6ix9ine Compiles His Biggest Records For “Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Greatest Hits”

While 6ix9ine might not make headlines for his musical output anymore, you have to hand it to him for being a consistent hitmaker. That was especially the case in the latter half of the 2010’s decade and even into the 2020’s. The quality of said tracks and records is up for debate, as his antics, absurd and offensive lyrics, and physical appearance seemed to be the main draw for a lot of people. However, that was maybe the goal all along. It certainly worked if that was the case, as the New York born rapper was absolutely everywhere.

It is why this Greatest Hits compilation from 6ix9ine is fairly warranted. Tekashi decided to include 21 songs from various projects, with most of them coming from DUMMY BOY, Day 69: Graduation Day, and TattleTales. Looking at this tracklist, it’s just amazing how he was able to pull of such big-ticket collaborations. Even wilder is that Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Tory Lanez, and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie all came back for seconds and thirds. If you want to relive the glory days of the rainbow-haired rapper, check out the links for Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Greatest Hits below.

Jay Rock Says TDE Compilation Is Coming Soon With Most Of Black Hippy

Jay Rock’s coming out with a new album soon, but that’s not everything that he’s looking forward to when it comes to new releases. Moreover, he recently responded to an interviewer’s question about whether there will be a Black Hippy feature on his new album with an even more exciting prospect. For those unaware, Black Hippy is the Top Dawg Entertainment supergroup comprised of Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Kendrick Lamar. While the California MC didn’t respond to his album particularly, he did relay some brand-new teases about an upcoming project that aims to celebrate the label’s 20-year history in the game.

“I mean, I can tell you this,” Jay Rock expressed, seemingly at TDE’s tenth annual holiday concert. “I know we doing the compilation album. You know, TDE for 20 years, you know what I mean? It’s been 20 years since TDE been in the game, you know what I’m saying? So we putting together a compilation album, so we should be dropping that at the top of the year. I don’t know how many songs we’re going to put on there, but we got a majority of Black Hippy on that thing. So make sure y’all check it out, it’s on the way. The TDE compilation album, you know what I mean?”

Jay Rock On TDE Compilation Album

As such, it looks like endless rumors about this group’s status yield more promising results. That being said, Jay Rock’s answer here still leaves a lot of question marks behind, which only gets fans more excited and anxious to see the final product. For one, it seems like at least one of the aforementioned MCs won’t be on here, presumably Kendrick since he left the label not too long ago. On the other hand, it’s unclear if this will compile older or previously released material or if it’s brand-new songs from this crew. Either way, we’re sure die-hards will love to dive in.

Meanwhile, are you looking forward to the “Still That Way” spitter’s upcoming new album? What about this TDE compilation? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments section down below. Also, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Jay Rock and TDE.

Singles from the album like 42 Dugg’s “One Time” and GloRilla’s posse cut “Wrong One” have already emerged as standout tracks from the album. Another standout track could be “Cha Cha Cha” which sees GloRilla teaming up with Fivio Foreign and has connected with a lot of fans already.

Fans Clown Gunna For All His Anti-Snitching Bars

He can’t catch a break, can he? Gunna just got clowned on social media, particularly Twitter, after a fan compiled many of his anti-snitching bars. Of course, given his plea deal in the YSL case, such lyrics ring particularly false in hindsight. Moreover, fans immediately started to joke around and blast the Atlanta rapper for his unfulfilled promises. However, many also pointed out that nobody knows how they’d act until they’re put in that position, so many the hate is undue. Still, despite Gunna’s previous claims that he refused to cooperate, courtroom videos and the industry’s reactions suggest otherwise.

For example, his name recently got censored on a Lil Keed track off his posthumous album, Keed Talk To ‘Em 2. For those of you curious to hear the cut and Wunna’s omission for yourself, it allegedly happened on the song “Hottest.” In addition, other rappers unfollowed him on social media and threw out apparent subliminal disses on song leaks. As such, it’ll be interesting to see where Gunna goes from here in the rap game, and how (or if) he recaptures his audience.

Gunna’s Anti-Snitching Bars Compilation

Still, according to DJ Akademiks, the “Drip or Drown” artist has a new album ready to drop. Not only that, but it’s reportedly unaffiliated from YSL and will be part of a new major record label deal. With that in mind, if he’s to continue his music career, it’ll likely take a much different shape. Sure, the style might be the same, but he already seemed to cut some ties. However, he did show love to Young Thug in his first IG post following his plea deal.

In addition, these rumors received a boost on Sunday (March 19) after a new song snippet surfaced online. Moreover, his friend and model Brittany Reshaun posted a short clip onto her Instagram story, In it, he seems to refer to YSL. “Heard the rumors said I’m packing up and flying out / We ain’t going nowhere I’m staying here, gone fight it out,” he raps. “I meant like f**k it / Let’s just give these n***as dark clouds / Been gone for months and I just keep seeing these dark clouds.” Overall, perhaps Gunna will never dodge snitch allegations and his YSL friendship-turned-beef. Still, maybe he replaces that with an even bigger career move. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest on Gunna and check out the anti-snitching bars compilation above.

