“Princess Diana” Remix Lands Ice Spice & Nicki Minaj At No. 4 On Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart

This past weekend, Ice Spice’s producer, RiotUSA, was accused of paying fans to listen to their “Princess Diana (Remix)” with Nicki Minaj. The highly anticipated track dropped earlier this month, and while it garnered plenty of attention on its own accord, social media users shared screenshots of the music maker offering them money in exchange for streams. Regardless of the validity of those claims, the numbers are certainly speaking for themselves on the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart. SZA’s “Kill Bill” from last year’s SOS album is still holding onto the top spot, and titles from Morgan Wallen and Miley Cyrus follow.

Coming in fourth place are two of our favourite rap divas, marking Spice’s biggest charting song as a lead artist so far in her short career. As XXL notes, she and PinkPantheress also made it into the top 10 earlier this year with their “Boy’s a liar Pt.2” collaborative effort. On today’s (April 25) update, it remains in the same position (having previously peaked at No. 3 thanks to growing popularity on TikTok), coming after The Weeknd and Ariana Grande’s “Die For You (Remix)” and Drake’s latest official release, “Search & Rescue.”

Billboard‘s Latest Hot 100 Chart

On Monday (April 24), the “Bikini Bottom” hitmaker reflected on her latest W with a tweet. “So proud of ‘Princess Diana’ with Nicki, like my dream collab really came true. I can die happy now.” The mother of one also gave a shoutout to Spice on social media, writing, “Y’ALL!!!!! Two songs in the TOP 10 is crazy!!!!! Congratulations!!! Princesssssss @icespicee_ #PrincessDiana #HeavyOnIt.” Minaj also told the Barbz to “stay tuned,” and sent out plenty of love to her undeniably loyal fan base. “[Thanks] queen 🥰💕💕💕 We eatin’ good [tonight]!”

After dropping the first “Princess Diana (Remix)” on April 14, the duo returned four days later with six different versions of the catchy track for your listening pleasure. Among them were the “extendo clip,” sped up, slowed down, and instrumentals, as well as the 23-year-old’s original solo cut. Coi Leray Shares Scantily Clad Snapshots Ahead Of “Bops” & “My Body” Singles This Weekend

Coi Leray wasn’t impressed when she assumed Latto was dissing her body on her “Put It On Da Floor” single this past weekend. Thankfully, the two rap divas have since cleared the drama up, with the Boston baddie admitting to having overreacted before the 777 hitmaker gave her a shoutout during Coachella weekend two. Now that things have settled, Leray has been able to focus her energy back on two upcoming singles of her own – “Bops” and “My Body.”

For some time now, the 25-year-old has been teasing the tracks on social media. The former will arrive on Thursday (April 27), while the latter is due out this coming New Music Friday (April 28). She’s already shared a salacious twerking video along with a preview of one of the songs, but that’s not all the promotion Leray has in store. On Monday (April 24), she started the week off on a bold note by sharing some snaps that find her posing in a tiny black bathing suit. “Coi 007,” the “Anxiety” artist wrote in the caption.

Coi Leray Stuns in New Instagram Photos

As per usual, the multi-talent’s confidence in her petite frame is evident through the camera, and she didn’t hesitate to tease with some underboob in the second image. Later on in the day, Leray’s feed lit up once again, this time showing her in full glam, swinging from a hoop while wearing a barely-there denim outfit held together by white shoelaces. While the stunning photos are certainly a nice treat, IG followers were even more pleased to hear snippets of this week’s impending arrivals in her next two uploads.

While “Bops” finds her chiefly bragging about how catchy her songs are (especially on TikTok), and how much success she’s found as a result of that, “My Body” seems to clap back at those who always have something to say about her BBL-free figure. Are you looking forward to new music from Coi Leray this weekend? Let us know below, and tap back in later for more HNHH release recommendations and pop culture news updates.

Kali Uchis & Her GFs Get High In The “Moonlight” In Her Magical New Music Video

During the first weekend of Coachella 2023, many patrons (and even fans tuning in at home), labelled Kali Uchis’ set as one of their favourites. Not only did the bilingual songstress tantalize the crowd with her ethereal vocals, but she also brought out an impressive roster of guests to help her. Among them were Tyler, The Creator, who brought plenty of energy to “See You Again,” as well as Omar Apollo and her boyfriend, Don Toliver.

As the Virginia-born starlet prepares to take the stage again, she has another gift for her listeners. Following the arrival of her Red Moon In Venus album earlier this year, Uchis has finally dropped off a music video for one of the tracklist’s most popular titles, “Moonlight.” The pretty and pink visual sees Kali linking up with friends like Cindy Kimberly for a slumber party, during which they snapped digital camera selfies and shared plenty of laughs.

