JT Calls Out Even More Rappers On Extended Version Of “Okay”

JT had more to say. The City Girls rapper caused quite a stir when she dropped her single “Okay.” The lyrics saw her take aim at a very specific peer, but she didn’t name names, so fans were unsure of who she meant. The target was whittled down to either Cardi B or Sukihana. The former didn’t bother saying anything, and the latter addressed the situation over social media. JT didn’t like that. She took Sukihana to task for not asking her in private, and proceeded to insult her several times via X (formerly Twitter).

Now, JT has an extended version of “Okay.” The rapper felt like she didn’t quite nail the aggressiveness of the original, so she added additional bars. To nobody’s surprise, they are mean-spirited. The City Girls rapper doesn’t include names again, but they once again register as pointed. “Ain’t no way I’m ever layin’ down for you stank h*es,” she raps on the new version. “Tell these b*tches why you really mad. Cuse you said I couldn’t do it, look at my black a*s.” It’s obvious that all the speculation and fan attention only gave JT more incentive to up the ante, and that’s exactly what she does here.

JT Calls Out 3 Specific Rappers Out Of “Boredom”

“Y’all h*es know you can’t f*ck with me,” JT adds. “That’s why y’all in a huddle trying to see how y’all can f*ck with me.” The rapper then clarifies that she has lots of time to go to war with whoever wants to heed the call. She went as far as to describe herself as bored, and ready for the smoke. “I clapped back in the air cuse a b*tch bored,” she asserted. The hardest-hitting line, though, is towards the end of the verse, when JT decides to be specific and vague at the same time.

She calls out three specific targets without mentioning names, but it seems like these targets know who they are. And they don’t intimidate JT for a second. “To be clear h*e, this for you, you and you (p**sy),” she tauntingly raps. “You ain’t a threat or a f*cking goon. City Cinderella coming soon.” City Cinderella is the name of JT’s upcoming solo album, and frankly, she’s doing a great job of drumming up attention. It is the year of the rap beef, so what better way to get eyes on your project?

Future & Tee Grizzley Display Great Chemistry On “Swear To God”

Even though this weekend has been loaded up with tons of releases from some of the upper echelon talents, many fans were distraught and frustrated. A series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) a couple of days ago from Future set the platform ablaze, as he seemingly was hinting at a new mixtape dropping on May 10. “F*** yo album S*** ain’t slappin like my MIXTAPE.” “MAY TENTH🤧.” “MIXTAPE PLUTO.” These were all of the messages that had fans pumped for a possible third project from the Georgia legend in a span of two months.

Another reason why fans have been upset this afternoon was because there was speculation of Future and Gunna competing with one another. They have been subliminally dissing each other, especially because Gunna is a free man and Young Thug is still going to court hearings. However, the opposite has been true. All Future was doing was teasing lyrics from a collaboration cut with Tee Grizzley. The track, “Swear to God,” features both trap MCs over a nasty Wheezy beat and the Future tweets pop in right at the beginning on the chorus.

Pluto claims this track as his by providing a verse as well, even though he is credited as a feature. But both artists do complement each other well and it makes sense. These two veterans share similar styles and they have worked together in the past once before. That happened on a YNW Melly album cut “Freddy Krueger” back in 2021. Be sure to check out the trending single with the link above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Swear to God” by Tee Grizzley and Future? Individually is this one of their stronger releases as of late, why or why not? Do you think Tee is gearing up for a new project soon? Were you fooled when Future tweeted about a new mixtape? Who had the stronger performance? Key Glock Says “The G Stands For Greatest” On Latest Single

After the tragic loss of Young Dolph, it seems that the proverbial baton has been passed to Key Glock. The 26-year-old Memphis MC soaked up so much knowledge from the “old man” and now he has become one of, if not the best, from the city. That statement can be backed up from the slew of singles and remixes “Mr. Glock” has put out. One track that we can add to the stacked list of releases is his latest offering, “The Greatest.”

This single follows up on renditions of the Glockoma 2 (Deluxe) banger “Let’s Go,” which has quickly become a fan favorite. Over the last several weeks, Glock brought an EDM remix with Alok, and a fire posthumous verse from his mentor. “The Greatest” sees the aggressive spitter flex his muscles and boast about his skills. He sets the tone right from the jump, saying, “Yuh, they call me Glock and the G stand for “Greatest” (Yuh).”

Listen To “The Greatest” By Key Glock

Over the thumping BandPlay beat, Glock brings a slippery flow that feels reminiscent of something Offset would lay down. But it does not feel like a blatant rip off by any means. “The Greatest” could be a single for the long awaited Glocktober tape, which was teased late last year. We had belief that Key was going to drop the tape in October based on the title, the color scheme for the single cover arts, and that he was dropping the singles during that month. However, we are still waiting, and hopefully it drops sooner than later.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “The Greatest” by Key Glock? Is this one of his stronger releases as of late, why or why not? Do you think he is gearing up for Glocktober still, or something new? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Central Cee Slips & Slides On Thrilling “CC FREESTYLE”

Central Cee and Dave have been the two faces of the United Kingdom rap scene for the last couple of years. They have been bringing in a lot of listeners, especially from the country across the pond, and it has been great to see. Of course, you still have names like Skepta and Giggs doing their thing as well. But the young cats’ growth will be important going forward. Both do not drop all that often, but when they do the tracks are rarely duds. That is true when it comes to the latest single from Central Cee, “CC FREESTYLE.”

