug Of Robbery

The witness has made it clear that she didn’t want any part in the trial, previously refusing to appear to testify. Recently, however, she was arrested and forced to, despite her deteriorating mental health. Reportedly, she told Fulton County Deputy DA Adriane Love that she had considered taking her own life. When asked why, she allegedly said, “because y’all [the state] are doing this.” Young Thug’s team objected to her giving a testimony, claiming that they weren’t made aware of this ahead of time.

The judge disagreed, however, and let her take the stand anyway. She got emotional when asked about her deceased mother. “I already told Ms. Love about my mother, that was a tragic situation,” she said, prompting Love to apologize. “You don’t gotta apologize Ms. Love, I know you did it on purpose,” the witness clapped back. What do you think of a witness being forced to testify despite reportedly suffering mental health consequences related to the case? Lil Baby & DJ Akademiks Feud Over Allegedly Painted Nails

It appears as though Lil Baby and DJ Akademiks are at it again, this time over some allegedly painted nails. Yesterday, Ak took to social media to call the rapper out for a clip from his new music video. In the clip, Lil Baby is seen flipping the bird, and his middle finger looks suspiciously shiny. Ak was quick to make note of this and to accuse the “Greedy” performer of wearing nail polish.

“Dis n***a ain’t been the same since then Michael Rubin parties,” he replied to the clip. “I kno his nails not painted .. man wats going on in rap.” He didn’t stop there, however. He went on to share a photo of Lil Baby alongside some male friends at Rubin’s iconic Independence Day white party last year. “The day we lost Lil Baby,” he captioned the post.

Lil Baby Denies Having Painted Nails

Lil Baby didn’t hesitate to fire back. Shortly after DJ Akademiks posted the accusations, he hopped online to respond. He took to his Instagram Story with a photo of his hand, highlighting his unpainted nails. “Y’all blogs gotta stop just posting anything,” he wrote. “I ain’t painting my MF nails. At this point y’all gotta see n***as like Akademiks got an agenda. Miss me with that weird sh*t (No lol).” While he insists his own nails weren’t painted, he wouldn’t be the first rapper to rock the look.

Drake, for example, frequently flexes his polished nails proudly. According to him, he keeps them polished to prevent himself from biting them. He’s previously called out those hating on him for it, calling the backlash homophobic. What do you think of Lil Baby and DJ Akademiks beefing again? What about the rapper denying having his nails painted? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Funk Flex Blamed For Former Hot 97 Exec’s Termination In New Racial Discrimination Lawsuit

Hot 97 is currently being sued by the station’s former Vice President of Operations, Stanley Pillman III. He alleges that he was told he was being laid off because he was “too white” for the job. According to him, however, his termination could have actually had something to do with Funk Flex.

Allegedly, Funk Flex had once told Hot 97 staffers “the white boys are stealing from us,” referring to Pillman and COO/President Brad Tobin. Pillman says this prompted him to go to HR with a few complaints about the DJ. He believes that ultimately, this resulted in him losing his job. He accused Funk Flex and the SVP of Sales of being “involved in potential kick-backs and theft of company funds.” Pillman also alleged that Funk Flex gave away “’zero-dollar’ digital and on-air advertising… to clients without a contract and without collecting any fee.”

Stanley Pillman III Accuses Hot 97 Of Racial Discrimination In New Lawsuit

Pillman says that only a month later, he was brought into a meeting with Tobin and Rahsan-Rahsan Lindsay, the CEO of Hot 97’s parent company. He alleges that he was then fired, and it was suggested that his race was the reason. “At this meeting Mr. Lindsay stated that there was a feeling around the office that [Pillman] did not know anything about hip-hop and needed to listen to the… station,” the lawsuit reads. “As the conversation continued, Pillman finally inquired, ‘Are you trying to say I am too white for the job?’ to which Mr. Lindsay replied, ‘Yes.’”

Nessacary Accuses Megan Thee Stallion Of Sleeping With Her Manager & Stealing Her Rollout Ideas

It’s no secret that Megan Thee Stallion’s latest releases have sparked quite a bit of controversy, but evidently, she has more than a few of her fellow femcees praying for her downfall. Earlier this month, for example, Houston/Ohio-based rapper Nessacary unleashed a diss track about the “Hiss” performer, in which she throws several jabs at Meg.

