Last week the conspiracy theory-loving wackos in MAGA hatched some next level nonsense: Taylor Swift is conspiring with the “deep state” to rig the Super Bowl and then somehow get Joe Biden re-elected. Makes sense, right? Or does it? MAGA’s latest doozy earned them a whole new level of mockery (while all but ensuring the GOP has lost the youth vote forever). Sure enough, SNL on Saturday gave this one prime real estate on Weekend Update.

After describing the Swift theory, co-anchor Colin Jost simply marveled at the sheer breadth of hate among the Trump crowd, which sounds exhausting.

“Man, MAGA people have so many enemies to keep track of,” Jost said. “You have to hate the NFL, Taylor Swift, Bud Light, Disney, Kristen Stewart for some reason, electric stoves, windmills, the concept of rainbows, and the green M&M.”

Jost then added, “And you have to think that everybody in the government is a secret pedophile except for this guy dancing with Jeffrey Epstein.” Who was “this guy”? Of course it was the famous clip of a beaming Donald Trump dancing with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

“I mean, isn’t that the happiest you’ve ever seen Trump?” Jost noted. “He’s dancing like nobody is checking IDs.”

Elsewhere during the latest Weekend Update, Jost and Michael Che also dug in on Joe Biden, whose support among Black voters has slipped. “It’s getting so bad he now only has support from Obama’s white half,” Che joked.

Coi Leray Stuns With Pre-Grammys Gala Look & Celebrates Nominations

The 2024 Grammy Awards are right around the corner, and Coi Leray is celebrating her two nominations. Moreover, she posted a video on social media of her excitedly greeting (and inhaling) balloons that spell out “GRAMMY NOM,” presumably in her hotel room. If you didn’t already know, the Massachusetts rapper received nods in the Best Pop Dance Recording and Best Rap Performance categories. The latter is for her Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five-tributing jam, “Players,” whereas the former is for the song “Baby Don’t Hurt Me,” which she assisted David Guetta and Anne-Marie on. Not only that, but these are Benzino’s daughter’s first-ever nominations from the Recording Academy.

Furthermore, we can’t really call whether she’ll win the Best Pop Dance Recording category; “Rush” by Troye Sivan is a big favorite. Nevertheless, that’s not our niche, so who are we to say? What we can guess is that Coi Leray actually has a slight chance to win Best Rap Performance, given just how unique each nomination in that field is. 21 Savage Now Selling Gambling Merch After Adin Ross Scandal

21 Savage has begun selling branded dice and playing cards on his website days after being accused of scamming Adin Ross. The set of three d6 dice and a velvet bag costs $25 while a back of regulation playing cards costs $15. At the time of writing, the playing cards have already sold out. The new merch was released with very little fanfare but was clearly inspired by the ongoing scandal with Ross.

Of course, as mentioned, this all comes after 21 was roasted online for allegedly using marked cards against Adin Ross during a stream. 21 denied any knowledge of the cards. However, he said he would honor his debt and pay Ross the full amount he owed. The rapper had been down $400K at one point in the stream. He then made a miraculous comeback, eventually cashing out with Ross owing him $120K.

Meanwhile, during a phone call with Kai Cenat, Ross cleared the air about the ongoing situation with 21. First, Ross made it very clear that he did not blame 21 for the marked cards during their recent high-stakes gambling stream. Instead, Ross placed the blame on a member of Savage’s crew. Furthermore, Ross confirmed that since the stream, he had received a $250K payment from 21 to settle their debt. Cenat was simply happy that Ross, a close friend of his, had “got that bread”.

Meanwhile, 21 is not the only rapper that Ross has been rolling with lately. Drake has revealed to Adin Ross that he needs $3M to fly on the rapper’s private jet, Air Drake. The revelation came as Drake dialed into Ross’ latest stream. However, Ross, who is either a multi-millionaire or broke depending on the day, appeared confident that he could put the money together to cop a ride on the luxury airliner. Despite this, Drake held firm and let Ross know that there were no “friends and family discount” on an Air Drake trip. It was $3M or nothing.

In this instance, speculation around a new team-up stems from the Chicago artist’s recent Instagram Story post about another rap duo. Quavo and Rich The Kid spent their time at an Atlanta Hawks game filming a music video, and Ye reposted this clip on the social media platform. As such, fans theorize that he could hop on whatever this video is for.

