Blueface Targets NLE Choppa & DJ Akademiks On Social Media: “Welcome To The Circus”

Blueface has been beefing with both of his baby mamas for the past few days, and now, two other famous faces are entering the mix. Off the Record host, DJ Akademiks and the Californian were trading shots on Twitter on Sunday (December 10), with the former seemingly suggesting that Chrisean Rock’s son, Junior, is his child, not Blue’s. “In today’s world, telling the truth is considered ‘exposing,’” the father of three wrote yesterday. “Ain’t no shame in my game, Ak, I hit yo b**ch as well, sorry man.”

Assuming the 26-year-old was talking about his former lover, the podcaster responded, “Dawg, Celina got hit by the whole world. She’s ain’t ever been my b**ch tho. Hope [you ain’t] go raw tho playa.” To this, Blue clarified that he meant Akademiks’ current partner. “And I just snuck a swab… The DNA test came back… That baby [you] keep claiming [is your] son… Is actually mine,” the embattled blogger clapped back. “I’m cool [with you] being the dad that stepped up tho.”

Blueface and DJ Akademiks Trade Shots on Twitter

Rather than taking this message personally, the Cr*zy In Love star laughed it off. “Aye brother, get in line [and] take a number 😂. It’s a list of potential fathers, welcome to the circus 🎪🤡,” he posted on Sunday afternoon before turning his Twitter fingers toward NLE Choppa on Monday (December 11). Things are heating up between the creatives after the latter’s baby mama, Marissa, called out Blue for trying to speak with her at a party recently.

“Thotiana” Rapper Has Words for NLE Choppa Too

“He hopped on that no rizz train till he seen I had that number now I’m his ‘Shotta Flow (Remix)’ friend 😂. Don’t call me about no b**ch boy,” Blueface wrote to the Cottonwood artist on Twitter to start off the week. “NLE been calling my [phone] all day about his baby momma but I’m tender 😂,” he added. Check back in with HNHH later for more updates on all the drama.

NLE Choppa Takes Pot Shots At Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, & Chrisean Rock On “Shotta Flow 7”

NLE Choppa’s 2023 has been an eventful one, to say the least. The Memphis rapper is sort of a goofy character in the current hip-hop scene. Honestly, though, it is always a treat to see what the 21-year-old artist is going to do next. He had a lot of people talking after hearing his rendition of Nelly’s classic hit with “IT’S GETTING HOT.”

Outside of music, Choppa has said and done some things online that have caused debate as well. Back in August, he posted an unsolicited feet picture in a random photo dump on Instagram. In October, he had people worried about his safety after he “disappeared” to his hometown to shoot a music video. All in all, it has been a whirlwind of a year for him, and this new track caps one to remember for sure.

Listen To “Shotta Flow 7” By NLE Choppa

NLE is bringing his beloved “Shotta Flow” series to an end with the seventh entry. It boasts production credits from Tay Keith and may feature some of the funniest bars out of them all. The first line in the first verse takes an unexpected shot at Chrisean Rock, and it is quite funny. “I was missin’ the action like Chrisean tooth.” But, that is not the only notable line. “Wanna f*** Kim K and make Kanye watch,” is another one. Finally, for good measure here is one more, “Back leg loose like a n**** had to poot.” This is pure poetry and we are going to miss the series deeply after this one.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single, “Shotta Flow 7,” by NLE Choppa? Where does this installment rank amongst the rest of the “Shotta Flow” series? Does this one contain the funniest bars out of all seven of them, why or why not? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Chrisean Rock Shares Her Thoughts On NLE Choppa Name-Dropping Her In A New Song

Earlier this week, NLE Choppa shared his new single “Shotta Flow 7” which is perfectly in line with his hard-hitting style. But right out of the gate with one of the first lyrics on the song he makes a joke at Chrisean Rock’s expense. The first line on the first verse reads “I was missin’ the action like Chrisean tooth.” The joke was made about Chrisean’s notoriously missing tooth, though it doesn’t exactly have a punchline or a clever payoff.

Now, Chrisean herself is responding to the song. She caught wind of it via a clip of the lyric on Instagram where she left behind a comment. “This is so random ppl will just mention me saying anything,” she comments alongside a crying laughing emoji. Even though she doesn’t really seem to care, fans responding to her comment feel like she’s downplaying things. “She loves the attention actually and she getting on my nerves now,” one comment reads. But others think she should try and take on the song’s instrumental herself. “Put her on the remix and get her a bag for her and the baby cuz she could do this beat,” one of the top comments on the post reads. Check out the snippet from the song where Choppa mentions Chrisean below.

