Jhene Aiko Draws Backlash Online For Seemingly Shading Ariana Grande’s New Album

Jhene Aiko is catching some heat, but also some defense, online due to one of her most recent IG Stories. Moreover, she reposted the following message: “Careful! We quickly get used to most things and easily forget how amazing they are,” and soundtracked it with her song, “Eternal Sunshine.” However, some fans called the singer out because she seemed to shade Ariana Grande’s new album, which is also called eternal sunshine and that came out that same day she posted the message. As such, some thought that this was no coincidence and a deliberate attempt to undermine her current partner Big Sean’s ex-girlfriend.

Regardless, some fans didn’t really see this as a big deal for a couple of different reasons. First, there are the people that have their own issues with Ariana Grande and thus justify any attempt, assumption, or claim that paints her in a more negative light. Then, some fans think that Jhene Aiko could’ve just been a victim of coincidence here, as it’s not like “eternal sunshine” is a trademarked phrase. Also, she’s not really the type of artist to engage in that stuff too much, or at least it’s not a part of how she carries herself online. Perhaps more hardcore fans can confirm or deny this in the comments.

Jhene Aiko Seems To Shade Ariana Grande On IG, Fans React

Meanwhile, there are some other and more pressing circumstances that Jhene Aiko’s probably worried about, which is another reason as to why this is probably innocuous. For example, she was reportedly hit with a lawsuit over a 2022 car crash for negligence. While this probably won’t be a big legal case or anything like that, it’s definitely something that takes precedence over attempting to start more drama online. For that reason, we wouldn’t be too pressed about a simple IG Story. Still, check out more reactions to it below.

More Reactions

Regardless, what do you think about this whole debacle and the parties involved? Do you agree with criticism of the pop singer or did the R&B star go a little bit too far with these supposed allusions? However you may feel, drop your thoughts down in the comments section below. As always, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Jhene Aiko, Ariana Grande, and Big Sean.

Offset Recalls Learning Of His Son Jordan’s Musical Abilities: “He Surprised Me”

It’s no secret that Offset takes a lot of pride in his career, but the hitmaker also always makes time to be a great dad. During a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, he opened up about his family life, revealing that he’s passed on some of his talents to his offspring. Offset shares two children with fellow rapper Cardi B, as well as three additional children from previous relationships.

“That’s the main role,” he said of fatherhood. “It’s my thoughts when I’m walking, and when I’m doing everything. I’m always thinking about it. Because I represent them, I don’t just represent me no more.” Offset says that growing up without his father around has motivated him to play an active role in his kids’ lives.

Offset Discusses Fatherhood On The Jennifer Hudson Show

“My father, I love him. Ain’t no hate towards him. But unfortunately, he couldn’t be there. So, I made sure — I gave a promise to myself, when I was a kid, before I even had kids, that no matter any circumstance, I’m always going to be there for my children, and it shows,” he explained. Luckily, his little ones give him plenty to be proud of. During the interview, he recalled learning that his teenage son Jordan has some serious musical talent.

“He surprised me,” he described. “Like, last Christmas, he pulled out his computer. And Fruity Loops is a program, where you produce. And he’s like, ‘Daddy, can I play you a beat?’ So he plays me a beat, but then he makes it in front of me. And I’m like, ‘You 12 man, how you know how to do that?’ And he’s like, ‘I just been practicing.’ And it sounded good.” What do you think of Offset opening up about being a father on The Jennifer Hudson Show? Quavo & Rich The Kid Don’t Totally Hit The Mark On “Real One”

Quavo and Rich The Kid are two of the bigger names we have going in modern hip-hop. Both have their fair share of solid hit songs in their solo discography and have done quite a bit for the genre. 2024 has already been a productive year for the frequent collaborators. Of course, their biggest moments so far are their features on VULTURES 1.

Fans were pretty upset about how Quavo was treated on the eventual release of “FUK SUMN.” He was replaced by Travis Scott, but he did still make it onto “PAPERWORK.” For Rich The Kid, he has been enjoying staying at the top of the charts with “CARNIVAL,” easily the biggest banger from the record. Additionally, he has exciting stuff coming down the line. One third of the Rich Forever group is going to be dropping his first solo album in four years with Life’s a Gamble.