Elsewhere in the new visual, we see Uchis looking as stunning as ever on the hood of a car while basking in the moon’s glow. “I just wanna get high with my lover / Veo una muñeca cuando miro en el espejo / Kiss, kiss,” she sings on the catchy chorus of “Moonlight.” We also see nostalgic dolls at the beginning of the footage, reflected in the lyrics, “Looking dolly, I think I may go out tonight / I just wanna ride, get high in the moonlight.”

It remains unclear if the same surprise guests we previously mentioned will be joining the 28-year-old for her set later today (April 22), or if she has another roster lined up for attendees to enjoy. Aside from making waves with her own performance, she also joined Kaytranada for his highly anticipated concert at the festival, which also saw the producer tap Aminé. Iggy Azalea Shuts Down Coi Leray Feud Rumours On Twitter

The internet is trying to drag Iggy Azalea into a feud with Coi Leray. However, the Australian simply isn’t having it. After the latter artist called out Latto for seemingly body shaming her on the 777 hitmaker’s New Music Friday release of the week, sleuths quickly noticed a post from Azalea’s account seemingly reacting to the situation. “Sometimes the shit y’all fight about on here is so… ehhhh? Tiresome,” the mother of one previously wrote late on Thursday (April 20) evening.

Minutes after the post went up, hate comments obviously began to pour in. They markedly came from those assuming the “Work” rap diva was shading Leray with her subtweet. “Iggy bae naurrrrr they gone try to get you, sister,” one user cautioned her, though she was quick to make it known that she was unbothered by their comments. “I don’t give [a f*ck],” Azalea wrote back. “Y’all cannot convince me you genuinely care about the things you argue on here about all day long. It’s not possible. Lol.”

Iggy Azalea Speaks Her Mind

As reactions to the OnlyFans creator‘s think piece continued to appear, she specifically addressed one pointing out her post’s proximity to the Leray and Latto beef. “Iggy they are thinking you are talking about Coi responding to Latto’s diss. [She] just tweeted about it,” someone explained to Azalea. “I’m talking about the [people] legit arguing online about trivial ass topics that can never have a clear answer and yet are argued about passionately for hours on end,” she clarified.

“Anyone who thinks I’m commenting on anything else only furthers my point that this cannot be reality,” she concluded earlier this week. While her words may be landing her in trouble online, the 32-year-old’s thirst traps are doing nothing but earning her new fans, both on her PPV NSFW website and in real life. In recent weeks, she’s been modelling plenty of different bikinis for the camera as she prepares to release her highly anticipated uncensored nude coffee table book. Coi Leray Helps RAYE “Flip A Switch.” On Must-Hear New Remix

If we had to crown a queen of remixes so far this year, it would undoubtedly be Coi Leray. Not only did she give fans several versions of her smash hit single, “Players,” which first landed in January, but we’ve also heard the Boston native lend her vocal talent to a lot of other artists in recent weeks. At the end of March, it was Sabrina Carpenter’s “Nonsense (Remix),” and now, she’s helping out British singer RAYE with an updated edition of “Flip A Switch.”

The song previously arrived on the foreign talent’s debut album, My 21st Century Blues a few months back, and quickly became a fan favourite. On the chorus, RAYE sings, “Flip a switch on a prick, then I / Come alive in the nighttime / In the club, sippin’ Hennessy / And tell him I’m dead if he callin’ me.” The infectious beat was produced by Mike Sabath, Dj Genius, and the 25-year-old singer-songwriter herself.

RAYE Taps Coi Leray to Remix “Flip A Switch.”

As expected, Leray chiefly brightens up the remix with her bold energy. Her verse begins, “Bad bitch break hearts, all-black Patek watch / Swervin’ through London, we got stars in the race cars.” She later comes through with bars like “We got pretty bitch energy, that’s why they hate us / Guns up for the real ones, let that shit bust,” and “C-O-I, he said, ‘Coi Leray, you lit / We in VIP, takin’ shots with my bitch.” Besides today’s (April 21), single, we’ve also recently heard her on “Baby Don’t Hurt Me” with David Guetta and Anne-Marie, which is already making waves as we inch closer and closer to summer.

