Is Chris Brown Dissing Quavo On “Freak”?

The longstanding feud with Chris Brown and Quavo is somehow still relevant to hip-hop discourse in 2024. Over the years, Chris Breezy’s picked up feuds with several artists, whether R&B stars or rappers, for petty reasons. Frank Ocean, for example, allegedly got into it with Chris Brown over a parking spot and also had a rift with Drake that reportedly resulted in a club brawl. In the latter circumstance, their shared affection for Rihanna led to the kerfuffle, though she isn’t the only woman whom Breezy has been noticeably willing to go to war for.

In the wee hours of Thursday morning (April 11th), Chris Brown unveiled the deluxe edition of his latest project 11:11 containing the single, “Freak.” Though the record serves as a posse cut with verses from Lil Wayne, Tee Grizzley and Joyner Lucas, the singer’s bars have already taken over the timeline, though not necessarily for the right reasons.  On the song, Chris Brown disses Quavo, and the Migos, by extension.

Chris Brown’s “Freak”: What Did He Say About Quavo?

In “Freak,” Chris Brown plays with phonetics between the name of the Migos rapper and a famous tequila brand as a means to get his point across. “Okay, now f**kin’ my old bitches ain’t gon’ make us equal/ Sippin’ that 1942 ’cause I don’t do no Cuervo (Quavo)/ Freak bitch, she like Casamigos, not the Migos,” Breezy raps over the nostalgic sample of Nelly’s hit record, “Air Force 1s.”

Though certainly not a scathing bar that would warrant a response, the issues between the two surround their romance with Karrueche Tran. For context, Quavo and Karrueche were the subject of dating rumors shortly after her split from Chris Brown. And while Tran has gone as far as filing a restraining order against the R&B star, it seems that he still hasn’t entirely gotten over her, nor the fact that Quavo, his then-friend and collaborator, had supposedly “betrayed” him.

Did Quavo Respond?

Quavo has yet to acknowledge Chris Brown’s recent bars. Considering their history, it seems unlikely that Quavo engages with this on wax. Over the years, the two haven’t necessarily made any attempts to bury the hatchet, either. In 2017, they nearly got into a physical altercation at the BET Awards After-Party, nothing really came of it after. Even at the top of the year, when organizers seated Chris Brown and Quavo next to each other, the former explained that he didn’t really have any control over the situation. “Can’t pick who u sit by. F*ck all that growth sh*t. N***a not finna fumble my bag for little n***as,” Brown said on Instagram.

Interestingly enough, that specific seating arrangement sparked an even bigger dialogue about who the bigger star is between Quavo and Chris Brown. Though Breezy remained mum on the matter, Quavo later poked his head out and stated that his star-power is undeniable, writing, “The biggest QUAVO HUNCHO!! Aint goin back and forth.” With the release of Chris Brown’s “Freak,” perhaps we can expect a word from Quavo in the future.

Chris Brown Gifts Fans With A Deluxe Version Of “11:11” Album

Chris Brown has more to say. Five months after releasing 11:11, the R&B singer is back with a deluxe version of the album. This deluxe version features 13 more songs and a plethora of new features. It also includes the track “Freak,” which has been getting lots of buzz online due to its perceived lyrical shots at Migos and rapper Quavo, in particular. It appears Drake and Kendrick Lamar aren’t the only superstars who want to go to war in 2024.

11:11 was a hugely successful release, spawning the hit single “Summer Too Hot” and earning Brown a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance. The deluxe version looks to keep the hot streak going. It boasts a stacked list of guest stars that include Joyner Lucas, Tea Grizzly, and Bryson Tiller. There’s also going to be a Lil Wayne verse on “Freak,” which bodes very well given the track record Breezy and Weezy have together. As was previously noted, though, most of the attention on “Freak” has spawned from Brown’s combative lyrics.

Chris Brown’s “11:11” Deluxe Has 13 New Songs

“Ok, now f***in’ my old b****es ain’t gone make us equal,” Brown raps. “Sippin’ that 1942 ’cause I don’t do no Quavo. Freak b***h, she Casamigos not the Migos.” This isn’t the first time the singer has publicly discussed his issues with Quavo. Brown reportedly argued with all three members of Migos at the 2017 BET Awards, and Offset threatened to “smack the s**t” out of Brown on a 2019 Instagram Story. It all stems from the fact that Quavo briefly dated Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, in 2017. “Freak” is the definite standout on the 11:11 deluxe version, with the rest being the standard R&B/pop fodder one would expect from Brown.

