Chris Brown Implores Fans To Recognize His Greatness In New Rant: “Don’t Wait Till I’m Gone To Realize That!”

Chris Brown is not one to hold back how he feels and he has certainly proved that over the past couple of days. About two days ago, the longtime, controversial, R&B superstar sent out a flurry of comments directed toward the mainstream media and “fake celebrities.” This latest fiery Chris Brown rant went down on his Instagram story and many were speculating who he was taking aim at directly. “I DONT WANT TO BE ACCEPTED FROM NONE OF THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA AND FAKE CELEBRITIES. I AM KING IN MY OWN LANE,” Brown said.

“YOUR FAVE AINT GOT S*** ON ME AND THEY KNOW IT. AINT FINNA TAP DANCE FOR APPROVAL. YOU WILL BEG FORGIVENESS OF ME THAT I DO KNOW.” Some were thinking this has a lot to do with the NBA and the complications with All-Star Weekend. Quavo’s name was also brought up after their awkward encounter at Paris Fashion Week. After going scorched earth, you might think Chris Brown is done with the rants, but he is far from it.

DJ Akademiks recently shared another screenshot from Breezy’s IG. This message is much shorter, but definitely really tries to hammer home his previous point. “There will never be another CHRIS BROWN! Don’t wait till I’m gone to realize that!” Some fans shared his opinion, but others, not so much. “Bro hasnt snapped since look at me now and hasnt went on a run like his kiss kiss wall to wall run ever bro needs to put down the nose sugar,” one fan writes back.

What are your thoughts on Chris Brown continuing his rant saying there will not be another him? Do you agree with his take, why or why or not? What separates him from other artists in his space? Are you still excited for the release of the deluxe for 11:11? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Busta Rhymes Struggles To Decide Between Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole For Greatest Ever List

Busta Rhymes was torn between Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole while rounding out his picks for the greatest rappers of all time. During an appearance on Amazon Music’s +44 Podcast, Busta explained that Cole releasing more music than Kendrick keeps him in the race. Other names he listed include himself, Rakim, Nas, and Eminem.

“Greatest rapper ever? I don’t think I have one,” Busta said. “I could say five. Rakim. Some might disagree with me but Nas. I would say Eminem. I’m starting to feel like there some new guys that are starting to go into that list to me. I’m almost there with J. Cole but I’m still torn between him and Kendrick. I’m talking about only bars! If Kendrick was to get active in the same way that Cole is being active, it would be a way different conversation but again, I’m torn between Cole and Kendrick, but it would be one of them two.”

From there, Busta continued: “I still didn’t put none of them two in the fourth place. I was just saying that it was gonna be a new guy cause they are really starting to really earn their right to passage and to be in the top 5 greatest of all time to me. I would definitely say Jay-Z. I’m Biggie-biased. I’m Biggie biased because I think what he has done between two albums everybody obviously had an opportunity to work way longer than him and they still can’t top what he has done in two albums. I think that’s my list.” Check out his full comments on the topic below.

Missy Elliott Reveals Hilarious Tidbit About “The Rain” Music Video

Missy Elliott’s music video for her 1997 hit “The Rain” was recently crowned the best rap MV of all time by Rolling Stoneand for good reason. Still, there’s a lot about the legendary visual to uncover, especially when it comes to the even more legendary MC’s experiences concerning it. Moreover, Misdemeanor recently took to Twitter (now X) on Thursday (August 10) to share her excitement about the recognition. In addition, she also shared some interesting tidbits about the music video that put its greatness in more comical, but equally awe-inspiring context. After all, sometimes the behind-the-scenes look can be more illuminating than any released video.

“Fun fact I had to go to a gas station in Brooklyn NY to get air in this blow up suit,” Missy Elliott revealed. “The suit blew up so big I couldn’t fit in the car so I had to walk back to set down the street in this outfit in BROOKLYN. Dem ppl was riding pass like she must be high,” she concluded with some laughing emojis. “High as a kite,” Missy Elliott jokingly shared. “I wonder if anybody from Brooklyn saw me that day walking down the street in that hot a** suit. if you look at the music video it had deflated by the time I got back to set so some scenes the suit flat after all that walking.” Of course, this is part of a lot of recent celebration of her illustrious career, a lot of which came from her biggest fan, Lil Wayne. Recently, Weezy revealed that the reason he liked Drake so much is because he sang like her.

“Before there was Drake and people who were rapping and singing, Missy was doing that,” he stated to The New York Times. “That captivated me, and I was moved by that. It made me want to do it. That’s why I loved Drake when I met Drake.” Beyond a doubt, the 52-year-old birthed a lot of approaches to hip-hop that influenced some of its biggest players today. Royce Da 5’9″ Labels Tyler, The Creator “One Of The Greatest”

Royce Da 5’9″ remarked that Tyler, The Creator is “one of the greatest” during a recent post on Instagram. The two met up at DJ Drama‘s private listening event for his forthcoming album I’m Really Like That. Drama held the event in Los Angeles on Saturday, prior to the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

“Me telling @feliciathegoat He’s officially one of the Greatest, in my humble opinion,” Royce captioned a photo of himself with the Odd Future founder. Tyler commented on the post: “thanks for the kind words man.”

While Royce and Tyler have yet to work together, the two previously crossed paths after the release of Eminem’s compilation album Shady XV in 2014. At the time, Tyler labeled the project “fucking ASS.” Royce provided a defense of Tyler being entitled to his own opinion, despite the insult to his Bad Meets Evil partner.

“I don’t really have much of a take on it,” Royce Da 5’9″ told Vlad TV at the time, before continuing, “What can you say? He said his opinion. It’s the kid’s opinion and what am I gonna do? Get mad at him? We’re living in that era now, man. That’s like I go over to a girl house that I’m trying to smash and her little kid [or] little baby brother is in there and he’s like, ‘You smell like marijuana!’ And everybody laugh because it’s the little kid and he’s saying something crazy. And everybody cares because it’s the little kid with the voice. That’s kind of how it is, man. I don’t care, man. What am I gon’ do about that?”

He later recalled meeting Tyler, explaining that he wasn’t offended by what he had to say. “The last time I seen Tyler The Creator, those guys were running around the dressing room with fucking capes and shit on… It just felt like we were in the room with some fun kids,” Royce further said. “And that’s really how I look at them. I’m not about to start getting offended by everything he said or anything like that. If the kid got his opinion, he got his opinion. It’s just what it is.” Check out Royce Da 5’9″’s post for Tyler, The Creator below.