Stream Coi Leray and RAYE’s “Flip A Switch (Remix)” on YouTube above, or add the track to your playlist on Spotify/Apple Music. Are you a fan of the Trendsetter‘s latest collaboration? Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage (Remix)” Verse Was Made Less Explicit For Beyoncé, Hottie Says

Along with her ELLE Magazine cover shoot earlier this month, Megan Thee Stallion put together a thoughtful essay reflecting on her recovery after the Tory Lanez shooting. The Suga hitmaker made it abundantly clear that she no longer plans to address the situation in the press, and instead will be pouring her energy into healing in private. While that piece certainly caught the public’s attention, Meg also gave the outlet a more lighthearted interview, during which she spoke about past wins in her career, such as working with Beyoncé on the “Savage (Remix).”

“Beyoncé probably so tired of me saying her name,” the 28-year-old joked when reflecting on the making of their joint effort. “So, we were in quarantine at this time. [She] did the remix, I didn’t believe she was actually gonna do it, but she did it and my mind was blown,” Thee Stallion excitedly shared. “I called my granny, me and my manager was in my living room going crazy.” The moment was obviously major, but before the mother of three would sign off on the track’s release, she had a request for Megan.

Megan Thee Stallion Recalls Working with Bey

“[She asked me], ‘Could you please make your verse like a little bit cleaner?’ I went in my living room and I recorded it right then,” the multi-talent gushed to ELLE. “Beyoncé didn’t have to tell me twice, I sent that verse right back!” Thee Stallion went on to note that the entire experience was “amazing,” and that she’s always been “obsessed” with the RENAISSANCE vocalist. “When I got the collab, like being from Houston with her, I was just appreciative.”

On top of working with Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion also says that seeing the public’s reaction to the song, and how much celebrity support it got, was an incredible feeling. “When I saw people dancing to the song, vibing to it, loving it… I was like, ‘Oh my God, y’all know me!” she humbly admitted. Shenseea Switches Up Her Look For Sultry New “Curious” Single & Visual

Are you feeling particularly “Curious” lately? Then perhaps Shenseea’s brand-new single is the perfect thing for you. This New Music Friday (April 14), the 26-year-old unleashed her first effort of the year (following last week’s feisty freestyle), on which she sings about experiencing strong feelings of lust towards other women. In the accompanying music video, we also see her switching up her look several times, sporting both beautiful blonde hair (which ends up drenched in sticky, golden honey), and a short, bright red style that certainly caught our eye as she sings while laying in a pile of other ladies.

As Urban Islandz notes, the dancehall track was produced by BEAM, Dunw3ll, Fred Ball, and finally, Shenseea’s own beau, London On Da Track. It dropped via Rich Immigrants and Interscope Records and follows the Jamaican’s 2022 album, ALPHA, which earned her plenty of positive reviews. While she collaborated with names like 21 Savage, Megan Thee Stallion, Offset, and Sean Paul on the 14-track album, “Curious” finds her operating solo, and performing more confidently than ever before, as many fans have noted so far.

Shenseea’s Latest Music Video Will Leave You “Curious”

“Met a bad gyal by the name a Tammy / How she put it in reverse on the beat,” the mother of one’s flirtatious bars begin on the first verse. “Gyal, yuh body bad like danger / I want flavour with no chaser.” Following the one-year anniversary of her last project, Shenseea is gearing up to drop another later this year. She previously teased that Kanye West will be appearing as a feature on one of the tracks, though it remains unclear who else she’s been connecting with in the studio at this time.

Ice Spice & Nicki Minaj Are Pretty, Pink, And Bootylicious In The “Princess Diana (Remix)” Music Video

Hours after sharing her highly anticipated remix of “Princess Diana” featuring Nicki Minaj on YouTube, Ice Spice is back with an accompanying music video. As expected, it’s set in a pretty pink bedroom, where we see the Bronx baddie looking like hood royalty in a sparkly pink outfit worn under a feather-trimmed robe. Director Edgar Esteves is responsible for the video, which sees the redhead rocking both her signature afro as well as long, straight locks that reach all the way down to her hips. As she spits the chorus and her first verse for the camera, we see Spice in a series of rosy looks, many of them showcasing her various assets.

“Like, grrah, keep it a stack / Bitches move wock’ ’cause they know I got bands / They be chattin’, I don’t give a damn / And I’m still gettin’ money, I know who I am,” she confidently rhymes. Of course, “Princess Diana” quickly became a fan favourite when it landed on Spice’s Like..? EP earlier this year, but after seeing the close bond she’s quickly formed with Minaj, fans couldn’t wait to hear what the rap divas would cook up for their first collaboration. Based on the reviews of the remix so far, they managed to satisfy the masses.