Nessacary accuses Megan Thee Stallion’s manager T. Farris of giving Meg all of her rollout ideas that they’d been working on for months because they’re sleeping together. On her diss track, she slams Megan as a “drunk,” a “snake,” and more. Of course, Meg’s Hotties have been out in full force, coming to her defense. Countless commenters are calling out Nessacary for dissing a fellow female artist when her beef really lies with her manager, while others are simply dragging her for what they think are lackluster bars.

Nessacary Goes After Megan Thee Stallion

Amid the backlash, Nessacary took to social media to respond to critics putting her on blast. She addressed one comment from a Meg fan insisting she won’t even get a response from the “Cobra” performer. “I didn’t expect your precious Megan to respond because she’s p*ssy,” Nessacary says in a clip. “It took her almost what, ten months to respond to Nicki? I didn’t expect her to respond. This is an artist’s purge, because when you have a manager who goes behind your back and gives all of your deals and your whole f*cking rollout that you and your label have been working on for months out of your f*cking budget, and give it to the b*tch that he’s f*cking? It’s a problem, and I’m gonna check the b*tch who needs to be checked, okay?”

Lil Yachty Fires Back At Critics Accusing Him Of Biting Playboi Carti’s Flow

Earlier this week, Kai Cenat previewed a new Lil Yachty track during a livestream, giving his fans a taste of what’s to come. Unfortunately, however, some listeners have been less than impressed, and have even started to accuse the performer of jacking Playboi Carti’s style. Aside from the flow-stealing allegations, Lil Yachty is also being called out for what critics call a lackluster beat.

Amid all of the backlash, Lil Yachty hopped on Twitter/X to fire back, coming to his own defense. He responded to one user’s comment on Kai Cenat’s preview, writing, “Carti can’t try 1 new sound without rappers immediately biting him, he’s generational.” The Georgia-born performer made it clear he didn’t appreciate the attack. “Biting him?” he asked. “How did i bite him? the beat? if that’s the case i been workin with cardo since 2019-2020 on record yall fans be smoking the strongest d*ck.”

Lil Yachty Denies Biting Playboi Carti’s Flow

“The song is terrible,” the critic then replied. “The beat is a ‘H00DBYAIR’-type beat. Your flow is an obvious attempt at a Carti flow, and you used a ‘what’ ad-lib in the same cadence [that] Carti uses.” Unfortunately, Playboi Carti isn’t the only fellow MC Lil Yachty’s been accused of copying as of late. After he teased his new track “Swing My Way” this week, fans had mixed reactions, though many agreed it was reminiscent of Veeze. While some think the track isn’t nearly as groundbreaking as they’d hoped, others are eager to hear it in full, and already predicting it could become the “song of the summer.”

Either way, it doesn’t look like Lil Yachty plans on letting critics get him down anytime soon. What do you think of Lil Yachty’s response to being accused of stealing Playboi Carti’s flow? Are you picking up on any similarities, or are critics reaching? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Soulja Boy Threatens To Sue Woman Claiming To Be His Baby Mama

Earlier this week, a woman named Lindsay Reid hopped online to share a message with Soulja Boy, which he responded to with a legal threat. In a TikTok, Reid accused Soulja Boy of being the father of her daughter and refusing to be there for the child physically or financially. Allegedly, she told the rapper she was expecting in January of last year, and he’s yet to show his face.

Reid also alleges that he threatened to post an explicit video of her on social media, and later sent her a screenshot of it demanding that she unblock him. “I’ve given you more than enough time,” she says in her TikTok, “I’ve been lenient with you.” Reid went on to read messages she allegedly sent to Soulja Boy, offering to work out a financial agreement outside of court. Now, however, she’s seeking child support.

Soon after she put the “Crank That” performer on blast, he issued a response, making it clear that he didn’t appreciate the allegations. He took to social media to show off legal documents that stated their child support case was closed. Moreover, he insists the child isn’t even his, and threatened to take legal action against Reid for dragging him publicly.

“You want to play on this internet,” he says in a new video before going into the info listed in the legal docs. “Now I’m about to sue you and every goddamn blog that posted this sh*t for defamation of character.”
