Usher Gets Outshined By His Own Fan After Letting Her Perform During His Tour Stop

Usher’s recent live shows, residencies, and tour stops have all been nothing short of extravagantly impressive, and with plenty of viral moments to promote them, too. He definitely adopted a “Mr. Steal Your Girl” moniker from many of these, but it’s all been in great fun and with a lot of showmanship and charisma to show folks a good time without taking things too far. The singer is very confident in his ability to control these energies. If you need proof of that, look no further than this latest clip. While going through a group of fans in the crowd, a woman goes up to him and says, “Give me that mic!”

Then, Usher looks back at her with a puzzled look as she grabs the microphone, but as soon as she starts singing, he just looks impressed, leaves the mic in her hands, and sits with some other fans in the stand as the woman performed. Germaine, known on IG as @thegclassbygermaine, belted out “There Goes My Baby” during this “Past Present Future” tour stop. Fans cheered for her around the arena, and it was overall one of many other heartening (but also kind of confusing) moments to witness during these concerts.

Furthermore, the confusion comes form whether or not Usher and his team scripted or anticipated this, but in any case, everyone handled it very well. After all, this is the kind of situation that gets other concert-goers tackled if he hadn’t been so graceful with his reaction. Nevertheless, the “SOS” multi-hyphenate has many more shows to go through, and we’re sure that there will be plenty of other viral fan interactions to witness. Let’s just hope that not too many people try to follow Germaine’s lead, since that could be pretty hectic to handle.

Jokes aside, Usher is actually quite the madman for embarking on this “Past Present Future” tour. Not even a serious neck injury could change his plans, and his time onstage has been absolutely overwhelming in 2024. How can someone keep it together so consistently? The latest episode of the Aunt-Tea Podcast with Tokyo Toni, Tia Kemp, and Karlissa Saffold kept the antics up as fans expected. Moreover, their latest guest was Celina Powell, and at one point during their conversation, she spoke about deleting OnlyFans when she gets pregnant. “You’re not going to get pregnant,” Toni roasted her with. “No. Don’t bring no baby to this world, f***ed up like you are. Get some help! You’re f***ed up. I think you’re trashy, filthy, nasty, and dirty.” However, all the ladies had a good laugh over it, so maybe this didn’t come off to them as combative as it might to some social media users.

However, the reason why Tokyo Toni made these comments about Celina Powell is because of her controversial dating history. The most recent example of this concerns Powell’s alleged current boyfriend Clay Gravesande of Love Is Blind, who claimed that they’re not dating and that she “used” him. “Celina actually is a cool a** person,” he told Rory and Mal. “I went to Belize with another female actually, and then I came back and I was going to actually shoot some content with Celina. It was really kind of innocent, bro. I was being used. She got me, she won.”

Gloss Up is still apparently dealing with the fallout of her Hunxho scandal. To sum it up quickly, it’s basically a contentious and complex love triangle between them and Keyshia Cole, who is Hunxho’s current partner. Apparently, Gloss was still in the middle of them at a point, and she even got into a big fight with her boyfriend for him allegedly thinking that the two rappers are still linking up. She took issue with how disrespectfully he treated her and her children, whereas he took issue with how she was airing all of this out on social media. As you can imagine, it’s a pretty wild and unclear situation overall.

Furthermore, when Hunxho and Keyshia Cole first started dating, the big narrative around them was their age gap. Then, when Gloss Up shared some flirty BTS pics with him at a music video shoot, things got way more spicy through some social media shade. Eventually, the North Carolina MC confirmed his relationship with the singer and made it clear that he wasn’t going to take that narrative any longer. Clearly, there’s still some consequences to contend with, but it’s all too vague and speculative to make a judgement call.

Of course, that aged in an interesting way since they’re both currently in jail. Nevertheless, her latest target is JT, who faced a scathing rant from Banks on Twitter this week after she came across the Florida native’s remarks on Foxy Brown and her presence in fashion.

It makes so much sense. This last interpretation is what many fans realized during his historic battle with Drake, and even his cousin Baby Keem agrees. Moreover, the pgLang affiliate retweeted a very popular Twitter meme about K.Dot: “Kendrick the type of n***a to disappear after the bus passes.” It’s funny to think about Kendrick witnessing all the memes around his Drizzy beef, but it’s even funnier to imagine Keem’s online trolling and participation.