Oakstop Alliance & Homeboy Sandman Deliver New Album, “Royalty Summit”

Oakland-based nonprofit Oakstop Alliance has released a new compilation album titled Royalty Summit. Moreover, Homeboy Sandman curated that summit with the nonprofit to showcase the region’s best MCs, producers, and artists. As such, the album delivers soulful but summery beats, a lot of charisma, and eccentric flows and deliveries. They’re similar to Sandman’s last single, “Get Yours.”

However, it’s not like Oakland missed out on great artistry before. Many big names call the city their home such as Kehlani, Raphal Saadiq, Kamaiyah, Fantastic Negrito, and so many others. Still, the city’s always wanted to keep pushing things even further to uplift local artists. So, Oakstop Alliance created the Oakland Resident initiative to give more visibility to the area’s local talent.

Furthermore, Royalty Summit is the campaign’s first release. The organization’s executive director, Damon Johnson, pitched the idea to Homeboy Sandman as the latter planned his There In Spirit West Coast tour run. Moreover, they recorded the album’s 12 tracks over three days with over 20 local artists. Despite Homeboy being from Queens, the artistry on display from Oakland locals like Tone Oliver and Simago makes the city’s sound distinctively electrifying.

So, what did you think of Oakstop Alliance’s new compilation album, Royalty Summit? Also, which Oakland hip-hop artist did you discover that you might give a spin again? Although there’s a lot to pick from, let us know in the comments and check out the tracklist down below. In addition, if you haven’t listened yet, you can find the Homeboy Sandman-led project on your preferred streaming service. The Alchemist Serves Up “Sandwich” Compilation

The Alchemist may well be producer of the year, but if you’ve been following hip-hop for the past few decades, you know that’s not uncommon. He’s just released The Alchemist Sandwich, a compilation of his Lunch Meat and Bread EPs from back in 2018. However, he’s also graced fans with two new tracks. Furthermore, these are “Big Syke” with Boldy James and Meyhem Lauren and “Clip In A Tray” with ScHoolboy Q.

The Alchemist's "Sandwich" compilation has graced fans with two new tracks as well.

Al is known as one of the greatest producers to ever touch a studio, and in the very top tier of producers working today. Still, much of his best work is collaborative, pulling the top tier of MCs together. His last collab project was The Elephant Man’s Bones with Roc Marciano, which dropped back in August. Moreover, this Sandwich compilation features some of the game’s best. Action Bronson, Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine, Earl Sweatshirt, Black Thought, Styles P, and Roc Marciano appear.

Meanwhile, Al’s production on these old tracks sounds as fresh, creative, and inventive as ever. Still, “Big Syke” has his trademarks: lumbering bass, creative sample loops, filtered production, glistening melodies, and a soulful touch. Conversely, Boldy and Meyhem float effortlessly over the instrumental, and it’s a treat to hear Q match with Uncle Al on “Clip In A Tray.” In fact, his aggressive flow fits like a glove on the California producer’s deep beats. Moreover, it’s been great to see Al working with other rappers apart from his standard cohort, like MIKE and Wiki’s One More EP.

Still, what did you think of The Alchemist Sandwich compilation and its new tracks with Boldy James, Meyhem Lauren, and ScHoolboy Q? Were you still bumping those Lunch Meat and Bread EPs? If so, let us know in the comments, and check out the tracklist below as well. Additionally, you can find The Alchemist Sandwich on your preferred streaming service. Also, stay tuned to HNHH for the best new hip-hop releases each week.

Lil Durk Shares “Loyal Bros 2” Tracklist

It’s been a highly productive year for Lil Durk. After a two-year hot streak, he capitalized off of the hype with 7220. Since then, Durk’s kept lowkey but it seems like that will change soon.

At this point, it’s unsure when we could expect another solo album from Durk but he isn’t leaving fans empty-handed before 2022 closes out. Last week, he reactivated his Instagram page and unveiled his new single, “Hanging With The Wolves.”

On Friday, he’ll bless fans with his forthcoming compilation project, Loyal Bros 2 featuring the OTF family. The rapper shared the official tracklist for the effort this week with 23 tracks in total. Loyal Bros 2 highlights artists like Doodie Lo, Booka600, Booniemore, Lil Law, and more. Additionally, there’s a new posthumous offering from King Von slated to appear on the project.

Outside of the camp, expect to see features from Future, Kodak Black, Big30, Trippie Redd, and more.

The project will also include Doodie Lo’s previously released single, “ISTG 2” ft. Kodak Black.

Lil Durk and the OTF clique released the first installment in the Loyal Bros series back in 2021, which included appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Tee Grizzley, and more.

OTF’s evidently offering one last project to close out a highly prolific 2022. Hopefully, this lays down the foundation for a new album from Durkio in the new year.

Earlier this year, Lil Durk was spotted alongside Mariah Carey in the studio, though it’s unclear what they were cooking up. The unreleased collab didn’t end up making the compilation, we’re hoping it sees the light of day in 2023.

Check out the official tracklist for the project below and sound off with your thoughts in the comment section.