Chrisean Rock Responds To NLE Choppa

Chrisean Rock has had a busy few weeks that started with the alleged kidnapping drama between her and Blueface. It began when Blue posted about having to go pick up the pair’s child late at night because Chrisean wasn’t around. When she gave her point of view on the events later on she had a very different story. Rock claimed that Blue actually kidnapped their child and the drama began to spiral from there online.

That led Chrisean Rock to share some concerning posts to social media. She had fans worried for her safety after making claims about dying being easier than staying alive. Thankfully she pivoted to something more wholesome when she shared a video reading bible verses to her baby. What do you think of Chrisean Rock’s response to NLE Choppa mentioning her in his new song? Let us know in the comment section below.

NLE Choppa Sings Chris Brown Track, Much To The Internet’s Amusement

NLE Choppa, like many folks out there, is a big Chris Brown fan, and he makes that admiration pretty clear online and in public outings, such as when they played basketball together. However, his most recent example of Breezy fandom has some fans in tears, others with genuine admiration, and a few who think he shouldn’t try too hard. Moreover, the Cottonwood 2 rapper sang the R&B star’s track “Under The Influence” in a new social media video. We have to give him props: he gives it his all and stays (mostly) on key. Plenty of folks have that MC/singer duality, but it’s even more exciting to see it develop from someone you didn’t expect in that lane.

Furthermore, this also happened to 21 S*vage, who’s made a name for himself for trying to show off his pipes. Whether it’s on social media or at an Usher concert, NLE Choppa certainly has steep competition in this regard. Many folks in the comments section of The Neighborhood Talk‘s coverage of this Chris Brown cover demanded a collaboration between the two. Furthermore, maybe they can make a mixtape of sorts with other rappers who you’d never expect to sing some soulful jams on wax.

NLE Choppa Covers Chris Brown’s “Under The Influence”: Watch

Jokes aside, though, the Memphis hitmaker is still quite proficient in his own lane. Perhaps he needs just a little bit more practice before he can hope to reach Chris Brown levels of vocal dexterity, at least in melodic and technical terms. But recent singles and collabs like the 21-year-old’s “Ice” with producers Aarne and Imanbek show that he’s still got that fire in him. Still, maybe this is just the start of a new phase in his career, or it’s just a fan being a fan.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown just released a new album 11:11, and it looks like it’ll perform pretty well on the charts. More importantly, though, it gave die-hard fans another collection of melodically engaging cuts with sultry production. Hopefully this isn’t the last C.B. cover that rappers bring us. For more news and the latest updates on NLE Choppa, stay up to date on HNHH.

NLE Choppa Teams Up With Producers, Aarne And Imanbek, For “Ice”

NLE Choppa is still one of the hottest rappers in the game right now. He might not be on the popularity level of Drake, Kendrick Lamar, or J. Cole, but his fanbase is quite substantial. In fact, he currently sits at just under 20 million monthly listeners. That is good enough for 304th in the world, according to Spotify. While it might not sound all that impressive, there are obviously so many artists out there, and being in the top percentile is a great accomplishment.

We bring up his expanding fanbase because he is branching out of the United States for new collaborations. For example, this year, the Memphis rapper recently worked alongside Gambi, a popular French rapper who has a few hits under his belt. They put out the fast-paced single, “Bonjour,” earlier this year. Now, he is sticking with more European talent for a new single, “Ice.”

Listen To “Ice” By Imanbek, Aarne, And NLE Choppa

However, Choppa is not sharing the mic this time. Instead, he is working with two producers. Those are Imanbek and Aarne. Imanbek has been in the studio a lot with SAINt JHN, Marshmello, Rita Ora, and more. He was born in Kazakhstan. Then, Aarne, who is from Romania, has worked with lesser-known names, but he does have a song with Famous Dex. “Ice” was featured on Aarne’s latest record, AA LANGUAGE 2 as “ice ice ice.” However, it has just gotten a rerelease as a single with a little bit longer runtime.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new song by NLE Choppa, Imanbek, and Aarne, “Ice?” Is this one of Choppa’s better features this year? Is the beat one of the better trap instrumentals of 2023? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around NLE Choppa, as well as all of the best song drops.