What do you think of the deluxe version of Chris Brown’s latest album, 11:11? Do you think it’s a better batch of songs than the standard version? Do you think Quavo is going to respond to the “Freak” diss? Whatever the case, let us know your thoughts down in the comments section below. Chris Brown Disses Quavo on New Single “Freak”: ‘F—ing My Old B—es Ain’t Gone Make Us Equal’

The 2024 beef continues. This time, Chris Brown is aiming at Quavo.

Chris Brown has released the deluxe edition of his 11:11 project. The album includes the single “Freak,” featuring Lil Wayne, Joyner Lucas, and Tee Grizzley for a set of bars of an “Air Force Onces” sample.

The bars are below:

“F-cking my old b-tches ain’t gone make us equal
Sipping that 1942 cause I don’t do no Quavo
Freak b-tch she like Casamigos not the Migos”

You can hear the line below.

In case you missed it, the two long have had beef. But it was fresh on the minds of the industry after the two were seated next to each other at the Rhude Fashion Show in Paris. Fans wondered if that meant the two were on the same page. Brown clarified they were not: “Can’t pick who u sit by.”

He added, “F–k all that growth sht. N–ia not finna fumble my bag for little ni–as.”

The root of their beef is Quavo, who once dated Brown’s ex Karrueche Tran in 2017.

Lil Dicky Was Humiliated By Chris Brown, John Wall, And Deontay Wilder At A Celebrity Basketball Game, And The Story Is Hilarious

Lil Dicky joined Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce for this week’s episode of New Heights, and the episode was packed with Lil Dicky’s signature self-deprecating charm. Around the 40-minute mark, Jason asked Lil Dicky whether he’d had a “welcome to the industry” moment.

“Another story I’ve never told that just came into my head that’s perfect for this moment,” Lil Dicky said. The Dave mastermind then took the audience back to the 2015 BET Experience Sprite Celebrity Basketball Game. Back then, Lil Dicky still had imposter syndrome and did not feel like he belonged on the same roster as Floyd Mayweather, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, and John Wall.

“I don’t know how I got in the game to the point where I actually put a lot of stock and import in this game,” he explained. “I got there an hour early to warm up because I literally thought a way that I could get ahead in this industry faster will be, like, scoring 30 points in this game.”

Instead, Lil Dicky was on the bench, and while Chris Brown called Lil Dicky “a dope rapper” pre-game, he also rained on Lil Dicky’s parade. John Wall was the team’s coach and eventually told Dicky he could go in as a substitute for Brown.

“I walk up to Chris, and I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m in for you,’” Lil Dicky said. “And he goes, ‘I’m not coming out.’ Then, there’s 11 guys on the court. Everyone is matched up. I’m clearly the odd man. I look to John Wall, like, ‘Coach!’ And John Wall brings me back over. [The] first thing I say is, like, ‘John, get a grip and have some authority on your team.’ It’s humiliating to send me out there and then pull me back in. It’s so emasculating.”

Once Lil Dicky finally got in the game, he was rewarded by getting “fouled so hard by Deontay Wilder — at the time, heavyweight champion of the world.” He concluded, “I get up. I missed two free throws, and then I played one more meaningless minute. I moved to the end of the bench and just chose not to even make myself available for the rest of the game.”

50 Cent & Hunxho To Replace Chris Brown & Muni Long For Dreamville Fest

Music fans will be able to go to the fifth annual Dreamville Fest in Raleigh, North Carolina in just a few days. J. Cole got this event underway near the precipice of COVID-19 in 2019. Since its inception it has been one of the best festivals for hip-hop fans. This year the two-day event will begin this Saturday, April 6, and go through Sunday, April 7. In 2023 it was a stacked lineup, with Drake and Cole headlining the last day. This time around, 50 Cent and SZA will be the main attractions for Dreamville Fest. Nicki Minaj and Cole will wrap things up the following day.

You may be wondering though, why 50 Cent? Well, the roster had some tweaks made just hours ago. The Dreamville Fest X account sent out a tweet announcing the key changes. “We are excited to share that 50 Cent and Hunxho have been added to the lineup! See you this weekend! 🌻 Due to unforeseen circumstances, Chris Brown and Muni Long are no longer performing at Dreamville Fest.”

50 Cent & Hunxho Will Perform On Separate Days

Reasons for the tweaks are still unknown, but some fans are not too happy about Chris Brown not being able to make it. In fact, with the changes being announced on April Fools’ Day, some think its a ruse. “I hope it’s April fool cos I want to see Chris on that stage,” one person says. Another chimes in, “Would’ve preferred if 50 was replacing Nicki instead lol but it is what it is. (this may or may not be April fools but I’m fine either way so 😂🤷🏾‍♀️)” However, with Dreamville Fest just five days away and with complications like this a normality, this appears to be true.