Listen To “Real One” By Quavo & Rich The Kid

He will also be rejoining Jay Critch and Famous Dex possibly this year for the fifth Rich Forever tape. For now, he and Quavo are teaming up once more for a lackluster cut, “Real One.” It is unfortunate to say, but there is not anything to memorable about it. It is certainly passable, but not much more. This single follows up “Himothy” from the last week of February.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Real One,” by Quavo and Rich The Kid? Is this the better of the two tracks from the former Migos rapper, why or why not? Where does this rank amongst the rest of their collaborations? What is your favorite element of the song and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Barbz Are Already Demanding A “Pink Friday 2” Tour Film

Nicki Minaj is just three shows into her Pink Friday 2 Tour and already the Barbz are demanding a “cinematic experience” like Taylor Swift and Beyonce produced last year. “I hope there will be movie experience of this tour! 😍 visuals are top tier and @NICKIMINAJ looks amazing 💖,” one popular fan account on X wrote. As mentioned, Minaj has only hit up Oakland, Denver, and Las Vegas so far on the 57-stop tour. Her next concert is on Sunday in Seattle. The tour runs until July 14, when Minaj will close out with a performance at the Les Ardentes Festival in Belgium.

Furthermore, the tour includes Minaj headlining Wireless Fest in London, a performance she is very excited about. “Instead of doing another arena show in London after we sold out in the first week, I opted to do Wireless Festival. This year’s show will be a billion times more special, creative, beautiful, cohesive, ugh! I’m so excited. I’d like to tell you guys thank you in advance. Last year was so meaningful but won’t compare. Just wait & see,” Minaj wrote on Instagram. Minaj has been a regular feature at Wireless for over a decade.

Nicki Minaj Fans Chant “F*ck Latto” At Opening Show Of Pink Friday 2 Tour

However, the Barbz are already garnering something of a rowdy tour reputation. Several audience members were heard chanting “F-ck Latto” at the tour’s opening show in Oakland. The animosity towards Latto likely stems from her beef with Ice Spice, who is considered a Minaj “ally” after several collabs between the two. Furthermore, Latto is considered a Cardi B “ally” after the pair collaborated on “Put It On Da Floor Again” last year.

Latto and Spice have been trading blows for the last few weeks. Spice released the diss track “Think You The Sh-t (Fart)” before going after Latto for using her music video footage in a TikTok. Meanwhile, Latto hit back with “Sunday Service” and also referred to Spice as a “little girl” in a clapback post on social media.

Mick Jenkins Teams Up With Thelonious For Dark, Jazzy Cut “Yuck Freestyle”

One of the reasons Mick Jenkins is so versatile as an artist is that he fit on top of any production and kill it. While some might think that having a gritty and loud delivery could put you in a box, he makes it work. But that is not to say that the Alabama native cannot dial it back either. It was one of the main reasons why The Patience was such a success. His 2023 album contains some of the strongest rap records of the year such as “Show & Tell,” “Farm to Table,” “Smoke Break-Dance,” and more. In 2024, Mick Jenkins has been prolific with the features lately and he continues that hot streak with “Yuck Freestyle.”

Here, the veteran MC brings his wild trademark cadence to a dark and jazzy beat. The lead artist on this cut is Thelonious. He is making his debut on the HNHH site and unfortunately, there is not too much information on him. However, after doing some digging it appears he hails from Canada. Additionally, Thelonious has been releasing material since 2020.

Listen To “Yuck Freestyle” By Thelonious & Mick Jenkins

From 2021 to the first quarter of 2022, he had been putting out tracks with Three Entertainment Group. After that, Thelonious switched over to Unit 01. This is him and Mick’s first-ever collaboration and we are going to need more from them in the future. Be sure to check it out above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Yuck Freestyle,” by Mick Jenkins and Thelonious? Is this one of Mick’s best guest performances lately, why or why not? Is this your time hearing Thelonious? If not, what tracks do you mess with from him? What is your favorite element of the song and why? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Kanye West Posts “Vultures 2” Album Cover, Fans Lament Lack Of New Music

Another week, another missed album deadline by Kanye West. Fans voiced their displeasure as West posted the cover art for Vultures 2 on the same day that the album was meant to drop. The cover of Vultures 2 shows a masked West holding a framed picture of a person some fans claim is Virgil Abloh and others claim is Ty Dolla $ign’s incarcerated brother.

However, as mentioned, fans were unhappy to be getting the album cover, but no album. “Vultures 2 or GTA 6 dropping first?” asked one fan, referencing the equally tortured development of Rockstar’s open-world game. For context, GTA 6 is scheduled to drop in 2025. “Blud hasn’t mixed/mastered a single track from Vultures 2 yet,” theorized another fan. Despite this, some fans were excited and pointed to next week’s Rolling Loud California, despite West and Ty Dolla $ign not being listed as performers at the event. When do you think Vultures 2 will drop? Let us know in the comments.