According to Genius, this off-the-dome exercise is a rumored single for Cee’s supposed upcoming debut album. The tentative title, CAN’T RUSH GREATNESS, does not have any release date information out, so this could very well be speculation. Regardless of whether or not “CC FREESTYLE” makes it on to a tape, Cench spazzed on this cut. This is just his second release of 2024, following up his love track “I Will” from February.

On this freestyle, Central Cee spits with great proficiency over Flukes’ classic grime instrumental “I Have Nothing.” This beat/sample may also sound familiar if you are a hardcore Travis Scott fan. La Flame tried his hand at a similar instrumental when he sped up Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” on “guidance.” That was a deeper cut off of his 2016 sophomore album Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “CC FREESTYLE” by Central Cee? Is this one of his best rapping performances he has ever put forth, why or why not? Ice Spice Threatens Latto On Relentlessly Teased Single “Gimmie A Light”

Ice Spice has truly reached incredible heights over the last year or so. When most people heard “Munch (Feelin’ U)” for the first time, there was a strong feeling that she was bound to be a one-hit wonder. Then she came back with “Bikini Bottom,” but some were still not convinced. It seemed like when “In Ha Mood” dropped in January of last year that was when she began to turn a corner. All of those viral singles culminated into her debut project Like..?

Grabbing features from Nicki Minaj and Lil Tjay showed that she had the backing, and now Ice Spice is everywhere. From the brand deals, to performing on the biggest stages, and her massive features, she is here to stay. Ever since she announced her debut album Y2K! her fans have been begging for it drop. Ice Spice has been working towards it with the controversial “Think U The S*** (Fart),” and now “Gimmie A Light.” This track was first teased at Coachella earlier this year and a lot of people were dissecting particular bars from it.

Like, why would I beef with a flop? (Grrah) / Like let’s talk drill (Grrah) / Who bigger than she? (Like) / Who prettier too? (Like) / Two-fifty to get in the booth (Damn).” These are seemingly direct shots at Latto, who has been showing her disdain for her fellow femcee for some time, especially on “Sunday Service.” This second single for Y2K! sees Ice Spice sample a 2000’s Sean Paul classic “Gimme the Light.” RIOTUSA, her wingman, slow down the lyrics, before Spice hops in raps with aggression in a higher register. This track might not be as popular as “Think U The S***,” but it is a solid track for the album.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Gimmie A Light” by Ice Spice? Where does this track rank amongst the rest of the singles for Y2K!? How do you feel about her sampling Sean Paul’s “Gimme the Light?” Do you think this album will be worth the hype? Ice Spice Appears To Take More Shots At Latto On New Single “Gimmie A Light”

Ice Spice is gearing up to drop a new project this year called Y2K. As it stands, this project does not have a release date. However, fans are still very much excited about the album as it will be her debut. So far, we have gotten singles like “Think U The Shit (Fart).” This song is particular was quite polarizing, although that has been the case for Spice’s entire career thus far. On Friday, she came through with yet another new effort. This time, the song was called “Gimmie A Light” and it features a sample from Sean Paul.

Overall, the song has elicited more polarizing responses. Some feel as though that Ice Spice has been repeating the same sound since 2022. Meanwhile, others simply don’t think the bars hold up. Either way, Spice is in a difficult position right now, and there is no telling whether or not she will be able to break out of her current sound. Throughout all of this, Spice has had an ongoing feud with Latto. In fact, on this most recent track, it would appear as though the artist may have taken yet another swipe at her rival.

Ice Spice With A New Release

“I don’t got any opps — like why would I beef with a flop? (Grah)” Spice raps on the track. There is no telling whether or not this bar is truly directed at Latto. However, context clues seem to point to that. At this point, the two may just level some diss tracks at each other. 2024 has been the year of rap beef, and it seems like Drake and Kendrick Lamar have inspired artists from all corners of the earth. Only time will tell whether or not Latto responds.

Kendrick Lamar Accused Of Stealing Bars From Twitter For “Not Like Us”

Kendrick Lamar is currently in a feud with Drake, and for now, he has the lead. Thanks to songs like “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us,” Lamar has taken a comfortable lead. Overall, this has been made clear thanks to the surrender that was Drake’s “The Heart Part 6.” As it stands, “Not Like Us” is on track to be the number-one song in the entire world come next week. It is pretty wild to think about, especially since “Euphoria” may end up becoming the number two track.

Having said all of that, Drake fans are doing everything they can to discredit Kendrick and his most recent track. Enter King Jared on Twitter. If you have been keeping tabs on the beef through X, you have certainly seen this account. The person behind the account moves as though they are Drake’s personal assistant. An OVO soldier tasked with finding anything they can to make K. Dot look bad. Well, last night, they came through with some old tweets that contain similar punchlines to what Lamar says on “Not Like Us.”

