Drake Can’t Catch A Break As The Internet Roasts His Cringey “UwU” Pose

Hating on Drake became pop culture’s favorite pastime in 2024, but folks were clowning on him for a whole bunch of reasons before that. Still, we doubt he really cares that much, as he’s happy to just do his thing and engage with some current trends regardless of how cringey some people see it as. The latest example of this comes courtesy of a new social media video that shows the 6ix God doing the “UwU” pose, which has been a joke in anime and online circles for years now. Usually, folks make fun of this stereotype and declaration. But as the video’s on-screen text says, maybe he should “continue to not take life so seriously.”

After all, Drake’s massive presence in pop culture has resulted in some self-serious statements and content before, and a lot of fans want him to just loosen up and have more fun. But the other sub-sect of fans wants him tough, so he’s going to get hate either way. That’s just how it goes sometimes, especially when you’re as big as Drizzy. Amid his birthday celebrations this week, he has millions of reasons to ignore the haters and just be as funny, playful, cheeky, or terminally online as he wants.

Drake’s Best “UwU” Take

What’s more is that these birthday bashes also saw Drake previewing new music for his loved ones in attendance, the main draw behind his superstardom. In fact, a lot of conversations around how seriously he takes himself revolve solely around his art and how he either tries too hard or tries too little. Of course, that discourse reaches a dead end when you don’t meet either extreme. So we wouldn’t put too much stock into whether or not the Toronto creative has to mess around on the mic or craft deep messaging every single time.

All fans care about at the end of the day is whether or not the music is good, and that quality will excuse any “UwUs” or tough talk that fans might not like. As such, don’t take those viral moments too seriously. Drake even laughs at disses against him, for crying out loud! Jokes aside, a lot of folks online had a field day with this clip, and we can’t necessarily blame them for it. But we also know that he knows exactly what he’s doing with moments like this, as he can make mountains out of molehills like no other.

Metro Boomin Gets Clowned Into Oblivion For Celebrating Private Twitter Likes

Recently, Twitter/X announced that moving forward, all likes on the platform will be kept private. This means that now, the only users who will be able to see if someone likes a post will be its author and the user who liked it. The platform says the change was made in order to “better protect your privacy,” and to boost engagement as users can now freely like the content they want to see more of without fear of other users knowing what they’re up to. The change has prompted mixed reactions so far, with most agreeing that it will make the user experience worse. Others, like Metro Boomin, couldn’t be happier.

The producer shared his take on the update with his followers on the platform earlier today. “Likes finally private,” he wrote alongside a series of fire emojis. Clearly, he can’t wait to take full advantage of his newfound privacy. As a result, however, fans are now hounding him with questions and jokes about what he could be trying to hide.

Metro Boomin Shares His Excitement With Fans

“Tf you plottin?” one Twitter user wonders in his comments section. Another asks, “Why are you happy about it?” Of course, Twitter’s latest change comes only days after the platform announced that pornographic content will be officially permitted under its updated policy.

Now, users are in the clear to post what they want so long as it’s “properly labeled and not prominently displayed.” Plenty of fans also think this could have something to do with Metro Boomin’s enthusiasm. This is unconfirmed, though some have already dubbed him “Freaky Boomin.”

Social Media Users Wonder What Metro Boomin’s Hiding

What do you think of Twitter’s latest update? Do you prefer likes to be hidden, or do you wish they would be made public again? What about Metro Boomin revealing his excitement earlier today? J Cole Clowned For His Lyrics In NSFW New Cash Cobain Song

J Cole has had a bit of a rough 2023 so far. The rapper found himself embroiled in a short beef with Kendrick Lamar back in March. He was the first to respond to Kendrick’s verse on the Future & Metro Boomin song “Like That.” He hit back by dropping a surprise mixtape that contained the song “7 Minute Drill.” The track was an attempt to roast Kendrick, conjuring criticisms of basically his entire discography. The track was pretty roundly rejected by fans and Cole very quickly went back on it. That started with him denouncing the song during a performance at his own Dreamville Festival before eventually removing it from streaming services entirely.

That entire drama was followed by the album failing to grab the top spot on the Billboard 200, being held off by Beyonce’s COWBOY CARTER in its second week. Now Cole is back with a new song alongside Cash Cobain called “Grippy.” The track is an NSFW anthem that features nothing but raunchy details from both rappers. But Cole’s verse in particular is attracting some negative attention online for seemingly nonsensical and goofy bars. Check out some of the worst of the bunch and the fan reactions to them below.