Kanye West’s “Carnival” Gets Intense Cover Art

Furthermore, Kanye has gone pretty hard with the cover art for the long-awaited Vultures project. Last month, West unveiled the intense cover art for “Carnival”, one of the standout tracks from Vultures 1. Designed by noted Canadian artist Jon Rafman, the cover art for “Carnival” depicts a close-up of a screaming and bloodied skinhead. Rafman also created the AI-generated music video for “Vultures (Havoc Version)” which was released alongside the album.

“Carnival” features Playboi Carti and Rich the Kid. As mentioned, it is widely considered one of the best tracks on Vultures 1. Many people have already called it the best song of 2024. However, the song proved controversial even before it was released. A version heard at a listening party in Chicago earned the ire of Ozzy Osbourne due to an uncleared sample of Black Sabbath. A later version at a Long Island listening party used a sample of Kanye’s “Hell of a life”, which interpolates the same Black Sabbath song.

Lil Skies Takes A Step Back On “DEATH”

Lil Skies’ career got off to a hot start in the late 2010s with catchy and melodic trap bangers about love and relationships. Of course, his biggest hits were “Nowadays” and “Red Roses” with Landon Cube. That 2017 project Life of a Dark Rose, really put a lot of people on and it flashed a lot of potential. However, since his 2019 tape Shelby, things just have not been the same. “DEATH” by Lil Skies is another unfortunate case.

What makes this even more hard to digest is that this single will be landing on a new record soon. The rumor around town is that Out Your Body Music is supposed to hit streaming services before the end of March. Up until this point, the tracks that are teasing Lil Skies’ fourth tape have not been any more promising. We can appreciate him trying a new sound and cadence, but it just does not sound pleasing to our ears.

Listen To “DEATH” By Lil Skies

For example, his last outing, “THOUSANDS” sees the rapper and singer drowning in reverb and auto tune. While he has always been using it, the effects were more of an enhancement rather than a detriment. “DEATH” features a clunky chorus and video game-like beat that is super redundant and gets stale fast. It does not feel good saying these things about Skies’ music, so hopefully better things await when his LP drops.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “DEATH,” by Lil Skies? Is this one of his strongest tracks lately, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the song and why? Does this get you pumped for his next project Out Your Body Music? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Lil Skies. Finally, stay with us for the most informative song posts throughout the week.

Woah, (Blackout), I can’t fear no man (Yeah)

Drake Loses Massive Bet As Francis Ngannou Suffers Brutal KO

The sports betting bad luck of Drake has struck again. The rapper lost $615K after former MMA star Francis Ngannou suffered a brutal second-round knockout at the hands of former boxing world champion Anthony Joshua. Unlike his previous fight against Tyson Fury, Ngannou was never able to hang with Joshua. He was floored twice before Joshua was able to hit a clean uppercut that rendered Ngannou unconscious. The fighter had been administered oxygen after being roused.

“On the route to the championship, you should always stay focused. This was me stepping aside from that mission. But when I saw [Ngannou] and the fight against Tyson Fury, I was like, ‘Damn, this guy can fight,’ so I said I need a piece of that. He’s an inspiration. He’s a great champion. This doesn’t take away anything of his capabilities because in boxing it’s one or the other. He can come again,” Joshua said after the fight.

Drake Can’t Find A Clean Bet

As mentioned, Drake’s luck has been inconsistent at best when it comes to sports betting. He lost $700K as Dricus du Plessis beat Sean Strickland via split decision at UFC 297. The South African claimed the middleweight title after a bloody back-and-forth that could have easily gone the way of the defending champion. Furthermore, the bout was the fourth middleweight title fight to see the belt change hands. Drake would have won $1.4M if Strickland had been able to defend his title.

In fact, Drake went 0-2 on Strickland. In September 2023, he put down $500K on Israel Adensanya to beat Strickland, only for the American to stun Adensanya at UFC 293. Drizzy would have walked away with a cool $920K if he had won. However, Strickland pulled off what many are calling the greatest upset in UFC middleweight history. Despite this, Drake has found some recent success. He won over $2M for his Super Bowl bet last month.

Offset visited The Jennifer Hudson show and revealed that he once danced in a music video for Whitney Houston.

Calling Houston a “nice, sweet soul” Offset recalled the core memory.

“My mama seen a billboard sign saying you could come try out. I pulled up. I remember my mama told I’ll never forget, ‘When the music come on, just go out there and do your thing. I was smaller than everybody. Everybody was 11 or something, and I was like 8. Then I did it.

I remember she came from the back and pointed me out. When we shot the video, she was just a nice, sweet soul. Bobby Brown was cool too. He was making us laugh. He was cool. Yeah, both of them. I got a lot of cameos too.”