Of course, this is all just part of the rumor mill right now, and it’s likely that Kanye West just wants to shout some rappers out. In fact, Quavo supposedly features multiple times on his Ty Dolla $ign collab album Vultures, whose first volume reportedly got a tracklist revision. Furthermore, the former Migo appears on “F**k Sumn” with Playboi Carti and “Back To Me” with Freddie Gibbs, or at least he did on previewed versions of these songs. As is typical with a Yeezy rollout, we can’t really say anything is set in stone until it’s released, and even then, folks could edit and revamp elements as proven with 2016’s The Life Of Pablo.

G Herbo Reveals New Mixtape “Best Rapper Alive” On The Way

G Herbo has revealed to TMZ that he has a new mixtape on the way. “I got new music comin’, man. New mixtape. It’s called Best Rapper Alive. I gave it to y’all first, TMZ,” Herbo told the outlet. Herbo didn’t reveal much else about the project and its release date also remains a mystery.

However, the project appears to be a bounce back for the rapper after the legal mess he found himself in to start the year. Herbo was sentenced to three years probation on identity theft and fraud charges. Ari Fletcher Rejects Notion That G Herbo “Made Her”

However, one person who may take issue with Herbo calling himself the best rapper alive is his ex, Ari Fletcher. Last year, Fletcher disputed the idea that her ex, G Herbo, “made her”. In a recent lengthy interview, Fletcher argued that her success was self-made and it didn’t matter who her ex was. The host agreed, arguing “They also say this about their exes, but why aren’t their other exes just as successful?” Furthermore, Fletcher argued that Herbo held her back. “If I had stayed…dead a—, I would not be the person I am today,” Fletcher said.

However, reactions were split online. “What does she do if he didn’t make her? She had a baby by a Chicago rapper,” one person argued. “Honestly the reason she gets this statement so much displays in this interview her arrogance she confuses with confidence. I left viewing this still asking what does she do again?” another concurred. Despite this, not everyone was against Fletcher. “And honestly Ari helped Herb become more successful. The way she use to promote his music NONSTOP and hype him is why I use to listen to his music. Check his album sales when he was with her vs after. IJS,” one supporter noted.

Donald Glover & “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” Widely Praised

Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the Prime TV remake of the iconic film of the same name, has opened to widespread praise. The show, which stars Donald Glover and Maya Erskine in the lead roles, opened to an 87% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The show has been widely praised for deviating from the vibe of the original film and being powered by the very real chemistry between Glover and Erskine. Audiences were a little cooler on the show, giving it a 67% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Overall, the general takeaway is that the eight-episode series “surpasses” the original material in myriad ways.

However, critics have noted that fans of the original should not go into the show expecting the same vibes as the film. The sexiness is still there, it’s just very different. One critic noted that the show is “so bizarre” that audiences will “either love it or hate it”. Despite this, the show is already proving to be a major successful for Amazon’s media production arm. Meanwhile, Glover also recently revealed that Brad Pitt gave him no advice after being cast in the show. Glover told The Tonight Show that the actor “Brad Pitted” his way through their interaction – being very charming but ultimately not saying a whole lot. Pitt also reportedly told Glover he’d “do a great job” but didn’t give anything more concrete than that. It remains to be seen how Pitt feels about the show now that critics have lauded Glover above him.

In the interview, Erskine also revealed that the studio was very keen to “sex it up” throughout the promotion of the show. However, Erskine revealed that this was something she struggled with because her “inner sexual animal” is a “worm”. It’s also an interesting direction, given how the show’s early marketing material portrays the couple as very business-minded and sexless.

Given the vague and quick nature of this video, though, exactly what the Toronto superstar did here is a bit unclear. Was he really just calling to make sure his money went to the right people or did he do this big reveal where he called so he could see their reactions? Whether from a distance or right in your face, The Boy definitely lives up to that cringe feminist bar on Her Loss.

Furthermore, Drake has plenty of reasons to celebrate these days, so it’s natural for him to spread that joy. At press time, the Grammy Awards are in just a couple of hours, and he’s among the most nominated artists in the rap field. Of course, this is curious because of the 37-year-old’s reluctance to submit his material for Recording Academy consideration in the past, and also because of a particularly fitting matchup.
