Toosii Films Police Run-In, Claims They Pulled A Gun On Him

Toosii recently had a scary run-in with the police that he filmed in the aftermath, and he claimed that they pulled a gun on him. Moreover, apparently the police saw his gun fall out of his car and saw him reach for it. This prompted them to shout “Gun, gun, gun!” and take hold of their firearms, which is never a safe or secure situation to be in. After all, there have been so many fatal misunderstandings with police that it must’ve been incredibly nerve-wracking. Nevertheless, the rapper and singer then filmed the aftermath of the incident, arguing with several of the police officers that saw him.

In the video clip, you can see one police officer maintain a blank expression as Toosii argues with him. Not only that, but the officers maintained that they weren’t the ones to scream “Gun!” in the incident. From what it looks like, this might’ve been part of something like a traffic stop, because they speak of a ticket later on. However, what highlights the clip is the “Favorite Song” singer’s shock at the fact they pulled a gun on him as well.

While this interaction could’ve gone south fast, fortunately it seems like nobody involved in the incident was hurt. Toosii’s outspoken demeanor and steadfast conviction in the clip fall in line with recent actions, and that’s a good thing. Most recently, he defended the LGBTQIA+ community in a late-night Instagram post. “I get on the internet everyday and see us attacking us,” Toosii tweeted before his IG post. “S**t getting overrated [one-hundred emoji].”

“It is what it is at the end of the day,” he expressed via Instagram. “If being straight [is] not an insult, why is being gay an insult? You’re trying to use calling a person gay as an insult. Birdman Updates Fans On B.G. Prison Release: He’ll “Be Home In A Minute”

Birdman just provided an update on when Hot Boys member B.G. will see his prison release. Moreover, this is the latest in a long string of legal struggles behind bars for the rapper. Not only have his requests faced denials multiple times, but pressure from other rappers and pop culture figures doesn’t seem to make a dent. Still, at least there are people like the Cash Money boss in his corner to keep fans posted on his status. Most recently, the Atlanta kingpin took to Instafgram to share a picture of B.G. and an update.

“Be home in a minute,” Birdman wrote in his caption, corresponding to a simple picture of the rapper. “Heart of tha streets @new_bghollyhood #CCRG #Cashmoneymillionaire @cashmoneyofficial.” For those unaware, B.G. currently serves a 14-year prison sentence set for its end in April of 2024. Of course, this also isn’t the first time that Birdman in particular hinted at his freedom. Last year, a video went around on social media showing Bird paying a visit to him at the Federal Correctional Institution in Herlong, California.

Birdman Gives Update On B.G.’s Prison Release

Unfortunately, all of the rapper’s petitions for early release were denied by court and law enforcement authorities. While Birdman and other colleagues continued to claim and hint at his prompt exit, it seems nothing could shift the court. At the tail end of September last year, a U.S. District Judge rejected a motion to commute his sentence. Curiously, said request didn’t come from B.G., but rather another federal prisoner. However, further investigation and deliberation revealed that the letter was just meant to advocate for B.G. after his dissatisfaction with how his attorney handled a previous motion for compassionate release.

Still, many in the hip-hop community, especially those close to Cash Money, haven’t forgotten about B.G. For example, Gucci Mane said late last year that he’s giving $1 million to the incarcerated rapper once he gets out of jail. Even though these court struggles and failed requests are disheartening, hopefully he receives a warm welcome upon his release. Nicki Minaj just posted a new thirst trap Instagram post of her resting on a sofa in a black swimsuit. Lil Durk is trying to win his India Royale back. The couple became inseparable over the years as Royale became Durk’s muse in his music. Though the two looked perfectly happy on social media and the public eye at large, it seems as though things weren’t necessarily going well behind the scenes. The couple called it quits in 2022 following allegations that Durk was cheating on her. Back in February, Durk pleaded with India Royale to take him back in an Instagram tribute soundtracked by Future and Ye’s “I Won.” The Chicago rapper wished her a happy Valentine’s day and praised her for all that she’s done for him. “Happy Valentine’s day to the wonderful woman that made me a man I love you @indiaroyale,” he wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of her. Lil Durk Makes His Love For India Royale Known

India Royale swiftly rejected Durk’s Valentine’s day homage. On Twitter, she commented that “People really do not respect boundaries at all.” She added, “I try my best to be respectful and not put on a show but people don’t respect my choices.” She told him to “Let it go,” which seemingly triggered Durk. “I post ‘cause I wanted to[.] The internet don’t run durk,” he wrote. “Try the troll with another mfr leave certain people alone.” Regardless, he’s still making it clear that he wants India Royale back.

This week, he returned to Instagram where he, once again, professed his love for his ex. Akademiks Snaps After Metro Boomin “Politely” Asks Ak To Stop Posting Him

Akademiks added Metro Boomin to his tallying list of enemies in hip-hop. We’ve seen him go toe-to-toe in social media warfare against Freddie Gibbs and Ebro. Meanwhile, figures like Lil Baby have remained targets on his list. Most recently, he and Blueface have been going back and forth on the ‘Gram. The two proposed to take it to a boxing ring, though Akademiks said that he needs six to seven months to prepare. In response, Blueface predicted that Akademiks will fall off within the same window of time.

