Ye Trolls Sheck Wes After “Mo Bamba” Rapper Claims He Robbed His Musical Style

Nearly six years ago, Sheck Wes had parties going wild with his mega hit “Mo Bamba.” It appeared on his debut album MUDBOY and it has been a defining song in the Cactus Jack/G.O.O.D. Music signee’s discography. However, the Harlem, New York native has had a hard time replicating that same intensity and hype around his music since then. His inaugural LP is still the only one he has to his name and the last single he dropped was in 2022 with “PAIN!” Regardless of the time in between the release of “Mo Bamba” and now, Sheck Wes is not going to let anyone discredit it, not even Ye.

According to HipHopDX, Sheck felt some type of way about one of his bosses’ comments that went viral yesterday. Those statements were Ye’s reactions as to who he feels is the best rapper ever. In typical fashion, he championed himself the G.O.A.T. saying that he washed Drake “AT THE FREE HOOVER CONCERT” and “WASHED KENDRICK ON NO MORE PARTIES IN LA.” This was seemingly a response to the recent diss from K-Dot sent Drake’s way on “Like That.”

Sheck Wes responded to Ye’s self-confident rant by calling him a thief of the “Mo Bamba” sound to nab a number one hit with “CARNIVAL.” “You stole my whole cadence, flow, beat, tempo to get #1 u delusional and u ain’t check in w the buzzins!! U n****s really bugged out!” Wes seemingly deleted the comment, but his G.O.O.D. boss caught it just in the nick of time. Ye decided to troll him by reposting the clap back on his IG story, as well as “Mo Bamba.”

DJ Akademiks Encourages Followers To Write Hateful Messages About Meek Mill To PA Governor

DJ Akademiks and Meek Mill have been constantly going at each other’s throats. Of course, the hate for one another was rekindled after the slew of Diddy lawsuits. Namely, the one where the Philadelphia rapper was a potential sexual partner with Diddy. Everyone has been roasting him for it, and AK has been a big proprietor of it all. Recently, the two have been verbally sparring on X as the MC sent some life-threatening messages at the media pundit.

Meek tweeted out, “Next time ima go live! But if something happen to me we hunting you til death!” This was a response to an Akademiks message where he called out his Philly roots. This recent exchange has led to a movement that AK is looking to get a massive following for. The troller asked his followers to write letters to the Pennsylvania governor to call out Meek Mill for being two-faced.

He attached a Rumble link where he streams, with a request to convince the governor of the Midwestern state of how “disgusting” Meek is. “Tonight my livestream will be all writing letters to the governor of Pennsylvania asking why he’s next to a disgusting lowlife thug like @meekmill while he threaten to kill civilians but proclaim he’s bout prison reform and ending violence.” This effort of vindication went down last night and as of now there is no word on how successful it went. The most recent chapter in their never-ending feud stems from the Detroit legend’s appearance on the Lyrical Lemonade and Cole Bennett debut album All is Yellow. One of the most talked about moments on the record was Eminem’s “Doomsday Pt. 2.” In it he directly goes after Benzino, making fun of his neck, the time he was in bed with men at a hotel, and the Coi Leray comments about asking for a feature.

Being honest, it was a pretty funny diss toward his rival. Now, the hatred is being revived yet again, as Benzino recently gave his reaction to Eminem’s “Doomsday” music video. According to AllHipHop, Hill went on The Pivot podcast recently to discuss various topics. One thing that arose from the hour-long conversation was his home that was damaged in an accidental fire. Even worse, it happened while he was at practice. Furthermore, according to the Miami Herald, the fire caused $2.3 million worth of damages, but luckily, no one was hurt. Ross does not live far from Hill’s home and he wound up taking a video of the firefighter taming the flames on social media instead of contacting him. That really irritated Hill, to say the least.

