T-Pain is someone who is a legend in the music world. Although he was disrespected early on, he is indeed a pioneer. He is an incredible singer and his use of autotune only helped enhance his music. It was always an aesthetic choice to add texture, as opposed to a crutch. Unfortunately, some never got that memo and denigrated him. However, for those with a bit more sense, Pain is rightfully considered as one of those artists worthy of the utmost respect. Without him, some of your favorite records and artists would not exist.

2024 is going to be an exciting year for the artist, as well as his fans. Last night, he announced that he is getting his very own Las Vegas residency. Overall, it seems like more and more artists are getting these. They are a great way to showcase your legacy, and Pain seems very excited. “Full speed towards 2024,” he wrote. “I’m proud to officially announce that I’m kicking off my FIRST EVER Vegas residency at @zoukgrouplv and @ayudayclub Catch my very first show on Thu, Feb 8 at #ZoukNightclub – Tickets are live, join me for a ride you won’t forget.”

Furthermore, Pain got to speak with ABC 13 where he explained just how excited he is for the new chapter of his career. “2024 is going to be a great year,” T-Pain explained. “I’ve been fortunate to have an amazing career and I’ve always dreamed of having a residency of my own. Usher Reflects On His Career As Las Vegas Residency Ends

Usher reflected on his career on Twitter, earlier this week, following the end of his Las Vegas residency. When one fan resurfaced a clip of him once discussing the idea of eventually doing a residency in the city with Trevor Nelson in 2004, he told fans to look at how far he’s come.

In the clip, Nelson asks him to promise never to do a Las Vegas residency. “I can’t promise that,” Usher responds. “You know what, because I am such a theatrical artist, I would love to be in a space– If I did decide to go to Las Vegas, it would be the most phenomenal thing you’ve ever seen in your life.” Replying to the clip on Twitter, Usher wrote: “I saw it then…look at me now.”

It isn’t the first time Usher has shared an emotional response to the ending of his Las Vegas residency. During the final concert, he broke down into tears on stage in front of his fans. “I remember the purpose that this offers, the opportunity that this offers for us to not see color, but to recognize culture, for us to not get caught up in our differences but see our similarities,” he said at the end of the show. “The fact that we love music, the fact that we love entertainment, the fact that we can just enjoy ourselves in this moment—that’s what God would want and that’s what we’re doing.”

Usher Breaks Down Into Tears During Final Las Vegas Show

Usher became emotional on stage during the final show for his Las Vegas residency on Saturday night. Before saying his goodbye to the crowd, following a two-hour performance that highlighted many of his most iconic songs, he reflected on the experience over the past two years.

“I remember the purpose that this offers, the opportunity that this offers for us to not see color, but to recognize culture, for us to not get caught up in our differences but see our similarities,” he said at the end of the show. “The fact that we love music, the fact that we love entertainment, the fact that we can just enjoy ourselves in this moment—that’s what God would want and that’s what we’re doing.”

It was a star-studded affair on Saturday night, as Usher has become accustomed to throughout the residency. Donald Glover, Floyd Mayweather, Scooter Braun, Johnta Austin, Bryan-Michael Cox, and even JAY-Z’s mother, Gloria Carter, were all in attendance. At one point during the show, Usher serenaded Mary J. Blige and H.E.R. “Oh Mary, y’all know I got a thing for older women, now,” he joked to Blige. He finished the night with a performance of “Without You.” Check out his emotional goodbye below.

Usher Taps Nas To Perform With Him During Las Vegas Show: Watch

Usher has had a star-studded week performing in Las Vegas. He’s kicked his high profile residency in the city up to a new gear and bringing some big names with him. Dr. Dre, J-Lo, Doja Cat, Summer Walker, and Jessica Alba all showed up to either attend or even join the R&B singer on-stage. But one guest totally stole the show from everyone coming on stage and playing a pair of his classic tracks.

That guest star was Nas. The rap legend took the stage on Friday, October 20 during Usher’s performance and he made the most of his time. He unpacked songs like “If I Rules The World (Imagine That) and “You Owe Me” to a crowd that was absolutely feeling it. October 17 was officially declared Usher Raymond Day in Las Vegas. The honor comes in advance of another connection between the singer and the city.

