King Harris Previews Song Honoring His Grandmother After Fighting With T.I. & Tiny

King Harris teased a new song on his Instagram page, Sunday, after getting into an argument with his parents at the Atlanta Falcons’ game against the New Orleans Saints. After Harris hopped on Instagram Live and spoke about “getting into fights,” Tiny corrected her son while T.I. accused him of “embarrassing” himself and the family.

“As long as you stay by my side,” he captioned the song preview. Many fans took King’s parent’s side in their recent argument in response to the post. One fan commented: “Your mom and dad from the hood and became successful. Please stay in the gated community you were raised in.” Another wrote: “You talking all this shit until your allowance stops.”

King previously discussed his relationship with his grandmother during an interview with Funny Marco, earlier this year. He explained that T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle wasn’t an accurate depiction of his upbringing. “Yeah, man, it’s a lot about that TV show, man, that [confuses] people,” he said. “Because I live with my grandma. You know, we’ll go to the house on, like, the weekend. They’ll say ‘Hey, we shooting today. We need y’all at the house.’ They go get me from my grandma’s house. Right after we done, when the cameras go off, I’m right back to my grandma’s house, yeah.” Be on the lookout for further updates on King Harris on HotNewHipHop.

Kid Cudi Mourns His Grandma

It’s sad that the 39-year-old won’t get to enjoy this release with his grandma, but we’re sure she will be with him every step of the way. Although it was in a much lighter context, and perhaps is insensitive to refer to within this piece, Kid Cudi recently shared how he sees himself aging. This was after fans clowned him for hopping on the McDonald’s Grimace shake trend. “I see people dont get my humor and thats ok but dont be an a**hole on here cuz im being myself,” he wrote on Twitter. “I dont care what anyone thinks, ima always be myself. My silly goofy self. And my friends and family love me for it.”

“Soooo im suppose to like, lose my childlike spirit becuz im almost 40??” he continued in other tweets. “Maybe thatll be ur sad fate my friend, but ima be a happy silly dude til im old and grey. As u get older life sucks ur soul from u bit by bit and u lose that light u had inside when u were a kid. Ive always fought to preserve this spirit becuz I knew I didnt want to lose it.” For more news and the latest updates on Kid Cudi, check back in with HNHH.

Usher Feels ‘A Bit Lost’ After Losing His Grandmother

Usher is mourning the death of his beloved Grandmother, Tina. The crooner took to social media to reveal the loss of his late grandmother with his 10.6 million followers. “I LOVE U MORE,” he captioned a series of photos the late matriarch.

“It’s taken me a few days to come to grips with the fact that my Grandma Tina is no longer with me. I’m praying for clarity and strength for all whom relied on her. Her daily devotion was to help those in need and she did just that. It was her life’s work. She was truly a prayer warrior for me and so many others. I feel a bit lost right now.”

Usher’s ode to his grandmother didn’t end there. He opened up about how he’s coping with the traumatic loss. “Part of me is trying to be strong, for others. Her belief was that GOD always has a plan. I’m trying to understand that right now. And the other half of me continues to break silently. We were just laughing days ago. I really thought we had more time.”

Ernestine Carter died in her Chattanooga home on Christmas Eve. She was 87 years old. “When I was lost, she was always there,” Usher continued. I needed the perfect Bible verse to suit the reality of what I was facing at the time she’s provided it.”  The Grammy Award winning singer ended the heartfelt message with a quote from a friend.

“Someone told me just today, ‘Keep in mind that it’s only sad b/c we miss them and that’s us being selfish and rightfully so but it’s really a congratulatory celebration b/c they’re at the ultimate place forever!’ I believe that. She will be missed very much.”

The news of Miss Ernestine’s passing comes on the heels of Usher announcing that 50 more shows will be adding to his Las Vegas Residency in 2023. Our thoughts and prayers are with the singer at this time.