J. Cole Roasted Online For New Song

In the post itself, a fan implies that his brief spat with Kendrick Lamar may have affected J Cole more than fans realized. In the comments fans joke about how long its been since Cole was at his peak acclaim. “Bro took the fall off literal” one of the top replies to the post jokes. “this might go down as the largest fall off in quality ever” another comment more seriously claims. Almost none of the replies to the post offer much of a defense for Cole.

What do you think of fans online bullying J. Cole for the lyrics in his new song with Cash Cobain? Do you think the Kendrick Lamar beef may have permanently messed with Cole’s pen game? Let us know in the comment section below.

DJ Akademiks Clowned Online For Clip Of His Boxing Practice

DJ Akademiks is notorious for his many feuds and spats in the rap game, whether that’s with artists, other commentators, or anyone caught in the crossfire. As such, there have been plenty of challenges for him to face off in a boxing match, and it looks like he wants to keep those skills sharp… or at least try. Moreover, a clip recently emerged of the media personality sparring with a colleague, and the comments section under the video below is not very forgiving. “No wonder he only beefs with females,” one user commented, while another added, “All that mouth and that’s all he got to offer.”

Furthermore, a lot of people remarked that DJ Akademiks should stick to what he’s known for rather than try to pick a fight or go all out. It’s a fair point, and not necessarily a negative one: I’m happy to keep my 127 pounds glued to the keyboard rather than look for problems. But it’s ironic considering his dismissal of J. Cole’s apology to Kendrick Lamar for his diss, which he absolutely blasted as a cop-out and as a betrayal of hip-hop. While that’s another fair point, it also lacks the nuance of understanding that it’s much more brave to admit a lack of malice than to fabricate a lack of mercy.

DJ Akademiks Sharpens His Boxing Skills: See Comments For Reactions

Elsewhere, we’re sure that the former Everyday Struggle host will continue to battle his many opps. Some of them are too big to face, others he’s cautiously avoidant of, and some like Yung Miami are ones that he never intends to fight in the first place. It’s curious to see when DJ Akademiks decides to invoke a physical confrontation and when he goes truly merciless with his words. There are a lot of examples to support these interpretations, so we’ll see if he ever proves himself wrong at some point.

Meanwhile, even painted nails were enough to continue a long-running feud with Lil Baby. Maybe sometimes, any little thing could inspire a lengthy Twitter rant or explosive livestream moment. Let’s see if anything happens if folks start circulating this boxing clip more widely. For more news and the latest updates on DJ Akademiks, log back into HNHH.

Machine Gun Kelly On Fans Clowning His F1 Interview: “I Hate Being In Public”

Machine Gun Kelly is once again getting subjected to a lot of ridicule online, one that he thinks is unfair. Moreover, you might’ve seen on social media that he recently had an awkward interview with Sky Sports reporter Martin Bundle at Formula 1’s Brazil Grand Prix on Sunday (November 5). In it, the rap and pop-punk artist struggled to hear the questions due to the loud noises, and eventually left the interview in frustration. Furthermore, this led to a lot of people clowning him online, and even dragging him as rude or disinterested. Well, that’s exactly what the Houston-born rapper was, as he explained on Twitter.

“my vibe is ‘the worst’ how?” Machine Gun Kelly asked indignantly on the social media platform on Sunday night. “because someone put a microphone in my face essentially forcing me to do a random interview when i was just trying to enjoy an event? because car engines were so loud i couldnt hear him? please tell me more about why im the worst. my anxiety has won. i hate being in public.” All in all, it looks like there are plenty of reasons to blame for this interaction, none of which necessarily relate to either party.

Machine Gun Kelly Responds To Awkward F1 Interview Clowning: Read

However, there’s still something to be said for how MGK reacted to this, as well as how Bundle handled the situation. Still, it’s probably not enough to criticize them and not just laugh at a funny celebrity interview clip, of which there are too many to get mad over. After all, Machine Gun Kelly had other things on his mind around that time, especially following the Halloween season. He and Megan Fox donned multiple matching costumes this year, which re-sparked interest in their rocky relationship.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old recently got back into his hip-hop collaborative bag, teaming up with Lil Durk for an Amazon Music performance. Considering how much he jumps genres, it’s nice to see him blend these worlds together rather than pick one over the other. Let’s hope there’s more where that came from, and that the funny interview clips stay comical and not criticizable. For more news and the latest updates on Machine Gun Kelly, keep checking in with HNHH.