When Keke Palmer sat in the audience, she and the R&B icon broke the internet as he sultrily serenaded her, much to the starlet’s baby daddy’s dismay. Thankfully, she and Darius Jackson managed to navigate their issues and continue raising their young son, Leodis, together. Usher, however, hasn’t stopped singing to other people’s partners while on stage, causing him to be put on blast by Charlamagne Tha God during a recent episode of The Breakfast Club.

“Let me tell you how much of a terrorist Usher is,” the Brilliant Idiots host told listeners. “He went from my wife to Doja Cat, who was clearly there with a guy,” Charlamagne explained. Seeing as the Scarlet artist has been dating J. Cyrus on the low for some time now, our bet is that she attended the concert with him. “He didn’t care,” the radio host noted of Usher’s nonchalance towards the men in the room. “Then, Jessica Alba was sitting behind me. He went and started singing to her, she’s married!”

Usher Performs With Offset At His Paris Residency: Watch

After a five-year album hiatus, he will be making a return with a new album on the day of the big game. His last release came back on October 12, 2018. It was a short collaborative project titled “A” with trap-producing legend, Zaytoven. We still have five months before that all happens, but it is great to see one of the most beloved R&B legends make a ceremonious comeback. He famously did a duet with Keke Palmer, and her boyfriend took to social media to diss her for the way she was dressed. Many social media users speculated, however, that he was more hurt by the romantic performance. The situation was met with a flood of jokes and memes on social media, and it was believed that Palmer and the father of her child had split. This was eventually proven to be false, and Usher even did a music video with Palmer as a nod to the incident.

Amid the drama, Boosie Badazz weighed in, claiming that Usher was on a “take your girl tour.‘” He shared more of his thoughts on the situation during a recent interview with VladTV, and according to him, he wouldn’t let it slide. The rapper explained what he’d do if the artist tried to take his woman, claiming that the only solution to the problem is to not bring your partner to see Usher at all.

Quavo Pops Out At Usher’s Show With Rumored New Boo

For those not caught up on the rumor mill, Quavo and Lori Harvey recently shut down rumors that they were seeing each other. Moreover, it seems like this came at a pretty convenient but also possibly messy time, because it seems like the former Migo just debuted a new relationship. Recently, he went to one of Usher’s shows with gymnast Erica Fontaine. “I hope you don’t mind if I serenade your lady real quick,” the singer told the Georgia rapper as he approached them in the crowd. While this is still just sheer speculation at the end of the day, it’s also a slightly stronger suggestion of a pairing than whatever got people thinking he and Lori Harvey had something going on.

Of course, this is also notable because of all the serenades that Usher offered to famous women recently. The most notable instance was Keke Palmer getting blasted by her boyfriend Darius Jackson for it, which went down a bit over a week ago. The latest famous female to fall under the R&B star’s spell was Kash Doll. Usher Crowd-Surfing During Las Vegas Concert

Fans probably knew what to expect going into Usher’s residency in Las Vegas, or so they thought. Yesterday a video surfaced on Twitter of Usher jumping into the audience and crowd-surfing in the middle of a song. While crowd-surfing isn’t anything unusual at a show Usher probably isn’t the first name you’d think of doing it. Usher is in the middle of a residency at the MGM in Las Vegas playing a number of shows in June and July. He’s also scheduled to return to the stage later this year for a further residency in October.

Earlier this month Usher performed at The Roots’ Picnic festival in Philly. Before his Sunday night set fans caught videos of him just walking around the festival. Fans went crazy around the singer as he made his way through the crowd during someone else’s set, much to his amusement. Alongside Usher, the festival roster included GloRilla, Lauryn Hill, Ari Lennox, City Girls, and more.

Usher Dives Into The Crowd

Last month Usher was asked about what his dream collaboration was and the answer was pretty surprising. His choice was the legendary film director and king of mobster movies Martin Scorsese. While he’s been in a handful of movies before his dream job would be collaborating with the Goodfellas director. In the same interview, he made sure not to get fans’ hopes up after a recent rumor. The singer confirmed that there was no plan to release a sequel to his classic 2004 album Confessions. Instead, he’s trying to look forward and come up with new ideas to pursue.

Usher’s last album came out back in 2016. Hard II Love was his 8th album and it debuted at number 5 on the Hot 100. He followed it up with a short collaborative project with Zaytoven called in 2018 called A. He dropped “GLU” his first new single of 2023 so far and his most recent new material back in March.
