Camila Cabello And Playboi Carti Are On The Run In Their Action-Packed Video For ‘I Luv It’

Camila Cabello has kicked off her new era. Today (March 27), the Cuban hitmaker has shared her new single, “I Luv It,” which features the elusive Playboi Carti.

Over a frenetic beat, Cabello finds herself in a state of infatuation, embracing young love. “Super twisted, sick addicted / Kiss me hard, like someday you’ll miss this / In your shower, in your power / Seein’ stars, oh my God,” she sings in one of the song’s verses.

The song also features a prominent sample of Gucci Mane‘s “Lemonade.”

“Certain things in our human realm do make me feel like I’m in outer space, and the very rare few times where I’ve had incredible chemistry with someone is one of them,” said Cabello in a statement. “Part of that cocktail is also the emotional drama between you and that person, and the chaos and butterflies and nerves and passion. It’s unsustainable and not peaceful and exhausting, but also, I LUV IT”

In the song’s accompanying video, Cabello and Carti make a thrilling escape, dodging obstacles like exploding cars, home invasions, and fires. But the two reunite in a Miami bodega, dancing their way through the delusions of love.

Playboi Carti’s ‘Antagonist’ Tour Was Reportedly Canceled After Multiple Delays

Bad news for Playboi Carti fans hoping to see him and his Opium cohorts Destroy Lonely, Ken Carson and Homixide Gang on tour this year: The Atlanta rapper’s Antagonist tour has reportedly been canceled, according to Complex. Fans were apparently notified via email after multiple delays, however, Complex‘s report does not offer a reason for the cancelation.

The tour would have been Carti’s first since 2021’s King Vamp Tour, as well as his second since releasing his most recent album, 2020’s Whole Lotta Red. While the rapper has made periodic appearances on other artists’ albums, including Kanye West’s Vultures 1, Travis Scott’s Utopia, and Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You, his long-awaited album Music does not have a release date after being promised in January.

Suffering through unexplained postponements has long been a feature of Playboi Carti fandom, as he infamously pushed back Whole Lotta Red so many times, fans like Mario Judah trolled him by releasing their own projects with the same title. He’s been teasing Music since the holidays in 2022, but despite releasing a string of singles including “H00DByAir” and “Backr00ms” with Travis Scott, he’s still yet to drop a release date for the album. Whether his tour cancelation counts as a setback or sign of increased focus remains to be seen.

Future, Metro Boomin, Travis Scott & Playboi Carti Join Forces For “TYPE S**T” Music Video: Watch

Everyone’s favorite new banger “TYPE S**T” off of Future and Metro Boomin’s collaborative album WE DON’T TRUST YOU is shaping up to be one of the biggest hits of the year. Moreover, the Travis Scott and Playboi Carti-assisted cut just got a visual treatment courtesy of directors Gunner Stahl and LouieKnows, and it’s a pretty grimy, grounded, and simply effective approach. All four artists flex their wild fits, cash, and luxury cars for the cameras, hitting up a strip club and driving around a city at night. Also, there are some other artist and producer cameos throughout the music video, as you can see folks like Southside and Ken Carson pop out for cameo appearances.

Furthermore, this continues a lot of hype around the song that began when all parties involved started teasing it heavily on social media. This led up to a wild Rolling Loud L.A. performance earlier this month sans Playboi Carti, but Future, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott still rocked the crowd. This is definitely one of the songs to have resonated with fans the most off of WE DON’T TRUST YOU, either thanks to its collaborative nature or the classically menacing Metro beat. Either way, we’re sure that we’ll be hearing it ring off at the aux, clubs, sporting events, and much more throughout 2024.

Future & Metro Boomin’s “TYPE S**T” Music Video With Playboi Carti & Travis Scott: Watch

However, there’s also a lot of discussion about the more combative and speculative moments on WE DON’T TRUST YOU. “LIKE THAT” is about a few hours in the trend cycle away from becoming a classic verse of the 2020s, said verse coming from Kendrick Lamar and his Big Three-stomping lyricism. Many fans are hoping that Drake and J. Cole respond to these disses in some way, and they want more context and understanding as to what it all means for their competition and for the rap game at large. Maybe hearing one of them speak on it would paint a more complete picture, but Future and Metro Boomin have plenty of reason to indulge.

Supposedly, both of them have beef with Drake in particular, and dissed him on WE DON’T TRUST YOU. Metro’s issues with him are well-documented, whereas his “I Serve The Base” partner is rumored to be feuding with him over a girl. This is all unconfirmed and mostly just gossip, though, so we’ll see if this is the end of the story. Hopefully, there’s more to come. On that note, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Future, Metro Boomin, Travis Scott, and Playboi Carti.

Are There Features On Metro Boomin & Future’s ‘We Don’t Trust You’ Album?

Last Friday, March 8, Future and Metro Boomin announced their forthcoming joint double album, We Don’t Trust You, which Uproxx’s Aaron Williams listed among “The Most Anticipated Hip-Hop Albums Of Spring 2024.” The first release dates are March 22 and April 12, and Metro stoked the anticipatory fires on Wednesday, March 13.