Furthermore, this is the first “interaction” concerning Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar that we’ve publicly witnessed since… their joint Vegas performance that went down this February, maybe? Still, that doesn’t mean that the Melodic Blue creative’s name didn’t pop up during the great rap war of 2024. For example, a Kendrick reference track for Keem’s “BULLIES” resurfaced during this period, sparking more debate around ghostwriters and protégés that Drake fans were already engaging in extensively at the time.

What’s more is that both Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar have big plans for the future… Or at least, that’s what most of us fans want to believe. First up is the former, who’s been teasing his follow-up to his 2021 LP for a while now. It seems like we’re closer than ever to its release, but without any official teases, singles, announcements, or promotions yet, it’s hard to tell exactly when or how it will manifest. Still, The Melodic Blue was so good that it earned a significant benefit of the doubt on our behalf, albeit one whose expiration date is dangerously close. I mean, it’s been three years… Will we have to get to five before we start rioting?

As for Kendrick Lamar, he supposedly has something big planned after his Drake beef, but that’s just hearsay from his camp. He’s literally done nothing more than just drop his OVO disses, announce his Juneteenth concert, and release the “Not Like Us” music video. As such, Baby Keem is probably right in assuming that the Compton lyricist would embody that one Spider-Man 3 meme to a tee. Let’s just hope that he also has that ability in the inverse, and that he will pop out again in the near future.

Camron Recalls Bailing Out His Friends For A Staggering Load Of Cash

Cam’ron is a vivid and gifted storyteller, whether it’s in his music or when talking about what part of the United States produces the best lyricists. However, he can also look back at old tales and rejuvenate him with his revealing commentary, as he recently did for his Instagram followers on Wednesday (August 28). Moreover, the Dipset member explained what happened at a traffic stop in New England on a cold night in 2003 while the group toured their debut album, Diplomatic Immunity. Authorities arrested Orlando Young and Piri Pantoja for possessing a firearm without a license and three counts of assault with intent to murder.

“One night, we was just driving down I-91, I believe,” Cam’ron began his story. “The cops pulled the tour bus over like [it was] the end of Set It Off when Cleo was about to run through the barricade with all the cops. They had like 92 cop cars out there! They pull us off the tour bus talking about, ‘Yo, somebody’s car windows got shot out.’ [I said,] ‘I don’t know how that happened, officer’ […] Now, it’s three degrees outside. I’m freezing. I’m looking at n***as like, ‘Y’all know what’s going on? ‘Cause I don’t.’” He said that Juelz Santana probably hid under the bus’ muffler (“That boy know how to hide“) and that the cops told him, Jim Jones, and J.R. Writer to “get their face[s] out their shirts” in spite of the freezing weather.

“Now the car pulls up that got the windows shot out, talking about, ‘Yeah, it was one of them,’” Cam’ron went on. “We like, ‘Nobody got time for this nonsense.’ I’m standing there like it was not one of us. Furthermore, police claimed that the suspects shot from Cam’ron and Dipset’s tour bus at a car with three females in it. They also hit Monique E. Garnett, the driver, with unlawful firearm and drug possession, plus passenger Keith Blacknell with similar charges. While the Diplomats members did not receive any charges, they reportedly witnessed the gunfire. It’s the kind of thing that probably caused 50 Cent to regret his beef with Cam and others.

For those unaware, she posted a picture of her in the studio on Wednesday (August 28) that referred to it as the “Atlantic Records correctional facilities.” While a lot of people didn’t like how the Bronx femcee was seemingly unenthused about working on her long-awaited sophomore album, others took more direct issue with comparing this kind of career with a prison. Regardless of what side of these criticism she took the most issue with, she blasted the critics all the same in a new tweet on Thursday (August 29).

In addition, Vybz Kartel spoke on the history of their relationship and how they already committed to each other when he was still in jail. “Yeah, she’s my fiancée,” he answered when Peter Rosenberg asked about marriage plans. “I proposed to her while I was in prison.