Ice Spice is Unstoppable

For her part, the Queen of Rap pays homage to the song’s late namesake by giving listeners her best English accent. “I, I, I be eatin’ my spinach, they tried to clone my image / They burned they London Bridges, none of them bitches British,” her verse begins. Elsewhere, she left us shocked with bars like “Like grrah, keep it a stack / Bitches is ass if we keepin’ it crack.” In the “Princess Diana (Remix)” visual, Minaj also stuns in various looks, many of them showcasing her famously curvaceous behind, which she doesn’t hesitate to shake.

Check out the visual for Ice Spice and Nicki’s new remix on YouTube above. Afterward, let us know which of the Bronx baddie’s on-camera outfits is your favourite in the comments. Ice Spice’s “Princess Diana (Remix)” With Nicki Minaj Has Twitter Singing The Rap Divas’ Praise

It’s Ice Spice season. Since blowing up with “Munch (Feelin’ U)” last summer, the 23-year-old drill artist has been achieving one major career milestone after another. She earned a co-sign from Drake early on and now, she’s collaborating with one of the biggest names in hip-hop. Spice likely never saw this sort of success coming her way so quickly, though she’s obviously taking advantage of it. This New Music Friday (April 14), the famous redhead was joined by Nicki Minaj on the remix of “Princess Diana.” The song originally comes from her Like..? EP, which arrived earlier this year to great reviews.

The song begins with Isis Gaston reciting her famous bars from the chorus over production by RIOTUSA. “They be chattin’, I don’t give a damn and I’m still gettin’ money, I know who I am,” the Bronx-born lyricist reminds listeners. “And I just fell in love with a gangsta / So he put my name in a tat’,” she flirtatiously rhymes while beginning the first verse. “But I don’t let him come to the crib / So we get it on where we at.” Following that the Queen of Rap comes through with some heat, leaving the Barbz applauding her wit and flow.

Nicki Minaj Slides on the “Princess Diana (Remix)”

“Like grrah, keep it a stack / Bitches is ass if we keepin’ it crack,” she hilariously rhymes near the end of the remix’s second verse. “Bad little redhead, she ’bout to black / We come out, it’s a movie, but we don’t do BAP.” Since arriving at midnight, the song has garnered plenty of strong reactions from social media users. For the most part, they’ve been incredibly positive. “Twitter was praying that Nicki would start some kind of beef with Ice Spice only for Nicki to hop on the ‘Princess Diana’ remix and sign her under her new record label on a partnership deal,” one person proudly pointed out.

Another chimed in with, “The way Nicki bodied her ‘Princess Diana’ verse is insane, like the bars the metaphors, the energy. Mother slid! I’m not over this serve literally fkn still gagged.” Keep scrolling for more Twitter reactions to Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice’s “Princess Diana (Remix).” After reading be sure to tell us your thoughts on the hot new collaboration in the comments.

Doja Cat Gives Unserious Album Updates On Twitter: “I Quit Music”

Doja Cat fans are still waiting for her upcoming album, despite the fact that her recent tweeting spree has left us more confused than ever. To begin her weekend, the Planet Her hitmaker teased some potential raunchy song names, also telling followers that she’s changing her sound up, and leaning more into the world of rap than her usual pop sounds. “I also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny,” the fashionista noted in another post. “I know they are, I wasn’t trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing y’all say that I can’t, so I will.”

The next evening, Sunday (April 9), Doja returned with yet another update, this one far less serious than her last. “The whole album is no longer rap y’all,” she asserted. “It’s rock/spoken work and the album title is not ‘Hellmouth’ anymore.” In her next tweet, the Californian shared that the project is being rebranded as Moist Holes, a “French conceptual experimental country/bohemian fusion with the essence of blue-grass” effort. Minutes later, the “Say So” songstress shut down any concern with a quick “Jk” while also boasting that her work-in-progress has “100” guest features.

Doja Cat Provides Unusual Updates on Hellmouth

The trolling didn’t stop there, of course. As reactions to her comedic announcements continued to roll in, Doja declared, “I quit music.” She goes back and forth with herself in another series of posts, though ultimately promises readers that she’s going to finish making Hellmouth. “Jk I quit. I’m done with this music shit it’s only making me sadder every day. I can’t take it anymore,” the 27-year-old vented, though it remains unclear how serious she was being at the time.

In her final post of the night, Doja Cat caused even more confusion regarding her next album’s genre. “As long as it’s not a country album🙏,” one person wrote. In response, the recording artist teased, “And THAT it is… :p.” Keep scrolling to see her unusual recent posts for yourself, and check back later for more music news updates.