Uh, she like, “Ice me out,” ayy

DDG Smacks Sukihana While Filming NLE Choppa’s New Movie: Watch

If you didn’t already know, NLE Choppa recently released his new film project, Nightmare on Cottonwood, and it’s a doozy. Moreover, it stars a lot of viral stars: Funny Marco, Kai Cenat and Fanum of AMP (who Choppa recently went to “prison” with), and most notably for this story, DDG and Sukihana. Furthermore, a new behind-the-scenes clip shows the cast and crew in which the rapper, in ghost form, smacks Suki from behind. After the scene wraps, you can hear them and a lot of other team members break out in laughter, and it’s heartening to see them have a good time.

In fact, this is far from the only recent screen exploit that Sukihana enjoyed recently, although the other one is definitely more contentious. She recently joined the cast of Baddies East as a replacement at Natalie Nunn’s request, and it was chaotic to say the least. Still, that wasn’t the Delaware native’s fault, as a lot of other moving pieces made it a hectic episode. What’s more is that she was one of three additions, which all had their own storylines and feuds to handle on the Zeus Network program.

Sukihana & DDG Have A Ball While Filming Nightmare On Cottonwood: Watch

On the other hand, Sukihana’s costar DDG might have just found a new venture with this film stuff. After all, it seems like music- or hip-hop, at least- isn’t inspiring him like it used to, especially as he gains more career aspirations, exposure, and more. On Saturday (November 4), the YouTuber and MC asked for more rock-and-roll beats, labeling rap as “dry” and in need of a revamp. Maybe that’s a bit too much to handle for purists, but that’s the advantage that the genre has over any other musical offering: hip-hop can find inspiration and sonic innovation anywhere.

Meanwhile, NLE Choppa also might be tapping into the TikTok NPC livestream world, expanding his media presence. It didn’t go super well with PinkyDoll, but hey, there’s always next time. If you haven’t seen Nightmare on Cottonwood yet, you can find it on the rap artist’s YouTube channel. On that note, stay posted on HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Choppa, DDG, and Sukihana.

NLE Choppa & Mike Jones Clash Over ‘Still Tippin’ Sample Copyright, Igniting Social Media Feud

Mike Jones NLE Choppa

NLE Choppa and Houston rap legend Mike Jones were engaged in a social media dispute over a sample used in Choppa’s song, “C’mon Freestyle.” The Memphis rapper alleges that Jones’ team copyrighted his song despite initially clearing the sample. The back-and-forth between the two artists has sparked a heated debate among fans and followers. ‘C’mon […]

Mike Jones Responds To NLE Choppa’s Call-Out Over Sample Issues

Samples are pretty much everything in hip-hop: its lifeblood and point of origin, an indelibly useful creative tool, and a commercial headache. Moreover, we always hear about clearance disputes, royalty splits, and so much more when one artist wants to use another’s song. While that can sometimes be more attributed to the labels or management that these MCs work with, sometimes the beef can get in between the artists themselves. That’s what happened recently with NLE Choppa and Mike Jones, as the former called the latter out for copyrighting a sample that he already cleared: his song “Still Tippin’,” which became the instrumental for Choppa’s “CMON” freestyle. Now, Jones clapped back.

“Don’t care about getting respect,” Mike Jones responded to NLE Choppa’s complaints. “Especially if the respect wasn’t shown 4 months ago prior to releasing the music without getting the business clear! I told y’all #Welcome2TheMusicBusiness #StayTuned For Receipts & I wish a N***A Would!!!!” In fact, if you look up the Memphis MC’s freestyle, it’s no longer available due to this copyright claim. This means that this isn’t a situation in development or discussion in the legal world; it just happened quickly.

Furthermore, this is what NLE Choppa had to say to Mike Jones when this copyright claim came through. “Ion know if it’s Mike jones or his team but on everything y’all dead wrong for trying to copyright a song I cleared,” he expressed on Twitter. “That’s some hating s**t especially for a young n***a like me that’s just tryna please his fans. Ion feel that I lost d*mb respect but it’s cool fasho!” What’s funny is that this isn’t the first time that Jones in particular shut down remixes to his songs much to the public dismay of the sampling artist, as this happened to rapper BiC Fizzle with the exact same song earlier this year.

Meanwhile, what do you think of this whole debacle? Is Choppa right to be so indignant or is it time for people to pump the brakes on reckless or undue sampling? However you may feel, let us known the comments section down below. Also, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Mike Jones and NLE Choppa.
