Rick Ross Freaks Out Fans With Realistic Mask Of His Own Face

It’s been a busy month for Rick Ross, but luckily, it looks like the hitmaker has still found the time to have some fun. Earlier this week, for example, he hopped online to show off a new mask of his own face. In a spooky clip, he stares eerily at the camera in complete silence, tilting his head from side to side. For obvious reasons, viewers are pretty freaked out by the clip, and sounded off in Akademiks’ comments section.

“Horrifying,” one user writes. “Is bro okay?” another wonders. While some users think the mask bears a striking resemblance to the real Rick Ross, others aren’t so convinced. Various commenters argue that it more closely resembles DJ Khaled, Jim Jones, or even Benzino.

Rick Ross Shares Creepy New Clip

Several other fans speculate that Rick Ross has a bit too much free time on his hands, which could explain the creepy video. After all, he is newly single following his recent split from Cristina Mackey. This is far from the first of Rick Ross’ posts that left fans disturbed, however. At the beginning of this month, for example, he dropped a strange photo of himself rocking a fur jacket with no shirt on underneath. The questionable fit certainly made a splash, and left countless users confused.

Aside from his bizarre social media antics, Ross has also been hard at work on new music lately. Today, his song with Future and Metro Boomin on their new collaborative album We Don’t Trust You, “Everyday Hustle,” dropped. So far, fans are enjoying the fun track, though his “baby mama” Tia Kemp didn’t exactly appreciate the shoutout. What do you think of Rick Ross’ new mask of his own face? Is it disturbing? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Playboi Carti’s New Mask Sparks Accusations Of Copying Slipknot

Playboi Carti has always had eclectic influences by rap standards. His 2020 album Whole Lotta Red introduced a number of new styles to mainstream hip-hop and inspired the style of numerous rappers who have emerged since. One of those influences Carti has cited in the past is Kanye West. West has become pretty synonymous with wearing various masks out in public. Sometimes that’s full face ski masks and other times it’s simpler hockey masks. But recently video of Carti spotting an even more elaborate face covering began to make the rounds online.

In a backstage video originally taken last month, the rapper is sporting a full black mask with silver studs. Though the mask may look brand new to many rap fans, metal listeners in the comments knew exactly what it reminded them of. “Bro think he Slipknot” one of the top comments on the post reads, referencing the iconic metal outfit who perform in elaborate masks. The comments even featured more specific references to who the mask reminded fans of. “Lil bro is NOT Chris Fehn” and “Blud thinks he’s Chris Fehn from Slipknot” two other comments read. Check out the video of his elaborate new mask below.

Playboi Carti’s Mask Has Fans Thinking Slipknot

Earlier this year and dating back into last year, Playboi Carti dropped a handful of new singles. The tracks were seemingly just loose cuts which were uploaded to YouTube with DIY music videos. While the new material did click with some fans, many are still waiting for more formal releases from the rapper.

Earlier this week, DJ Akademiks teased that Carti might have some new material on the way. While the promise left fans excited, many didn’t believe him. Carti is known for announcing things that he doesn’t follow-up on in the past. What do you think of Playboi Carti’s new mask? Do you think the comparisons to Slipknot are justified? Playboi Carti’s New Mask For “VULTURES 1” Paris Listening Party Draws Slipknot Comparisons

One of the odd things about the rollout for Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES rollout has been the theme of wearing masks. Ye is the one leading the charge in all of this as he was first spotted wearing an all-black cover. It featured a see-through area for his eyes and it must have been fairly breathable because of how often he wore it in public. Then, he went full Jason Voorhees with the famous white hockey mask. Playboi Carti is now doing the same as he was seen wearing a mask resembling the iconic heavy metal band Slipknot.

This extravagant piece was worn for the latest VULTURES 1 listening party in Paris this past weekend. Chris Fehn was the member of the band who popularized the “Pinocchio nose” headgear. He is now a former bandmate, but his iconic look still lives on. Plenty of those comparisons were made in the video below as Playboi Carti went with a black leather look compared to Fehn’s silver one.

Some fans respected the choice, while others made the obvious but still funny jokes to the fictional character. However, a few people were a little annoyed with Carti trying to be something he is not. “Bro thinks his genre is rock,” “Getting more corny by the day,” were just a few of those type of remarks. One person even went as far as to say that he wore that mask because “he lied ab dropping music too much.” That last one is true though, where is Music!?

What are your thoughts on Playboi Carti’s new mask for the Paris listening party for VULTURES 1? Is this the better face covering, why or why not? Do you think Kanye West inspired him to wear masks for the performances? Is the album still in your rotation and if so what songs? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Playboi Carti and VULTURES. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on around the world of music.

Kanye West Gets Support From Jason Voorhees Actor For Mask Usage

Kane Hodder, who played Jason Voorhees in several of the Friday the 13th films, has spoken out on Kanye West’s usage of his character’s iconic mask. He says he’s fully in support of the rapper but wants him to get a nicer version of the mask. Ye has been wearing the mask in numerous public appearances and performances in recent weeks.

“I was watching a bunch of the videos and I love it. Kanye, you gotta let me get you a better mask though. That’s kind of a cheesy one. I could get you a nice one and if you would just, during your performance, give the eyes a little bit. That’s what gets people when you’re wearing the mask. Do the big eyes.” From there, Hodder remarked that he’d be down to send Ye a movie-worn version of the mask. He also suggested that Kanye’s polarizing reputation isn’t hurting that of the mask.

Kanye West & Westside Gunn Link Up: Photos Of Jason Mask-Clad Ye & Flygod

Kanye West and Westside Gunn continued highlighting their respect for one another recently, and commemorated the occasion with some new snaps. Moreover, they both went to the grand opening of 424’s Melrose Place store with Guillermo Andrade on Friday (February 2) in Los Angeles. “SUPER HEROES,” the Griselda MC captioned an Instagram post featuring some pictures and a fit check video of the occasion. Speaking of fit checks, the Chicago artist chose to don his new white Jason mask to complement his all-black outfit, and it makes for quite the intimidating presence. Of course, if you’ve been attentive at all when it comes to Ye news these days, you recognize this garb.

This new Jason mask is exactly what Kanye West wore to Travis Scott’s Orlando concert, where he performed for his CIRCUS MAXIMUS tour. Fans obviously went wild for him when he appeared, despite how fans already had put the pieces together before the show started. While it’s very energizing, it’s also hard to look at through a screen without thinking of all the 46-year-old’s current public controversies. Yet that’s always been a point of compromise and conflictive feelings when it comes to him.

Westside Gunn’s New Post With Kanye West Pics

Not only that, but peers like Westside Gunn’s continuous support probably urges him to continue and move past these inflammatory incidents. For better or worse, a lot of people are telling Kanye West to keep going, and both his fans and Flygod’s would love if the “Keep My Spirit Alive” spitter hop on wax together again. In fact, maybe the Yeezy mogul puts Gunn on a Vultures volume last-minute, and we know very few people would complain. Here’s hoping that Ye atones for what he’s done and we can enjoy his artistry more purely.

As for the Buffalo native, he has an unreleased collab with A$AP Rocky that the Mob’s frontman played during a recent orchestral performance. As such, And Then You Pray For Me might be his last album, but he’s not going anywhere. Who knows what these two will cook up next? To find out, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Kanye West and Westside Gunn.