Metro Boomin, who was nominated for Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical at the 2024 Grammys and has promised to drop three albums in 2024 “at the very least,” first posted another trailer across his socials alongside the message, “Revenge season starts in 9 days #WeDontTrustYou.” Then, on X (formerly Twitter), Metro posted a few cryptic teasers regarding the We Don’t Trust You tracklist.

Are There Features On Metro Boomin & Future’s We Don’t Trust You Album?

There is not a clear-cut answer to this — yet. It’s up for interpretation, which is probably just as Future and Metro Boomin want it. The first of Metro’s X posts showed him and Future in what appears to be the same desert from the initial We Don’t Trust You trailer. “#nofeatures #wedonttrustyou,” Metro wrote.

So, no features, right? Well, an hour-ish later, Metro posted again: “#TYPESH*T @1future @trvisXX @playboicarti #wedonttrustyou.” That seems to indicate that there will be a single called “Type Sh*t” featuring Playboi Carti and Travis Scott. Carti confirmed his feature on Instagram, as captured by Complex. Carti also posted a video to his Instagram Story showing him (or someone) driving around blasting a snippet of what we can only assume is “Type Sh*t” because Carti wrote atop the video, “@metroboomin @travisscott @future TYPE SH*T.”

Because We Don’t Trust You is a two-album project, it’s still on the board that one of them will be featureless.

Playboi Carti Delivers New Song and Video “Ketamine”

Playboi Carti Delivers New Song and Video "Ketamine"

Playboi Carti is back with new music, dropping off “Ketamine.” The new song is two minutes long, arriving with a new video.

Playboi Carti also ushered in the New with new music, dropping off the video for “BACKR00MS” featuring Travis Scott.

In the video, footage from what appears to be an office building shows Carti with a beautiful woman as he counts up before hitting a garage for his super-sized ride. The star rapper appears in all black, accented by numerous diamonds.

One of the key bars is, “I think I need me an Ice Spice, yeah I want me a Munch.” And Ice Spice definitely heard it.

Playboi Carti Gets Nicked By Machete During Music Video Shoot For “KETAMINE”: Watch

It seems that DJ Akademiks was onto something the other day when he told Playboi Carti fans to “stay tuned.” While people did not want to believe it, the social media pundit wound up being right in a way. We did not get Music, but we did receive another new single. If you have not heard, Playboi Carti delivered “KETAMINE,” presumably the sixth taster from the long-awaited aforementioned record. Like a couple of the tracks already, this one was released on the opium_00pium Instagram account. The visuals are quite unique as well as the sonics, and during the video shoot for “KETAMINE,” Playboi Carti suffered an injury.

You can actually see it play out in the full music video. Or, if you want to skip to it, check out the shortened clip below provided by Kurrco, found by HipHopDX. In the rundown and dilapidated room is a random mattress. Carti jumps off of it and and leaps toward the half-naked guitarist that is performing alongside him.

However, hanging from the ceiling by an exposed lightbulb is a sharp machete. Carti wound up jumping right into it and you can see that he appears to be shaken up. It is unclear whether or not he meant to do that, but hopefully it is not too serious of an injury. If you have not already, you can check out “KETAMINE” and see for yourself if it is deserving of the hype it is getting.

What are your thoughts on Playboi Carti getting hurt during the filming for the “KETAMINE” music video? Are you enjoying the song so far? Where would you rank the single compared to the previous ones and why? When do you see him releasing the album? Adin Ross Leaks Security Camera Footage From Night Of His Awkward Stream With Playboi Carti: Watch

Adin Ross was the butt of a lot of jokes after his failed live stream with Playboi Carti. To be honest, that does not even begin to describe how much of a waste of time it was for Adin and his viewers. Music fans were also let down, after many were hoping to really get some juicy updates on his next project, I Am Music. One of the biggest faces was scammed out of $2 million for a 10–15-minute session of essentially nothing.

Of course, he was absolutely furious about it and he called out the oddball behavior. It seems their rapport has not gotten to a positive place by any means. Attempts to for the Georgia rapper to redeem himself have proven to be futile. Ross has tried to bring him back for another stream, but according to the streamer, he theorizes that he was essentially entertaining the idea to not be viewed in a negative light.

Adin Ross Explains The Weird Night With Playboi Carti

He said that back at the start of March, but there was also another important piece of information. During that live stream, Adin also revealed he had the security camera footage from that night and that he was going to release it. Well, that day has come. Above is a 20-minute playback of what went down with Carti and Adin’s team. The video below that is a clip from Ross’ recent talk with his fans, breaking down important bits of that night. It seems that Carti and his team were not happy about the small payout. However, Adin’s valid rebuttal was that he was only on camera for “six minutes” instead of an hour.