What are your thoughts on 50 Cent and Hunxho joining Dreamville Fest and replacing Chris Brown and Muni Long? Do you think this is an April Fool’s joke, why or why not? If you do not like 50 and Hunxho making the list of performers, who should they have gotten? Are you going to be attending any of the shows? Chris Brown Implores Fans To Recognize His Greatness In New Rant: “Don’t Wait Till I’m Gone To Realize That!”

Chris Brown is not one to hold back how he feels and he has certainly proved that over the past couple of days. About two days ago, the longtime, controversial, R&B superstar sent out a flurry of comments directed toward the mainstream media and “fake celebrities.” This latest fiery Chris Brown rant went down on his Instagram story and many were speculating who he was taking aim at directly. “I DONT WANT TO BE ACCEPTED FROM NONE OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA AND FAKE CELEBRITIES. I AM KING IN MY OWN LANE,” Brown said.

“YOUR FAVE AINT GOT S*** ON ME AND THEY KNOW IT. AINT FINNA TAP DANCE FOR APPROVAL. YOU WILL BEG FORGIVENESS OF ME THAT I DO KNOW.” Some were thinking this has a lot to do with the NBA and the complications with All-Star Weekend. Quavo’s name was also brought up after their awkward encounter at Paris Fashion Week. After going scorched earth, you might think Chris Brown is done with the rants, but he is far from it.

DJ Akademiks recently shared another screenshot from Breezy’s IG. This message is much shorter, but definitely really tries to hammer home his previous point. “There will never be another CHRIS BROWN! Don’t wait till I’m gone to realize that!” Some fans shared his opinion, but others, not so much. “Bro hasnt snapped since look at me now and hasnt went on a run like his kiss kiss wall to wall run ever bro needs to put down the nose sugar,” one fan writes back.

What are your thoughts on Chris Brown continuing his rant saying there will not be another him? Do you agree with his take, why or why or not? What separates him from other artists in his space? Karrueche’s Foot Fetish OnlyFans Sparks Chris Brown Commentary

The beauty of OnlyFans is that it allows people to express themselves freely while making some extra money to pay bills or enjoy life. Many everyday people have profiles on the often-NSFW platform, but it’s also become a safe space for celebrities to sell salacious content, though not all of them are willing to strip down to their birthday suits. It’s no secret that 35-year-old Karrueche Tran is commonly lusted after among fellow entertainers and fans, and now, she’s using that to her advantage with an OF profile dedicated to satisfying a specific fetish.

For $25 a month, you can get up close and personal with dozens of photos of Karrueche’s feet. On Tuesday (March 12), the California native tweeted out a photo of her tiny arches, toes painted white, in a pretty pair of silver heels. She linked her OF account in the post and has already obtained over 1,000 likes on her 20+ photos and various videos flaunting her feet. “👣 and more feet only! With love, Kae,” her page’s description reads, making it clear she doesn’t plan to get too explicit with her content.

Rueche certainly isn’t the first public figure to capitalize off her beauty and body. Iggy Azalea and Cardi B both make a killing on the platform, though the former is infinitely more promiscuous than the latter with her posts. Interestingly, a recent double tap from K’s ex, Chris Brown, has some theorizing that a reconciliation might be in the works for them.

Chris Brown Could Lose Home Amid $1.76 Million Popeyes Debt

Back in late September of last year, Chris Brown was handed down a $2 million dollar lawsuit from Popeyes. The fast-food chicken establishment has become a staple in the business even with its fellow counterparts like KFC, Church’s, and more. It is part of the reason why the R&B superstar invested in two locations. However, he has not held up his end of the deal as according to the documents from City National Bank. Brown owed $22,140,901.74 in unpaid principal and interest. The lawsuit was filed in California. The singer still has not fulfilled that request about six months later, meaning the consequences are now more serious.

This latest update comes from The Neighborhood Talk and Hollywood Unlocked. They both report that he has exactly 30 days to pay back the outstanding debt. However, instead of just forking over money, Brown could be in danger of losing some of his prized possessions. Those include his home, wages, and money.

All three assets would help pay back the balance. On top of that, the court could do so without notifying Brown. “This court may order that a writ of execution or other enforcement may issue. Your wages, money, and property could be taken without further warning from the court,” the filing reads. In Hollywood Unlocked‘s piece, they reported that the new amount is $1,760,654.11. That information came through from BNN.

What are your thoughts on Chris Brown’s massive amount of debt he owes to Popeyes? How do you think this will play out? Why do you think he got behind by so much?
