However, rumors persist about just how much money he spends on a “biohacking” health routine, especially given his longevity in the NBA. The Nike collaborator still pulls off impressive feats that keep him in conversation as a stellar player, but people’s skepticism is sometimes too spicy to deny. As such, the 39-year-old was recently asked about this during his appearance in the Netflix series Starting 5, and he had a pretty simple response to a question about the speculation that he blows a $1.5 million bag a year on this routine.

“I kind of just chuckle,” LeBron James remarked about these rumors. “That is a number that I will not disclose, but, more importantly, I think it’s just the time.” Writer Bill Simmons was among the first to speculate about this alleged $1.5 million back in 2016 concerning his health routine. Bronny James’ father’s regimen reportedly includes daily cryotherapy, red light therapy, hyperbaric chamber time, a nap at around mid-day, and low sugars and high carbs for his diet.

Elsewhere, when it comes to the hip-hop world, LeBron James is in a very interesting position these days when it comes to the GOAT conversation. That’s because he seemed to pick a side between two contenders to the rap crown that he’s praised many times before. Well, at least that’s what Drake thinks, as the basketball superstar went to Kendrick Lamar’s Juneteenth concert following their explosive battle. Is this all just the result of social media speculation? Maybe. But the 6ix God did pettily unfollow LeBron, so they’re either toying with fan perceptions or they really had a rift. Who knows? LeBron James & Bronny Sued For Alleged Involvement In 2022 Car Accident

LeBron James and Bronny kicked helped kick off the Lakers 2024-2025 campaign with a big-time win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at home. Despite this, the father and son duo are already dealing with some scrutiny within NBA circles after last night. In addition to this, there’s noise coming from the outside world as well, according to TMZ Sports. The publication has acquired some legal documents from two alleged victims from car accident back in 2022.

April Almanza Lopez and Kiara Rae McGillen are alleging that Bron and Bronny rammed into their vehicle while on the highway. They allege that it took place on November 13 of that year and that they both accrued injuries needing medical care. Furthermore, Lopez and McGillen are claiming in the lawsuit that their car has lost significant value due to the alleged damage LeBron and Bronny caused. Overall, the two ladies are suing the professional basketball athletes for unspecified damages.

The plaintiffs nor the James’ have spoken at all since the news broke. As for when the paperwork was filed, it was during the afternoon of Tuesday, October 22. We are not dismissing that this incident occurred, but when you think about it, it’s quite interesting when these alleged victims sent in the suit. LeBron and Bronny were expected to make history last night by playing on an NBA floor together during the regular season. They did just that with about four minutes in the second quarter. Time will tell how much time the USC product spends in the league this season, but it was a special moment nonetheless for the league and Bron.

Bronny James’ Worn Jersey Sells For Almost $40K At Auction

Bronny James and his father LeBron are the NBA’s first father-son teammate duo, making any memorabilia commemorating the former’s entry into the league a representation of history. Moreover, according to TMZ, Bronny’s first Summer League jersey (which he wore for a July 12 game against the Houston Rockets in Las Vegas) sold at an auction by Sotheby’s in mid-September for over $38,000. It now belongs to the “Lakers Shrine,” largely acknowledged among the world’s most lauded private Los Angeles Lakers collections. But who bought it? It’s David Kohler, the president and founder of SCP Auctions. He doesn’t have an auction of his own, but he also has worn and owned items from many legends like Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul Jabbar… You name it.

During Bronny James’ July 12 game, he scored eight points in 27 minutes as his first taste of NBA action, although he hasn’t played a regular season game yet. The Lakers will open the regular season on October 22 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. “I’m just excited to go out there and learn and learn from the people playing in front of me,” Bronny had told reporters about his first games on the court. “And, if I get a chance to showcase my game, then I’m going to do that to the best of my ability.”

We’re not talking about the other rap beef opponents such as Future and Rick Ross, though. Rather, we’re talking about the other celebrities that “picked a side” based on who they showed love to, where they went, and how these folks are interacting online. This is especially true for the Toronto superstar based on just how high-profile he is with his famous friends. For example, he unfollowed LeBron James after months of speculation that the NBA star is more Team Kendrick.

