Perkio Will Fight 6ix9ine If Lil Durk Pays For It

If Lil Durk has a million fans, then Perkio is one of them. If Lil Durk has one fan, then Perkio is that one fan. If Lil Durk has no fans, that means Perkio is dead. The Lil Durk’s doppelganger has often taken his love of the rapper to the extreme. Previously, Perkio has said that if Lil Durk is single, he’s single too. It’s clear that Perkio is ready to stand in solidarity with Lil Durk, no matter the cost or occasion.

However, not everyone is a fan of Perkio. One of Perkio’s biggest detractors is 6ix9ine, who has been beefing with look-a-like since April 2022. This beef has consequently bled over into 6ix9ine’s beef with the actual Lil Durk. However, Perkio has seemingly moved away from being “Fake Lil Durk” in recent weeks, debuting a brand-new look in late April.

Perkio Steps Up After Fight Offer Goes Unmet

Perkio might have a new look, but he’s still got Lil Durk’s back. Recently, Lil Durk offered to fight 6ix9ine for a $50 million purse fronted entirely by Durk. However, 6ix9ine declined, stating that he was not interested in a public spectacle or Durk’s money. “Come to Miami let’s get a hotel room and just throw down 1 on 1,” 6ix9ine counter-offered. Despite the rise in novelty boxing matches between celebrities, neither Durk or 6ix9ine is yet to participate.

However, Perkio is here to pick up Durk’s discarded gloves. Taking to Instagram, Perkio voiced his willingness to fight in Durk’s place. “Love Durk so much I’ll beat 69 free if twin put up the cash,” Perkio wrote over a picture of him flashing his chains and giving the camera the finger. Perkio’s offer fills the conditions of 6ix9ine – a free fight away from the public eye. Despite Perkio’s gallantry, it remains to be seen if 6ix9ine has any interest in fighting the look-a-like when his beef is with the real deal Lil Durk. 6ix9ine has yet to respond to the fight offer. However, if he does, you’ll find all the details here on HotNewHipHop.

6ix9ine Associate That Shot Up Barclay’s Center Fumbles Early Release

6ix

An associate of 6ix9ine who shot up the Barclay’s Center during a fight with Casanova just failed to get his sentence reduced.

Fu Banga, born Fuguan Lovick, attempted to get an early release for a shooting incident at the Barclays Center, but a judge refused.
As the story goes, Fu Banga and six other gang members, including 6ix9ine, attended a boxing match at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on April 21, 2018. 6ix9ine was scheduled to perform the entrance song that night. While in the Barclay’s hallway, the group encountered rival rapper Casanova and his crew, who was part of a different Bloods set. Fu Banga pulled a gun from his shoe and fired it over the heads of the rival gang, causing pandemonium.

Following his arrest on May 6, 2018, Fu Banga pleaded guilty to violent crime in aid of racketeering and firearm possession in furtherance of violent crime.

On February 12, 2020, he received a sentence of 84 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Fu Banga contended that his conviction for committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering did not qualify as a crime of violence because he fired the gun above the heads of the rival gang without causing any injury or death.

However, the judge disagreed, ruling that his liability was based on whether he “intentionally placed or attempted to place another person in reasonable fear of physical injury … by displaying a deadly weapon.”

During his plea hearing, he admitted to these actions and conceded that his conduct constituted an assault, so Judge Paul Engelmayer rejected the request to shave some time off of Fu Banga’s seven-year sentence.

Fu Banga is the second 6ix9ine assosiate trying to reduce his sentence. Anthony “Harv” Ellison, another Nine Trey member, filed a motion last month claiming that 6ix9ine was responsible for his own kidnapping.

Ellison believes that 6ix9ine’s criminal activities played a significant role in provoking the kidnapping and should be considered an extraordinary and compelling reason for a sentence modification.

A judge has yet to rule on Ellison’s request.

Pras Doesn’t Want To Be Compared To 6ix9ine

The Pras conspiracy case is surely one of the wildest hip-hop stories of the year so far. Moreover, following his guilty verdict, he continued to deny the assumption that he was an FBI informant. In fact, he recently said such statements in person to TMZ, who caught up with him on the street and asked him about the situation. For those unaware, the Fugees rapper allegedly embezzled millions in cahoots with a Malaysian businessman and participated in a host of fraudulent and witness tampering schemes. However, he maintained his innocence and that he acted in good faith and in the United States’ best interests.

“I can’t really talk about the verdict, I got a lot more work to get done,” Pras remarked in Los Angeles. “Look, I was never in the past, present, or future an FBI or a CIA informant. Never ever. If people want to check it out, look at the testimonies. They could see that all within the records, and all the DC courts.” During his remarks, he even dismissed comparisons to one of rap’s most notorious snitches in recent memory.