Rich The Kid’s Halloween Costume Clowned For Bizarre Vampire Look: Fans React

Rich The Kid is enjoying the spooky season this week, as many other rappers, celebrities, and everyday people are, as well. However, when it comes to his costume of choice, turns out that he wasn’t so lucky to also enjoy some praise and respect for it. Moreover, fans clowned the College Park MC’s vampire-like fit online that he shared on Wednesday (October 25) via Instagram, whose defining questionable factor are the arcs that protrude from his shoulders. Honestly, if it wasn’t for that, he could’ve been just fine as a Playboi Carti clone in the Rick Owens vamp era. But alas, this extra detail and what many saw as a copycat fit as a whole drew some jokes online.

Furthermore, Rich The Kid’s IG comments filled up with roasts, jabs, questions, and pretty comical reactions. One user posted a GIF of Ryuk from Death Note walking casually, a character who walks around with wings. “Hell Wrong With This N***a Shoulders,” another added, although others seemed to rock with it more than anticipated. “Bro is actually tuff,” a fan expressed, and Quavo as well as his partner Tori Brixx, whom the 31-year-old had cheated on and apologized for, shared their support of it, as well.

Offset Reacts To Kenneth Petty’s Stakeout Video

Seeing drama unfold between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B is really nothing new in the world of hip-hop, but now, the pair’s husbands are trading shots via social media. On Friday (September 15) evening, a video of the Queen of Rap’s partner, Kenneth Petty, standing outside on a stakeout for Offset caused the former to begin trending on Twitter. In the video, the sex offender and his affiliates made it abundantly clear that they were hoping to cross paths with Cardi B’s other half.

“Offset, where you at?” a voice behind the camera in the tweet below asks, filming a group of buildings outside. Upon turning to see their faces, we see Petty markedly mean mugging the phone with two friends, who only become more reckless as they continue recording. “Big Zoo outside ni**a,” the one holding the phone yells, panning his view to reveal that the group of men is drinking beside a pile of trash bags. “Don’t let these ni**as fool you, we run this city,” they continued to berate their haters.

Kenneth Petty Has Eyes Out for Offset

According to Akademiks, while Minaj’s husband and his crew were on the hunt for the “Clout” rapper, he was having the time of his life at Kai Cenat’s place in Atlanta. Fans of Offset were beyond happy to see him letting loose and having a blast during their 24-hour stream in promotion of his upcoming album.

Of course, after what happened to Takeoff in 2022 there’s understandable concern for the lyricist’s safety. Still, he made it clear that he’s not bothered by Petty – or anyone else for that matter – in a response video flaunting his massive wealth.

Asian Doll Blasts People Rapping At Age 30 Or Older

Asian Doll doesn’t always land with great takes online in the eyes of her fans; but then again, who ever does? Most recently, the 1017 signee ruffled some often-ruffled feathers online by revisiting the topic of ageism in hip-hop. “Tryna rap at 30 is cr*zyyyyyyyyyy,” she tweeted, although she later deleted the post, perhaps because of backlash to it. That being said, plenty of people agreed with her in the replies, so it’s clearly a more contentions debate than it looks on the surface. In addition, it’s also in a much different context and implication than just blindly putting every rapper who’s hit 30 in a box.

Furthermore, the obvious examples of rappers older than 30 come to mind: Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Tyler, The Creator, Jay-Z, and so on. However, it seems like Asian Doll is referring instead to people trying to start a career at age 30 or older. Hip-hop’s always been a pretty youthful genre, so it’s understandable why some would think that age leaves people out of the culture. Still, there are plenty of late bloomers in the industry, even though they’re outnumbered by people who make it early and, ironically, fail to age and change with the times.

Asian Doll’s Tweet About “Older” Rappers

This is a topic that many in the game have discussed and debated, and a recent example is Wallo, Gillie, and 03 Greedo on the former two’s podcast. “F***ing right there’s an age limit to rap,” Gillie Da Kid told them on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game. “If you ain’t poppin’ by a certain age, let that s**t go. Motherf***ers be like all the time, ‘Yo Gil, your platform cr*zy, this the perfect time drop something now.’ Shut the f**k up, man. F**k is you talking about? Do I look like a n***a that’s holding onto yesterday, n***a? Or do I look like a n***a that’s elevating? And escalating, n***a. And glowing and growing. What the f**k is wrong with you?

