“I’m getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the Internet,” Lizzo explained in the post. “All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I’m starting to feel like the world doesn’t want me in it. I’m constantly up against lies being told about me for clout & views… being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look… my character being picked apart by people who don’t know me and disrespecting my name. I didn’t sign up for this s— — I QUIT [peace out emoji].” Check out Lizzo’s statement featuring a comment from Latto below.

Rod Wave Seemingly Quits Music In Latest Social Media Rants Amid Beef With Boosie Badazz

The beef between Rod Wave and Boosie Badazz continues to get spicier and spicier by the hour it seems now. This all began a couple of days ago when the Louisiana rapper called out the Florida R&B and rap star for biting off of one of his older tracks. In fact, it landed on Boosie’s 2010 record Incarcerated, and was called “Long Journey.” Rod has the same name on his latest commercially successful record, Nostalgia.

Boosie has been furious about all of this saying a lawsuit is in order. On top of that, he has also been in the studio cooking up a diss track for him, including anyone else who has borrowed from him. He is sick and tired of getting love but no compensation for his work. Rod Wave has replied to him saying he does not need to be getting lawyers involved and he would pay him as long as it is nothing too outrageous. However, it seems the soulful singer has had enough of the criticism.

In a Twitter (X) rant, he apparently has quit music. Now, this could be real, but more than likely, it is a byproduct of tensions being really high between the two artists. Nonetheless, here is what he had to say about all of the sample stealing. The tweets go in the order. They seem to be deleted, but they read, “I ain’t never stole s*** 5 platinum albums find u a hobby f*** n****.” The next one says, “F*** y’all I did wat I came ta do I ain’t dropping s*** else.” Finally, Rod goes, “Jus cuz youn know bout da original song mean I stole it? U dumb b****.” A lot of fans are already joking about it, with one saying he will be singing about this on his next album.

What are your initial thoughts on Rod Wave saying he is quitting music and nothing else is coming out? Do you believe him, or is he really upset with the situation around Boosie Badazz? If Rod never made music again, how much would that affect the rap game? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Westside Gunn Reveals “AND THEN YOU PRAY FOR ME” Will Be His Last Album

Westside Gunn’s fifth album AND THEN YOU PRAY FOR ME is just a few days away from release. It is going to be a massive listen with tons of big-name features. Denzel Curry, JID, Tay Keith, Conway the Machine, DJ Drama, and plenty more are on the amazing tracklist. It is a follow-up to his 2020, Pray for Paris, which features some of his best tracks. There is quite a bit of hype around it and it will be on all streaming platforms on October 13. However, a lot of hip-hop fans might be disappointed.

Apparently, this going to be the last album for Gunn. According to HipHopDX, he spoke with Rolling Stone in a recent interview. It was put out just yesterday (October 9) and he discussed what fans should expect to hear on this project and going forward. But, the biggest nugget is that no more albums will be made. Westside says, “making a studio album, I’m done with all that. It’s back to dumping until I don’t want to dump no more. I’m going to have fun now. It’s no more pressure. This album was pressure to me.”

While this is sad to hear on the surface, the Buffalo rapper is not retiring by any stretch. He continues, “I’m not saying I won’t come with a five-song EP with Madlib or I won’t do a seven-song EP with Alchemist or I won’t rap. I’ll do all of that.” Gunn mentions that he wants to help put other new artists on the map, explore new sounds, and have fun with his music. If this is really it for albums, we are sure he will deliver on his last hoorah.

What are your initial thoughts and opinions on Westside Gunn saying is not making albums anymore? Do you believe him or is he just trying to hype up the release of his next project? Will this be Gunn’s best work he has ever put out? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Doja Cat Gives Unserious Album Updates On Twitter: “I Quit Music”

Doja Cat fans are still waiting for her upcoming album, despite the fact that her recent tweeting spree has left us more confused than ever. To begin her weekend, the Planet Her hitmaker teased some potential raunchy song names, also telling followers that she’s changing her sound up, and leaning more into the world of rap than her usual pop sounds. “I also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny,” the fashionista noted in another post. “I know they are, I wasn’t trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m getting tired of hearing y’all say that I can’t, so I will.”

The next evening, Sunday (April 9), Doja returned with yet another update, this one far less serious than her last. “The whole album is no longer rap y’all,” she asserted. “It’s rock/spoken work and the album title is not ‘Hellmouth’ anymore.” In her next tweet, the Californian shared that the project is being rebranded as Moist Holes, a “French conceptual experimental country/bohemian fusion with the essence of blue-grass” effort. Minutes later, the “Say So” songstress shut down any concern with a quick “Jk” while also boasting that her work-in-progress has “100” guest features.

Doja Cat Provides Unusual Updates on Hellmouth

The trolling didn’t stop there, of course. As reactions to her comedic announcements continued to roll in, Doja declared, “I quit music.” She goes back and forth with herself in another series of posts, though ultimately promises readers that she’s going to finish making Hellmouth. “Jk I quit. I’m done with this music shit it’s only making me sadder every day. I can’t take it anymore,” the 27-year-old vented, though it remains unclear how serious she was being at the time.

In her final post of the night, Doja Cat caused even more confusion regarding her next album’s genre. “As long as it’s not a country album🙏,” one person wrote. In response, the recording artist teased, “And THAT it is… :p.” Keep scrolling to see her unusual recent posts for yourself, and check back later for more music news updates.
