NLE Choppa Makes Key Distinction Between “Bussy” And “Badussy”

NLE Choppa has been creating quite a stir with the song “Slut Me Out 2.” Overall, this is a track that was previewed at Rolling Loud California, and immediately went viral online. Although it is not in line with what Choppa has made in the past, fans are digging it. However, there are some day one fans who feel a little bit alienated by all of this. At the end of the day, it is a much different vibe for him. It might take a while for some to come to grips with the change in direction. That said, it remains to be seen if he will even continue this sound, in the future.

Considering the sexual nature of the track, there are some who are trying to interpret some of the lyrics. For instance, at one point in the song, Choppa says “it smells like badussy.” Overall, this had some fans questioning his sexuality, as they thought it had to do with a man’s body parts. However, it appears as though fans were getting confused with a different word, entirely. Well, NLE decided to take to Twitter where he addressed some of the confusion that had been brought up.

“Badussy And Bussy Two Different Things,” Choppa revealed. “Badussy is a Memphis term meaning something smelling like booty, dick, and pussy referring to the smell of intercourse between a man and woman.” So there you have it folks, now you know the difference. While some of you probably never cared about this, at least you have a new word to add to your vocabulary.

Earlier this week, Young Thug revealed the true meaning behind some of his most commonly used slang words on Instagram, surprising fans in the process. According to his post, terms like “opp” and “slime” actually mean “overly positive pal” and “seeing lord in me everyday.” Despite the connotations they may carry, he assured listeners that the terms in his music are nothing but positive.

The post follows some recent claims made by his attorney Brian Steel, which managed to capture the attention of social media users. Towards the beginning of the YSL founder’s trial, Steel argued that the title of his 2022 track with Future and Gunna, “pushin P,” actually means “Pushing Positivity.” He also stated that Young Thug’s name means “Truly Humble Under God.”

Steel later shared how YSL got its name, claiming that it was a result of Young Thug’s friends frequently sporting Yves Saint Laurent women’s jeans, which featured the iconic acronym. Overall, fans have found humor in the defense attorney’s strategy, and it looks like Thugger has too. Prosecutors are using the rapper’s song lyrics against him in court, which many argue is unfair, as they don’t necessarily represent the truth.

Fat Joe, for example, recently came to Young Thug’s defense, claiming that plenty of his lyrics don’t reflect reality. “I’ve been rapping professionally for 30 years,” he told CNN‘s Gayle King. “I’ve lied in almost 95 percent of my songs. I’m being honest. I write like I feel that day. I’m just being creative. You couldn’t build a jail high enough for the lyrics I’ve said on songs, which are all untrue. Doechii’s Florida Slang Favourites Include “Gitt” And “Green AF”

TDE artist Doechii has been enjoying her time in the spotlight this month. She’s already filled two of her weekends with iconic performances at Coachella. Those come after she teamed up with Kodak Black for “What It Is (Block Boy)” back in March. She was also honoured at the Billboard Women in Music Awards prior to that. Now she’s sat down with the outlet to discuss going viral and her friendship with labelmate SZA. We also got to hear some of her favourite slang words that she previously learned in her hometown of Tampa, Florida.

One of the 24-year-old’s picks was “Gitt,” which she described as “referring to a child or a friend.” She added, “You’ll just be like, ‘What’s up Gitt?’” Aside from that, she also frequently uses “Green AF.” During her interview, Doechii added, “Ok this is a Tampa thing. We used to say ‘Decka Like a Stecka’. That means like I’m really about that life, I’m that bitch, I’m that girl. Decka Like a Stecka, period!” She’s obviously well-versed in the Tampa tongue. Still, many others would be lost by the phrases without the “Persuasive” hitmaker’s explanations.

Doechii Discusses Florida Slang with Billboard

Elsewhere in their chat, Doechii markedly expressed gratitude for being TDE’s first female rap signee. She stands alongside male artists like Ab-Soul and Jay Rock. “It’s a huge responsibility because I know that after me there’s gonna be more female rappers that are a part of TDE. I just wanna make sure that I do everything so that the next girl feels comfortable doing everything,” the rising star expressed.

While she’s only given us one single so far in 2023, the year before was seriously stacked for Doechii. She shared singles like “Crazy” and “Bitch I’m Nice” before finally giving us her she / her / black bitch EP featuring Rico Nasty, Jst Ray, and SZA last August. After that, she debuted “Stressed” on A COLORS SHOW, receiving rave reviews from fans before eventually sharing the studio cut on DSPs just a few weeks later.
