From his diss tracks to his surprise feature on “Like That” and being named the Super Bowl Halftime performer, he’s essentially taken back the crown as the biggest in the game. Then, there’s a case to be made for Playboi Carti as well. His numerous releases on Instagram had his fans in an absolute chokehold, especially with his album being teased. Furthermore, he’s been on some of the biggest songs of the year such as “CARNIVAL” and “Type S***”.

You also can’t forget about “ALL RED”, which has over 51 million streams in just 10 days. It’s built even more excitement around the now confirmed, I AM MUSIC, which could be coming before year’s end. However, despite all of these incredible achievements, each rapper has done things in their own way, especially in terms of their music. It’s why a lot of people aren’t buying a recent claim from controversial hip-hop media figure, Adam22, that they have something in the works. He says that Playboi is on his way to Compton to shoot a music video with K. Dot. Adam22 says “it’s gonna change the game” and that the former was the one to reach out. He even goes onto claim that Carti dropped the “bisexual vampire style” because Lamar would only do it if he made that change. Still, “The Day The Party Died” and its message about the state of hip-hop has fans not buying this one bit. “That’s like Jesus and Satan linking up”, one IG user jokes. This would break the internet, but we can agree this is a stretch by Adam.

Things between Cleotrapa and Ice Spice are continuing to heat up. Over the last few hours, it’s becoming clearer and clearer that the artists’ friendship is beyond repair. Both have traded some pretty nasty and personal insults, and we can only expect things to unravel further as time passes. According to reports, Cleotrapa was the one to start this by calling out Spice over poor treatment during the Y2K! tour. However, the latter has since dismissed these claims and diagnosing this as Cleotrapa “crashing out”.

Overall, the hitmaker feels that Cleo was essentially acting entitled. Ice Spice also went on to call her former friend a “f***ing vacuum” after supposedly eating a lot of food at an Italian restaurant. Cleo responded to that by bringing back the Ozempic allegations that have been hurdled in Spice’s direction amid her weight loss journey. “Imagine being called big by someone that was just big. Tyrese Accuses His Ex-Wife Of Trying To Squeeze $40K A Month From Him Amid Divorce

Tyrese is still going through a nasty and contentious divorce process with his ex-wife Samantha Lee. Moreover, much of their back-and-forth in court concerns supposedly defamatory statements from one party to the other, as well as discrepancies over payments and asset divisions. But the most recent update concerns the actor and singer’s monthly payments to Lee after their divorce eventually finalizes. Furthermore, he claims that she and her legal team is trying to squeeze even more money out of him. This comes after the Los Angeles native reflected tearfully on this and other struggles during his return to The Breakfast Club.

“I just got another letter from her lawyers,” Tyrese’s comments on his ongoing divorce began via Instagram Live. “Requesting that I send over all of my tax returns and all of my bank statements because she’s trying to get $20,000 and I think they’re trying to take it up to, like, 40. They’ve been looking at all of my movies and all of the concerts and shows that I’ve been doing and they over there like blood-sucking lawyers, rubbing their hands. Though Foolio’s family recently paid tribute to his life and legacy at his funeral, new rumors online seek to disturb this peace. Moreover, an unidentified man is going viral on social media right now for claiming that he was the one who fatally shot the rapper, which are unverified claims since he concealed his face with a ski mask and an orange beanie. Not only that, but the man claims that he acted on the orders of the Florida MC’s rap and real-life rival Yungeen Ace, who supposedly paid him $10K to carry out the attack. This is all highly speculative at press time, so take these remarks with a grain of salt.

“On everything I love, on the dead homies, I put it on everything, on my soul, on my kid, n***a: I’m the one that smacked Julio Foolio that night when he got dropped at his birthday celebration,” the man expressed. “I ain’t gonna show my face or give my identity away or nothing like that, but you know, I did that. Get your tinfoil hats on, folks: we have another possible development in the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef, which once upon a time also included J. Cole. Moreover, these new claims come from guest Mandii B on the Need To Know podcast, who alleged that Drake was actually in attendance at this year’s Dreamville fest. If you recall, this was the moment in which Cole apologized to K.Dot for his response track, “7 Minute Drill,” affirming that beef wasn’t in his spirit and he would remove the track from streaming services out of love for the Compton rapper.

