Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn have a pretty interesting history together, one that Noah Schnapp would recall with some reservations. Moreover, you may remember that Schnapp exposed Doja’s DMs to him asking him to set her up with his Stranger Things costar, Quinn. Well, it looks like two years after that whole debacle, she and Joseph might actually be an item. This gossip and speculation comes from multiple reports. One from Deuxmoi claims that the two went to the Osees’ Friday (August 16) show at Dingwalls in Camden, London and couldn’t keep their hands off one another according to the report.

On the other hand, another report from The Irish Sun photographed Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn apparently enjoying a drink together at a pub in London. While neither report truly makes it crystal clear that they’re dating, this is certainly enough for fans to mull over and theorize about. Many of them made note of her split from J.Cyrus, if they didn’t know about that controversial situation already. As such, take all of this with a grain of salt, as we still have to wait for stronger confirmation of this or more public outings.

Other recent Doja Cat stories revolve more around her place in the rap game, with Joe Budden recently issuing a hot take about her ranking. “Latto is ill,” he remarked on his podcast. “I might have to have her [at] number two. Nicki is number one for me. I think Latto would give Doja a long night. She can’t rap like that. If I’m just talking about rapping, Doja can pack it up if Latto walk in the studio with her notebook. Doja Cat’s pretty prolific and unfiltered on social media, but sadly, not even she can control everything that happens on her account. A Twitter hack had her page dissing Iggy Azalea, and her most recent Instagram Live session was subject to quite the bizarre, albeit slightly hilarious, interruption. Moreover, the Los Angeles creative was just talking normally and smoking her cigarette when a man moved the curtain of the window behind her (is this a weird hotel of some sort?). Then, he proceeded to press his bare buttocks up against the window and shake them slightly before pulling the curtain out again and disappearing, which left her with a shocked and awe-struck expression on her face.

Furthermore, this is definitely one of the oddest and most comical things to happen on Doja Cat’s Instagram in a while, and that’s saying something. Still, she knows when to take things down a notch, such as some new snaps of a new haircut and style look. The social media feed doesn’t always have to look like a collection of notable and effective antics: sometimes, people just want to get ready with you. Hopefully future IG Live sessions see funnier moments that aren’t as blatantly NSFW, for both Doja’s sake and our own.

“No, I just can’t drink [Celsius],” Doja Cat remarked. “I have a really cr*zy Celsius story, I almost got into a beef because of Celsius. I blame this on Celsius, it’s not me! So I was singing a song and doing the voice of somebody else. Like, I filmed myself doing the song in a cr*zy voice, and it was my really bad impression of that person. People took it super wrong. They thought I was trying to cause drama and issues, when really I was just being a f***ing a**hole.” Folks eventually connected the dots and assumed that she could have been referring to a years-ago incident with Cardi B.

Doja Cat Gets Restraining Order Against Brother Denied

If you’ve been up to date on what Doja Cat is up to online, you might have seen some concerning news about her brother. Moreover, Raman Dlamini allegedly stole from her and engaged in physically and mental abuse, and also received similar accusations of poor treatment towards their mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer. Her restraining order against him expired, but she’s since gained a new one that will last five years. However, when it comes to the Scarlet superstar, the court reportedly denied a permanent restraining order in her favor against her brother, per AllHipHop. At press time, it’s unclear exactly what prompted this refusal or what grounds it stands on, as this didn’t come with an exoneration or excuse for her brother’s alleged behavior.

Furthermore, these claims come from Doja Cat’s mother, who claimed Raman Dlamini engaged in these crimes “several times” and made them feel “unsafe.” Another allegation concerning this is that the 30-year-old male destroyed property belonging to his 28-year-old sister. “Raman has destroyed and stolen property,” the original filing regarding Doja Cat and her mother read. “Raman has verbally assaulted [Doja] in a very degrading and demeaning [manner]. [He] has made her feel unsafe and traumatized.” In addition, Sawyer claimed that Raman’s actions led to “constant anxiety and fear” in their lives.