Kendrick Lamar Had Some Hard-Hitting Lines

At first glance, it all looks pretty damning. After all, how could Kendrick steal punchlines? Doesn’t that go against the core tenets of rap? However, when you do a bit of critical thinking, you realize that these punchlines aren’t even the hardest-hitting bars on “Not Like Us.” Furthermore, these jokes and punchlines aren’t exactly original thoughts. It doesn’t take hours upon hours of brainstorming to come up with some of this stuff. Not to mention, it would be almost impossible to find these tweets if you searched “Drake” on Twitter. You have to really dig deep with the keywords to find these, and that’s clearly what King Jared did. However, this kind of accusation plays well amongst Drake fans on Twitter, and now, they are running with it. Is it possible that Kendrick did steal these punchlines from Twitter? Sure. That said, we will probably never know, and it’s ultimately up to the listener to decide where they stand on this.

Let us know what you think of this accusation, in the comments section down below. Do you really believe that Kendrick Lamar was scouring Twitter to find some punchlines against Drake? Do you think Drake fans are coping a bit too hard when it comes to this feud? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. The Game Destroys Rick Ross On New Diss Song “Freeway’s Revenge”

The Game loves to battle. Few popular rappers have picked more fights than the Compton spitter. He went at 50 Cent, he disrespected Dr. Dre, and he penned a ten-minute song aimed at Eminem called “The Black Slim Shady.” Anybody can get it as far as Game is concerned, and Rick Ross is his latest target. The Game had been throwing shots at Ross during the first week of May. He taunted Rozay’s weight and posted an AI photo of the boss running on his Instagram Story. There was a beef on the horizon and Game crystalized it on May 10 with “Freeway’s Revenge.”

The Game does not waste any time playing nice. The literal opening lines of the song see him rap about cutting Rick Ross’ stomach open and stuffing bricks in it. It’s a horrifying visual, and a clever riff on the Miami rapper’s imagined kingpin persona. “I can see the b*tch in him,” Game raps with seething anger. “You 12 lemon pepper wings away from a heart attack.”

Once again, he goes at Ross’ weight, and ties things back to the aforementioned AI photo. Rozay is running, like we said, but he’s also dressed like a corrections officer outfit and ducking a cop while carrying a bucket of chicken. Subtle? Nope. Effective for a diss? Very much so.

The Game Uses Rick Ross’ Own Flow To Diss Him

The Game then proves that he’s been keeping tabs on the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle by making reference to DJ Akademiks and Kai Cenat. Both streamers have been instrumental in covering the big battle of 2024, and it sounds like the Compton rapper wants some of the action. “Akademiks, get this n**ga Ozyempic starter pack,” he spits. “Kai Cenat, hit the room, turn that stream on.” The Game also references Drake and Kendrick Lamar by name. “This ain’t the Kendrick beef,” he adds. “My Drake sing song shots ring out.”

The rapper regains his focus during the second half of the diss, thankfully. He stops name-dropping other people and lays into Ross over his law enforcement past. He also pulls out a trick he used on the Eminem diss by emulating Rozay’s voice and referencing the rapper’s old lyrics. The instrumental switch furthers the menacing vibe, sounding like the sort of lavish sound that the MMG label boss usually raps over himself.

The Game doesn’t tell us anything we don’t already know about Rick Ross, but it is a pretty entertaining diss. Let’s see where it goes.

Megan Thee Stallion Gives Fans Another Smash Hit With “BOA”

Megan Thee Stallion is riding high in 2024. She won her long, torturous court case against Tory Lanez, and then beat Nicki Minaj in a rap battle. She dropped a diss song on the Young Money star, “HISS,” and scored a number one single in the process. Megan is locked in with what fans want to hear, which is what makes the hype for her next album so feverish. She finally dropped off a lead single for the album, “BOA,” and it does not disappoint.

“BOA” is a textbook Megan Thee Stallion single. The production is snappy and incredibly hard-hitting. LilJuMadeDaBeat co-produced “BOA,” and his track record with Megan includes “HISS” and “Body,” so fans can rest assured they’re in good hands. You can hear his tag at the beginning of the song. “BOA” is also textbook Megan Thee Stallion from a lyrical standpoint. The rapper turns up the brag bars up to 11 and lays claim to being the genre’s new queen.

Megan Thee Stallion Takes Shots At Other Rappers

Megan even makes reference to beefing with other female rappers, which could be a subliminal aimed at Minaj. “All of a sudden they vegan, they don’t want beef,” she aggressively raps. “Talkin’ out of veeners, I’m knockin’ out teeth. They bought Birkins, I bought stock, They still on the boat, I’m on a yacht. They’re takin’ shots, I’m takin’ spots.” This confidence extends throughout the entire song. Megan also drops a few bars about her wealth and her ability to “son” other rappers since fans call her “mother” on social media. “BOA” absolutely nails the assignment in terms of drumming up excitement for the new album.

What are your thoughts on this new song, “BOA” by Megan Thee Stallion? Is it another certified hit from Megan? Is she actually talking about Nicki Minaj? Are you excited for her new album?
