Malika Andrews Seeks Restraining Order Against Man Who Allegedly Targeted Other ESPN Employees

Malika Andrews is someone who has been having an amazing career over at ESPN. In just a few short years, she has been able to advance her standing within the company. Overall, she is the host of NBA Today and she also gives her talent to a myriad of other broadcasts. Unfortunately, she is someone who has taken a lot of heat over the last few years. This is due to the fact that she is not afraid to bring up the troubling pasts of certain players and coaches. Although some argue it is her job, others seem to find it offensive.

Recently, however, Andrews has been dealing with an incredibly scary situation. According to TMZ, she has a stalker who has been making threats on social media. The alleged perpetrator is Ahmed Abubakar from New Jersey. As she claims, Abubaker began sending her messages on Twitter which eventually became way too much. He was even messaging her on Instagram in a threatening fashion. Consequently, she wants a restraining order against the man.

As TMZ also reported, Abubakar has a history of going after on-air personalities from ESPN. For instance, he was doing the same kinds of things with the likes of Stephen A. Smith and even Molly Qerim. Furthermore, he reportedly went to Qerim’s house in Connecticut, which goes to show what kind of person Andrews is dealing with. She is currently stationed in Los Angeles, and her hope is that she can get Abubakar out of her life, forever.

Ja Morant’s explosive point guard play has often drawn comparisons to the Chicago Bulls version of Derrick Rose. The two are teammates in Memphis, and Rose had a specific message: “I’m not here to babysit you.”

During media day, Rose stated he delivered a specific message to Morant, who will travel and practice with the team despite being suspended for the opening 25 games.

“I’m not here to babysit you,” Rose said. “I’m not here to follow you around. I’m not here to cheerlead. … I’m here to push you.”

Rose said he would continue pushing Morant on the floor but add moments of “discipline to remind yourself or be mindful of the places you’re at, who you’re with, and your actions.”

Lillard Calls Antentokounmpo 'Best Player in the League'

Damian Lillard made his first appearance as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks during Media Day on Monday (Oct. 2). Sitting in front of the media, Lillard stated that he will be playing “alongside the best player in the league,” speaking of Giannis Antentokounmpo.

“My whole career has been off-the-dribble 3s, pick-and-roll pull-up 3s, contested. Double-teamed. Trapped,” Lillard said. “I’m curious to see how that can be possible with a player as dominant as he is. I’m excited for an opportunity to play with him. I’m excited for the opportunity to be freed up and the opportunity to have more space and opportunity to play. It’s going to be fun.”

The Damian Lillard era of the Portland Trailblazers ended last week. Lillard has been dealt to the Milwaukee Bucks in a three-team deal.

According to ESPN, the other teams in the deal are the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks. The Blazers will receive Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, Milwaukee’s 2029 unprotected 1st-round draft pick, and unprotected Milwaukee swap rights in 2028 and 2030. Holiday has already been traded to Boston.

The Suns will get Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little, and Keon Johnson.

Rumors were buzzing that Megan Thee Stallion might be asked to perform with Beyoncé on the Houston stop of the much-talked-about Renaissance. Turns out the rumors were true. Megan Thee Stallion made a big entrance to a surprised crowd during Beyoncé’s performance. The two Houston divas performed a live rendition of their popular collaboration, Savage (Remix).

Megan slightly twerked as she rapped her verse along with the crown as Bey watched proudly from the top of the stage. Beyoncé shared with the stadium how proud she was of Megan. “I love you, Queen,” Bey shouted to which Megan shrieked, “I love you, Beyoncé.”

Drake Matches Nails With Fan, Much To Her Delight

In fact, it doesn’t even feel real at this point. Sure, Drizzy himself has confirmed the album’s release, but there is still a fear that the project could end up being delayed again. That would be a huge hardship for fans, but for now, everyone is keeping their hopes up for what should be an amazing body of work.

In the midst of this album rollout, Drake has been on tour. This tour has been a huge success for him, and it continues to be fantastic. Although some have complained about his stage presence, others have been delighted with the history Drizzy takes his fans through. Additionally, he has done a great job of bringing out special guests, all while interacting with his fans. Speaking of fan interaction, he had one fan rushing to TikTok after getting to hold hands for just a brief moment.

Drake Teases “Table For One” Dropping This Week Ahead Of “For All The Dogs”

Drake will be hosting a new episode of his Sirius XM radio series, Table For One, later this week. He announced the show on Instagram, Monday. It comes ahead of the release of his new album, For All The Dogs, which drops on Friday.

“TABLE FOR ONE on SOUND 42 @siriusxm Thursday at 9pm EST,” he captioned the announcement. Fans shared plenty of hype in the comments section with countless fire emojis being left below the artwork. Drake didn’t provide any further details about what fans can expect from the show.

For All The Dogs was originally slated to release over the summer, but Drake delayed it back in September. He explained that he was too busy with the It’s All A Blur Tour and would have to cancel dates to get it out on time. “Okay, my dilemma I am faced with is either cancel shows to finish the album or I complete the mission and drop the album before the last show,” Drake wrote in a statement on his Instagram page at the time. “I owe you all these memories we are building, and anywhere we have missed to date, we will be spinning back for sure.” He has two back to back shows in place for Friday and Saturday in his hometown of Toronto.

Drake has yet to share the tracklist for For All The Dogs, but he has confirmed that his longtime collaborator, Nicki Minaj, will appear on the project. Childish Gambino Won’t Be Retiring Any Time Soon

It looks like Childish Gambino will release new music in the near future. Donald Glover has been quite busy in recent times with a number of projects in film and television. He finally closed out Atlanta last year following four seasons and launched Swarm, a new limited series that debuted on Amazon Prime. In the midst of it all, fans have wondered whether they’d be getting new music from Childish Gambino.

Fortunately, Glover confirmed the news in a new interview with Complex. Without giving too much away, he denied that he’d be retiring his alter-ego any time soon and plotted on the release of new music in the near future. “I feel like it’ll be clear sooner rather than later,” he said about the release of new music. “It’d be better for people to just tune in, I suppose. But I’m trying harder to not be cryptic. Tyler [The Creator] is always, like, ‘You’re so cryptic.’ But I’m like, ‘I’m really not.’ I just like suspense, I guess. I think it makes stuff better. But that’s just me.”

In 2017, Donald Glover hinted that he’d be releasing a final album under the Childish Gambino moniker. However, after the release of 3.15.20, he confirmed that wasn’t the case yet. Fortunately, he made it clear to Complex that he’d continue to make music while citing a famous clip of Cam’ron. “[Cam’ron] says, ‘Man, I do this because I’m nice. I don’t need the money. I do this because I’m nice, man,’” Glover recalled.

“And I’m like, yeah, I do this because I’m nice,” he continued. “I don’t think I’d ever stop, because of like… I always liked it because I liked it. I never did it because it was like, man, this is a good way to get put on or something. I like the feeling of it. I do this because I’m nice. Usher Performs With Offset At His Paris Residency: Watch

Usher’s return to music has included a whole bunch of storylines. One of the biggest pop culture news stories of 2023 was the drama including Keke Palmer and her ex Darius Jackson. After a five-year album hiatus, he will be making a return with a new album on the day of the big game. His last release came back on October 12, 2018. It was a short collaborative project titled “A” with trap-producing legend, Zaytoven. We still have five months before that all happens, but it is great to see one of the most beloved R&B legends make a ceremonious comeback. He continues to ride this amazing winning streak with a recent performance during his residency in Paris.