“‘Let me drop another debut album at 46,’” he went on. “Get the f**k out of here. That is not me. That is for n***as that can only rap. F**k all that. I got bigger and better s**t that I’m gon’ climb and try to climb and get to. I’m not no n***a that’s trying to live no throwback Thursday, man. If you ain’t got no traction at all by a certain age and you still doing this s**t… loser.” For more news and the latest updates on Asian Doll, log back into HNHH.

Finesse2tymes Claims To Be 50 Cent, Yo Gotti & Gucci Mane Hybrid, Fans Troll Him

Finesse2tymes is among the many Memphis stars that burst onto the scene in the 2020s so far. However, he’s still not among the most beloved, or at least, that’s what the recent response to one of his Instagram Stories suggests. As a hard-working and focused MC, though, he’s sure to beat these allegations soon, and they certainly won’t slow his hustle down. Still, many fans thought he was overshooting when he named various great rappers and credited them as influencing his hybrid style. Rather than think about whether his music sounds like theirs in concept, they went for his throat on the quality and status end.

“If you put 50 cent, Doe b, Yo Gotti, and Gucci mane all in one pot, U get Finesse2tymes,” the 90 Days artist wrote on social media. In addition, he included a fire emoji and a thinking emoji, and users definitely made their thoughts clear. “More like Bart Simpson and manny fresh mixed in da pot,” one commenter savagely wrote, with another adding “And the lie detector determined that was Cap” with laughing emojis. However, there were still many fans who came to his defense or just disagreed with him with no disrespect, just from a style angle.

Finesse2tymes’ Clowned-Upon Instagram Story

“Hate is a strong Drug first yall was on his D*** now he winning to much now yall hating,” one user posited. Another wrote “I Can See The Other Ones .. He Gone Have To Show Me Some 50 Tho I Dont See It Lol.” “He more lyrical than all them tho,” a fan expressed. While plenty of the most popular responses were negative, isn’t that true of most Internet discussions these days? Regardless, his proclamation at the very least hopefully raises expectations for material on par with these artists in the future.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old is still a controversial figure these days in hip-hop, though it’s more for his antics and legal trouble than anything sinister. With a couple more hits under his belt, he can eschew comparisons and focus on becoming his own artist. He certainly has the skill and potential to do so, so we hope this response doesn’t get to his head. For more news and the latest updates on Finesse2tymes, keep checking in with HNHH.

Lil Meech Clowned By Homies For Showing Love To Summer Walker On FaceTime: Watch

When Summer Walker first began spending more time with Lil Meech a few weeks ago, many were in shock. Not only do the actor and singer have several years between them (her being older by four), but Walker is also a mother of three young children while her man has none of his own to worry about. From the looks of their recent Instagram posts, the pair is happier than ever, even with Celina Powell’s attempt to derail their relationship by sharing unsavoury content of her and Meech on OnlyFans.

The new lovers have yet to make their red carpet debut, but they have been sharing plenty of content on social media. Most recently, a video of the BMF actor being clowned by his friends for showing affection for Walker on FaceTime has been circulating. “You look so handsome,” the Still Over It songstress tells Meech during their video call. “Thank you, babe,” he happily responds before telling Summer that he’s been missing her.

Lil Meech is a Man in Love

The mushy moment is undeniably sweet for fans of the couple, though one of Meech’s homies was obviously unimpressed by listening to the lovey-dovey talk. “You hatin’ bro?!” the 23-year-old asks after taking in the unreasonably negative reaction. “Talkin’ all that ole’ shit bro, shut that shit up,” he goes on to say before meekly adding, “I want to love somebody too.” Elsewhere in the vehicle, another pal admitted that seeing Meech speak so affectionately with Walker was making him miss his own girl.

During the latest episode of Caresha Please, the R&B diva sat down with Yung Miami to discuss her relationship with the Florida native, among other things. At the time, she revealed that they’re happy together, and have even discussed the possibility of children in the future. Do you think Lil Meech’s friends were wrong for poking fun at him and Summer Walker’s relationship? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.