Pras & 6ix9ine Are Not Alike

“This is not a Tekashi 6ix9ine situation, respectfully,” he continued. “Because he admitted he was an informant, basically. So I was never. I never said I was. I am not now and never will be an FBI or a CIA informant.” Furthermore, Pras’ publicist also denied these claims. “Pras was never an FBI informant. It’s not accurate and, quite frankly, it’s dangerous,” Erica Dumas told AllHipHop. “If he was an informant, he would not be on trial. The government does not prosecute and threaten its informants with more than two decades of jail time.” Regardless, many still clowned him online, whether it was figures in the genre or regular people.

Still, there’s one legendary MC who stood up for the “Zealots” rhymer: Chuck D. “Pras was a valedictorian in HighSchool or in the final runnings,” he tweeted. “They NEVER mention THAT. Instead USA propAgenda machine ALWAYS promotes this backwoods Jed ass Clampett tale of Hood gangstaS, which NEVER been a threat ANYWHERE other than Blackfolk. Wrong is wrong but this SMELLS.” Let us know what you think of this in the comments and return to HNHH for the latest on Pras.

Lil Reese Explains The Difference Between Him & 6ix9ine Getting Jumped

During a recent interview, Lil Reese broke down what makes his incident of getting jumped way different than 6ix9ine’s. While the rainbow-haired provocateur is dropping a lot of new music as of late, the shadow of that attack still looms over his current pop culture presence. Moreover, it’s a news story that people keep talking about and commenting on, whether within or outside of the industry. As such, the Chicago MC explained that there’s a difference between each case, which is made more ironic by the fact that the New York rapper made fun of Reese for getting jumped back in the day.

“S**t, I was like ‘Damn,’ ’cause he was making fun of me when I got jumped,” Lil Reese remarked of 6ix9ine’s beatdown. “But I ain’t get jumped like how he got jumped. I got jumped on some… N***as was scared to fight me one-on-one. Grabbin’ me, trying to stop me from going to the car to go get my move. He got whooped. Like, his a** got beat bad, so he got jumped jumped. I ain’t get jumped. N***as was stopping me, holding on me, grabbing on me from going to go grab something for their a**.”

Lil Reese Speaks On 6ix9ine Attack

Of course, the beef between these two persists, even though Lil Reese held back on more disrespectful views on 6ix9ine’s assault. “I love going to, you know, restaurants and not have to say, ‘Oh, I’ll wait for the security team,’” the “WAPAE” artist stated. “I’ll just go do it. For me, it was tough to watch because it was so unexpected… It’s cowardly. I think it was cowardly, I think it was opportunistic. But again, I’m not mad because I know that, in the streets, there’s no rules. I’m lost for words because you can’t blame them. They saw an opportunity and they took it.

“I think life just keeps going,” he added. “I can capitalize off of anything. I’m that talented, I don’t need to get beat up to sell a record.” However you may feel about the different situations, it’s clear that both artists won’t let it define them. 6ix9ine Lashes Out At Billboard Amid Merch Album Sales Reinstatement: “Anything Just To Not See Me Win”

Some ops at the gym certainly got the better of him earlier this year, but 6ix9ine managed to make a triumphant comeback thanks to singles like “WAPAE” and “Y Ahora” last month. Seeing as his embattled reputation obviously precedes him in the U.S., the lyricist has been tapping into the Spanish music market, where he’s found major success working with various collaborators. While he’s been celebrating the major victories coming along with that on social media, 6ix9ine also didn’t hesitate to use his platform to call out Billboard over a recent rule change that isn’t sitting right with him.

“Billboard to count limited fan packs/merch bundles with physical albums towards Billboard 200 chart starting June 30th,” a tweet from @chartdata reported earlier this week. Upon hearing the news, 6ix9ine took a screenshot of the post to share with a message of his own on his IG Story. “LITERALLY A JOKE,” the 26-year-old’s rant began on Thursday (May 4). “I’m the reason you guys got rid of this rule,” he further asserted. “You guys did everything and ANYTHING just to not see me win. BRINGIN’ IT BACK BECAUSE Y’ALL ARTISTS CAN SELL WITHOUT IT.”

6ix9ine Blasts Billboard

DJ Akademiks shared the “GOOBA” artist’s thoughts on his own page, leading 6ix9ine to drop by the comments there and get more off of his chest. “The rule got changed in June/July of 2020. I sold over $3M of [bundled] merch for ‘GOOBA,’” he explained. “The Nicki and Travis thing was in 2018 for ‘Queen’ because I promoted it,” the east coast star added, referring to Nicki Minaj’s anger over Travis Scott beating her out for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, which she claimed only happened due to the merch bundles sold with his project.