Well, according to Mandii, Drake was actually backstage at the Dreamville Festival in North Carolina, and was presumably slated to appear alongside J. Cole. She even insinuated that they meant to perform “First Person Shooter” together, but that when Drizzy found out that the “No Role Modelz” MC was going to back out, he left 30 minutes before his colleague hit the stage. Of course, it’s important to note that this is an unverified allegation, one that fans and social media users disputed in the comments section of the post below. Still, considering how the public has reevaluated Jermaine’s decision, this is an interesting possibility to think about.

For one, fans could assume, if this story is true, that Drake meant to explicitly team up with J. Cole against Kendrick Lamar through this statement performance. While we’ll probably never know for sure what the dynamic was here, it at least suggests that Cole let Aubrey know of his plan beforehand. Now that the beef between the “Poetic Justice” duo has seemingly settled for now, many are taking a retrospective look at the bread crumbs behind us. Even if this story isn’t true, it’s fair to say that there is a lot of tension between all parties now as a result, even if some is stronger than others.

We already saw what it looks like when other rappers like Lil Yachty appeared in the mix involuntarily, or when folks like Rick Ross doubled down and chased equal engagement. None of it’s been very pretty. As such, we’ll probably see a lot more theories come up as to what really happened between Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. The Game Claims Rick Ross Chickened Out Of Dropping Diss Track

One of the oddest remnants of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef is another rap battle: an unfulfilled one between The Game and Rick Ross. We say “unfulfilled” because Rozay brushed off the Los Angeles rapper’s diss track against him, “Freeway’s Revenge,” through his typical social media trolling. However, according to The Documentary MC, he actually had an underwhelming response track ready, but chose to refrain from dropping it out of fear. Moreover, it’s obviously an unsubstantiated claim over an instigated feud, but he claimed victory in the Instagram post below while remarking on his own lyrical prowess.

“The cereal killer [duck emoji]’n this real smoke,” The Game wrote of Rick Ross over the weekend. “Scared to drop that nursey rhyme you recorded the other night I see lol… F**k it, a quick W for the home team & some real rap for the fans playlist. Moreover, the City Girl dropped her single “OKAY,” which had these notable bars: “She ate crab legs, now her whole tooth missing / Cheap a** veneers, you stay talking s**t / Put a marker to this b***h, she’s so counterfeit.” Many fans thought that she directed these bars at Bardi, and it’s still pretty unclear since neither artist has spoken out publicly on this alleged diss here. However, that is not the case with the Delaware native. She heard some theories that it might be about her and explained to fans on Instagram why she doesn’t think the Florida MC dissed her.

Regardless, it seems like Kanye West knows that he did a little too much to ruffle folks’ feathers this time around, as if blatant antisemitism and right-wing ties weren’t enough for blind die-hards. He deactivated his social media accounts after this announcement, and its unserious nature puts into question whether this is a legit announcement or not. Whether Ye just removed his accounts to not be bothered by the backlash, to drum up more conversation, or to just troll folks with this being his last “move” before closing up shop is a mystery. He touches on a lot of spicy and often contentious topics, especially within the Black community, so it’s no surprise that folks can have pretty strong reactions. However, none of those justifiably end in violence, and a woman at the media personality’s recent appearance in Atlanta almost took things a little too far. She approached him onstage and threw something at him before security at the venue appeared.

“Who’s that queen?” Dr. Umar Johnson asked plainly when the woman approached him, and she seemed to claim that they had slept together the night before. He claimed that he had never seen her in his life, and security promptly escorted her out as he continued his speech and riled the crowd up to quickly move past that interruption. Fortunately, the 49-year-old avoided any serious or harmful situation, and could go back to delivering his unfiltered and steamy takes on pop culture.
