Kid Cudi Hints That His 2024 Plans Include A ‘Cudi’ Memoir And Global Book Tour, In Addition To His Upcoming Music

“At The Party” rapper Kid Cudi loves to announce his grandiose plans for the following years with fans online. While many things on his goal board for 2023 came true. Other pursuits, such as his Moon Man’s Landing Festival and Insano album, were delayed. Cudi is notorious for considering things (i.e., his interest in stand-up comedy), but it seems his next set of creative ideas is on track for 2024.

According to a series of posts shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) page, next year, the entertainer plans on releasing a memoir with a global promotional book tour to support it in addition to his previous musical obligations. “My memoir is called CUDI By Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi. My hope is to drop it next year around September. Going through my life and the journey it has, so far, bringing me so much peace,” wrote the rapper.

“I know this book will inspire you to live your life to the fullest every chance you get, reach for your dreams, and work hard to bring them to reality and keep God close. Because through all the ups and downs, He’s the one that’s never left you alone. My hope is that after you read this, you’ll have the confidence to bet on yourself and strive to live life as a better human on this planet and spread love,” he continued.

Cudi has not released an official date, but he’s sure about the September 2024 time frame based on his interaction with a curious fan.

Cudi made it clear that he wants to fully embrace the published work once it is released with a full-on book tour. “I’ll be doing a little tour to bookstores around the globe doing signings. So, be on the lookout,” urged the songwriter.

This year was huge for memoirs; ask Britney Spears and Jada Pinkett Smith. Cher also hinted at starting her memoir soon.

Not only did the Memphis spitter flow like wildfire on “One Me,” but chose a grimy and progressive beat to captivate listeners who might not know to his sound. There’s a similar “stick-to-your-guns” energy on Kodak Black’s new single “Eaze Your Mind,” which instrumentally is nothing remarkable. However, the Florida rapper leans into his strained and unfiltered emotive delivery that his die-hards really connect with.

Even though it’s been a rocky road, with snippets that fans disliked, it’s a blessing to have that be the most contentious part of your rollout. Moreover, he is hyping up the album with plenty of teases about it, and a huge one arrived during (presumably) one of his intimate Cudder’s Clubhouse shows in New York. Speaking to the crowd, the Cleveland native revealed the features that will appear on his next full-length. The best part? It’s not even a full list, and it’s already stacked with great artists.

“We got Travis, we got Rocky, we got Yachty, who else? We got a couple,” Kid Cudi remarked to deafening cheers. “Oh yeah we got Thug on there, I got Pusha. That’s enough, I don’t want to- I got more than that, but that’s enough.” Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Young Thug, and Pusha T sound like a fantastic set of collaborators for this next phase of Scott Mescudi’s music career. He has great chemistry and past collabs with all of them except Yachty, and their first team-up should yield some incredible results considering their artistic visions.

Kid Cudi’s looking forward to the release of his next album INSANO in 2024, but that doesn’t mean he’ll twiddle his thumbs for the rest of 2023. Moreover, he just announced a new concert series for fans titled Cudder’s Clubhouse, where he said he’ll play deep cuts in more intimate settings. Overall, if you’re a hardcore fan of the Cleveland creative, then you should definitely give these first tickets a look. So far, the only concrete dates are for October 11 and 13 respectively in New York City, but he said there will be about seven concerts in total. Considering that Scott Mescudi will apparently go through hits, never-before-performed songs, and deep-cut fan-favorites, this could be a very special occasion for fans.

Of course, this will hit many die-hards as a huge disappointment, especially considering that its original release date was on September 15. However, it seems like the Cleveland creative wanted to give something special to fans to make up for it. Moreover, he did it in the best way: by sharing two tracks off the album exclusively on SoundCloud. “ILL WHAT I BLEED” and “MOST AIN’T DENNIS” are two woozy, bass-heavy, and minimal trap cuts that see him going in a slightly different direction, and he said that these are two of his favorites in his message.

“Hey fam!!” Kid Cudi’s announcement began. “Got some updates for yall. Some bad news, some good. I have to push INSANO back til January. Kid Cudi took to Twitter on Friday (August 11) to share some heartbreaking news. The Cleveland creative shared with fans that his grandmother passed away peacefully at 101 years of age. Moreover, his supporters and regular users alike shared their sympathies, messages of support and condolences in the comments. “My grandma died today peacefully at 101,” he wrote. “She lived a long life and Ill miss her so much. Bye for now Grandma. Ill see u again one day. I love you.” We send our heartfelt condolences to Cudi and wish him well on his path of healing, grief, and his future career.

While Cudi saw a nomination for Best Animated Program for his Netflix special Entergalactic, RiRi got five for her Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show spectacle. Those categories are Outstanding Technical Direction Camerawork for a Special, Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special, Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, Outstanding Music Direction, and Outstanding Variety Special (Live).

“Pull up breed up 2 d bashment…” Rihanna wrote in a behind-the-scenes Instagram post of the event on Wednesday (July 12). Through those new pictures, she celebrated the nominations while recalling the awe-inspiring show.

Hopefully this tweet means that Mr. Rager is featured on one or both of these highly anticipated 2023 albums. Moreover, Kid Cudi recently took to the social media platform to express his excitement for Travis Scott’s UTOPIA and Lil Uzi Vert’s The Pink Tape. Both albums are rumored to drop very soon this year, with Uzi’s being teased to death these days and presumably dropping on June 30. Sure, UTOPIA is in a similar place of endless hype, but there’s less concrete details directly from La Flame’s mouth in comparison to what Baby Pluto has given us so far. While Cudi has never worked with Uzi before, the excitement should be nothing new considering recent news.

Furthermore, Kid Cudi tapped Lil Uzi Vert to perform at his upcoming Moon Man’s Landing Festival in 2023. As such, presumably the two have a good working relationship, and thus a good reason to collaborate. Maybe that’s wishful thinking, but at least that doesn’t have the pressure of a Cudi and Travis Scott link-up. After all, their potential collaborative project has been confirmed, discarded, or put on hold in the past.