“The industry changed rules and laws just to blackball an artist, that’s how I know I’m really him,” the controversial star concluded. “Get mad all you want, but this is facts.” Do you think 6ix9ine’s anger towards Billboard is valid, or is he letting a victim complex get the better of him? Alleged 6ix9ine Gym Assailant Pleads Not Guilty

One of the individuals accused of attacking 6ix9ine has pled not guilty. The man was allegedly involved in the violent altercation at an LA Fitness earlier this year. Court documents obtained by Radar Online reveal that Rafael Antonio Medina Jr., who is 43 years old, entered a “not guilty” plea to a felony charge of robbery without a weapon and a misdemeanor charge of battery. Rafael was arrested alongside two other suspects, including his son, Octavious Medina, and Anthony Maldonado. The charges against Maldonado were dropped last month. Rafael was released on bond but was placed under house arrest and prohibited from contacting 6ix9ine.

Later, Medina later a motion with the court seeking to be released from house arrest. He cited the need to work and provide for his family. His lawyer spoke on his behalf, explaining that he does not have a violent history. “Medina has been convicted of two felonies, both of which were non-violent drug offenses,” the lawyer said. “He has never been convicted of a crime involving violence.” The judge approved Medina’s request to travel for work while on house arrest, even though prosecutors had alleged that he was the leader of a regional branch of the Latin Kings. It’s another loss for 6ix9ine in the case after one attacker was already released.

6ix9ine Is Focused On Music, Has No Time For Critics

Earlier today, 6ix9ine took to social media to address the criticism he has received for venturing into the Spanish music market. Despite facing backlash from both supporters and detractors, the rapper defended his decision in a video. He made it clear that he had no patience for anyone questioning his motives. Speaking directly to the camera, he revealed that he owed his label a Spanish album. They allegedly paid him 3 million for it in 2020. However, 6ix9ine emphasized that this was not the only reason behind his pivot into the Spanish music industry. In his opinion, it isn’t even the most important one.

In the video, 6ix9ine appears to be upset as he responds to those who have accused him of appropriation for making rap music. He addresses the suggestion that Spanish people are not entitled to be successful in rap. 6ix9ine proudly claims that being a Spanish-speaking rapper is part of his culture, especially being from New York. He believes that people are only upset with him because he is able to appeal to a new audience. Keep your eyes on HNHH for more updates on 6ix9ine’s court case and music.

6ix9ine On Criticism For Making Spanish Music: “It’s Our Culture, Too”

Recently, 6ix9ine has been in the midst of a huge comeback. He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but even the biggest haters among us can admit that the rapper’s new material is catchy. Still much of 6ix9ine’s comeback has been overshadowed by situations in his personal life. More specifically, the now-infamous LA Fitness assault seems to be what keeps the rapper in the headlines. Because he was attacked so close to his comeback, some even believe that 6ix9ine himself set up the attack as a way to get press. Still, it was a pretty embarrassing ordeal for the rapper.

In any case, it appears that the rapper might be moving on from his previous persona. 6ix9ine has always been well-known for shouting excessively during his earlier songs. However, the artist has recently delved into his Latin heritage for his latest two albums. He has been creating anthems fit for stadiums and international radio play instead of uncomfortably loud shouting over hard beats. Although it may have alienated some of his fans, he is beginning to gain a new following from it. However, some people aren’t having it.

6ix9ine: “Spanish N***as Can’t Eat?”

6ix9ine went on social media to set the record straight about his new direction. Recently, the rapper has received a bit criticism from both fans and haters for making Spanish music. The pivot into a new market was definitely a surprise for many. However, 6ix9ine makes it clear in the video that he has zero time for anyone who would question the decision. He talks directly to camera, leaving no room for doubt as to what his motives are. First, he tells fans that he actually owes his label a Spanish album. Apparently, they paid him millions of dollars back in 2020 for the creation of the record. However, that’s not the only reason, and according to 6ix9ine, it’s not the most important reason.

“You know how many Spanish n*ggas is born and raised… in the whole of New York City? What ya’ll trying to say, Spanish n*ggas can’t eat? When you Spanish, you can only make Reggaeton?” 6ix9ine said. “It’s our culture, too, n*gga…” 6ix9ine sounds angry in the video as he makes his feelings clear. It seems he is speaking directly to those who have accused him of being a “culture vulture” for making rap music. He went on to talk about his accomplishments as a Spanish-speaking rapper. “Name one Spanish rapper other than me… that can enter the top 10 on Billboard… Y’all just mad because I can enter a whole different demographic in the Spanish market. I dominated the English, and I’m gonna dominate the Spanish.” What do you think of 6ix9ine’s statement? Let us know in the comments!