Last night, Akademiks shared a screenshot of one of Metro’s tweets that included lyrics from Kendrick Lamar’s “Rich Spirit.” The tweet appeared to be a subtle response to Hit-Boy’s call out from his collab with The Alchemist, “Slipping Into Darkness.” Metro slipped into the comment section of Akademiks’ post to ask one final time if he could refrain from posting anything about him on his Instagram page. “Hey I’m politely asking 1 more time that you please not post me or anything to do with me on this page. Thanks! [handshake emoji],” he wrote under Akademiks post. 

Akademiks Lashes Out At Metro Boomin

After reposting the comment to his Instagram page, despite Metro’s kind request, Akademiks unleashed fury. “@metroboomin respectfully my answer to ur request is F*CK No. get the f*ck off my page .. I don’t post for u. Nor do I care what u think bout what I posted bout u,” he captioned the post. Afterward, he unleashed a number of posts, which have since been deleted, where he said Metro had a No Jumper interview pulled from their channel.

During his Twitch stream, Akademiks said he wasn’t going to let “no b*tch a*s producer from no Atlanta who was crying a couple months ago about 20 different things tell me what and what I can’t post.” The media personality went on to call Metro a “sensitive little b*tch” and a “moist ass eyes n***a” who is “too sensitive.” “You must’ve been gassed up with that If Young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gon’ shoot you. Hit-Boy & Hitmaka Continue Their Beef On IG

This week brought the hip-hop world a surprising but fascinating beef between two all-star producers. Hit-Boy and Hitmaka continued their beef, which all started when the latter said that the former can’t compete with him in a radio market. Then, Hit-Boy teased some lyrics from a song with The Alchemist where he disses Hitmaka and his merits. After that, Hitmaka responded by saying that Hit-Boy is a terrible solo artist and should focus on his production. In subsequent attacks online, both producers clarified and doubled down on their stances.

First, Hitmaka published an edited video of ILOVEMAKONNEN’s clowned Tim Westwood freestyle with Hit-Boy’s face on it. Also, he included an alleged DM screenshot where the King’s Disease producer complimented his production success. “CHAUNCEYYYYYYYYYYYY CHAUNCEYYYYYYYYYY,” he captioned the post, calling Hit-Boy by his government name. “Quit f***ing playing kid YOU know I got the hit factory Now Swipe Right 2 SEE YA IDOLS EVERY TIME U RAP SALUTE TO THE WORST PRODUCER RAPPER OF ALL-TIME.” For what it’s worth, Hit-Boy responded simply with three laughing emojis in his comments.

Hitmaka Continues Beef On Instagram

On his end, Hit-Boy posted an edited picture of Muhammad Ali (with Hit-Boy’s face) knocking out Sonny Liston (with the Chicago producer’s face). “I only meant to Diss 1 person on slipping into darkness,” he captioned the post with a laughing emoji. In the comments, he continued his clarification. “I got respect for mustard metro and southside,” he wrote. Regardless, Metro Boomin allegedly responded to the shots, so maybe that wasn’t clear to everyone or he intended his jabs to be friendlier competitiveness. Also in the comments, Hitmaka clapped back.

“Pls send beats so I can help u,” he clapped back. “N***A U DID 3 ALBUMS WIT @nas & he ain’t give u one verse. Everyone knows u terrible at rapping don’t make me go rap I actually have plaques from being a rapper.” In addition, this beef couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. Kim Kardashian, known for her love of social media, recently shared a selfie on her Instagram account with Ice Spice, who has been climbing the ranks of the hip-hop industry. While Kim K is an obvious fan, so is her nine-year-old daughter.

Recently North West made headlines by dressing up as Ice Spice, showing her fangirl side for the rapper. Regardless, it means “charisma” in the basic sense, and it’s a meme these days because… it’s a funny word, how could it not be? Regardless, Chris Brown recently posted a video on Instagram labeling himself a “Rizz God,” whatever that means. Of course, the singer’s recent investigations, resurfaced allegations, and online reckoning contradict any shred of charisma. However, as he continues to tour around the world and find fans at every turn, his statement is unfortunately undeniable.

Furthermore, the R&B star’s been in the middle of a lot of backlash and controversy these past few weeks. It all started, seemingly, when Chlöe announced a collab with him. After fans responded with Brown’s history of abuse and violence, he went on various rants and beefed with everyone from Kiely Williams to a gaggle of white celebrities that he posted online. In fact, things seem to balance out between an accusation or attack at him, and waves of defensive fans online. Despite the negativity and adoration, Brown seems to sit comfortably in the middle, letting it all phase by. This newest video, for example, is really just him having fun and nothing more.

However, nothing could’ve really predicted that Chris Brown would one day call himself a “Rizz God,” even though that’s exactly what he would do. While it’s often funny to see celebrities tap into viral trends or lingo, the polarizing conversation around him makes it tough to fully enjoy.

Still, he’ll continue his Europe tour dates throughout March, where fans can see the “rizz” for themselves. As an excellent overall performer, it should be a treat for his fans.