However, it all seems a little too fishy, especially with the comedian’s show, Coulda Been House, just moments away from hitting YouTube. In fact, it premieres tonight on the platform at 9 p.m. ET and it should be a hoot. The premise of the reality parody is that one winner will ink a deal with the “record label” Coulda Been and a grand prize of $50,000. It appears their might be some early drama, maybe as soon as the first episode.

According to MSN, Druski went on The Breakfast Club to talk about the show, as well as his beefs with Birdman and King Harris. The differences between Druski and the latter were based on the fact that he used the “standing on business” phrase as the title for his single. “Standin On Bihness” with the help of DJ Drama, Snoop Dogg, and BNYX, dropped last weekend to promote the comedy series. King Harris did recognize that he was not the lone creator, but he did feel he popularized it.

Things got “heated” when Druski called Harris a “p***y” after he pulled up on the set of Coulda Been House. They essentially had a “stare down” and nothing really ever happened. The 39-year-old multi-talent just dropped his 11th project INSANO on January 12. It looks to be another top 10-worthy release on the Billboard Hot 200 with nearly 50,000 copies sold. While the LP was the main reason for Lowe to chat with Cudi. However, there was another interesting nugget that the two spoke about. The hitmaker revealed how he and Lupe Fiasco’s dislike for one another started.

HipHopDX highlighted that it all began in 2008. Before Cudi got his music career going, he was an employee at the BAPE store in New York. Lupe Fiasco happened to be shopping there one day and his co-workers were juiced to see him. The opposite could be said about Cudi. “[I] Stayed down the stairs, waited until he left. [My colleagues] were like, ‘What you down here for?’” He explained, “‘Yo bro, if I get famous one day, I don’t ever want this n**** saying like, ‘He sold me clothes. The eccentric MC of multicultural descent popped off in the late 2010s with his hit song “GUMMO.” From there he proved himself to be a consistent hitmaker. He put the doubters to bed with tracks like “FEFE” with Nicki Minaj and also working with Kanye West, Young Thug, Tory Lanez, and more. However, after 2020, 6ix9ine had a steep decline in productivity due to his legal battles. You can also attribute it to the fact that he was more of a meme than anything else.

It seems that deep down, people only gravitated toward him for his antics and viral clips online. Because of that, the music was perhaps always secondary and the streams were a byproduct of his ridiculous nature. He is low-hanging fruit for a lot of people and it seems that one person is taking advantage of 6ix9ine’s downward spiral. Alofoke is a very popular Spanish radio host of Alofoke FM 99.3. One of which they have a good amount of content on is 6ix and his troubling relationship with fellow artist Yailin la Mas Viral. There is little information on this seemingly ongoing beef between Alofoke and the rainbow-hair rapper outside of some commentary from other Spanish-speaking YouTube channels. While fans are still debating who “won” in this situation between the two, apparently stemming from their previous romantic links to Burna Boy, they are also giving plenty of ammo for both bases to use. Moreover, Jada recently hopped on Instagram Live to troll a little bit by playing one of Stefflon’s diss tracks against her, “Dead Gyal Talking,” which is the “sequel” to “Dead Gyal Walking.” Overall, it seemed like she was just having some fun playing the track, perhaps as a way to suggest a victory lap.

Furthermore, most of this feud manifested in the form of diss tracks from one artist to another. Not only that, but they grew deeply personal, and fans wonder whether it’s even possible for this to clear up or die down in the coming months. For example, Jada Kingdom previously dropped “Steff Lazarus,” in which she accused Stefflon Don of sacrificing her family for the fame. The Birmingham MC denied any and all claims, whereas the Jamaican singer stood by her allegations.

However, these aren’t the only two players that entered the court in this feud, although they are the main pieces. Asian Doll recently stepped in to defend Stefflon Don and make some scandalous and combative remarks of her own. For one, she blasted Jada Kingdom on Twitter, who fired back with some presumptions about her, and kept the fire up with one response after another. We’ll see if more celebrities start picking sides in this spat, although it seems far too personal and un-impactful to do so.

Meanwhile, we know at least one artist wants this beef to end, and that’s none other than Sean Paul.