What are your thoughts on Adin Ross leaking security camera footage from the Playboi Carti stream? Do you think this was necessary? With all of this information out, who is at fault for the short stream? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Adin Ross Says Playboi Carti Stream Sequel Probably Won’t Happen

This just in: in a shocking turn of events, Playboi Carti seemingly chose to not follow up on a teased promise and has left fans waiting. Jokes aside, he shares responsibility for this disappointment this time around, because Adin Ross heavily hyped up a second livestream with the rapper despite fans’ skepticism. Folks likely remember that the first one, filmed for about ten minutes after one of Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures listening events, ended in the Opium boss leaving abruptly and allegedly scamming the streamer out of $2 million with his shorter-than-expected appearance. Now, though, it seems like Ross finally accepted defeat and conceded that, despite his efforts, part two will probably not happen anytime soon.

“I don’t think Carti 2 is happening anymore,” Adin Ross said during his recent livestream this weekend. “I have a theory that Carti was just texting me to kind of just, like, keep me, like, in a position where, like, I’m not going be on his bad side, like, where I’m on the Internet talking cr*zy, if that makes sense. To get, like, the heat off his name type s**t. I think I got played.

“But aye, bro, it is what it is,” Adin Ross continued. “‘Cause I was texting his phone, and he stopped answering me out of nowhere. Yeah, I have the footage, I have the warehouse footage. I’m about to just release it. I mean, once I get a confirmation that we’re not doing part two. Is that blackmail? I mean, dude, I kinda got scammed, so I mean, I’m blackmailing a f***ing scam. So you can’t blame me.”

Meanwhile, Ross actually dealt with some other contentious situations with rappers recently. However, in this instance, he was the one to mostly ignore the other side, although definitely not to the degree of “King Vamp.” YBN Nahmir wants to box the Kick affiliate, and he called the “Rubbin Off The Paint” spitter irrelevant and not worth his time, money, or attention. But his response already opened the floodgates for people to advocate for it for whatever reason. To find out if it ever manifests, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Playboi Carti and Adin Ross.

Drake Shares Throwback Pictures On Instagram, Calls Playboi Carti’s Filter Racist

Drake is no stranger to reminiscing. In fact, the rapper is often fond of looking back on his early days before becoming one of the biggest musical artists in the entire world. That was the case on a recent Instagram post where he shared a photo dump of old photos from earlier in his career. “How?????” he captioned the post, seemingly unable to believe just how far he’s come. One of the pictures included in the post is of a younger Drizzy posing with Common. Check out all the old photos he shared below.

Vintage Drake Photos

In a much weirder online moment, Drake used Playboi Carti’s Instagram filter and it didn’t go as planned. In the clip he’s able to use it on himself no problem but when he tries to point the camera at anyone with a darker complexion, it won’t recognize them. “Unusually bias Carti filter that detects light skins wtf kind of t3(hnol0gy is this?!??” the caption of the post reads. In the comments, fans try to point out that it has more to do with the darkness of the room he’s in than the filter itself. It’s hard to tell exactly how serious Drake is in his accusation though. Check out the full video of him using Carti’s filter below.

Drake Trying Out Playboi Carti’s Filter

Drizzy is currently on the second leg of his “Its All A Blur” tour with J. Cole and Lil Durk. He just released a new album For All The Dogs and a new EP Scary Hours 3 last year. Following the releases he claimed that he would be taking a hiatus from releasing new music, but doesn’t seem to be sticking to that. He’s been teasing new material coming soon while on tour.

What do you think of the throwback pics Drake shared giving a peek at his past before becoming a musical superstar? What about his accusations after trying out Playboi Carti’s Instagram filter, calling it racist? Let us know in the comment section below.

Playboi Carti’s New Mask For “VULTURES 1” Paris Listening Party Draws Slipknot Comparisons

One of the odd things about the rollout for Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES rollout has been the theme of wearing masks. Ye is the one leading the charge in all of this as he was first spotted wearing an all-black cover. It featured a see-through area for his eyes and it must have been fairly breathable because of how often he wore it in public. Then, he went full Jason Voorhees with the famous white hockey mask. Playboi Carti is now doing the same as he was seen wearing a mask resembling the iconic heavy metal band Slipknot.

This extravagant piece was worn for the latest VULTURES 1 listening party in Paris this past weekend. Chris Fehn was the member of the band who popularized the “Pinocchio nose” headgear. He is now a former bandmate, but his iconic look still lives on. Plenty of those comparisons were made in the video below as Playboi Carti went with a black leather look compared to Fehn’s silver one.

Some fans respected the choice, while others made the obvious but still funny jokes to the fictional character. However, a few people were a little annoyed with Carti trying to be something he is not. “Bro thinks his genre is rock,” “Getting more corny by the day,” were just a few of those type of remarks. One person even went as far as to say that he wore that mask because “he lied ab dropping music too much.” That last one is true though, where is Music!?

What are your thoughts on Playboi Carti’s new mask for the Paris listening party for VULTURES 1? Is this the better face covering, why or why not? Do you think Kanye West inspired him to wear masks for the performances? Is the album still in your rotation and if so what songs? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section.