Still, even an IG unfollow – which is practically Drake’s way of making a press release and solidifying his real-life bonds – isn’t enough to confirm this. After all, LeBron James warmed up to his music just fine the other day. But Adin Ross isn’t taking any chances, cutting all associations with the former Cleveland Cavalier. However, he chose to start this process in a pretty odd way. The streamer is selling his Audemars Piguet watch (worth between $450K and $500K) because he owns the same one that LeBron does, and doesn’t want that link to stick around.

LeBron James seemingly took Lamar’s side in the battle. He attended the rapper’s “Pop Out” show on Juneteenth. He went viral for dancing in the audience to multiple performances of the Drake diss “Not Like Us.” LeBron James was also filmed telling Steph Curry how much he liked the song during the U.S. Olympics run. It makes sense that Drake felt betrayed by his high-profile friend. The rapper decided to unfollow James on Instagram on October 1. Then, a day later, James decided to throw it back and play Drake music during warm-ups.

The Lakers Daily Twitter account posted footage of LeBron James and the rest of the L.A. team getting ready for practice. The legendary athlete is front-and-center, taking shots while Drake’s 2017 song “Free Smoke” plays in the background. The specific choice of song is worth noting. Drake’s kickoff to the More Life playlist is packed with subliminal bars and disses aimed at his enemies. There’s a certain irony in the fact that LeBron James is now seemingly counted among these enemies.

Rumors of Drake and LeBron James falling out have surfaced in the past. There was a going theory for a while that the Toronto rapper took shots at James on the 2023 song “Songs About My Brother.” There’s a few bars in which he tells an unidentified person that they aren’t on the level of the late Kobe Bryant. It didn’t gain much traction, though, as others theorized (and provided more evidence) that Drake wanted smoke with Kung-Fu Kenny instead. However, the most curious detail out of the clip below for many fans, especially hip-hop listeners, was that they were playing Drake and Rick Ross’ track “Lord Knows” in the background.

Not only is this a sad reminder that Drizzy and Rozay aren’t cool anymore, but it also contributes to the ongoing saga of LeBron James’ alleged beef with the 6ix God, or perhaps vice versa. For those unaware, a lot of folks are interpreting Drake’s social media activity, as well as that of other OVO members like Chubbs, as sending shade LeBron’s way. Of course, that’s just on his behalf, as we didn’t really get any sort of affirmation from the Toronto superstar at press time: only mixed signals, interesting omissions, or possible shady responses. But folks might be wondering as to why this is even happening. Well, the most reasonable fan theory is that LeBron’s attendance at Kendrick Lamar’s “The Pop Out” concert, as well as his overall support of both K.Dot and The Boy during their rap battle and clips of him dancing to “Not Like Us” and rapping along to Kendrick’s diss tracks, rubbed Aubrey Graham the wrong way.

LeBron James Seemingly Responds To Drake Beef Speculation

Throughout Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beef dozens of celebrities were reacting to the songs that came from it. Any time they were vibing to each artist’s disse, the fanbase of that rapper would claim them as their own. To be honest, all of that was a big stretch. Maybe that certain person just enjoys the song for what it is and not for who its dissing. However, there have been some cases where the opposite is true, too. As for the reaches, LeBron James was essentially shunned from Drake’s fanbase due to him supporting Lamar’s tracks and The Pop Out. Because of this, some people were actually running with the idea that James had been favoring the Compton kid.

Joe Budden was one of the ones entertaining it, doing so on his self-titled podcast. What got him intrigued in this “passive-aggressive LeBron-Drake beef” was the fact that the Canadian rapper was congratulating the Olympic athletes, but not James. “I know nobody is paying too much attention to it, but it is a real thing. It’s happening”, Budden urged. “Savannah might just really love that shirt, and I don’t speak about people’s wives, but she might just really love that shirt, brand, and Kendrick, and ain’t paying what y’all doing no mind.
