Noname says that she feels “free” following the release of her latest album, Sundial. She reflected on the response to the album and how she’s dealt with it during a lengthy post on Instagram, Friday.

“Thank you everyone who ever supported me!” she wrote while sharing a selfie. “Sundial and my online presence over the past few years has turned a lot of people off me and that’s completely understandable. although many fans stop supporting with this new record, i just want you to know i’m truly appreciative for the times you did! i’ll forever be grateful for love, even if it’s temporary.”

Among the many complaints that fans have had with Sundial is that Jay Electronica’s contribution is “antisemitic.” In response to the backlash, Noname refused to apologize for a verse she didn’t write. In the lyrics, Electronica voices support for Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan, while calling Volodymyr Zelenskyy a “joke,” and more. “Everywhere I step foot I leave a trail of names. Of the sons of Yakub, in a trail of flames. I’m on fire, I’m plugged in directly to Messiah. I run with the mighty ‘Khan as we expose the liars,” he raps. “And some fuckboy eighty-fiver come run up and press me. It’s all a hoax, quite simple, a joke like Zelenskyy. The Imams, the Rabbis, and the Pope, incidentally. Couldn’t stop my boca from quotin’ quotes from the senseis.”

Cardi B’s on a wild press run right now for her new single with Megan Thee Stallion, “Bongos.” Moreover, during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, she spoke to the co-hosts about her haters and how people seem to get blasted online just for liking her. “Yeah, yeah,” the Bronx MC answered Charlamagne Tha God’s question on whether she reads hateful comments. “You gotta also know what people like, though. You know what? I be feeling like a lot of people hate to admit that they like me. A lot of people are afraid to say that they like me. When people say that they like me, they get attacked. Or if they take my side on anything. So I have to accept that.

In another interview, the 30-year-old spoke on collaborating with other female artists in the game and their idiosyncrasy, shouting out many femcees in the process. “A lot of people be, like, thinking that I be collaborating with the girls and everything ’cause ‘Oh, you’re such a girl’s girl,’” Cardi B explained. “‘What makes you want to be a girl’s girl?’ It’s not that I’m a girl’s girl, I’m just a girl. “Top Boy” Season 5: Fans React To The Final Series

“Top Boy” has unfortunately come to a close, and the British crime drama left fans wanting more in the best way. Upon Series 5’s airing on Netflix on Thursday (September 7), die-hards immediately took to social media to share their thoughts on how it all wrapped up and how the journey to get there compelled them- or disappointed them. Regardless, it’s quite the sad end, as a series that was revived off of pure fandom and interest had to one day come to a close. Still, it was a great and highly successful run, and we’d love to hear what your favorite moments from the show were down in the comments.

If you haven’t seen it yet, there’s never been a better time to start than now. Of course, it goes without saying that if you don’t want this final series spoiled for you, we recommend you refrain from scrolling through these reactions. There were a lot of moments not just in the finale, but throughout the whole season that inspired some comical references and reactions online. A clip of one of Michel’le’s recent performances has gotten some attention online lately, and it’s sparking concern among her fans. In the clip, she’s seen looking out of sorts onstage, and fumbling through one of her songs. The crowd sounds confused, but seems to have tried to sing along to encourage her to pick things back up. The singer then lowers herself to the ground to show off some dance moves, and appears to nearly fall. It’s unclear exactly what led to the worrisome performance, however, social media users have been speculating.

Many users believe that Michel’le’s abnormal show was the result of her being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, as she’s been open about her struggle with substance abuse in the past. Previously, she’s stated that she turned to prescription drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism during her allegedly abusive relationship with Dr. Dre. According to reports, she was eventually put into rehab for a short time by Suge Knight, who also allegedly abused her.

Michel’le took to social media today, giving supporters an update on her wellbeing after the clip circulated. “I wanna thank everyone who was concerned, or have inquired about my well being,” she explained. “I am FINE and looking forward to my next show. Blessings & love to you all. #Inevergiveup #yallknowimafighter.” Though she didn’t give many specifics, some commenters are urging her to seek treatment for substance abuse. Others, however, are condemning her and demanding she apologize to the show’s attendees.

“Y’all don’t know the struggle and battles people fight in secret,” one social media user writes. “Y’all act like she committed some sort of crime.” In a 2016 interview with Huffington Post, Michel’le spoke on her spiral into substance abuse amid her relationship with Dr. Dre. “When you’re living in it, you can’t see it. A lot of celebrities and music stars deal with fans who tend to get a little too close for comfort. Usually, they react by questioning the stranger “What are you doing?” Or, they will get irritably frustrated and tell them to back off. Both are fair ways to handle those types of situations.

However, these exchanges for Big Sean and Jhene Aiko have gone too far and they are looking to put an end to this. It is not only concerts this fan is going to, he is also sneaking onto their property! TMZ says that Jhene was the one to initiate the court to do something about these eerie occurrences. Jhene and Sean are seeking a temporary restraining order against him. What put this over the line, was the 29-year-old Ian Craig Lees making his way into the singer’s Pacific Palisades property.

Drake Surprises Fans Waiting To Get Wristbands For His Show

Moreover, a group of fans were waiting deep into the night and almost into the next morning on Friday (August 18) to get wristbands for Saturday’s San Francisco show. Said bands grant access to a special standing area. Thanks to new social media clips from this incredibly lucky group, we now see how much the 6 God appreciates their support.

Furthermore, Drake emerged from a black SUV to say hi to these folks, who all expressed shock and awe. They took pictures together and even got into some friendly banter after overcoming the sheer surprise. He explains that he is in critical need of toilet paper, asking them to go him find some. As one of the fans agrees to go find him toilet paper, he lets them know that once he gets it, he’ll “take a picture with everybody.”

It’s clear that Boosie had bigger things to worry about in the moment, but it seems like the duo probably ended up with a photo eventually. Unfortunately, this isn’t the only sh*tty situation the 40-year-old has found himself in as of late. As a hard-working and focused MC, though, he’s sure to beat these allegations soon, and they certainly won’t slow his hustle down. Still, many fans thought he was overshooting when he named various great rappers and credited them as influencing his hybrid style. Rather than think about whether his music sounds like theirs in concept, they went for his throat on the quality and status end.

The comments come after she reportedly lost over 250,000 followers in two days due to arguing with her fans online. All-in-all, she’s down 800,000 since the incident. The drama began when she took issue with her followers for calling themselves “Kitten” or “Kittenz.”

“Seeing all these people unfollow me makes me feel like I’ve defeated a large beast that’s been holding me down for so long and it feels like I can reconnect with the people who really matter and love me for who I am and not for who I was,” Doja Cat posted on her Instagram Story, Wednesday. “I feel free.”

Despite gearing up for the release of a new album, Doja recently admitted during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar that she’d be willing to take a break from music to explore acting as a possible career. She even admitted she’d like to try her hand at stand-up comedy. “[Stand-up] is something I’ve definitely considered,” she told the publication. “I actually went onstage recently with Craig Robinson. He’ll get on a piano and just play songs, but he’ll do it in his own Craig Robinson, funny-ass way. I would love to do movies that I believe in. I would have to stop the music for a minute. But I would be down to immerse myself in acting for a certain period of time. I love comedies and action films. I want to learn martial arts and be in a film like John Wick.”
