According to his post, terms like “opp” and “slime” actually mean “overly positive pal” and “seeing lord in me everyday.” Despite the connotations they may carry, he assured listeners that the terms in his music are nothing but positive.

The post follows some recent claims made by his attorney Brian Steel, which managed to capture the attention of social media users. Towards the beginning of the YSL founder’s trial, Steel argued that the title of his 2022 track with Future and Gunna, “pushin P,” actually means “Pushing Positivity.” He also stated that Young Thug’s name means “Truly Humble Under God.”

Prosecutors are using the rapper’s song lyrics against him in court, which many argue is unfair, as they don’t necessarily represent the truth.

As such, it seems like each artist is also taking steps to make sure everyone who they want there will be there. For Ye, that includes a familiar face who he executive-produced an album for three years ago.

Furthermore, Playboi Carti continued his hot streak of social media activity recently by sharing a DM from him. “It’s ye checking in family,” Kanye’s message reads, according to his Whole Lotta Red collaborator’s recent Instagram Story post. “Got your number from wheezy.” Then, he included a screenshot of Ty Dolla $ign’s announcement of this “rave,” which is most likely just a listening party. However, it’s still quite likely that this is just a ruse to put together some other shindig or party, as we don’t know the explicit details of it.

According to Beyoncé’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, the answer is flat out no. On Saturday, December 9, a post uploaded to Noel-Schure’s official Instagram page put a kibosh on that rumor.

“‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé’ is ONLY playing in movie theatres worldwide,” Noel-Schure wrote. “The comments that the film will play on Roku are categorically false.”

Much to hip-hop head’s pleasure, she picked an impressive roster of collaborators for PF2, though Minaj revealed on Queen Radio earlier this weekend that she was surprised by a fellow femcee who turned down an opportunity to appear on this weekend’s project.

“I don’t wanna laugh,” the mother of one began. “They said that it was a lot of different things, but you know, I didn’t realize, they said that they don’t think I like them,” Minaj told listeners without officially naming names. “After everything The Barbz…” she trolled off as the live chat began flooding with speculation that she’s talking about Doja Cat. The famous family appeared as shark versions of themselves – namely “Sharki B” and “Offshark”. In their brief cameo, the couple (and their kids) are chilling in their green room when their security catches protagonist Brooklyn “Baby” Shark (Kimiko Glenn) trying to sneak in.

However, the famous couple’s voice-acting skills are under scrutiny. Quando Rondo Arrested On Federal Drug Charges: Report

According to WJCL, the FBI arrested Quando Rondo on federal drug charges on Friday (December 8). Moreover, an agency spokesperson told the outlet that police in Savannah, Georgia– his hometown– pulled over a vehicle at Burroughs Street and 37th Street around midnight. Reports indicate that they only arrested the rapper, who was the passenger, and that this occurred without incident. Rondo, real name Tyquian Bowman, just recently dodged a ban from his home of Chatham County, so this is just the latest in a troublesome and unfortunate series of legal issues for him. Not much else emerged about his current condition or response to this development at press time.

Furthermore, this arrest comes about six months after authorities indicted Quando Rondo and 18 other individuals on state drug and gang charges. Specifically, he faced accusations of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act by allegedly managing the Rollin’ 60’s gang in the area. Not only that, but the Never Broke Again affiliate also received charges for supposedly using communication illegally, as he allegedly used a phone to organize the sale of marijuana. As such, while this case went quiet for a little bit following his release on bond, it seems like prosecutors still want to take it to court with more evidence.

Devin Haney Walks Out With Skilla Baby And Tay B Before Title Fight

Devin Haney was joined by Skilla Baby and Tay B during his ring entrance this weekend. The two rappers flanked the superstar boxer ahead of his fight against Regis Prograis. Haney was aiming to become boxing’s latest multi-division champion and did so in dominant fashion. While the fight went the distance, Haney scored a unanimous decision, earning a 120-107 score from all three judges. Haney improved to 31-0 in a fight in which Prograis simply had no answers for ESPN‘s No. 7 pound-for-pound fighter.

“I did everything that I said I was gonna do. Went in there and I handicapped him. We knew that he was gonna come in with a big left hand. We capitalized on his habit of leaning in. I hit him with big shots. I knew that I was hurting him,” Haney said after the fight. Prograis landed just 36 punches in the entire fight, a conversion rate of just 10%. By comparison, Haney hit his opponent 129 times.

Haney is now a two-division champion, although he did recently vacate his undisputed belt last month. However, Haney now needs to capitalize on his success and start booking the biggest fights he can find. Gervonta Davis, who fights at both 135 and 140, feels like the obvious option. However, Haney is skeptical that it’s a fight that could come together. “Tank don’t want to fight because if he really wanted to fight, then he would be trying to build up the fight instead of trying to knock it down. If he really wanted to fight me, he would be making it that. It’s a big fight and it’s the best fight for boxing. But he only talked down on the fight. Like I said many times, they say everything but ‘let’s fight,’” Haney told ESPN.

The other superstar option if Haney remains at 140 is Ryan Garcia. “For years and years we chased a Ryan Garcia fight. No one wanted to fight Devin Haney and everyone used the excuse: ‘It’s not a big enough fight. No one knows who he is.’ When you’re too good, the only way you can entice people is to get paid to get beat. He sold out in a city that hasn’t had boxing in two decades,” Haney’s promoter said of a potential Garcia fight.

Moneybagg Yo recently found out the hard way that, when you’re in a public setting, you always have to be prepared for the worst. While this specific case isn’t too wild, it did make for a pretty bizarre and almost comical moment, if it wasn’t for the circumstances. Moreover, it centers around a recent clip that surfaced online of someone greeting him at a bottle signing event in Las Vegas. After the rapper signed a bottle for the person recording, it turns out that they were actually a prompter. They gave him paperwork for a lawsuit against him and walked away, and Ari Fletcher’s husband had an incredulous look on his face.

Furthermore, he probably did not expect to receive paperwork on this occasion, especially from someone who went to get a signed bottle. Regardless, these papers allegedly focus on the Loaf Boyz executive‘s supposed failure to repay a no-show back in 2021. Since we don’t have any further details about the lawsuit, we can assume that the plaintiff wanted to resolve this in a more private manner with Moneybagg Yo.
